“For a writer of non-fiction or essayist that's very difficult to work with because we aren't, or at least some of us don't consider ourselves journalists. The tools that we are working with aren't–What your favorite color is. Where you grew up. Or what your favorite number is. If we're writing a profile of something, the tools that we're working with are long conversations in which people are sharing anecdotes about themselves. This book examines the origins of the lost race of giants whose skeletons have been uncovered in numerous mounds and sites all over North America. The evidence largely suggests that the giants came from the Near East and were likely Semitic (Egypto-Israelite) in origin.Adam Oliver Stokes (born 1981) has degrees in religion from Duke University and Yale Divinity School. He has published on a variety of topics including biblical studies, Mormon studies, Classical studies and ancient American history. His work has been featured in numerous journals and magazines including the Classical Outlook, Journal of Book of Mormon Studies and Ancient American magazine. Today, we are pleased to present an unexpected episode of Lost Origins. With Covid-19 forcing us into quarantine, we felt that an episode could help our audience adjust to life in the great indoors. Today, we link up with our good friend, Adam Stokes to discuss the Egyptian origins of America's pyramids, the mound builders of North America, diffusionism, and their interesting connection to the Book of Mormon. You do not want to miss this one. Adam Oliver Stokes is an expert and professor of theology and religion at St. Joseph University. He obtained his B.A. in Religion at Duke University and his Masters of Divinity from Yale Divinity School. He is a regular contributor to Ancient American magazine and his work ranges from ancient American civilizations, the Old Testament and Greco-Roman history, and folklore.
Season three of Lost Origins is arguably the strongest in the show's history. Andrew and CK continued their quest for the truth and connected with some of the leading minds in the historical and investigative space. The two welcomed several new guests onto the show, reconnected with some old friends, journeyed to California for the Conference on Precession and Ancient Knowledge, and so much more. In today's episode, the team closes season by reviewing some of the top moments from recent conversations and share some important information regarding season four.
This week's episode of Lost Origins features all things extraterrestrials and altered reality. This week Andrew and CK link up with Mary Rodwell and the conversation does not disappoint. Mary Rodwell is recognized internationally as one of Australia’s leading researchers and writers in the UFO and contact phenomenon areas. Mary is the author of the highly acclaimed book ‘Awakening: How Extraterrestrial Contact Can Transform Your Life’; and producer of EBE award winning documentaries:- Expressions of ET Contact: A Visual Blueprint, and Expressions of ET Contact: A Communication and Healing Blueprint. Her new book ‘The New Human’ which describes and documents star children was released in late 2016.Mary is the Founder and Principal of Australian Close Encounter Resource Network (ACERN) which was established in 1997 to provide professional counseling, support, hypnotherapy and information to individuals and their families with ‘anomalous’ paranormal experiences and abduction-‐contact experiences. Mary is also Director and Chair of the Experiencer Support Programs of Dr Edgar Mitchell: Foundation for Research into Extra-‐terrestrial Encounters; and an advisory Committee member of Exopolitics. Mary also organized the inaugural 'Hidden Truths' international conference held in Perth, Western Australia in 2003.Mary has researched more than 3000 cases and suggests extraterrestrial encounters are a global phenomenon and this is evident in the new humans referred to as star children. Mary affirms that star children exhibit a maturity and wisdom beyond their years and have an awareness and connection to spiritual realms. ‘Indigo’s’ or ‘crystal’ children as they are also known have telepathic abilities, are spiritually awakened, and can describe many species of non-‐human visitors with a feeling that they are as real to them as their ‘real’ family because they feel supported by them.
On today's episode of Lost Origins, Andrew and CK are able to complete a long-standing goal of the podcast - the two link up with Brien Foerster. A legend in the fields of alternative thought, the Paracas Skulls, lost ancient technologies, Gobekli Tepe, and more, Foerster is a wealth of knowledge. The conversation covers a massive amount of ground and the three discuss droves of enigmatic mysteries from around the globe. Brien Foerster was born in Rochester, Minnesota, U.S.A. but grew up on the west coast of Canada. At age 11, he became fascinated with the Native art of the Haida native people and began carving totem poles, and other related art forms, learning from Native teachers. After completing an Honours Bachelor Of Science degree, Brien decided to take up carving and sculpture full time, at the age of 25. This included the creation of 13 full-size totem poles, dugout canoes, masks, bowls, boxes, and other Native style works. In 1995 he moved to Maui, Hawaii, and was hired as assistant project manager for the building of the 62-foot double-hull sailing canoe (ancestor of the modern-day catamaran ) Mo’okiha O Pi’ilani ( Sacred Lizard That Pierces The Heavens. ) This project lasted 2 years. There, having learned how to make Hawaiian outrigger canoe paddles from master carver Keola Sequiera, he started an online outrigger paddle business, which flourished internationally.Peru became his next major area of interest. The study of the Inca culture led to his writing a book, A Brief History Of The Incas. He has become an authority on the megalithic works of South America and the perplexing ancient Elongated Headed people of the area and divides his time between Paracas and Cusco, Peru.
