As Gretchen Rubin reminded us on a recent episode of the Happier Podcast it is not selfish or unimportant to look for ways to be happy even when and especially when life feels really hard. When we are happier, we can do more to assert our values in the world and do hard things, so I started this segment with that reminder. Knitting on Hattie's socks and Sue's Instagram live on the day after the election helped me through a very difficult day. Halloween! Leaning into connecting with my people- whether that's work, friends, family, knitting community. Its small but its powerful. During Mom's first infusion, we played UNO. Mom slaughtered us! Dad got up and jokingly said he was going to smother her with a pillow before she could beat us any further and she was laughing so hard she almost offed herself! That was a bit of levity we all needed that night. We watched G&Z while their parents went out for their anniversary and again on Veteran's Day. Date night with Dan between Mom's treatments. I had a delicious pumpkin beer- Night Shift Pumpkin Piescraper Pumpkin Pie Ale. I went to see & Juliet with Megg, Terri, Liz and Riley. Then I had a sleepover at my brothers where Riley, Millie and I inadvertently had a matching PJs night.   Quote of the Week   “The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.” ― G.K. I found some of my handspun (Ravelry page here) that I thought would work, wound it up and then did a wraps per inch test and its too thin. I went back to the handspun bin, and found another skein (Ravelry page) and now I'm thinking they'd be nice in the Inclinations Cowl by Andrea Mowy (Ravelry | website). The goal of this cowl was for a potential Christmas gift even though I'd like it for me, but I think with these 2 skeins of handspun I want to keep it, so we'll see if I cast these on now or let it marinate, because I also want to cast on a sweater for me, and more socks and hats for Christmas gifts. I swatched for a sweater with yarn from VT Sheep and Wool. More on that next time.   From the Armchair The Glassmaker by Tracy Chevalier. Bookshop Affiliate Link. Commentator Mary Klute's report: The first quarter challenge has really inspired pigskin partiers! There has been a lot of chatter in the huddle thread about the new techniques folks are planning to meet the requirements of the challenge!   Some players are planning to tackle knitting techniques that they have never tried before like half fisherman's rib, colorwork, intarsia, magic loop, a new cast on or bind off, and brioche. Others are trying out a new tool like an i-cord maker or a new knitting app Others are trying new kinds of projects: a garment with lace down the side, joggers, knitting a shawl for the first time, knitting a shawl with an unusual construction, and colorwork socks A couple of people have mentioned joining mystery knit a longs for the challenge Others have mentioned using varieties of yarn they've never used before like boucle yarn or non-superwash wool. And a finally a bunch of players are planning crochet projects--some who have never successfully crocheted before and others who want to grow their crochet skills by moving beyond granny squares or learning how to join crocheted pieces. This challenge is really motivating players to step out of their comfort zones!  If you still haven't decided what to do for the quarter 1 challenge--head on over to the huddle thread for some inspiration!    Events NY Sheep & Wool Festival (aka Rhinebeck): October 19 & 20, 2024 in Rhinebeck, NY Fiber Festival of New England- November 2 & 3- Mom, Riley and I are going on Sunday November 3rd Maryland Alpaca and Fleece Festival: November 9-10, 2024 in West Friendship, Maryland For more West Coast (US) event- check out the Seattle Knitters Guild Site.   Contest, News & Notes   My friend Linda is looking for donations of warm handknit/crocheted items for adult and youth homeless in Massachusetts. I wasn't going to have enough of the Lion Brand Roving to make the whole thing, so I held the Wool of the Andes double for the part that would be covered. I worked a single crochet around the edges, and then sewed the front to back in just 1 spot on either side. I used a chain for the loop to tack it up on the wall. Total for Stash Dash: 128.1 meters   Declan's Adrift Socks Yarn: Patons Kroy Stripes in the Adrift colorway Needles: US 1.5 (2.5 mm) Pattern: OMG Heel Socks by Megan Williams ($5 knitting pattern available on Ravelry ) Ravelry Project Page About the colorway- short stripes (about 3 rounds each) with 3 shades of blue- navy, denim and cornflower plus orange and brown. Total for Stash Dash: 278.2 meters   Deschain Pattern Deschain by Leila Raven Needles: US 9 (5.5 mm) Yarn. Rowan Creative Linen. Colorway 00624-   Gray. Worsted weight 50% Linen / Flax, 50% Cotton. 