For his Roaming St. Louis segment this week, KMOX host Scott Jagow dropped in at the Latte Lounge and HG eatery downtown. It's one of the business's three locations (Florissant and Ferguson). Scott sits down with co-owner Nyshaun Harvey (pronounced knee-shawn) to talk about the coffee shop's signature Latte flights, their down-home haute cuisine, her career as an entrepreneur at 26 and her company's impact in communities like Ferguson.
Nyshaun Harvey developed a love of coffee at a young age. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to open up her first coffee shop in 2020, now just a few years later the 26 year old has three shops. The original Latte Lounge in Florissant just underwent a remodel and her other two locations, one in Downtown St. Louis and the other in Ferguson are bringing the viral latte flights to a large audience. In this week's episode we talk about opening up three businesses in three years, the power of social media and the importance of family when taking on an endeavor like this.

Too often women living with disability are left out of the menopause and midlife women's health conversations, and as a result put their symptoms down to pre existing health conditions, not realising that they could be entering perimenopause or menopause. In this episode, I'll be talking to Emma Livingstone about navigating the menopause with a disability. Emma Livingstone was born with cerebral palsy and had to give up work having seen a significant decline in her mobility in recent years, leading to several surgeries. It was her frustration at the lack of knowledge and understanding of cerebral palsy as a disability affecting adults that spurred her on to begin campaigning. And she founded Up, the adult cerebral palsy movement, to campaign for better support and services and give a voice to the adult cerebral palsy community. In this episode: 01:46 Why Emma founded Up 08:09 The impact of aging on Emma's health 12:56 Experiences of the CP community with menopause 21:48 Untangling diagnoses 25:43 Recognising CP as an adult condition About The Latte Lounge: This episode of the Latte Lounge podcast was presented by Katie Taylor from The Latte Lounge: https://www.lattelounge.co.uk/ We help women over 40 navigate perimenopause, menopause and midlife with confidence! Your pelvic floor is an incredibly important part of the body that very often doesn't get the attention it deserves. Incontinence, painful sex and constipation are all embarrassing symptoms of a weak pelvic floor. But on occasion, poor pelvic floor health can result in more serious issues such as prolapse. All of these issues are extremely common, particularly after pregnancy and childbirth. And they're absolutely treatable, but aren't openly discussed often enough. And many women suffer unnecessarily in silence rather than seek help. So I'm delighted to be able to speak today to author pelvic floor specialist and creator of the ABS system Kim Vopni. Kim Vopni is a speaker and women's health educator known as the Vagina Coach. She is a certified fitness professional who became passionate about spreading information on pelvic health when she was pregnant with her first child. Why is resistance training so important as we age, and how can we fit it into our busy lives? In today's episode, I'm talking to personal trainer Kate Oakley, about how we can increase strength and protect our bones and joints and midlife, as well as finding ways to fit it into our day. Even if you only have five minutes to spare, we'll find out how the right kind of training can do more than just help you get through the challenges that come with menopause, but also be empowering and totally change your outlook on life. Kate Oakley is the founder of Your Future Fit. She's always loved fitness and training, but it was a passion. She only turned into a career at the age of 50, after a 25 year career in HR, to help peri and postmenopausal women who are going through similar challenges to her. As a fully qualified personal trainer, Kate focuses on encouraging women to start with small habit changes to their exercise, gradually building up the consistency that is sustainable for the future. Bone health and osteoporosis is often one of those forgotten symptoms of menopause. It's very easy for us to focus on the symptoms that are troubling us in the here and now like hot flushes or sleep issues or brain fog. And I totally get that we might not be in a place to give much thought to some of those longer term symptoms, and the ones you can't feel or see straight away like our bone health. So this episode is all about taking half an hour or so to give you the essentials on bone health and osteoporosis, so you know exactly what it's all about, and how we can reduce our risk of getting osteoporosis with some really practical tips. *LIVE* recording from The Mind, Body, Spirit Festival, London Katie Taylor is the founder and CEO of The Latte Lounge, an online platform for women over 40, which exists to help women in midlife thrive at home and in the workplace. Katie founded The Latte lounge in 2016 after suffering for 4 years with misdiagnosed symptoms of perimenopause. Her community now supports more than 50,000 women with evidence-based information about women's health. In this chat, Katie tells us her story of her misdiagnosis of the peri-menopause and how that lead her to create The Latte Lounge.