In this week's episode of Lost Origins, Andrew connects with Tom Carey to discuss all things extraterrestrial. As an authority in the field, Tom obtained his Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Toronto and is an Air Force veteran who held a top-secret crypto clearance. Tom has served as a Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) State Section Director for Southeastern Pennsylvania from 1986 to 2001Alongside his partner in crime, Donald Schmitt, the two have co-authored several books including UFO Secrets Inside Wright-Patterson, Witness to Roswell, The Children of Roswell, and The Roswell Incident. While Schmitt was unable to join the call, Andrew and Tom discuss their latest book UFO Secrets Inside Wright-Patterson, the events that began at Roswell's Area 51 and that ended at Wright-Patterson, an ultra-top-secret Air Force base in Dayton, Ohio, and the enigmatic Hangar 18.
In today's episode of Lost Origins, Andrew and CK link up with season two veteran, Bruce Fenton. Fenton returns to the show to continue the conversation started last season by explaining his work regarding the migration patterns of ancient peoples. As outlined in his book, The Forgotten Exodus, the origins of our ancestors leave much to be discovered. While archaic hominids have walked the Earth from around 5 million years ago, we now know that close to 750,000 years ago something extraordinary began to happen to the genome of these distant ancestors, changes which marked the beginning of a unique species, Homo sapiens - us. Modern humans are quite unlike their primate relatives, but what was it about our slow trek through a prehistoric world that left us the black sheep of the global ecosystem? What epic trials did our ancestors pass through? How did we become so reliant on our technologies? Where on Earth did the critical scenes in our story play out?Bruce Fenton is a British multidisciplinary scientific researcher and media personality. He curates the popular paleoanthropology website AncientNews.net. Fenton graduated from Anglia Ruskin University with a Higher National Diploma in Information Systems. His expeditions to megalithic ruins in the Amazon jungle and in the Georgian Caucasus have seen him feature in the UK Telegraph newspaper and on the Science Channel.
Have you ever seen a UFO or had an extraterrestrial experience? Millions of alien abductions have been reported and the worldwide phenomenon continues to baffle skeptics and open minds alike. In today's episode of Lost Origins, Andrew and CK connect with Derrel Sims to discuss his life's work around the investigation of extraterrestrial abductions, implants, and everything in between. More than forty years ago, Derrel Sims had his first encounter with an alien presence. At the age of 17, he experienced a malignant contact with these alien beings that would alter his life forever. As a result of the violent encounter, Derrel made the decision that he would no longer willingly be a victim to the bizarre quests of alien entities. He was determined to change his role in life from being “the hunted” to “the hunter.” When these same beings later came for his 5-year-old son, Derrel put his hunt into high gear.Derrel began preparing himself for his lifelong quest of pursuing the alien prey. Every path he took would equip him mentally, physically and spiritually to become a warrior for the cause and to assume the role he feels he was born to play. As a result, Derrel has spent the past three decades researching the world of alien beings. His focus has been two-fold: To acquire the skills necessary to design and implement a program of compassionate and effective counseling for victims of alien contact, and to collect and analyze medical and scientific evidence of the alien presence. He has spent years studying and training in a broad range of areas that would provide him with a full array of skills necessary to search for and acquire evidence of these creatures. He served in military intelligence and worked with the CIA, and after the service worked as a police officer, and as a licensed private investigator. As a teenager, he was gifted at martial arts and became an instructor—though he himself had no formal training. As an adult, he kept several exotic animals, including a tiger and pet python. From advanced scuba diving training to skill with weaponry; from his certifications as a Master Hypnotherapist and Certified Medical Hypnoanaesthesiolgist to studies in graphoanlysis; Derrel’s eclectic accomplishments have had a single aim: to defeat the alien menace.
Today's episode of Lost Origins is a bangerang of an episode. Why? We're glad that you asked - two reasons. First and foremost, this is the first episode of 2020 and we couldn't be more stoked on how we are kicking off the new year. Which leads us to reason number two, that being the guest for this week's episode. This week, Andrew and CK are joined by none other than Dr. Robert Schoch. A legend of his field, Dr. Schoch has been a mind that both Andrew and CK have wanted to pick for years and the two finally had the opportunity to do so at the Conference of Precession and Ancient Knowledge. The three spent time digging into the life's work of Dr. Schoch surrounding the Sphynx, Gobelki Tepe, coronal mass ejections, and so much more. Dr. Robert Schoch of Boston University is speaking on Göbekli Tepe, the incredibly sophisticated 12,000-year-old archaeological complex in southeastern Turkey.Professor, geologist, author, and scientist famed for re-dating the Great Sphinx, Dr. Schoch will discuss the enigma of Göbekli Tepe, which belongs to an early cycle of civilization dating back to the end of the last ice age. Dr. Schoch’s latest research put forth in his book Forgotten Civilization: The Role of Solar Outbursts in Our Past and Future points to the astronomical cause of the demise of antediluvian civilizations, as well as the scientific and archaeological evidence that supports his conclusions.