200 meters / 100 grams. Bought 4 skeins. Used a little more than 2 Size: Smallest (54 1/4 in bust) Calls for 16-22" positive ease. I should have around 19" Ravelry Project Page Originally finished July 10, 2021. I ripped out in 2024 because the back was far too short. I ripped out the sleeves (tossed) and unseamed the back and front. The instructions call for the back to be 12 inches but the front falls about 17 inches from collarbone to the bottom hem. I knit about 14 inches on the back and then worked a few sets of German Short Rows before the bottom hem instructions. I tried a few options for sleeves and then decided I"d just sew up the ends in a way to tuck/hem the ends under and I love that. In the end I made the body longer and the sleeves shorter Total for Stash Dash: 424.0 meters (463.7 yards), 212 grams   First Point of Libra Cowl Pattern: First Point of Libra Cowl by Laura Aylor Needles: US 3 (3.25 mm) Yarn: Barnyard Knits, Fuse Fiber Studio, One Twisted Tree (shop formerly own Prairie Girl Danie) + other leftover sock yarn Ravelry Project Page Yarn purchased at Vogue Knitting Live January 2020 with Lauren. Planned to make a 2 color shawl. Cast on My Cryptonite by Melanie Berg and never got more than a couple inches in. Here's the Ravelry Project Page for the shawl that's now frogged. I started in October 2022. My November 2022 notes say- I'm losing mojo on this and I don't think it has to do w/ the pattern or my yarn. I like it... but its not getting finished before my trip to the UK so I will need to find other wooly accessories to bring with me. I picked up again July 2024 and it flew off the needles! Modifications: In Section 4, I skipped adding color 4 & 5 (1-3 only). Skipped Section 5. Finished size: 21 inches around. 15 inches tall. Total for Stash Dash: 406 meters   Vera's Christmas Stocking Pattern: Christmas Stockings to Knit and Crochet from Family Circle Magazine. Available in this web archive link. Centers in colorways- Fern, Coney Island, Seaglass, Slate. Borders- Wheat & Oatmeal Hook: 10mm (N/P) Notes: started in April 2022. I never talked about it on the podcast.  Inspired by an instagram post from Lion Brand. This WIP has been taking up a ton of space in my craft room ever since. When the pump in my dehumidifer went and we had to move some things to get at it, I decided I had to get this WIP done. 2 rounds of color- 1 round of wheat or oatmeal 18 were done. 30 finished now   Berry Bliss Socks Yarn: Hypnotic Yarn Plush Sock (75% SW Merino/25% Nylon) in the Berry Bliss Colorway (May 2024 Yarnable Box) & Legacy Fiber Artz Glitzy Toes (pink mini from 2023 Advent Calendar) Needles: US 1.5 (2.5 mm) Ravelry Project Page About the yarn- lemon yellow, sherbet orange and pink. I worked the first heel in a pink sparkle yarn from Legacy Fiber Artz because I have some spiral striping going on and didn't want to disrupt it. Progress: I've finished the heel on the first sock.   Rafa's Hat Yarn: Malabrigo Rios in the Cielo y Tierra colorway Needles: US 5 (3.75 mm) Pattern: Rafa's Hat by Joji Locatelli (free knitting pattern available on Ravelry) Ravelry Project Page: About the yarn: blues/tans that is almost striping at my gauge. The hat is a 1x1 rib that has a cool purl ridge detail. Progress: I've worked two repeats of the pattern   Cold Goat Farm Spinning Fiber: Cold Goat Farm Batt- I believe its Merino/Mohair but there are no details on the business card in my bag. I think I purchased it at Rhinebeck 2023. Twist direction: singles = Z plied = S This means when I'm spinning, my wheel is spinning clockwise and when plying my wheel is moving counter-clockwise. The next day after pool day and dinner we practiced chain and single crochet.   In My Travels Dan and I spent a long weekend in Portland, Maine to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. I was able to go up a night early to attend the knit night at Rising Tide Brewery. I loved meeting Heather from Rising Tide and Jenn & her husband Chuck from Knit Wit. Friday morning, I visited Knit Wit Yarn Shop's new location and then walked around. Dan, Dana and Sheri arrived and we met at Duck Fat for lunch before showing them around to some of our favorite breweries. Saturday we visited local shops and more breweries before going to see comedian Kathleen Madigan. Sunday, I did some shopping while Dan watched soccer then we enjoyed some drinks together and ended up back at Rising Tide where there was a 6p Burlesque show so Dan got us tickets. Really fun end to an awesome weekend.   