This was an unexpected question that came up after we launched The Podcast Newsroom in 2021: Could your private podcast replace your public podcast? While public podcasts are great for getting discovered, private podcasts offer a more targeted audience and deeper connection with your listeners. On the other hand, private podcasts allow you to see exactly what your listeners are listening to and make it easier to convert them. Public podcasts, on the other hand, offer discoverability and make it easier for listeners to share. So, which is it? Private podcast or public podcast? In this episode of The More Profitable Podcast, we'll talk about the pros and cons of private and public podcasts and answer the question: Is a private podcast a replacement for a public podcast? 2:35 - A special announcement on something we're doing in Q3 (consider this your invite) 6:06 - The relationship differences between hosts and listeners when it comes to private and public podcasts 8:29 - The differences between public and private podcasting 10:14 - The advantages of a private podcast and the insights created by going private 12:00 - The major downside of private podcasting and why, for me, it's not a replacement for my public podcast 16:05 - How a private podcast might help you experiment with podcasting if you're considering it but are still unsure 18:00 - Two additional resources to check out after listening to this episode Mentioned In Is Your Private Podcast A Replacement For Your Public Podcast Learn more about the Profitable Podcaster Mastermind Get access to The Podcast Newsroom Chris Davis - All Systems Go! AI becomes real, reachable, and democratic. “AI is now out of the laboratory and into the hands of the public,” says Stijn Nijhuis, CEO of Enreach. Every now and then, we pass through a time when one can sense an era ending and an era beginning. Authors, writers, and futurists have been describing the ‘digital society since the appearance of the first non-defense purposed computers began to appear over sixty years ago to preforms functions such as billing, airline reservations and other big data functions. But 2023 seems to offer a change as significant at the appearance of the first laptop, or smartphone: AI for everyone. According to Nijhuis, AI's arrival in the hands of the public, also means that AI's gifts and challenges, AI's strengths, and area for improvement, are on full display. And just like those other moments of change, it's a good idea to be open to what will come and partner with companies that have already been working on the details. In this podcast we learn how Enreach has been preparing itself and their customers for this moment. “We have made that technology very affordable and very accessible to the SMB,” adds Nijhuis. We learn how even the smallest organizations will be able to make big gains with what's being called a democratization of technology, meaning AI solutions that not only scale for operation but also scale on cost. We also hear how the concurrent macro-economic challenges of the times and micro economic challenges of the small firm to find staff, and to control costs, make accessible AI a way to improve sales, customer experiences, agent and employee experiences and in turn, build scalable businesses that can be remain efficient, when and where growth occurs. Enreach's Conversational AI technology has just earned an award ... for more info, please see the press release and the award download page: https://enreach.com/en/company/frost-award-2023. The process leading to a company's Initial Public Offering (IPO) is extremely tedious, as leaders must ensure the company meets financial reporting compliance requirements while also using extensive financial analysis to demonstrate the appeal of the enterprise to potential investors. Many private companies upgrade to a new ERP prior to going public to instill the highest amount of investor confidence in their financial statements; but how can users decipher between their needs and the requirements needed to win over investors? In this episode of The ERP Advisor, Shawn Windle will provide the playbook on utilizing ERP to go public.https://www.erpadvisorsgroup.com866-499-8550LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/company/erp-advisors-groupTwitter:https://twitter.com/erpadvisorsgrpFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/erpadvisorsInstagram:https://www.instagram.com/erpadvisorsgroupPinterest:https://www.pinterest.com/erpadvisorsgroupMedium:https://medium.com/@erpadvisorsgroup

What do you want to know about Hell? What if you could ask someone who's actually seen the real deal? Is it really as bad as you've heard? Why does it exist? How is hell fair? What kind of people end up there and why? Our last public podcasting event was at NC State University, where we met Angel Garcia. Angel didn't plan to tell us about how Jesus showed him the depths of hell but he felt compelled to share his story. Angel was about to commit suicide. With a gun to his head, Jesus showed him the depths of hell. We had a lot of questions and I'm sure you do too… So we're heading back to NC State to talk about his experience in detail and get more of your (and our) questions answered. Hello Fabulous One, Today, I would like to explain the differences between a self-mastery teacher and a 21st century spiritual teacher. I see myself as a self-mastery teacher and it means my approach is completely different. I can understand that many people find it hard to differentiate between the two, but it's very important you choose the right person to work with depending on which stage of your spiritual journey you are in. It will make a world of difference and as well saves you confusion and frustration. I say 21st century spiritual teacher on purpose because I make a clear distinction between the spiritual teachers of the past and the modern spiritual teachers I see today. I am not speaking about the old skool or ancient or our spiritual teachers of the past. I am very fond of them, but these new 21st century spiritual teachers are not my cup of tea and that's why it's important to me, you don't see me as one of them. I want to be an island on my own. Something entirely new, not done before, in the way I am presenting it to you. Films such as Zeitgeist and Religulous make incredible claims that Jesus is just another version of Mithra, Egyptian god Horus and others from pagan mythology. This is exactly what our atheist friend Ron, challenged the M&A Team with at the Raleigh Market during our public podcasting event w/ David and Lydia Warpoole. Ron is passionate about social justice and is rightfully disgusted with the state of the world. He says if there is a God, why isn't He stepping in to do something about all this evil? (Paraphrasing)... We had a fun, important conversation with Ron and others during our Question & Answer session after our interview with David and Lydia. We did our best to unpack Ron's tough questions and retorted with some interesting challenges of our own. What is this podcast? What is a podcast? Why do I have 2? Why am I not studying for trials? All this and more, probably will not be answered in this short summary of After-Hours. PUbLIc PodCAsT. Time to invest in a microphone? Nah.
A listener commented with some alarm and surprise that I share my phone number on my podcast as a way to connect with me. I explained that it's my business phone and that number is out everywhere. It got me thinking that so many people hide away from the world to protect themselves from bad people, but it does not work because bad people always find their way in. It's the good ones they end up hiding from.

In the studio of Radio YoureUp we hosted as part of the Festival Lent 2018 program a debate on the dire situation in Palestine, featuring guests who helped enlighten us on what is happening in Israel and Palestine and what we can do to make a change for the better. We also breached the issue of why Slovenia, as a fairly young country, was not able or willing to recognize Palestine as an independent state, even though nations all across the globe have mustered the will to do it. And what else European countries should and could do to pressure Israel in changing its agressive politics. The guests of the talk were: Palestinian writer and poet, currently living as a refugee in Slovenia Mohamed Munem, member of the BDS (boycott, divestment, sanctions) movement Nada Pretnar and the foreign affairs journalist for MMC RTV Slovenija Boris Vasev.