Today's episode of Lost Origins is a brain-bending ride into the mysterious and enigmatic world of past life memories and the initiation rituals of Ancient Egypt with nonother than Dr. Carmen Boulter. Dr. Boulter linked up with Andrew and CK during their CPAK adventure and the three discussed Dr. Boulter's past life memories, the initiation practices of Ancient Egyptian mystery schools, the site of Abu Ghurab, and much more. A professor at the University of Calgary in Canada, Dr. Carmen Boulter is the creative fire behind The Pyramid Code, directing, producing, and writing the series. She has been researching and writing about the sacred feminine in ancient Egypt and in goddesses worldwide for two decades. Her book, Angels and Archetypes: An Evolutionary Map of Feminine Consciousness, traces fragments of information about matriarchal cultures in pre-dynastic Egypt, prehistoric Greece, and around the world. In the archives of the Egyptian Museum, she gained official access to the original field notes of excavations done around the pyramids in the early 1900s. Dr. Boulter has an unshakable passion for Egypt and has traveled there 34 times.
During their weekend at CPAK, Andrew and CK had many conversations that left them reeling for more. In today's episode of Lost Origins, you get a front-row seat to the conversation that took the pair of hosts by surprise; this episode is cited by both Andrew and CK as the headiest conversation from their time at the Conference on Precession and Ancient Knowledge. In addition to quantum biology and anthropology, the three discuss the pineal gland, consciousness, the nature of reality, transcendental meditation, and so much more. #followTheWhiteRabbitTeeth provide the foundations of human history with tree-ring like record of our ancestor’s lives. Anthropological studies show that modern humans have experienced a dramatic change in the growth of the dental arch in modern times due to diet and functional habits. Dr. Lin merges ancient dental records with breakthrough principles of quantum biology to re-define the borders of what we understand about the human body. Dr. Steven Lin is a dentist, speaker, and internationally published author. He is a world leader in functional dentistry with his focus on crooked teeth as a preventable and nutritional problem. Dr. Lin merges anthropological and biomedical sciences to provide a multi-disciplinary perspective on a range of issues. He is a featured expert on The Human Origin Project, a global platform advancing the understanding of humanity’s true story.
This week's episode of Lost Origins sets a new record, as we welcome our first ever, three-time guest to the show. David Mathisen sat down with Andrew and CK at CPAK to continue the conversation that began in season one. In this exchange, the trio discusses several new aspects of David's work including Buddhism, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Mahabharata. As always, David's thoughtful approach to the myths of the ancient world is fascinating and filled with moments of personal motivation. For more than ten years, David Mathisen has been researching and deciphering the system of celestial metaphor that forms the foundation for the world’s ancient myths, scriptures, and sacred stories. Abundant and compelling evidence shows that these ancient sacred traditions are in fact all related and closely connected, despite being found in virtually every longitude all the way around the globe, and stretching back to the very earliest texts and artwork is known to us at this time. The existence of this world-wide system argues for the existence of a sophisticated predecessor culture unknown to conventional history, standing alongside all of the archaeological evidence that has come to light over the centuries and continues to surface to this day. David is the author of The Ancient World-Wide System: Star Myths of the World Volume One (Second Edition), released in 2019, as well as of the earlier books Star Myths of the World Volume Two: Myths of Ancient Greece, Star Myths of the World Volume Three: Star Myths of the Bible, Star Myths of the World Volume Four: Norse Mythology, Astrotheology for Life, The Mathisen Corollary, The Undying Stars, and Ancient Myths, Ancient Wisdom.