KAL News Pigskin Party '24 will kick off in the fall (specific date TBD). We're looking for Sponsors for this season. Interested or know someone who is? Let me know!   Life in Focus   Tune in for a health Update on BostonJensMom   On a Happy Note Dan and I took vacation the first week of July. Monday after Portland we just chilled. Tuesday I took Mom for whole brain radiation, then to visit my grandmother (her mother) and out for lunch. Wednesday/Thursday we visited friends renting a house in Wellfleet (Cape Cod) and Thursday/Friday we visited friends in Falmouth. Friday morning we picked up Riley from Camp and brought her to our house before she and I headed to Hornstra to get ice cream for lunch (because that's what vacation is for!) and over to my parents to the pool for the day. Monday 7/8- I met up with my friend Megg to do a 5+ mile beach walk before she headed out to Ireland for the month. Wed 7/10  Mom and I stayed in Boston to save her the back & forth daily for treatment. We met her friend Jacky for lunch. I went back to work in the afternoon. After work, we cooled off in the hotel pool and then had dinner, played Uno and bar trivia at The Hill. We stunk but it was fun! Sunday July 14th pool day at my parents. Jenna, Dave, Gabriella and Zach came over. Within a few hours they were both jumping off the diving board! July 17-18th Mom and I stayed in Boston again after her Radiation treatment. We hit the pool and fared slightly better at trivia but it was hard to be out as long. Mom's energy was much lower, she was coughing more and couldn't speak above a whisper. July 21st we had a pool day at my parents. Jeff, Millie and Garret, Jenna, and the 2 kiddos, Kris, Will, Aila and Matt. We celebrated Will's 17th birthday. Mom's hair had started falling out and the blank spots at the back of her head looked like a butterfly! Mom told us to go find some Sharpies and color it in! It was a hard day for her and by extension us, but this added a bit of fun and whimsy to it! Millie even attached little plastic gems to parts of the butterfly. After the "temporary tattooing" we shaved off the rest of her hair to help w/ the shedding. July 23rd- Mom's last day of Whole Brain Radiation! Coming home to a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Dan. Getting 2 massages this month after missing my scheduled on in June for our Portland trip! I always feel like I need it but I've been going up on weights at the gym and my upper body was screaming!   Quote of the Week “I know nothing in the world that has as much power as a word. Allan Little takes us on a journey into Scotland's recent history. Fifty years ago a radical theatrical event captured the nation's state of political and social flux, and helped fuel a growing debate about devolution and independence. As Scotland once more considers its future place in the UK and Europe, what part did 7:84 theatre company's The Cheviot, the Stag and the Black, Black Oil play in shaping attitudes in the decades since? John McGrath's play was first performed in April 1973 at a conference in Edinburgh called ‘What Kind of Scotland?' The audience of academics, activists and writers had gathered to debate Scotland's economic and political future at a time when nationalism was on the rise and concern was growing about the fair distribution of North Sea oil revenues. The play charted the exploitation of Scotland's natural resources, starting with the Highland Clearances of the 18th and 19th centuries, when crofters were forcibly evicted from their homes to make way for more profitable Cheviot sheep. The Stag refers to the later commercialisation of deerstalking and grouse shooting for the benefit of landowners on large Highland estates. As for the oil – North Sea reserves had only recently been discovered when the play was written 50 years ago. 7:84 believed the windfall profits from oil and gas would fall into the hands of American corporations. The show went on the road, playing at schools and community halls across the Highlands, sometimes to as few as a dozen people. Many audience members had never been to see a play before. They were farmers and fisherfolk, and often the direct descendants of families who had suffered in the Clearances. In the north-east, the show resonated with communities whose lives were rapidly changing because of the burgeoning North Sea oil boom. While many were excited by the prosperity and opportunity oil would bring, others feared that Scotland's resources would once more be plundered, this time by American multinationals and the Westminster exchequer. Through archive sources and fresh new interviews with cast members, historians, campaigners and writers, Allan explores the ways in which The Cheviot, the Stag and the Black Black Oil influenced not just the politics of the time but cultural perceptions of Scotland and Scottishness. Mark Wragg transitioned from Romney ewes to a finer wool cross three years ago. Today he chats to Mark Ferguson about that process and also about the introduction of a White Suffolk stud to their business. After attending a NZM workshop a few years ago Cheviot, which Mark Ferguson spoke at, Mark Wragg decided to make the jump into transitioning to finer wool genotype. "A long time ago they tried merinos but the feet just fell apart.  