Dr. Christopher Kerr is an end life researcher, a hospice physician, CEO and Chief Medical Officer for Hospice and Palliative Care in Buffalo, NY, and the acclaimed author of Death is But a Dream. He provided hospice care for Matt Moran and his family in August, 2023. His extraordinary care and guidance was impactful and comforting for the family in the moment and in the grieving process that followed. As Matt would certainly would have wished and how he so often did with this podcast, we are passing along the lessons and spreading the good word about Dr. Kerr.Dr. Kerr's work, his research, book, and films are based on his experience and research working with hospice patients and seeing the extraordinary way the mind connects reality to the thoughts, visions and dreams of the dying. "I See Dead People... Walking around like regular people! They don't know that they are dead!" In this episode we continue with our Halloween series and explore the paranormal. Reports of supernatural experiences in hospitals by nurses and doctors are often presented as Anomalous/Paranormal Experiences (APE) and will include apparitions, odd coincidences, death-bed visions and other anomalous phenomena. Some visions appear to be dead relatives of patients who have come to assist dying patients and give comfort to them through the dying process. But are these healthcare professionals hallucinating or suffering from burn out? Dr. Terence Palmer, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and a member of the Scientific and Medical Network and the Society for Psychical Research, joins us to share his scientific research. Dr Palmer has been trained in hypnotherapy by the Proudfoot School of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy and the Royal Society of Medicine and has a diploma in medical hypnosis from the London College of Clinical Hypnosis. Dr Palmer has been a spirit release practitioner since 2003 and his doctorate was awarded for his research on the scientific study of spirit possession. His thesis is published as The Science of Spirit Possession 2nd edition. Chat Near Death Experience (NDE) Angie Ruiz chat with Rudi Rudinski I am a twin and I am actually the older one but only for a minute. I was born with a tumor that wraps around my heart and is wrap around my left lung. Several, times in childhood I had NDE and OOB's. The thing that gets me is “Why am I still here?" At times this question plagues me but I know and hold faith it is for a reason greater than my understanding. As sit here I type one handed due to a decisions I made years ago in no longer wanting to be physically in pain. I was surrounded by love from my family and doctors as well as nurses for many years in hopes that my left arm would get better. With years of medication such as antibiotics I was able to survive. My heart feels heavy when thinking about what waits for me and what I have seen.I have been able to see the dead since I was a child and always knew the angels were with me, perhaps b/c I saw them; not perhaps Because I saw them when I was in a comma, OOB and NDE. These things have been a major contributing factor in keeping faith that God is with me. Through all the times I was sick I was prayed for and I always came back like David said( my personal guardian angel) " You are a powerful light worker and God needs you here to make a difference and bring up the energy back to where Mother Earth came from.