Is it possible to slow down ageing? And how can we give ourselves the best possible chance to live a long and healthy life? That's the topic I discuss in this episode with TEDx speaker, GP, lifestyle doctor and coach Dr. Alka Patel. I first met Dr Alka two years ago when I interviewed her for our first ever Midlife Festival. What stuck with me is her mantra that our health is a ‘skill' - she explained to me that health is not something we're just given, it's something we have to work at. Join me as we dive into that more closely and hear Dr Alka's tips for how we can all make compassionate lifestyle changes for a happy, healthy and long life. In this episode, I'm going to be talking to menopause expert Dr. Emma Ping. The perimenopause and menopause can be a very turbulent time particularly for women with ADHD. We'll be talking about how the symptoms of ADHD can be exacerbated by fluctuating hormones and why so many women are diagnosed in midlife. Dr. Emma Ping is passionate about offering women holistic, evidence based advice and support. She's a member of the British Menopause Society and International Menopause Society, and as a midlife woman herself has experienced symptoms of the perimenopause. She appreciates what a positive difference good advice and treatments can make to how you feel about your quality of life. Dr. Ping has a special interest in ADHD, particularly in women and how hormones influence symptoms. She works at Menopause Care with Dr. Naomi Potter. 2:20 What is ADHD? 6:22 Signs of ADHD in women 9:30 ADHD and the menopause 14:28 Getting a diagnosis 21:06 Treatment options 26:43 Talking to family and friends about your diagnosis About The Latte Lounge: This episode of the Latte Lounge podcast was presented by Katie Taylor from The Latte Lounge. I want to use this episode to help you understand more about how you can get the right diagnosis for you, plus the range of treatment options including standard pain relief and lifestyle measures, and when to know when it's time to seek more specialist help. Professor Tahir is an award winning specialist in rheumatology, sports medicine and general medicine. In this episode,I'm going to be talking to food coach and menopause expert Meera Bhogal, about how we can all cook our way to a happier menopause. We'll be talking about how many women can develop in midlife or discover they were suffering for years before with allergies and food intolerances, which can affect your quality of life during midlife and menopause. We'll also be discussing how through Meera's own personal journey with food allergies, she created a brand new healthy and nutrition rich food brand. Meera Bhogal is the founder of the healthy food brand Meera's Made From Scratch, which she created after realising that much of the gluten and dairy free food she needed to eat contained far too much sugar. She's hugely passionate about raising awareness of menopause, especially within South Asian communities where it's often not spoken about openly. 02:29 Meera's story 12:03 Building a food brand 19:13 Eating out with food intolerances 23:15 Easy cooking 26:55 Menopause and the South Asian community About The Latte Lounge: This episode of the Latte Lounge podcast was presented by Katie Taylor from The Latte Lounge. In this episode, I'm going to be talking to yoga instructor, author and founder of Menopause Yoga Petra Coveney about how yoga can help with the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. Yoga is now recommended by the NHS as there is evidence that it can help us manage mood swings, low mood and anxiety during menopause. So I wanted to speak to Petra to find out more about these amazing benefits and just why yoga is such a special practice. If you've never tried yoga before, or if you're a regular, I encourage you to listen to this fascinating conversation as Petra takes us through how we can incorporate yoga into our regular activity and the sorts of yoga poses that are going to be most beneficial for our symptoms. Petra Coveney is the author of Menopause Yoga: A holistic guide to supporting women on their menopause journey and a member of the British Medical Society. She created Menopause Yoga and Wellbeing back in 2011, following her own difficult experiences of the perimenopause and based on years of research into yoga, nutrition, HRT herbal remedies, acupuncture, and much more to help her to alleviate painful and disruptive symptoms. 04:05 The benefits of yoga 5:52 What's different about menopause yoga? 11:11 Bone desity and strength training 16:35 How to start as a complete beginner 19:46 Incorporating yoga into your busy life 24:09 Yoga and energy 26:48 Yoga and sexual health 29:41 Osteoporosis About The Latte Lounge: This episode of the Latte Lounge podcast was presented by Katie Taylor from The Latte Lounge. In this episode I'm excited to welcome back to the podcast Neurologist Professor Guy Leschziner. During my last conversation with Professor Leschziner, we looked at sleep issues during midlife and menopause, and this time we'll be taking a deep dive into the female brain, and the impact of our hormones lifestyle and environment on our brain health. I want to find out why so many of us midlife women often complain of developing symptoms, such as brain fog, headaches and migraines during this time of our lives. And stay tuned as we'll also be examining the latest research and evidence on how to protect our brain health and potentially reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer's and dementia, in midlife menopause and beyond. Professor Guy Leschziner is a consultant neurologist and a Professor of Neurology and Sleep Medicine at King's College London. He is a published author with ongoing research interests in sleep disorders, including restless leg syndrome, and he's presented two series on the brain and sleep for BBC Radio. And you may also recognise him from The Secrets of Sleep on Channel 4. 