We have heavy clay downs and it stays wet all winter. It's pretty hard on feet." But after hearing about the work done in footrot breeding values in Merinos, Mark decided to give it another go. "Certainly that workshop opened our eyes to the potential and what was possible."Mark introduced the Southern Cross genotype into his Romney flock three years ago. The southern cross is a fine wool sheep that focuses very heavily on footrot breeding values, dag breeding values and WEC breeding values..."...and all the things you need to entice a Romney farmer to take on a fine wool genotype. " says FergFerg and Mark run through the highs and lows of transitioning into a new genotype. The main issue is uneven lines of lambs. But as Mark explains, "It's just transitioning and its's part of it and you've got to grin and bare it until you get through it."But the highlights?"We had the opportunity to shear about 4000 first cross lambs and even in that first cross they went from $2.50 for Romney lambs wool to getting almost $10 a kilo for that first cross wool""Certainly helped with paying the shearers." says Mark.Along with the first cross hoggets averaging 26 micron, weaning weights being up 2kg on last year and there not being a sign of footrot on the place, you could say Mark is convinced.  Mark also discusses the introduction of the White Suffolks into New Zealand from Australia.  "The thing I really like about the White Suffolk is that it has a really nice shape for lambing ease nice, low birth weights but very rapid growth, which is what kiwis needs as seasons are short and variable."Ferg also has a love for the breed. "It would be hard to argue there is a more performance driven terminal breed in the world than the White Suffolk."This podcast is a great insight into what it looks like to transition from a Romney to a finer wool genotype without sacrificing any of the production traits that traditionally came with a finer wool type. Head Shepherd is brought to you by neXtgen Agri International Limited, we help livestock farmers get the most out of the genetics they farm with. When Cliff Brown arrived in Singapore in 2008 equine virus had paralysed the racing industry in most parts of eastern Australia. It was nine months before Cliff was able to transport Aussie horses to his new training base. After a tardy start he went on to enjoy 13 fruitful years in Singapore. He talks of the endless Covid lockdown which brought him back to Australia last year. Cliff looks back on a very satisfying thirteen years in a city he grew to love.   The trainer profiles some very talented horses he got to train in Singapore. There was one he didn't train but admired greatly. Cliff talks about The Inferno who won eight of his nine starts in Singapore before being flown to Melbourne where he won the McEwen Stakes before being narrowly beaten in the Gr 1 Moir. Those performances earned him an invitation into The Everest. The fifty two year old horseman takes us back to his early years at Narbethong where his father bred a few horses. Cliff says his dad Don wasn't a hands on horseman but an expert on thoroughbred pedigrees. He talks of a homebred called Average Game who sired two of his all time favourite horses. Cliff pays tribute to Cheviot- his first Gr 1 winner. He acknowledges the deeds of Tarnpir Lane with whom he won a Gr 1 Rosehill Guineas and a Gr 2 Memsie Stakes. He placed in several elite races. Cliff says he was an average trainer when he had Tarnpir Lane. Cliff loved Markham, one of his three South Australian Derby winners and later destined to run third in a Melbourne Cup.  He profiles Blue Murder, yet another SA Derby winner. Cliff talks of his Adelaide Cup success with The A Train. He admits it wasn't a strong Cup but a Gr 1 is a Gr 1 anywhere, anytime. He talks of his current base at Mornington and the excellent facilities available to local trainers. Cliff talks of his children India (23), Harvey (20) and Felix (16) who spent a large part of their early years in Singapore.