This week's episode of Lost Origins presents a rare opportunity to connect with one of our generation's most advanced minds - that of Robert Edward Grant. While attending CPAK in Southern California, Andrew and CK sat down with Robert to discuss his mind-melting research and work. The three discussed the concept of playing DNA similar to how a stringed instrument would be played, polymath, sound frequencies, one being the only constant, and so much more. Robert Edward Grant is a genius inventor with an eye for patterns hidden within the fabrics of reality. Similar to how the Great Year appears as nuanced astronomical motions until examined from an alternative perspective in context, Robert has discovered prime number polyhedrons laced within all sound frequencies, but within music more notably. The characteristics of sonic geometry can be dated back to most, if not all ancient cultures who appear to have utilized specialized patterns for sound rhythms to create what we now know as music. Mathematics is a primordial language utilized by ancient cultures (aside from pictograms) that was derived out of a necessity to communicate and count. Yet, so much surrounding mathematics is not yet fully understood. Prime numbers especially have been tabled for a later debate—default outliers due to their seeming lack of interconnectivity—until now.Robert’s research has correlated absolute prime number values appearing in specific, identical patterns of data sets—even within those sets that are randomly generated number sequences. Further, this pattern can be translated into a kind of “musical geometry” that reveals secret shapes known as “polyhedrons” within the sound itself.By taking the corresponding individual musical notes inside the chromatic scale of octaves, Robert was able to convert them using the Pythagorean theorem to generate “degree reference points” within a specific range on the hertz frequency scale of sound. His research has appeared on Gaia and Ancient Origins and can be found on his own website as well.
This week's episode of Lost Origins is a wild ride and initiation of sorts to the esoteric world of ancient mystery schools. Andrew and CK had the opportunity to sit down with Anyextee at CPAK to discuss his work surrounding the Maya, Ancient Eygpt, his mentorship from John Anthony West, and his upcoming book "The Water Wizards."Anyextee is an esoteric researcher, world traveler, author and filmmaker called to investigate the ancient mysteries, metaphysics, and mysticism. He transformed his passion for exploration into an esoteric tour company dedicated to providing travelers with more meaningful experiences offering symbolist tours through Egypt, Turkey, and Mexico. As the producer and narrator for “The Sacred History of the Rosicrucians”, Anyextee explores the heritage and importance of the mystical order’s traditional timeline. He is also producer and narrator for the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum Educational Guide and founder of Adept Initiates, Adept Expeditions, and Ancient Egypt Mystery Schools. Anyextee has also been featured on the Travel Channel.
Earlier this year, Andrew and CK ventured to sunny California for the Conference of Procession and Ancient Knowledge. The two spent three days locked in a room with many of the brightest minds within the scientific community and mind-bending conversation after mind-bending conversation left them reeling for more. This week's episode of Lost Origins has been a long time coming. This is the first official installment of the CPAK episodes and we kick it off with a bang by interviewing Joseph Selbie. Did ancient man have a higher sense of consciousness and a more thorough understanding of reality than our current model? If you have jumped down the rabbit hole that is the Yuga Cycle, you may have your own opinions around this. Yuga in Hinduism is an epoch or era within a four-age cycle. A complete Yuga starts with the Satya Yuga, via Treta Yuga and Dvapara Yuga into a Kali Yuga. Some scholars say that our present time is ascending Kali Yuga, while some scholars say that Kali Yuga has ended in 1700 A.D. and now we're in ascending Dwapara Yuga.Joseph Selbie is the author of The Physics of God. An avid follower of the unfolding new paradigms of science, he is known for creating bridges of understanding between the modern evidenced-based discoveries of science and the ancient experience-based discoveries of the mystics. Joseph is also the co-author of The Yugas, a factual look at Yukteswar’s description of the cycle of the ages.A dedicated Kriya meditator for nearly 50 years, he has taught yoga and meditation throughout the US and Europe, helping people to understand and find their own spiritual potential—and helping them understand how the expression of their spiritual potential ushers into the world an unstoppable wave of peaceful consciousness. He is a founding member of Ananda, a world-wide spiritual movement. Joseph has been with Ananda since 1975 and has served in a wide variety of roles including IT Director, Ananda Village Community Manager, Lightbearer, and spearhead for Ananda’s work in Europe and Seattle. Joseph is the author of other books exploring how spirituality connects with culture and science, including a sci/fi fantasy series, The Protectors Diaries, inspired by the abilities of mystics. He is currently working on a new book, The Psychology of God, an exploration of the intersections of psychology and neuroscience with higher consciousness.
While questing for diamonds, Sierra Leone locals stumbled upon a set of enigmatic stone figures depicting several human races, and in some cases, semi-human beings. In addition to their mysterious origins, the Nomoli stones are incredibly ancient with some estimates dating them as far back as 17,000 BC. Another mind-bending facet of the Nomoli is the high melting temperatures required to create them and the presence of steel manipulated into perfectly spherical balls embedded within several of the figures. This suggests that the stones were developed by a civilization that would be considered highly advanced for its time. On this week's episode of Lost Origins, Andrew and CK are joined by Ben Vonderheide to rip into all things Nomoli. Ben is the world's leading researcher of the Nomoli and he explains the current understanding of the origins of the figures, their purpose, and the implications they hold for unlocked a missing chapter of human history.