2:00 Brain fog 5:47 Dementia 11:00 Lifestyle and brain health 15:30 Migraines About The Latte Lounge: This episode of the Latte Lounge podcast was presented by Katie Taylor from The Latte Lounge. In this episode, I'm delighted to be joined by celebrity hairdresser Michael Douglas. So many women experience hair loss and hair thinning during our midlife years and during menopause, which I know can really impact on self esteem. So this episode is an important conversation to have. We're going to be discussing what changes happen to our hair as we age and get Michael's expert advice on how to best protect, cut and style our hair. We'll also be discussing the treatment options that will and won't work to save us all wasting valuable time and money on products that don't make a difference and could even make things worse. You may have seen Michael on TVs This Morning, GMB or on The One Show over the years, or perhaps listened to him on his podcast making the cut, which he co hosts with his partner, TV presenter and menopause campaigner Davina McCall. Michael is on a mission to use his 30 years of experience to demystify the world of hair styling for women, empowering them with the tools, knowledge and confidence to style their hair quickly and without fast or hours spent in the salon. In this episode 01:47 How does hair change in midlife? 4:00 Is hair loss inevitable? 9:00 Seeking professional help 12:00 Do products help? 15:08 Cuts and styling 18:01 Hair extensions 22:08 Going grey and embracing the grey 27:35 Dying hair 30:35 Talking about the menopause About The Latte Lounge: This episode of the Latte Lounge podcast was presented by Katie Taylor from The Latte Lounge. From the very first stages of planning this podcast over a year ago, there was one person I knew I had to interview. Professor Michael Baum is a British surgical oncologist who has dedicated his career to caring for women with breast cancer, and was honoured with the St Gallen Lifetime Achievement Award for the treatment of breast cancer in 2007, and the gold medal of the International College of Surgeons. During his career Professor Baum had a key influence on how breast cancer is now treated and manage co developing pioneering treatments, including one that replaces weeks of long treatment with just one shot of radiotherapy in a single 20 to 30 minute hospital visit. He is quite simply an inspiration in the world of women's health. And for regulars of the Latte Lounge, you'll also know that I'm lucky enough to call this wonderful man, my dad, and he's part of the reason I created the Latte Lounge. In this episode we're going to be exploring breast cancer and midlife and just how common it is looking at the latest treatment options, and how menopausal symptoms can impact recovery. Professor Baum is going to share his vast experience with us and explain how diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer has evolved over the years and just why he's optimistic about the future of breast cancer research. In this episode, I'm going to be talking to life coach and Olympian Michelle Griffiths Robinson. I first interviewed Michelle for the midlife Festival in 2021, all about self belief and confidence. And honestly, it was such an inspiring conversation that I knew I just had to have her back for this podcast. Michelle represented Great Britain for two decades as a triple jumper competing at the highest level, including at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. She was the first woman to jump over 14 metres in the Commonwealth. Since then, she has combined her passion for fitness and personal growth and is now a coach and mentor for individuals and organisations. Today, we're going to be chatting all about positive mindset in midlife, how to avoid the comparison trap, how to get yourself out of a rut and feeling great about yourself, and what self care really means for us busy women. I promise you by the end of this conversation, when Michelle, you're going to feel energised, empowered, and excited about the possibilities in life. In this episode, we're talking about relationships. And I'm so pleased to be joined by fitness coach and presenter Marvin Ambrosius and his wife, Stephanie, an experienced individual and relationship therapist. With the average age of divorce in this country being 45 to 55, we're going to be exploring all of the challenges that come with relationships in midlife, and tips on how to navigate through these to build stronger relationships with our loved ones. From the impact of perimenopause and menopause, on relationships, how to prioritise the relationship amongst the juggle of work, and parents and kids, as well as through life. And we'll also be looking at how men and women approach this phase of life differently, and why communication really is key. Stephanie is a relationship therapist with over 14 years of experience. After growing up in an environment where marriage appeared to be very hard work, Stephanie became motivated to want to help people to find happiness, both within themselves and also with their partners. She currently works with individual adults and couples at all stages of relationship. Joining Stephanie is her husband, personal trainer and fitness presenter Marvin Ambrosius. You may know Marvin from the hit ITV television series, Eat Shop Save, and Sky TVs Fit in Five series. It was his own personal battle with losing weight that inspired him to help