Richard Armitage's dream of becoming an actor began in his teens, in a circus in Budapest, where he slept within sniffing distance of the elephant enclosure to earn a much-needed Equity card. Having spent his early career on stage, his big break came in the BBC adaptation of Elizabeth Gaskell's North and South in 2004. Richard went on to star in Spooks, before scoring roles in The Hobbit Trilogy and Ocean's 8. Recently he has appeared in Netflix hits including Obsession and Fool Me Once, with Michelle Keegan. Acting is not his only creative endeavour: Richard is also an author. His debut novel was a number 1 bestseller on Audible and his latest offering, The Cut, is out now. Nick mixes a non-alcoholic Pentire coastal spritz for Richard while Angela prepares the best smash burger, a recipe by Martha Collison, serving it with oven chips. Nick and Angela enjoy a 0% Stella Artois with their meal, while the experts at Waitrose suggest a Rasteau Edition Limitee as the wine pairing. Our trio discuss Richard's army of loyal fans, what it's like to read audiobooks for a living and how a chance meeting in a graveyard inspired his new novel. Danny Dyer was discovered by a scout while at school in East London and landed his first acting role in Prime Suspect 3 in 1994. He gained a reputation for playing the tough guy and films like Human Traffic (1999) and The Football Factory (2004) put him on the road to stardom. Danny is most famous for his portrayal of Mick Carter in EastEnders from 2013 to 2022. Ryan Sampson was born in Rotherham and studied acting at Drama Centre London. He began his career on stage in various theatrical productions. His big break came in 2013, when he played Grumio in the historical sitcom Plebs on ITV2. Ryan also appeared in Brassic with Michelle Keegan in 2019. Ryan wrote and stars in the new comedy series Mr Bigstuff with Danny Dyer. As a sign of what's to come, Danny and Ryan request a glass of something strong before they sit down at the Dish table. Nick obliges and pours some Edmundo Malbec, an Argentinian red, recommended by the experts at Waitrose. He then gets to work on their favourite cocktail, an old fashioned. Meanwhile, Angela is busy in the kitchen slow-roasting a shoulder of lamb with anchovies, oregano and garlic with roast potatoes. Danny and Ryan are an unlikely pair but their chemistry is undeniable, making this Dish double-date unmissable. Our foursome talks vinaigrettes, pesto and couscous before tackling the important topic of modern masculinity, inspired by their new show, out now on Sky. Danny Dyer is well-known for his ‘colourful' language; please be aware that there is swearing throughout this week's episode. Kanye's wife Bianca Censori is allegedly not allowed to speak in public, but how many of the disturbing rumours swirling around the couple are actually true? We dive into the very strange world of Ye and Bianca, Head of Architecture at Yeezy, in light of the recent slew of semi-nude images posted by Ye in ‘honour' of his wife's 29th birthday. Kathleen also tells us why Michelle Keegan's new Netflix thriller Fool Me Once is the best thing on TV right now, and we debate why Michelle isn't taken ‘seriously' as an actress, and whether the media have a right to focus on her lifestyle over her work. And Ellie watches a controversial new black comedy, Sick of Myself, about a pathological liar who purposefully disfigures herself to get attention online. Is it a pertinently dark look at viral fame or is the satire too crude? And, in the wake of the recent news story about the rape of a minor in the metaverse, we finally share our thoughts on of our fave recent novels, Tomorrow, Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin, covering everything from virtual utopias to video gaming culture. Imposter syndrome is likely to affect all of us at some point in our life; Michelle Keegan still feels it every time she finishes an acting job. In this chat with Fearne, Michelle talks about her disciplined work ethic, as well as how she's learnt to cope well with the amount of rejection in her industry. They also chat about why setting boundaries – especially drawing lines between personal and professional life – is so important. This Summer, Dino Fetscher will appear in the second season of the Apple TV+ sci-fi series FOUNDATION. The Emmy and BAFTA-nominated series created by showrunner David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight Triology, The Sandman) chronicles a band of exiles on their monumental journey to save humanity and rebuild civilisation amid the fall of the Galactic Empire. The series stars Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Ben Daniels and Lou Llobell. He's currently filming FOOL ME ONCE for Netflix, an adaptation of the novel by Harlan Coben also starring Adeel Akhtar, Michelle Keegan, Richard Armitage and Joanna Lumley. Shaken by two murders. Maya Stern (Keegan) watches security camera footage of her house sees her murdered husband Joe (Armitage) back as an intruder. Meanwhile, Abby and Daniel, her nephew and niece, are trying to find the truth about the murder of their mother and seeing possible connections between