CPAK was lit af. The 2019 Conference on Precession and Ancient Knowledge was three intense, jam-packed days of conversation after conversation that hit CK and Andrew with several theories and concepts on a level not yet experienced in the history of the show. Is that a bold statement? Yep. Is it a claim that we can back up with data? Something fierce and the upcoming release schedule of the interviews obtained in Newport Beach will trigger a massive spike in your Google consumption, dilated pupils, and sleepless nights of contemplation. When you head out for an evening of fine dining, you don't just sit down in your stretchiest sweats and jump into the main course; you embrace the experience and that first course is meant to wet the palate to prepare you for what's to come. That is the mindset you need to manifest with today's episode of Lost Origins. In today's episode, our very good friend Walter Cruttenden joins Andrew and CK to discuss the CPAK experience, the primary focus of the lecture he delivered at the conference, the moments that rocked his boat, and the presenters that had profound effects on him. This CPAK preview episode of Lost Origins will prepare you for what's about to hit your device of choice for podcast consumption. Get stoked. Hype yourself up. All the things.
History is riddled with countless enigmatic mysteries - so much of our chronology is shrouded in a cloak of unknown and the Newport Tower is no exception. Commonly thought to be the remains of a Rhode Island windmill, is a round stone tower located in Touro Park in Newport, Rhode Island. The tower presents copious riddles regarding its origins of construction and the epoch in which it was erected. Theories include local efforts, the pre-Columbus Vikings, the Templars, extraterrestrials, and everything in between. On this week's episode of Lost Origins, Andrew and CK are schooled on all things Newport Tower by the one and only, Jim Egan. As the number one authority on the tower, Jim serves as the curator of the Newport Tower Museum and has spent decades pouring his time, energy, and passion into unraveling the mystery of the tower. Jim Egan has worked as a professional photographer Providence, RI for 30 years. Before the digital photography revolution, he lived in an upside-down world using his 4 by 5 view camera. He has invented and marketed a line of photographic tools, including the Visualizer, the Quick Stick, and the Depth-of-Field Finder. He is a member of the New England Antiquities Research Association and the Renaissance Society of America.
Strange phenomenons are pervasive throughout our world; much of the nature of our existence is unknown, unexplainable, and enigmatic beyond our understanding. While many observe a happening that is not understood and react with the knee jerk reaction of disbelief, Lucy Pringle takes a different approach. Lucy has dedicated the vast majority of her life to studying, photographing, and scientific analysis of the worldwide appearance of crop circles. In 1990 while studying the energetics of a crop circle, Lucy Pringle experienced miraculous healing of a severe shoulder injury. Inspired, she expanded her research to investigate the physical, psychological, and energetic effects of these mysterious formations on people as well as on animals. In this book, alongside her stunning full-color aerial photographs of crop circles, Pringle shares the results of her research, including anecdotes from an 800-person questionnaire study, in combination with detailed scientific explanations by aerospace engineer and fellow crop circle researcher James Lyons. This week on Lost Origins, Andrew and CK connect with Lucy to discuss her latest book, The Energies of Crop Circles and her life's work. Lucy explains the worldwide phenomenon and walks the hosts through the connections between crop circle formations, cosmic energies, and consciousness. If you are a fan of the mysterious and unknown, you do not want to miss this one. About the guest: Recognized as an authority on the effects of electromagnetic fields on living systems, Lucy Pringle is one of the world’s leading crop circle photographers and researchers and is currently working with a medical research team investigating the temporary relief of Parkinson’s Disease when inside genuine crop circles. She lectures internationally and lives in Hampshire, England.
Certain moments in one's life can influence or drastically change the trajectory of the years to follow. Experiences have the power to shape and mold who we become, what's important to us, and the questions we ask. In the case of Jeffery Sortino, this becomes resoundingly clear. In this week's episode of Lost Origins, Jeffery joins Andrew and CK for a thought-provoking and heavy conversation regarding his life, the intense events that shaped his path, and the questions he started asking at a young age that would ultimately lead him to write The Identity of God: The Search for and Identification of God Through Ancient Texts. This book analyzes multitudes of ancient texts in an effort to answer one of humanity's most significant questions - who is god? This episode is a crazy ride and one that will leave you ready to ask meaningful questions about the nature of our existence, spirituality, and the possibility of extraterrestrial existence.
Holy hell, are you ready for a next-level deep dive into the world of the occult, mysticism, rune stones, uthark divination, futhark divination, and all the things? On this week's episode of Lost Origins, that's exactly what goes down. Andrew and CK are joined by Dr. Thomas Karlsson for a deep dive into the occult and Dr. Karlsson does not disappoint. Dr. Karlsson rips your two favorite nerds through his work, which explores the practice of the Uthark divination system encoded within the traditional exoteric Futhark system of reading the runes, his research that traces the relationship between the rune stones and numerology, the Cabbala, alchemy, Gothicism, and sigil magic, and how his years of experience examines the history of the runes and the ancient spiritual mysticism of Odin. Thomas Karlsson, Ph.D., is the founder of the esoteric order Dragon Rouge and Head of Ordo Draconias. He is the senior lecturer in history, religion, and philosophy at Stockholm University, fellow researcher at Yale University, and director of the Esoteric Crossroads conferences in Capri, Italy. The author of Cabbala, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic and Amongst Mystics and Magicians in Stockholm, he lives in Tumba, Sweden.
