Truck wash day! Gonna be almost 50° today with some colder temps & snow on the way tomorrow. So gotta get that truck in the car wash. Heading into the weekend, we talked about what's on TV for the next few days and what's new in theaters along with a few new music releases. Doc had to pre-record today's racing report thanks to County Materials in Holmen and Eau Claire! We also highlighted some things to look forward to in the month of March, including some movies & TV shows, sporting events, and some of the holidays! Speaking of sports, the Bucks play tonight, the Badgers are in Washington tomorrow afternoon, the US Women's Hockey team is going to be partying in Las Vegas with Flavor Flav…while the US Men's Hockey team had their bar tab taken care of by Pat McAfee! A burger battle is heating up between McDonald's & Burger King…as Mickey-D's is introducing the "Big Arch Burger" and BK is apparently revamping it's Whopper. Plus, have you seen the new Johnsonville sausage flavor? Not sure I want to try this one. In the news this morning, a woman gives birth to a MASSIVE baby, the guy in Wyoming who dragged a dying wolf into a bar after hitting it with his snowmobile reaches a plea deal, and the grandfather with the "PB4WEGO" license plate gets a bit of help from the governor of NY. Elsewhere in sports, the NFL player's report gets leaked, Tony Dungy is apparently out at "Sunday Night Football", a couple of college basketball players helped out when those two cars fell into a sinkhole in Nebraska, and the Orlando Magic have a very unique collaboration coming up! Couple of dog stories this morning - A snowplow driver in New York rescued a couple of dogs that were running loose on the highway, and an old guy in Canada fell down and was rescued by his neighbor's pooch! And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a couple who were seriously injured by some antlers that fell off the wall at a Longhorn steakouse, a couple who apparently beat each other with frying pans, a woman who tried to use movie prop money to bail a friend out of jail, and a guy who was flashing people at a Denny's.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

"They tryna make me Amin Elhassan!" Dan's inner monologue is very excited to talk about some NFL media news after Tony Dungy was let go from Football Night in America. Should NBC make a run at Philip Rivers or Smokin' Jay Cutler to replace him? Zas tests how much Amin knows about that. After Tony's Kon Knueppel rookie-of-the-year take aged extremely poorly extremely fast, he gives it another go... and it ages extremely poorly extremely fast again. Learn more about your ad choices. The 2025 football season was a setback for Colorado head coach Deion Sanders. Jason explains that the “Louis experience” is failing and many are bailing on Deion. The loss of defensive coordinator Robert Livingston is the most recent setback. Steve Kim returns to discuss Deion losing key players and coaches; NBC apparently diminishing Tony Dungy's role on "Sunday Night Football"; and Cleveland Browns head coach Todd Monken on Deshaun Watson. Jay Skapinac joins Jason and Steve to discuss the mismatch between Luka Doncic and LeBron James, as well as the NBA MVP vote on the verge of losing two more front-runners because of the league's minimal game rule. Shaun King makes his weekly appearance covering everything football. Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike works for NBC and the company is making some changes to their broadcast team heading into next season, including Tony Dungy being let go. In an article today, names like Mike Tomlin, Cam Heyward and Aaron Rodgers were thrown into the mix, but Mike has no bearing to say the likelihood of that happening. Mike insisted that Tomlin still has the pick of the litter when it comes to networks and will be on TV if he wants to be. What is the latest buzz Mike is hearing from the NFL Combine? Mike has his doubts that Mike McCarthy and the Steelers are in love with Will Howard the way they say. Mike said we still don't officially know if the guaranteed money is owed to DK Metcalf following the fan incident in Detroit. Mike doesn't think it would be wise to move on from Metcalf after one season. Mike questioned Rodgers wanting to play for McCarthy after the comments he made regarding his football IQ years ago.
The Penguins get back to it tonight in their first game without Sidney Crosby following his injury in the Olympics. They are in a playoff spot and have been one of the best stories in the NHL. The Object Of The Game is a new football documentary on Prime Video, featuring insights from some of the sport's most influential voices — including Bill Belichick, Tony Romo, Mike Tomlin, Urban Meyer, Sean McVay, Tony Dungy, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, and more. This three-part docuseries explores what football demands of those who play and coach it, why the game matters so deeply, and how its values are passed down — and last. At its heart, the film follows the final season and lasting legacy of legendary high school coach Chuck "Chico" Kyle. Over four decades as a football coach and English teacher at Cleveland's Saint Ignatius High School, Kyle shaped generations of players and left a profound mark on some of the most powerful figures in the game today. Jason defines Super Bowl 60 as the worst in NFL history. A boring, one-sided game was made worse by Bud Bunny and overall lack of enthusiasm, and Maria Taylor's hosting proved every bit as atrocious as Drake Maye's play. The most intriguing aspect of the Super Bowl broadcast was the emasculation of Tony Dungy by Rodney Harrison, after Dungy failed to comment on the omission of Bill Belichick from the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Steve Kim joins the show to discuss whether the Super Bowl has peaked; Drake Maye being exposed; and Randy Moss' claim that players and coaches should be the ones casting Hall of Fame ballots. Jason and Steve wind up by talking about Deion Sanders continuing to demand that the media play the role of Luca Brasi defending his son Shedeur and Shannon Sharpe starting the process of returning to Bristol, teaming up with Stephen A. Tony Dungy is under fire after a "sanctimonious" pregame rant where he seemingly admitted to voting collusion for the NFL Hall of Fame. Craig Carton doesn't hold back, calling Dungy one of the "worst broadcasters" and praising Rodney Harrison for finally calling out Dungy's "holier than thou" attitude on live TV. Plus, the ultimate troll job: was Bill Belichick's girlfriend wearing a shirt mocking Robert Kraft's infamous massage parlor scandal at their Super Bowl party?

