The Ending Scene With Jacaerys (Jace) & his Dragon Vermax Is So Game Of Thrones... House of the Dragon Season 3 Premiere Reaction, as HBO's epic fantasy series returns with dragons, betrayal, political intrigue, and one of the most devastating battles in the history of the Dance of the Dragons. Hosted by Greg Alba, John Humphrey, & Michael Tessler Limited Time Offer – You Need Fiber. Yes you! Boost your fiber with Huel today using my exclusive offer of 15% OFF online with my code REJECTS at https://www.huel.com/REJECTS. New Customers Only. Thank you to Huel for partnering and supporting our show! Featuring dragons clashing above burning fleets, devastating losses at sea, and a tragic ending that reshapes the future of House Targaryen, the episode delivers one of the most shocking and emotionally devastating battles the franchise has ever put to screen. Picking up in the aftermath of Season 2, the episode follows Rhaena Targaryen (Phoebe Campbell — The Last Dragonslayer, Midsomer Murders) as she finally encounters the mysterious wild dragon she has been pursuing, leading to a breathtaking and dangerous first flight that could dramatically alter the balance of power. Meanwhile, King Aegon II Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney — The King, Dunkirk), still scarred from the events of Rook's Rest, flees with Larys Strong (Matthew Needham — The Ritual, Sanditon) to evade the growing threat posed by his increasingly volatile brother, Prince Aemond Targaryen (Ewan Mitchell — The Last Kingdom, World on Fire), who continues consolidating power in King's Landing. At Dragonstone, Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy — Truth Seekers, Mothering Sunday) prepares to challenge the Triarchy's growing naval threat, while Jacaerys Velaryon (Harry Collett — Dunkirk, Dolittle) attempts to prove himself as a leader by stepping into a role normally reserved for his mother. Alongside Baela Targaryen (Bethany Antonia — Stay Close, Get Even), Jace takes to the skies in one of the episode's most ambitious action sequences. Elsewhere, Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith — Doctor Who, The Crown) secures a crucial alliance with northern forces, strengthening Queen Rhaenyra's position as the realm edges closer to all-out war. The premiere culminates in a massive naval conflict between Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint — Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, It's a Sin), Alyn of Hull (Abubakar Salim — Raised by Wolves, Assassin's Creed Origins), and the forces of the Triarchy led by Sharako Lohar. Update on our week: Andy and Daniel discuss the Chicago White Sox and their hesitation to sign a new player in Munetaka Murakami despite him having scored over 10 home runs, with 4 being in one game alone. Here is to hoping for a continued good season for the local ball team. Andy brings up the current JP Morgan lawsuit involving alleged sexual harassment in the workplace. The guys give their take on how this is becoming more common in the workplace often involving the wealthy and people in positions of power. Daniel beats Assassin's Creed Origins on the PS5, and unfortunately, he did not enjoy it as much as other games within the AC franchise. Noel talks about having beat the 1st game and looking forward to a early sequels, but he has avoided some of the more recent offerings, as they have not been so well received. Daniel has finally joined the PC Gaming community and started out his gaming journey with GTA IV, using mods that really enhance the look and feel of the game, updating the quality for the modern audience. Andy and Daniel talk about CM Punk being involved in another incident where 911 emergency services were called. CM Punk pushed an apparent fan who was asking for an autograph which prompted the fan to call the police to press charges against CM Punk. Noel talks about the new Resident Evil movie teaser trailer and the guys discuss how the previous adaptations have not panned out and the hope for this to be a fresh new start to a better showing for the RE franchise on film. Noel gives an in-depth review of the new horror movie Hokum, a creepy supernatural movie set in Ireland. The horror movies of 2026 have not disappointed and this newest showing keeps the momentum going. The Ides of March is the best-known date in the ancient world, thanks to one of the most infamous acts in history: the assassination of Gaius Julius Caesar. Assassin's Creed Origins portrays Caesar at the peak of his powers, who was shockingly assassinated by a gang of Senators, including his most loyal friends and followers, like Brutus. What had Caesar done to deserve this? Who stabbed him first? And how did the assassins' plan to save the Roman Republic ultimately lead to the creation of the Roman Empire?Prof. Colin Elliot from Indiana University Bloomington, host of the Pax Romana podcast, joins Matt Lewis to reveal the true events of that fateful day. Alors, comment faire ? Bonne écoute !

The franchise heads to ancient Egypt! This assassin sure does have a lot of creeds! There are so many, in fact, that the publisher gave up on numbering them. This particular entry is considered an action RPG and was developed by Ubisoft Montreal, though (to be fair) several of her sister studios had their hands in development as well. With a massive open environment to explore and tons of side missions to complete, our hosts will only just scratch the surface of its many offerings in their allocated hour. Will the first hour of the game showcase enough to get Tom and Chris invested in experiencing the rest? Tune in and find out if they think this slayer's doctrine is one worth following! It's been long and arduous road to something resembling a worthy adaptation of Frank "dirty" Herbert's sand-based epic Dune, but with the recent release of Denis Villeneuve's Dune 2, we can safely call that one done. I just hope we get enough sequels for the films to start covering such nonsense as half-worm emperors and chair dogs. Aside from the various video game adaptations of Dune - from classic RTS games to modern upcoming survival games - there have been plenty of games that effectively use the desolation and devastation of desert sand. Who can forget the arresting third act of Uncharted 3, or the Tatooine section of KOTOR, or the grand majesty of Assassin's Creed Origins, with its ambitious recreation of sun-drenched North Africa? But which sandy game is the best one, according to our lovely panel? If Alex Donaldson was in this episode, he'd have picked Fifty Cent: Blood on the Sand, but he isn't. For the first time, Ubisoft have released a Prince of Persia game with an option to have all the characters fully voiced in Farsi. It says it wants Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown to "depict and respect Persia and Iran". The game has great reviews and a lot of Iranian fans are very excited they'll be able to experience it in their own language. What does this say about culturally sensitivity in gaming? We hear from Alireza Vasefi, an Iranian games reporter for BBC Persian Click, who's played the series for years. He explains what the language option means to him. We're also joined by Kirsty Evers who wrote a study about gaming cultural stereotypes. She found that a majority of her participants wanted to see better representation. Plus, what's it like to help accurately map a historical place for a videogame? Renowned French archaeologist, Egyptologist and historical illustrator Jean-Claude Golvin helped do this for Assassin's Creed: Origins. He talks us through the process.
