Hlaup er hafið úr Eystri Skaftárkatli en hlaup úr þeim vestari hefur verið í gangi síðustu daga. Við hringdum í Magnús Tuma Guðmundsson, prófessor í jarðeðlisfræði. til að fá nánari fréttir. Við spurðum líka út í landris við Öskju og hléið eða endalokin, hver veit, á gosinu í Geldingadölum, en enginn virkni hefur verið síðan á fimmtudag. Við töluðum svo aðeins um dans, nánar tiltekið dansverkið Dagdrauma sem ætlað er börnum. Dagdraumar er annað verk tvíeykisins Ingu Marenar og Júlíönnu Láru en þær hafa starfað saman lengi. Við hringdum í Ingu Maren Rúnarsdóttur, sem er stödd í Danmörku, heyrðum aðeins af Dagdraumum og því verkefni sem hún er að vinna að í Danmörku og nýttum tækifærið til að spyrja hana út í mannlífið þar ytra, en Danir hafa nú aflétt öllum Covid takmörkunum. Það fór varla framhjá nokkrum manni að fyrir helgi snéri sænska ofur poppsveitin ABBA aftur með tvö ný lög og kynningu á væntanlegri tónleikasýningu. Herlegheitin voru kynnt með viðhöfn á viðburðum víða um heim, m.a. hér á Íslandi, eins og við heyrðum af hér í þættinum sl. föstudag, en Íslendingar komu víðar við í þessu verkefni og ein þeirra er Svana Gísladóttir sem búsett er í London og starfar þar. Við heyrðum í Svönu og fengum að vita hvað hún er að gera með ABBA og hvernig er að kom að slíku risaverkefni. DO YOU HAVE FEELINGS? Judy, Linda and Teresa are less than thrilled with the finale of “Vagabond” (배가본드), an SBS action "thriller" starring Lee SeungGi and Suzy. Sorry that Judy sounds like she's recording in a cave. We may eventually need to get proper mixing equipment for our microphones. For the season finale of a drama that made such a big deal about how badass the main character is, the action scenes are rather lackluster . Judy is extremely disappointed that Dalgeon (Lee SeungGi) didn't kill someone with his lucky bullet necklace. COME ON! Við byrjuðum daginn á léttum nótum og ræddum við hina mikilfenglegu Gógó Starr um Dragkeppni Íslands 2019 en frestur til að skrá sig til þátttöku rennur út í dag. Við forvitnuðumst m.a. um það hvernig keppendur eru valdir og hvað gerir fabjúlös dragdrottningar og dragkónga? Landhelgisgæslan hefur verið með flygildi á sínum vegum hér á landi undanfarnar vikur sem notað hefur verið við eftirlit á hafsvæðum. Flygildið hefur reynst vel og Ásgrímur L. Ásgrímsson framkvæmdastjóri aðgerðasviðs Landhelgisgæslunnar kom til okkar og segja okkur betur frá þessu. Víkingur Heiðar Ólafsson, píanóleikari og listrænn stjórnandi Reykjavík Midsummer music, kom til okkar í heimsókn. Hann sagði okkur frá sjálfum sér og þessari margverðlaunuðu miðsumarhátíð. Íslenska handprjónasambandið á núna í áhugaverðri baráttu vegna íslensku lopapeysunnar. Íslenskir prjónarar hafa sótt um vernd á afurðarheitinu íslensk lopapeysa því mikið er prjónað af peysum erlendis, einkum í Kína, og þær svo seldar hér sem íslenskar.