individuals with limited time in their day to still be able to work out and move closer towards their fitness goals. In this episode, I talk to menopause clinician, author and podcaster Dr. Heather Hirsch, about the role of testosterone for women, especially in midlife, often misunderstood as just a male hormone. Testosterone can actually be the missing piece of the puzzle when it comes to our perimenopause and menopause symptoms. We'll be talking about what we need it for, how and why we lose it, how it can help with boosting libido, brain clarity and energy levels too, but also why it may not be right for everyone. And we'll also find out why it's hard to get it prescribed in the UK right now. Dr. Hirsch is an internal medicine physician specialising in women's health and menopause care at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, USA. Her clinical work and research centres on inequalities or unanswered questions in the field of women's health, specifically menopause education, and she aims to help women experiencing symptoms of perimenopause and menopause to thrive in midlife. In this episode 2:09 What is testosterone and why do women need it? 4:07 Where is testosterone made? 6:45 What happens to testosterone levels in women during menopause? 10:01 How do you receive testosterone if you need it? 14:08 Side effects and span of treatment 17:39 Problems in accessing testosterone 23:39 Inequalities in women's healthcare About The Latte Lounge: This episode of the Latte Lounge podcast was presented by Katie Taylor from The Latte Lounge. I'm so pleased to share my conversation with Katie Taylor, the founder of the Latte Lounge, an online platform to help women over 40 thrive, at home and in the workplace. This is the perfect bookend to last week's episode, with Katie sharing a very raw and honest account of her experience of perimenopause and menopause. In this episode, Katie shares: How she was misdiagnosed with depressionThe shocking moment that coincided with the start of her perimenopause journeyHow she was finally told that she was experiencing perimenopausal symptoms after being dismissed and made to feel like a hypochondriacHow she used her experiences to help other perimenopausal and menopausal women feel less alone And of course, the story of her first period! Katie says that it's important not to be scared or afraid of perimenopause and menopause! Thank you, Katie! If you are in your late 30's or 40's feeling like your health went from 0 to 60 in the wrong direction and you are not sure why, then you'll want to listen to today's episode. I sit with entrepreneur, founder and CEO of The Latte Lounge, Katie Taylor, as she discusses her personal perimenopausal passage. Katie shares how it took years of misdiagnosis, trial-and-error and many a conversation to finally uncover what a cluster of seemingly unrelated symptoms all meant. Once she had her answer, she leapt to Facebook seeking to connect with other women carrying a similar narrative. A Facebook group developed simply to share her personal chronicles and aid others, has grown into what is now The Latte Lounge; an online platform for women over 40, which exists to help women in midlife thrive at home and in the workplace. Her community now supports more than 40,000 women with evidence-based information about women's health, backed by a medical advisory team. It is a confidential space for midlife women to connect online and gain access and signposting to a range of health and wellbeing experts. The Latte Lounge also hosts a variety of events, including a hero event ‘The Midlife Festival', which in 2021 saw more than 4,500 women register to join. Katie has a special interest in perimenopause & menopause support in the workplace and offers events, training, policy/guideline writing and a consultancy service for organizations who want to improve menopause support at work. --- SHOW NOTES The Latte Lounge Membership - includes masterclasses with industry experts, Q&A with Katie and connection into a community of women like yourself. https://www.lattelounge.co.uk/ Series 2 of The Latte Lounge Podcast launched this month! https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-latte-lounge-podcast/id1626848207 Free Downloadable Perimenopausal Checklist https://www.lattelounge.co.uk/the-34-symptoms-of-perimenopause-and-menopause-symptom-checker/ Connect with Katie and her team at The Latte Lounge https://www.lattelounge.co.uk/get-in-touch/ Book Recommendation: Estrogen Matters by Dr. Avrum Bluming --- CONNECT WITH KRISTINA Bring your questions, share your stories, or work with Kristina: KRISTINA@ANDTHENBEWELL.COM INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/kristinaborseti --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/andthenbewell/support

Do you ever wonder why there's so much talk of HRT these days? A few weeks ago I posted a reel at my distain for the amount of HRT 'pushing' I was seeing on social media but after my conversation with Katie Taylor, now I know why that is. It's because the pendulum needed to swing so far the other way.The immense fear of HRT caused by the flawed WHI study meant that women's medical health has been paralysed. And the force with which my guest (and others in her field) have had to fight, has literally swung the pendulum the other way. Go them! It needed to happen to mobilise women's health care. My guest today, Katie Taylor, is a fighting spirit among the campaigning community to make menopause matter. She's the CEO of the Latte Lounge (a free Facebook community and low cost private membership) and the organiser of The Midlife Festival. In our conversation today we covered: ✅ The increasing popularity of menopause as a conversational piece.