Brace yourself for a gigantic conversation on this week's episode of Lost Origins. That was an awful pun, but the legitimacy of the claim holds true. This week, Andrew and CK are joined by none other than Adam Stokes. Having obtained his B.A. in Religion at Duke University and his Masters of Divinity from Yale Divinity School, Stokes is an expert of theology and religion and a professor at St. Joseph University. He is a regular contributor to Ancient American magazine and the subject matter of his contributions range from ancient American civilizations, the Old Testament and Greco-Roman history, and folklore. Adam is also an expert within the field of giants within the chronology of human history. In today's episode, Stokes explains the giant humanoids of ancient America and the significant discoveries of giants remains across North America. He also walks Andrew and CK through the suppression of information and findings by the Smithsonian Institute. Ranging from eight to eighteen feet in height, there exist droves of physical evidence across the globe that Stokes has poured years of research to uncover a mysterious chapter of human history. This is definitely an episode that you do not want to miss.
Season two of Lost Origins was an incredible journey and one that will forever hold a very special place in our hearts. Placing the show in a status of hiatus after season one was a very difficult decision and the itch to reboot the show has been everpresent since production ceased in 2016. Life has an interesting way of presenting challenges and opportunities that both require a monumental amount of attention, effort, and time. There were several moments where a reboot looked possible and in the end, each of these moments was rendered obsolete. We wanted to make sure that when we committed to rebooting the show, it was one that was not only sustainable but one that allowed us to make some incredible changes to the brand. We knew that the audio quality needed to be addressed and we checked that box. We also know that in today's digital ecosystem, a brand that is not a media company is not likely to survive - it's a jungle out there kids. We rolled out the media section of the website. We announced the anthology that is in development. We started implementing the use of videography and that is a space that we will continue to flex our creative muscles. We are always looking for ways to create additional content and media that provides value to our audience and listeners. In this week's episode, Andrew and CK revisit their favorite moments from season two and discuss the conversations that left their heads spinning. There were droves of amazing nuggets throughout the run of season two and the co-hosts expand on what they learned. Andrew and CK also outline the future of the show - what to expect in season three, what shifts are in the works for the format of the show, and much more. PSA: If you're a sensitive creature, tissues are not included with the download or streaming of this episode.
Growing up, I always enjoyed a solid mashup. It was a magical moment when the work of two bands I enjoyed would come together, creating an altogether new experience based on separate brands, styles, and sometimes genres. This week, Lost Origins tips the proverbial hat and pays homage to the mashup culture in a big way. Sharing the motivation to ask questions and uncover the origins of humanity, Earth Ancients is an insanely successful podcast hosted by Cliff Dunning. A former Program Director for The Learning Annex, Whole Life Expo, and numerous national conferences, Cliff developed a keen awareness for provocative subjects on our planet’s known and unknown civilizations, and the thousands of anomalous archeological discoveries which are not covered by conventional science and the media. Possessing a deep understanding of ancient wisdom traditions, the Human Potential Movement, topics on personal growth, and spirituality, Cliff introduces programs which are ahead of their time, controversial and thought-provoking. Not only has Cliff built an amazing show with a massive following, but he has also been fortunate to have conversations with some of the top alternative thinking minds of modern times. This roster is vast and includes hitters such as Graham Hancock, Randal Carlson, Michael Tellinger, Andrew Collins, Freddy Silva, Dr. Robert Schoch, Erich Von Daniken, and many more. This week, Cliff jumps on with Andrew and CK for a mashup between Lost Origins and Earth Ancients. In true round table fashion, the three each bring their favorite theory among ancient mysteries and discuss what they have been able to discern based on their research and conversations had on the podcasts. This is a unique episode and one that you do not want to miss.
Lurking in the dark corners of our solar system, planet Sedna holds interesting implications regarding the mental wellbeing of humanity. This week, Andrew and CK connect with Jennifer T. Gehl, MHS. As a certified Acutonics practitioner, astrology sound healer, and mentor with a master’s degree in health sciences from St. Francis University, Jennifer instructs astro-harmonic medicine continuing education to licensed professionals. In this week's episode of Lost Origins, she explains her latest book, The Return of Planet Sedna and walks Andrew and CK through how the Inuit legend of the sea woman Sedna offers clues about the message of the same-named planet’s return, including a warning about the sustainability of our planet. She also details how we can tune ourselves to Sedna’s energies and harness them for healing ourselves and our planet. Gehl also explains how Kundalini energy courses through planets and people alike and how planetary transits activate a form of cosmic Kundalini energy, with Sedna’s planetary return marking a major stage in this awakening process. Examining the story of Sedna mythologically and astrologically, Gehl explains how Sedna’s last appearance 11,000 years ago occurred at the end of the Ice Age when waters disrupted and divided our world. Her return, rather than being a harbinger of disaster, is one of the way-shower and shaman. Symbolically, she lights the path for us to ignite our own immortality by surrendering to the inner path, revealing patterns and pathways for infinite healing potential, a new model of sustainability for the health of our planet, and a way to actively participate in our soul’s evolution.