Steve Kim joins Jason discussing Deontay Wilder's claim that Tyson Fury cheated; Tony Dungy calling for more Pro Football Hall of Fame electees; and former teammates angered by Tom Brady saying he doesn't have a horse in the Super Bowl race featuring the New England Patriots. Lastly, Shaun King joins Jason to discuss Wilder, Clark, Budden, and Sharpe and whether Tom Brady's presence is proving positive for the Las Vegas Raiders, given that Jay Glazer says Maxx Crosby wants out. Meredith joins Ken and Anthony and they discuss Myles Garrett's appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the Cavs finally getting rid of Lonzo Ball, and Tony Dungy's comments about the HOF voting.
Arcand and Hart get into the Patriots' and Seahawks' roster and how these two would draft the players participating in Super Bowl 60. Does the numbers Drake Maye has been putting up this postseason make him slide in this hypothetical draft? Then, the Hall of Fame conversation rages on with Tony Dungy deflecting about his vote which, like Bill Polian, sounds personal. And, Tom Brady has been getting tons of blowback for not picking a dog in the fight which has everyone guessing there is resentment towards these Patriots.
Everyone has made their feelings felt about Robert Kraft joining Bill Belichick among the Hall of Fame snubs and Tony Dungy is among those who remain quiet about the voting, but everyone could guess that its personal with him and Bill Polian.

On today's episode of “Fearless,” Jason explains how the NFL accomplished the impossible: overshadowing the Super Bowl. From the selection of Bad Bunny as the halftime entertainment to the inexplicable Hall of Fame exclusion of Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft to Shedeur Sanders' inclusion in the Pro Bowl, along with the sham of a Pro Bowl game as a promotion for the league's flag football initiative, the Super Bowl has become a mere sideshow at the NFL Circus. Shedeur Sanders, claiming he's capable of dominating, has become the “Jake Paul” in this era of streaming services. Simply stated, Jason says the NFL doesn't have any respect for the game it governs. Steve Kim will join the show to discuss Shedeur Sanders, Tom Brady's first-ballot Hall of Fame concerns, and Tony Dungy declining to answer Hall of Fame questions. Mike DeCourcy joins to explain that Ken Anderson, L.C. Greenwood, and Roger Craig should be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Joe Milton at Radio Row yesterday said that he felt disrespected during his time on the Patriots. The Lead includes if the Celtics are preparing for a return for Jayson Tatum or are they just dumping money? Tony Dungy seems to be hiding his vote for Belichick and Kraft, an NFL game will be played in Australia, and would you rather take Drake Maye or Patrick Mahomes right now?
The Lead asks after the Celtics traded away Anfernee Simons to the Bulls for Nikola Vucevic, could this mean that the Celtics are preparing for the return of Jayson Tatum? And why does Tony Dungy refuse to comment of the Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft situation?

Craig Carton unloads on Tony Dungy in a fiery Carton Show rant after Dungy dodges questions about his Hall of Fame vote on Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft. Craig and Chris “Big Mac” McMonigle question why Dungy is treated as football's moral authority, why NBC keeps forcing him on TV, and why he refuses to stand behind his decisions as a Hall of Fame voter. The segment spirals into classic Carton chaos with Jets pain, media hypocrisy, Hall of Fame politics, Rangers trade talk, and one of Craig's most unfiltered monologues yet. Vintage WFAN radio at its most raw.
Craig Carton and Chris McMonigle dive deep into the heated debate over Tony Dungy's Hall of Fame status. Was Dungy really a Hall of Famer based on coaching skill, or did his groundbreaking role as the first Black coach to win a Super Bowl seal the deal? Plus, they break down how the Hall of Fame has been watered down over the years and why some legends like Bill Belichick still deserve more respect. This episode gets REAL about what it takes to earn that Hall of Fame ring. Don't miss the fiery opinions, fan calls, and surprising takes only on The Carton Show!