✅ The importance of evidence based information.✅ Coping with the limited amount of GP appointments available. ✅ When HRT is the only answer.✅ Why so many women are resistant to HRT.✅ Why 'put up and shut up' is no longer relevant.✅ Why showing up to your GP appointment well informed is best practice. ✅ What's happening with the HRT shortage.✅ What's happening with the free prescription promise.✅ Why the pendulum had to swing so far in the HRT direction. So if you're ready to get latest on where we're at with the HRT shortage and hear about Katie's story, along with the success of The Latte Lounge, then this episode is for you. Starting a business at any stage of your life is already hard. What more if it happens simultaneously with a drastic change in your physical body? In this episode, Katie Taylor, Founder and CEO of The Latte Lounge, shares her journey from discovering that she has perimenopause and how that led her to build an amazing community that helped a lot of women. Listen up as she enlightens us that we are not alone in whatever journey we are going through. Key takeaways from this episode: If your hormone levels fluctuate all the time, these symptoms are enough to make a diagnosis, and no one should suffer, and nobody should be spending years and years waiting and trying. Don't suffer in silence. Get your health sorted first, and then if you're working in corporate, before you and set up on your own, get that all in place before you leave. Get some business coaching and have a business plan. Speak to your bank manager and figure out how you're going to finance everything. I've helped hundreds of self-employed women achieve the time and money freedom they craved. I've started this podcast because when I first went all in and left the corporate world to be a freelancer, I was grateful for any work that came my way. After over 20 years of freelancing and working for other people, I started to realize I'd created a glass ceiling for myself. In 2017, I finally started listening to that voice that had been telling me for a long time that I wasn't doing what I loved and fulfilling my true potential. It took a critical illness to give me that wake-up call. I don't want the same to happen to you. You can expect practical advice, inspiring stories, and a lot of aha moments as we uncover and kick to the curb all the obstacles you have been putting in your way. Katie Taylor is CEO and founder of The Latte Lounge, an online platform for women over 40, which exists to help women in midlife thrive at home and in the workplace. @katietaylorbaumShe and I first met 6 years ago when I spoke at her very first retreat for midlife women and I'm so proud of what she has done since. Her community is 30k strong and is a hub for every woman over 40 looking for evidence-based information about women's health. It's backed by a medical advisory team and is a confidential space for midlife women to connect online and gain access and signposting to a range of health and wellbeing experts. Her story is very similar to mine and still all too common (although thanks to her and many others in the menopause arena, things are so much better than they were). You can find out more at; https://www.lattelounge.co.uk
We're the sandwich generation. That group of - let's face it - mostly women who are caught in the middle between caring for elderly parents and supporting our children, whatever age they might be. That's a big burden to be carrying and multigenerational needs have grown even more acute during the pandemic, so that a previously heavy load may have now become intensely pressured and stressful. Add that to the perimenopause and menopause, and you have an explosive combination as the physical, mental and emotional strain starts to tell. Today's guest has made it her business to shine a spotlight on the sandwich generation, providing support and guidance via her online community to release the pressure valve at this difficult time. Meet Katie Taylor, founder of The Latte Lounge and a woman who has definitely earned her menopause spurs, because she suffered debilitating perimenopausal symptoms for 4 years, which were misdiagnosed as depression and forced her to give up 3 much loved jobs. It was this experience that inspired her to set up the Latte Lounge Facebook Group, to provide support and guidance to women in midlife so they don't waste quality years of their life as she did. Katie has reached out to medical, health and wellbeing experts to create an advice hub on the Latte Lounge website, where she can signpost her members to evidence-based, practical information and support. The membership which is currently at 20,000 and growing, is a real testament to the power of the sisterhood and shows just how important it is for we women in the sandwich generation to have a support community. We discuss the challenges of the perimenopause and how hormonally-driven psychological symptoms may lead to an inappropriate prescription for antidepressants. Katie explains the importance of community and how reaching out for relevant advice from health experts and moral support from friends, family and colleagues can make a huge difference to women in midlife. The main takeaway here is not to suffer alone if you're struggling with menopause symptoms. Katie is a one-woman powerhouse. Tune in to find out more about Katie's campaign to support women in midlife. If you've enjoyed this episode, please leave a 5-star rating and a review on Apple Podcasts or whichever platform you listen on, as it really helps to spread the word, so that new listeners can find the show. Because every woman deserves to have a happy menopause.
