It's Ticked Off Tuesday!! We are diving deep into your annoyances and frustrations. This is the internet's only place where every complaint—no matter how trivial—is met with enthusiastic agreement, validation, and a healthy dose of humor!! Today, Jared's got his own set of grievances that'll hit home. First up, a travel gripe about high-end hotels like the Ritz-Carlton in St. Louis—charging over $700 a night for a stay that he feels isn't worth the price. Jared breaks down why the Four Seasons offers a better experience for a lower price, leaving him baffled at how the Ritz could justify such a premium. Next, Jared shares his struggle with finding workout shirts that fit right. His trips to Lululemon often lead to shirts that are either too tight in the chest or unflatteringly long. He's on the hunt for a shirt that hits the sweet spot without feeling like a cropped gym top or a baggy mess. Then, there's the mystery encounter with a woman at Lululemon who wanted to trade her $100 gift card for cash. Jared found himself suspicious, trying to assess if this was a grift or an earnest offer. He dives into his thought process, balancing his natural skepticism with the desire to believe in others' good intentions. Transitioning to the listener-submitted grievances

John Kanell is beloved for his aspirational lifestyle and food recipes that feed the eye first. As his kids get older and life gets busier, John recognizes the need that all busy families have for food that is at once practical to prepare and delicious. < Preppy Kitchen Super Easy was born of that need. He's created a cookbook of simple dishes that feel special. With particular attention to variations for nearly every recipe, John makes it easy to prepare any dish at any time. Ran out of mayo? Use sour cream in the Ranch and Feta Dip. Need to use up those tomatoes and peppers before they go to waste? Swap 'em for the cukes in the Wild Rice Salad. In each recipe, John breaks down instructions with simple steps, streamlines ingredient lists, and gives dozens of ideas for riffs and make-aheads. John explains how easy it is to vary vessels with a single recipe: a quick bread or cake can bake in a muffin tin, a baking dish, or a cake pan; pancake batter is good for a waffle maker or a griddle. He leans into a small cache of hands-off appliances such as the Instant PotT and air fryer. And, best of all, he's developed recipes you can make once and eat all week, along with dressings and spreads that morph from snack-time dip to salad accompaniment to just-add-a-protein main dish. Recipes include: -Breakfast: Breakfast in a Cup, Breakfast Burritos, "Ice Cream" Overnight Oats-Main dishes with hands-off cook time: Skillet Steak with Garlic-Herb Butter, Cream Cheese and Caraway-Stuffed Salmon, and Crispy Orange-Glazed Chicken Strips-Easy sides to elevate the simplest of main dishes: Browned Butter and Garlic Mashed Potatoes-Favorite snacks and small bites for grazing throughout the day: Bruschetta Dip, Grape and Tarragon Chicken Salad, Mango and Radish Shrimp Ceviche-Quick and easy delicious desserts: Brian's Favorite Chocolate Cake, Slice and Bake Shortbread Cookies, and Chocolate Chunk Pecan Pie BarsBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-unplugged-totally-uncut--994165/support.

Everyone experiences rejection at one point or another. The best place to go for that is the deli. Tears go better with deli food, especially bagels and cream cheese. Just smear a lot of cream cheese on a bagel and enjoy it, then cry your heart out. You'll feel better after that. Trust me. Have I ever lied to you? I'm certain that all of you LOVE a cup of tea or coffee in the morning, and our first guest is brewing up a great start to your day with her business, The Rose Room Cafe. The coffee and baked goods come with a lot of love, as Jess Sabine and her staff make freshly-baked pastries and other foods from scratch to accompany your cup-o-joe (or tea). The love doesn't end there--The Rose Room Cafe has created a space for the community to get together, hosting events which include first Fridays, private parties, and so much more! So, if this sounds like your cup of tea ;) then make The Rose Room Cafe part of your next destination! (https://www.theroseroomcafe.com)From Coffee to Bagels...I chat with Managing Partner of Bagels & Co., Mike Marsh. Mike is very invested in what Bagels & Co. has to offer, including the lengthy list of cream cheeses crafted to compliment their abundantly large bagels of your dreams. New York arguably has the best bagels this side of the world, but theirs can give New Yorkers a run for their money, since they modeled their bagels to be just like that. Now, add the fact that every bagel is lovingly seasoned -- on all sides of them -- theirs rises above the rest. Now, that fact is something I can attest to! (https://www.thebagelsandco.com)Speaking of taking a bite out of something...Shelby Fahrni, who owns The Cooking Studio located in Telford, PA, began her culinary journey at the ripe old age of 4. Yes, you read that correctly. At 4 years old the culinary bug bit her and she's been cooking ever since. And something she's resumed since then is to teach others how to create delicious meals at home from scratch. Of course you'll need to take one of her classes first, and come hungry because after all that learning you and your classmates can sit down to enjoy your creations family-style! So if you're looking for something fun to do as a family, with friends, or even go solo--check out The Cooking Studio! (https://lecookingstudio.com)

Ashley, Lauren, and Naz are back with a classic ramble. They're talking about how the simplest wardrobe changes can reignite the spark, wondering why standardized testing is the only time school cared about what you had for breakfast, and waxing philosophical about how men watch (or don't watch) our social media. There's also a ton of pop culture to catch up on, like those Kylie baby rumors, Baby Reindeer, and of course, The Tortured Poets Department. Plus a whole lot more. We pack a lot into this episode.Listen to more podcasts like this: https://wavepodcastnetwork.comGet 20% OFF @honeylove by going to honeylove.com/GETIT! #honeylovepodWhat don't you get?