This week on the Head Shepherd podcast we have Ryan Maclean, based in North West Scotland. Ryan and Mark met through a mutual friend and sheep scanner Daniel Wheeler.Ryan was raised on a beef and sheep farm in Scotland, where he is running around 1,000 ewes and 120 breeding cattle between himself and his father. He runs predominately Cheviot sheep, with some crossed to a Texel. They also have a pedigree Limousins and Belted Galloway herds. Ryan however, spends most of his time off farm following the seasonal cycle of farming with his contracting business. Sheep and cattle pregnancy scanning, sheep shearing, lambing and calving plus crop work. He says it works well when the seasons play ball, but there isn't much time to spare when they don't. He first picked up his handpiece when he was around 15 and now has his own shearing run where he covers around 55,000 sheep a year. Ryan spent time in Australia and New Zealand shepherding and shearing, claiming his 200 Merinos in a day a few years ago- one of his best days in farming that really stands out for Ryan.Mark and Ryan discuss the differences in farming around the world, and across individual countries, and how this can open your eyes to different farming systems and what works, and more importantly, what doesn't. Genetics is inevitably covered and it is always interesting to hear what different types of animals are required for different environments. With nearly 2,900mm rainfall, the Macleans breed for high fat and a smaller adult weight in both cattle and sheep. And with a "9 month winter", Body Condition Score is something Ryan is also interested in. It is essential their sheep can stack on weight in summer and hold it through winter.Ryan has also been keeping track of his shedding Cheviots "Ironic, from a sheep shearer really". He hasn't selected for it but some in the breed naturally shed wool, so it's something he keeps note of. As always, this is another great podcast with a young farmer with passion and drive to make a change.Growing Ewe MasterclassWe will be running our third cohort of the Growing Ewe Masterclass in March, 2022. Roy L Hales/ Cortes Currents - According to Campbell River's Sustainable Official Community Plan, 12% all trips to work within the city were to consist of walking, cycling or transit by 2020. They hope to increase this number to a third by 2060. In today's interview the city's transportation specialist, Melissa Heidema, talks about Campbell River's shift to alternate forms of transportation. Her most recent data comes from the 2006 census, at which point 10% of the population used alternate modes of transportation: 3% public transit, 6% are walking and 1% cycling. “The goal in the master transportation plan is to get that 10% up to 20%, which would be 10% walking, 5% cycling and 5% transit. Now, 5% biking doesn't sound like a lot, but our current mode share is 1%. So we're aiming to go from 1% to 5%, which is quite a big jump,” explained Heidema. She admitted that more recent data will soon be available, and this could alter their perception of the situation. In addition, Campbell River's current master transportation plan was drawn up in 2012. The city is awarding the contract for a 2022 plan to the WATT Consulting Group out of Victoria. “This will give our community a lot of opportunity to comment on how they feel traffic is going in Campbell river and what improvements they'd like to see over the next 25 years,” said Heidema. Up until recently the city had a list of 37 potential projects that could improve the cycling environment, but only a $15,000 budget! Heidema said that was ‘not enough money to really do anything.' Thanks to the River City Cycle Club, the budget for 2022 is now $200,000. “They really very respectfully asked council for more money and made them see that, ‘hey, there's a desire. There's a need for this in Campbell river.' Cycling has a whole host of benefits. It's makes for healthier individuals, healthier communities, less reliance on fossil fuels, less pollution, less congestion, less collisions. It's just better all around in a community if you have more cyclists.” Heidema is in the midst of trying to figure which projects are most beneficial fo rthe community. “Hopefully we pick a project that will bring cyclists off of a major street and into a more local pedestrian cyclist friendly street that brings them downtown and into Willow point,” she said. She described two projects: slowing down traffic on Birch street and making it safer for cyclists. Taking parking away from one side of Hilchey and adding a buffered bike lane The city is also putting sidewalks onto more streets, to make them pedestrian friendly. Their next sidewalk installation project is Cheviot road, a narrow street that leads up to Ripple Rock Elementary School. Heidema said Campbell River has an excellent transit system, with major ibus lines along Dogwood street, Alder and Highway 19 A. “We are getting ready to implement the next ride system,” she said. People will soon be able use their smartphones to find out what bus stop they are at and when the next bus is arriving. “I'm thrilled that this is coming to Campbell river.”