I'm delighted to have Katie Taylor as my guest today to talk about her personal experience of the menopause. Katie is the CEO and founder of the latte lounge, an online platform for midlife women. She founded this support platform at the age of 45 after suffering from debilitating per-menopausal symptoms which had been mis-diagnosed as depression for over 4 years. Katie is passionate about campaigning and supporting women, not just with their menopausal symptoms but all their health and wellbeing issues throughout midlife and beyond. Having been married for 27 years with 4 children, Katie has seen it all, so feels well placed to support, inform and signpost all those who join the community, backed a medical advisory team, which I'm pleased to be part of, who are on hand for professional advice too. Previously she worked for over 25 years in PR, Marketing, Fundraising and Event Organising for a variety of different children's and mental health charities. To find out more, please visit: www.lattelounge.co.uk We also talked about my nutrition checklists designed for menopausal women that are free to download. They are part of a wider range for fertility, pregnancy, breastfeeding, polycystic ovary syndrome, vegan and adult. If you enjoyed this episode, I'd be delighted if you would give us a 5* rating and leave a review, so other people can find us too. Thank you!

In this week's episode, Dr Newson chats to Katie Taylor. From the age of 43 Katie suffered for four years with debilitating perimenopausal symptoms, which had been misdiagnosed as depression by her doctor. It was only when her father, a breast cancer professor, suggested that he thought her symptoms were more likely to be hormonal, did she finally get the right diagnosis from her gynaecologist. Within a month of being on the right treatment (HRT) and off the antidepressants, she felt like her old self again. It was her anger and frustration at having wasted so many years of precious life, that led her to set up an online virtual coffee shop: The Latte Lounge (Top Tips For Women Over 40), to share her experience with others. Katie and Dr Newson discuss how commonly women are misdiagnosed and then are not receiving the right treatment for their symptoms. www.lattelounge.co Katie Taylor's Three Take Home Tips: Print off this symptom checklist and the NICE menopause guidelines and go to your doctor feeling empowered and armed with information. Know that HRT should be the first-line treatment, not just anti-depressants. Remember you're not alone! Join the Latte Lounge or Menopause Support and talk to like-minded women.

This month’s Latte Lounge podcast asks why diets, healthy eating plans and cutting out certain foods always fail? Because it’s not the diet - it’s our head that is interfering with our intentions. Katie chats about a revolutionary new weight management programme with the founder of Boddymatterz Louise Andres-Vicaria who has created a 12-week plan which supports your body and mind and helps you change your habits forever. Louise gives us some amazing tips for changing our attitude towards our relationships with ourselves and our food. We also hear from one of the first women to pilot test this new programme, Alene, who tells us about how well she’s done on the programme and why it’s so different. Katie also talks to Josephine about what’s going on in the Latte Lounge in January, from divorce support and advice to inspiring travel blogs plus an interview with the gorgeous Liz Earle MBE who shared her top tips for living well during midlife. We also hear how The Latte Lounge will be aligning itself with The Eve appeal, a charity which is supporting a research team at UCL who aim to develop one test to predict four cancers (breast, womb, ovarian and cervical). Mofo is a unique word, used many ways. Since it was close to Mother's Day, we thought we'd have fun with the root of the American phrase.