both cases. In 2021, Dino made his National Theatre debut in the first major European revival of Larry Kramer's seminal play THE NORMAL HEART described as ‘poignant and powerful' by The Guardian, largely based on Larry's own experience of the HIV/AIDS crisis in the 1980s in New York. Dino played the role of 'Felix Turner', Ned Week's closeted lover, for which he received a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the Olivier Awards and WhatsOnStage Awards in 2022. After graduating from The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, Dino made his screen debut in Russell T. Davies' critically acclaimed BAFTA nominated and RTS winning Channel 4 drama CUCUMBER and sister series BANANA, before starring as the lead in the ITV/Netflix thriller PARANOID alongside Indira Varma, Lesley Sharpe and Robert Glenister, followed by the cult BAFTA nominated sci-fi series HUMANS (Channel4/AMC) in the role of new synth ‘Stanley'. Dino is also known for his role in the globally praised BBC/HBO drama YEARS AND YEARS penned again by Russell T. Davies and starring alongside Emma Thompson, Rory Kinnear and T'Nia Miller, and in the BBC/HBO historical award-winning drama series GENTLEMAN JACK created by Sally Wainwright and starring Suranne Jones.

Tune in to hear Khadija interview former Apprentice rival, 2018 winner and owner of luxury swimwear brand sianmarie.com, Sian Gabbidon. Khadija and Sian discuss what it takes to be successful in business and how the advantages and disadvantages of scaling a business. Sian shares with you her experience from winning The Apprentice 2018 and securing Lord Sugars £250,000 investment, what it’s meant for her business and her personal life. Join in and learn business lessons from two successful female entrepreneurs and business owners. KEY TAKEAWAYS After winning The Apprentice 2018 Sian’s business grew massively. The change in scale meant that her workload both customer-facing and behind the scenes increased. It is easy for people on social media to look at Sian’s life and see it as a success, however, they do not see how much time and effort is going into making her a success. Upscaling the business as a result of winning the apprentice and securing investment has drastically changed Sian’s workflow. Prior to The Apprentice, Sian was working on her own time scale, now she is having to become more organised. A structure which she is learning to adapt too. Although Sian is fully involved in the business side of things, she is still designing. That is what she loves to do and she enjoys to create new designs for her brand. Although, sometimes these designs do not always turn out as she envisions them. A career-high was seeing Michelle Keegan wearing one of her swimwear pieces. Despite gifting different celebrities and influences, Sian was unaware that Michelle would be wearing one of her pieces. This solidified that she was doing a good job in the industry. Although things for Sian's business are on the up, she is often pressured by others to expand her business even further. Whilst this is something Sian envisions for her company's future, she also stresses the importance of building her brand and cementing themselves within the fashion industry. As a young girl, Sian was keen to have her own retail shop, however, since the expansion of social media and the ease of running a store online, her opinion on this has now changed. Although, she is now planning to have her swimwear stocked in already established retailers also. Despite saying that Beyonce has always been her idol, Sian is now thinking from a business perspective. In terms of brand awareness, Sian would love to see a member of the Kardashians wearing one of her pieces, from a business perspective, something like this would sell out her range. Sian is using her newfound success and fame to give back to her local community. As a young girl finding relevant work experience in the fashion industry was difficult. She has now given the opportunity to two young girls and they are able to get a real insight into how a business is run. Sian’s business is run from Leeds and finds it has not been necessary to relocate to London like once thought since she has her own contacts in the local area which she has formed solid business relationships with. A double-edged sword that comes with her fame and success, is the negativity she faces online with internet Trolls. Although at times she wishes to retaliate and defend herself. Her partner is quick to calm her down and it is soon forgotten about, she is focusing on being successful. BEST MOMENTS “Hustle until your haters ask if you’re hiring”. [when describing how Lord Sugar has helped her along her business journey] “Great to have a mentor and a board of people to give advice” “I am a businesswoman and designer. I need a team of people to help to get it out there” “It is a long process. It’s the first step of this crazy journey that was never going to happen. The retailer side. A new challenge that could lead to great things” VALUABLE RESOURCES https://sianmarie.com/ ABOUT THE HOST Keep it real with Khadija is an interview-based podcast hosted by Khadija Kalifa.