Gobekli Tepe is hands-down one of the most enigmatic and intriguing sites on the face of the Earth. Steeped in mystery, this site continues to challenge the status-quo of the epoch in which civilization began. This site has been the focus of several episodes of Lost Origins and this week, we make a return to Gobekli Tepe in a major way. Andrew and CK are joined by Andrew Collins to discuss his upcoming book, Denisovan Origins. Scheduled for release on September 3rd, Denisovan Origins traces the migrations of the sophisticated Denisovans and their interbreeding with Neanderthals and early human populations more than 40,000 years ago. This release also explains how Denisovan hybrids became the elite of ancient societies, including the Adena mound-building culture. Collins explains his latest effort to Andrew and CK while taking them on a journey through the ancient world. This episode is one hell of a rabbit hole; you have been warned. Andrew Collins is a science and history writer, who has been investigating the origins of human civilization for over three decades. He is a noted explorer and the co-discoverer of a massive cave complex beneath the Giza plateau, now known as “Collins’ Caves.” He is the author of several bestselling books, including From the Ashes of Angels and Gobekli Tepe: Genesis of the Gods.
This week's episode of Lost Origins explores the monomyth of the hero's journey with author and researcher, Bernie Taylor. This narrative is at the core of stories worldwide among indigenous peoples, the ancients, and our modern society. Bernie's research explores a deeper root for this monomyth by looking at how hunter-gatherers viewed themselves within the natural and spiritual worlds through Paleolithic cave art from 40,000 years ago. Taylor proposes that select cave paintings are fundamental pieces in the human journey to self-realization, the foundation of written language, and a record of biological knowledge that irrevocably impacted some of the artistic styles, religious practices, and stories that are still with us. Andrew and CK pick his brain on the El Castillo cave paintings, its connection to the Sphinx, the Cosmic Egg, the Cosmic Mountain, and the implications these realizations hold for the untold past of humanity.
If we had a nickel for every theory regarding the origins and purpose of the megalithic site of Stonehenge, we would have $3.12. We are well aware of that math not adding up, much like many of the concepts around Stonehenge. In this week's episode of Lost Origins, Andrew and CK hit up a private tour with Graham Phillips and have the opportunity to take a deep dive into the site, recently uncovered archeological evidence, several overlooked manuscripts, and the resounding indication that points to the true purpose of Stonehenge. In his recent release, The Wisdomkeepers of Stonehenge, Phillips argues that these stone circles are evidence of an astonishing system of healthcare and preservation of ancient medical knowledge that held together with a society scattered across the British Isles. With stones aligned to the sun, moon, and certain stars, these ancient monuments enabled the precise timings necessary for the cultivation of medicinal plants. He explains how the megalithic priesthood possessed medical knowledge well beyond their time and may even have discovered a cure for cancer. Furthermore, because they had no form of writing, the megalithic people developed phenomenal memory techniques to preserve their knowledge over many generations, resulting in a class of wisdomkeepers that were not only healers but the living libraries of their culture. This is a full rip ride through the ancient past and the research shared by Phillips will rock your boat.
The Knights Templar are a fascinating group from antiquity. The life of Jesse James is one that is shrouded in infamy and mystery. The two narratives have never crossed paths, until now. Lost Origins is pleased to present the exclusive first look at the work of Daniel Duke - researcher and author of Jesse James and the Lost Templar Treasure. Daniel's research is built upon the alternative historical timeline of Jesse James having faked his death in 1882, only to live out a long and law-abiding Texan life until the of 93. Duke's research suggests that in addition to the staged death, Jesse James also made a surprising contribution to the legacy of the Knights Templar. After becoming a Free Mason, James worked to distribute lost Templar treasures across the United States through the use of coded maps that outline a mind-bending connection to the Old World, the mystic Kabbalah, King Solomon's Temple of ancient Jerusalem, and much more.