We start with how he accidentally fell into finance, after studying organic chemistry.  His investment beliefs have evolved over time, but he continues to be focused (perhaps deriving from his roots as a scientist) on empirical evidence, and does not believe that finance is a dark art, but is instead about engaging with the real world.  He speaks about his aversion to having too much "conviction" and certainty around market direction and asset classes. Given David's extensive experience in rendering advice, we compare working with individual clients to institutions, and how the attitude to risk, time horizon and capital preservation might be different. We move to talk about his writing - which he likens to "going to the mental gym" each week, and the sense of discipline and clarity that writing his thoughts down brings to him. This podcast is brought to you with the kind support of Pluscios Capital, a women-owned, WBENC certified investment management firm based in Evanston, IL. Welcome to this month's GPS Training podcast, it's our 32nd episode. In this month's we again have Ian and me Jon, both from GPS Training. Many thanks for all the feedback you sent after last month's podcast, number 31, about the interview I did with Paul Freeman, after he completed to Spine Race challenger event. I know I have had lots of emails on a number of you have been telling me on the courses how much you enjoyed it.Have you been up to much Ian over the past month? So, without further ado let's get on with today's podcast …… This month's Podcast we are going to look at - · Garmin inReach technology, what is it and what units can you get with this technology in. · We look at the different mapping options on both Garmin and SatMap GPS units. · We then have Ian's FAQ's, the frequently asked questions Ian has answered whilst supporting our customers or on some of the GPS Training courses he has been leading. To start this month's Podcast, we are going to look at Garmin inReach, this is the technology Garmin have that enables two way satellite communication. • Garmin bought a business called Delorme back in 2016 • Two-way satellite communicator, using the Iridium satellites, the same as a Sat Phone uses. • You can send both pre-set and text messages from the unit via satellites. • Initially Garmin just rebranded Delorme products, but over recent years we have seen the technology in new standalone products (inReach mini) and also in navigation GPS units, mainly the Garmin GPSMAP66i • SOS button – GEOS Worldwide, is an independent emergency response organization headquartered outside of Houston, Texas. Their high-tech underground facility is the central component in their International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC). That facet of their operation is somewhat self-explanatory. When GEOS receives a distress call, their IERCC department swings into action to coordinate an immediate and appropriate response. Sounds simple enough, but what does that actually mean? • GEOS also maintains a large network of offices around the globe in Perth, Marrakech, Paris, London, New York, San Jose, and Los Angeles. • You need a contract to get a Garmin inReach to work (like a mobile phone contract) and these start from £12.99/month but a little more for a more usable contract. I think we pay around £25.00/ month which is a good mid-range contract. • Contracts vary according to number of Text messages you want to send each months and if your tracking points are included in the contract or not. The interesting thing is that all pre-set messages are unlimited and also the SOS button works on whatever contract you are on Why, when going off grid is it important – mobile phone, cold temperatures, no mobile phone signal – personal experiences – 23% - top of The Cheviot 2 x runners Other products in the marketplace • Sole Walkers – SPOT SPOT 3 – Comes in at £119.99 – What is the SPOT? – Satellite GPS personal tracker – You have a number of pre-set messages you can send, you set these up yourself online and you can send to multiple e-mail and text numbers – Live tracking place – both online and in app – Contracts are a little cheaper – £17.99 for unlimited everything – You still get the GEOS SOS support – Lightweight and stunning battery life AND then last year we got the Spot X - £309.99 Two-way communication from Spot – NOT 100% worldwide experience BUT you can only send messages and not receive them inReach – Mini and GPSMAP66i There are currently three models – – Garmin inReach Mini – Tether with phone, GPSMAP66s, and Garmin Fenix watch Small and hard to input messages but use presets mostly and phone keyboard is best options for messages – Garmin 86i – For on the water Garmin GPSMAP66i – personal experienced There are still inRaech SE+ and inReach Explorer units still around but 66i is so much better

From the Bay Horse Cafe to Maury's Tiny Cove, Ginny Tonic and Charlie were all over the city this week checking out bars, new and old, creating stories every step of the way. This quest took them from OTR to Cheviot then back downtown again. This week the opening segment covers A LOT of locations and stories then our hosts settle in to talk with the creative personalities of Aster, a new bar located on 4th Street near Vine. This great new spot considers itself a "social sippery where old friends gather and new ones are made". First, we share an interview about the concept behind the bar then we try their drink menu in a cocktail run that is unequaled on many levels. We close the show with some recommendations that will send you on your way in style once again.