Jim Marshall presents guest Rondé Barber, highlighting his NFL legacy, leadership roles, and focus on preparation, consistency, adaptability, and professionalism. Chapter 2: Early Struggles and the Mindset Shift 00:01:59 – 00:05:41 Barber recounts a rocky NFL start, playing only one game his rookie season, and the doubt that fueled his drive. He connects lessons from redshirting in college and overcoming setbacks to a career-long mentality of outworking everyone and relentlessly improving. Chapter 3: Availability, Durability, and Discipline 00:05:41 – 00:08:38 Discussing his 215 consecutive starts, Barber cites "availability" as a critical ability, playing through pain, smart recovery modalities, and some luck in avoiding major injuries. He underscores the discipline to maintain routines and the motivation to never let someone else take his job. Chapter 4: Building Performance Routines and Incremental Gains 00:08:38 – 00:11:00 Barber outlines a philosophy that you are either getting better or worse each day. He describes daily incremental improvement—refining techniques, studying opponents, and analyzing himself—as a transferable approach for business professionals and even his daughters' pursuits. Chapter 5: Preparation = Opportunity 00:11:00 – 00:13:49 Barber explains how preparation creates the appearance of effortlessness, framing success as preparation married to opportunity. He applies this to broadcasting and event leadership: anticipate scenarios, study past outcomes, plan for contingencies, and be ready to execute. Chapter 6: Learning Broadcasting Through Reps and Mentorship 00:13:49 – 00:16:08 Transitioning to TV felt like being thrown into the deep end. Barber credits mentors like Dick Stockton, Chris Myers, and Kenny Albert for refining cadence and content. He emphasizes "time on task"—repetition, feedback, and reviewing successes and failures. Chapter 7: Opponent-Specific Prep and Strategic Familiarity 00:16:08 – 00:18:21 Using the Eagles as a case study, Barber shows how repeated matchups build a "dossier" for faster, deeper preparation. He leveraged familiarity to stay a step ahead, turning knowledge of how opponents targeted him into an advantage and producing standout performances. Chapter 8: Redefining the Nickel and Evolving the Tampa 2 Defense 00:18:21 – 00:22:19 Barber details how his agility and short-area quickness enabled expanding the nickel role from coverage to blitzing and run support, paralleling a linebacker at times. Collaborating with coaches, he helped evolve the Tampa 2 Defense into a widely emulated standard. Chapter 9: Culture of Earned Leadership 00:22:19 – 00:25:03 Reflecting on a roster of leaders, Barber highlights Hardy Nickerson's example and the team ethos: lead by example first, then grow vocally with experience. Leadership is earned through time, consistency, and relentless attention to detail. Chapter 10: Tony Dungy's Influence and Consistent Leadership 00:25:03 – 00:27:11 Barber praises Dungy's calm, consistent, and humane leadership, noting life lessons beyond football. Dungy's emphasis on community, family, and philanthropy shaped players' post-career success and instilled humble confidence. Chapter 11: The Role of Coaching and Unified Execution 00:27:11 – 00:28:48 Coaches provide the plan and alignment. Barber stresses the importance of everyone executing the same call—even if imperfect—because unity drives results. Coaching is the vessel that moves teams collectively toward goals. Chapter 12: Transitioning After Football 00:28:48 – 00:31:16 Barber credits his twin brother and peers like John Lynch for guiding his post-career path into broadcasting and business. He cautions that NFL careers are short, advocates planning for what's next, and notes his "Plan A or bust" focus until retirement opened new doors. Chapter 13: Values: Humility, Resilience, and No Excuses 00:31:16 – 00:33:52 Personal values—authenticity, humility, and resilience—anchor Barber's approach. He honors his mother's example in overcoming adversity and reiterates a locker-room mantra: no excuses, no explanations, maintaining competence through challenges. Chapter 14: Mentoring for Greatness 00:33:52 – 00:36:37 Barber illustrates the difference between good and great with a story about mentoring Aqib Talib. By pulling Talib into extra study and routines, he models the "extra mile" required for elite performance, just as veterans once did for him. Chapter 15: Valspar Championship and Community Impact 00:36:37 – 00:39:29 Barber promotes the Valspar Championship's community footprint, volunteer network, and charitable giving surpassing $53 million over 50 years. He highlights strong sponsorship, player affinity for the venue, and the sales efforts of "Copperheads" that power the event. Chapter 16: Key Takeaways and Closing 00:39:29 – 00:40:11 The episode closes with three actionable themes for business: preparation builds confidence, consistency separates performers, and adaptability enables reinvention. Barber adds that being uncommon—pursuing unique, sometimes unconventional paths—drives best-in-class results.