It is no secret that our world is changing. A quick peruse of social media or any given news outlet will quickly showcase the rapid downward spiral of the human condition. Our species claims to have achieved the most advanced zenith throughout our history and yet, we find ourselves divided. Humanity has ignorantly turned a blind eye to not only the societal shifts across the globe but also with respect to the negative implications that our consumer habits have introduced to our environmental conditions. The planet is changing. In recent articles published by Scientific American and Science magazine, humanity has essentially been hit with a countdown - a ticking clock with an unforgiving lack of a snooze button. A small window exists for humanity to correct the wrongs of our destructive nature and unless immediate action is taken, our species could see its demise by 2050. This week, the team digs into this research, the hard science available to the world, and the simple ways we can band together to ensure the longevity of humanity is at the forefront of our daily decisions.
On this week's episode of Lost Origins, Andrew and CK connect with author and researcher, David Mathisen. For the past ten years, David has been researching and writing about the overwhelming evidence that points to the conclusion that the world's ancient myths, scriptures, and sacred stories are all built on a foundation of celestial metaphor. There are thousands of examples which demonstrate that the world's ancient myths are all built upon very specific celestial metaphor. This ancient system forms the foundation for the stories of the Bible, the myths of ancient Greece, and of the Norse myths, and myths from Africa, Australia, Asia, the Americas, and the islands of the Pacific. Amazingly, myths from cultures separated by great distances all appear to be using the same system -- a system which is so old that it can be found forming the basis for the myths of ancient Egypt, ancient Mesopotamia, ancient India, ancient China and Japan. The conversation explores the star myths of the ancient world, connecting with your authentic self, the nature of reality, DMT, and so much more.
This week's episode of Lost Origins takes Andrew and CK to the Giza Plateau with author and researcher, Scott Creighton. Creighton is an engineer whose extensive travels have allowed him to explore many of the world’s ancient sacred sites. The Scottish investigator is the host of the Alternative Egyptology forum on AboveTopSecret.com.His latest book, The Great Pyramid Hoax is a tour de force that explores ancient Egypt and its erroneous history. The show explores evidence that suggests the discoveries made within the Great Pyramid by Colonel Howard Vyse in 1837 were fraudulent. Scott also shares his theories surrounding the purpose of the great pyramids, a possible connection to Atlantis, and his upcoming sequel to The Great Pyramid Hoax. About The Great Pyramid Hoax via Inner Traditions: Despite millennia of fame, the origins of the Great Pyramid of Giza are shrouded in mystery. Believed to be the tomb of an Egyptian king, even though no remains have ever been found, its construction date of roughly 2550 BCE is tied to only one piece of evidence: the crudely painted marks within the pyramid’s hidden chambers that refer to the 4th Dynasty king Khufu, discovered in 1837 by Colonel Howard Vyse and his team. Using evidence from the time of the discovery of these “quarry marks”--including surveys, facsimile drawings and Vyse’s private field notes--along with high definition photos of the actual marks, Scott Creighton reveals how and why the marks were faked. He investigates the anomalous and contradictory orthography of the quarry marks through more than 75 photos and illustrations, showing how they radically depart from the established canon of quarry marks from this period. He explains how the orientation of the Khufu cartouche contradicts ancient Egyptian writing convention and how one of the signs is from a later period. Analyzing Vyse’s private diary, he reveals Vyse’s forgery instructions to his two assistants, Raven and Hill, and what the anachronistic sign should have been. He examines recent chemical analysis of the marks along with the eye-witness testimony of Humphries Brewer, who worked with Vyse at Giza in 1837 and saw forgery take place. Exploring Vyse’s background, including his electoral fraud to become a member of the British Parliament, he explains why he was driven to perpetrate a fraud inside the Great Pyramid. Proving Zecharia Sitchin’s claim that the quarry marks are forgeries and removing the only physical evidence that dates the Great Pyramid’s construction to the reign of Khufu, Creighton’s study strikes down one of the most fundamental assertions of orthodox Egyptologists and reopens long-standing questions about the Great Pyramid’s true age, who really built it, and why.
This week, Andrew and CK are joined by Scott Wolter to dig into the rebooting of America Unearthed. For the uninitiated, America Unearthed can be summarized with the following excerpt from the depths of Google. "America is full of archaeological secrets buried in the earth. In this program, forensic geologist Scott Wolter - considered a real-life Indiana Jones by some - travels across the country to uncover some of the hidden treasures and to reveal the history associated with them, discovering in the process that there is a lot Americans don't know about the country's past, and the history that people do know may not always tell the whole story. Ancient symbols, religious relics and other artifacts that Wolter unearths indicate that various civilizations have left their mark on the nation."Andrew and CK discuss the show's first episode, the supporting evidence of vikings having been present in Arizona, the Kensington ruin stone, Scott's new book, and much more. This week also sees the first installment of a brand new segment of the show. Did you think we would just give the focus of that segment away? You'll have to dig in to uncover the secrets of this brand new segment of Lost Origins.
After an unplanned hiatus, the Lost Origins team returns to the airwaves.
