WHO IS THE ENEMY WITHIN? Twenty years ago, Michael Savage warned about the ENEMY WITHIN in his prophetic book "The Enemy Within: Saving America from the Liberal Assault on Our Schools, Faith, and Military." Today, Trump is working to expose and defeat the forces that are destroying our Republic. Savage then sounds the alarm over the current political climate in America and the potential dangers of a Kamala Harris presidency. He accuses Harris and the current administration of causing wars and deaths in Ukraine and Russia, as well as the unconstitutional use of the military against US citizens. He criticizes Harris for her past roles as San Francisco DA and California Attorney General. She decriminalized street defecation and failed to address the drug cartels. He warns listeners not to vote for Harris, believing she would lead to fascism. He compares the current situation to historical events such as the Opium Wars and the Boxer Rebellion, and urges Americans to wake up to the alleged brainwashing and lies of the politicians. He concludes by reading from his book "Stop Mass Hysteria" to explain the hatred against Donald Trump. He dismisses claims that Trump is anti-semitic. He points out the hatred that the Left has spread and warns that we cannot survive another four to eight years of the Democrats. He then warns that the Left has been working to destroy the nation from within by weaponizing the DOJ and breaking down our borders at the DHS.
Contributing writer Jake Fogleman and I cover a pair of resurfaced clips from Kamala Harris' tenure as San Francisco DA that show her taking a more pragmatic view of the Second Amendment and school security policy. We also discuss how party control of the House of Representatives next year could come down to a race in Maine where an incumbent Democrat's new support for an assault weapon ban could cost him his seat. We finish the show with a round-up of stories dealing with an investigation into gunmakers sharing gun owners' private data with political operatives, a Democratic Senate candidate's range day campaign event going awry, and how the Second Circuit has again ruled on New York's concealed carry restrictions. In this podcast, Jeff describes his hectic week which started with the startling news of the arrest of a 50 year fugitive, “El Mayo” Zambada and the murky circumstances around his capture. Jeff ended up in court in Chicago to represent Joaquin Guzman Lopez, the son of “El Chapo” and the second person on the plane with El Mayo when they touched down in Texas from Mexico.Jeff also discusses the anointment of Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee, after it became crystal clear that Biden was set up in that debate, only to be forced out. Harris is incredibly unlikable and incompetent, which is why she was trounced in the 2020 primaries; only if she could be installed at the last minute, without winning a single primary or vote, could the liberal press – which lampooned her for 3 ½ years – turn on a dime and push her cackling carcass across the finish line, all the while hiding her flaws. To Jeff, what hurts the most is Harris' horrible treatment of Blacks in California when she was the San Francisco DA and the state's Attorney General: Blacks make up 6% of the population in California and Harris ensured that the prison population was 29% Black, including mothers whose children were truant from school and non-violent marijuana defendants. That Blacks can forgive her for this treatment is both stupefying and sad. Finally, Jeff discusses the imminent war between Iran and Israel and notes that this is finally the time for the West to rid the world of the global cancer that is the Iranian regime and its terror proxies. Iran has only grown to become more of a threat globally and now may have nuclear weapons: if not now, when can the mullahs be destroyed, as they promise to kill civilians inside Israel, after directing the Hamas October 7 terror attack which killed citizens from all over the world?
On this week's episode of 'The Saturday Show with Jonathan Capehart': It's decision time. Vice President Harris has secured the Democratic presidential nomination and is spending this weekend interviewing potential running mates. Meanwhile Donald Trump is trying to claw back some momentum with a rally in Atlanta, as he continues to trash her intelligence. Good luck with that. Veteran political advisor Valerie Jarrett joins me with insight on Harris's VP choices, and the role of race and gender in this election. Plus, I have something to say about Trump's racist ramble at the NABJ convention where he said Kamala Harris "turned Black." Then, I'll discuss all this nonsense with Charles Coleman Jr., Danyel Smith, former Sen. Doug Jones and Tara Setmayer. Lastly, did Kamala Harris really put the parents of kids who missed school in jail? No! I'll set the record straight on what she did as San Francisco DA. All that and more on “The Saturday Show with Jonathan Capehart.”
pWotD Episode 2637: Kamala Harris Welcome to Popular Wiki of the Day, spotlighting Wikipedia's most visited pages, giving you a peek into what the world is curious about today. With 1,508,623 views on Sunday, 21 July 2024 our article of the day is Kamala Harris.Kamala Devi Harris (born October 20, 1964) is an American politician and attorney who is the 49th and current vice president of the United States since 2021, under President Joe Biden. She is the first female vice president and the highest-ranking female official in U. S. history, as well as the first African-American and first Asian-American vice president. A member of the Democratic Party, she was previously a U. S. senator from California from 2017 to 2021 and the attorney general of California from 2011 to 2017. Born in Oakland, California, Harris graduated from Howard University and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She began her law career in the office of the district attorney (DA) of Alameda County, before being recruited to the San Francisco DA's Office and later the city attorney of San Francisco's office. In 2003, she was elected DA of San Francisco. She was elected attorney general of California in 2010 and re-elected in 2014. Harris served as the junior U. S. senator from California from 2017 to 2021; she defeated Loretta Sanchez in the 2016 Senate election to become the second African-American woman and the first South Asian American to serve in the U. S. Senate. As a senator, Harris advocated for gun control laws, the DREAM Act, a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, federal legalization of cannabis, as well as healthcare and taxation reform. She gained a national profile for her pointed questioning of Trump administration officials during Senate hearings, including Trump's second Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh.Harris sought the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, but withdrew from the race prior to the primaries. Biden selected her to be his running mate, and their ticket went on to defeat the then incumbent president and vice president, Donald Trump and Mike Pence, in the 2020 election. Harris and Biden were inaugurated on January 20, 2021. After the withdrawal of Biden from the 2024 presidential election, Harris launched her own campaign for president with Biden's endorsement. If elected, she would become the first female and first Asian-American president of the United States, and second Black American president after Barack Obama. This recording reflects the Wikipedia text as of 01:48 UTC on Monday, 22 July 2024.For the full current version of the article, see Kamala Harris on Wikipedia. This podcast uses content from Wikipedia under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License.Visit our archives at wikioftheday.com and subscribe to stay updated on new episodes.Follow us on Mastodon at @wikioftheday@masto.ai.Also check out Curmudgeon's Corner, a current events podcast.Until next time, I'm neural Kajal.

We were joined this week by former San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin (3:55-53:40). We discussed how his childhood experiences led him to become a public defender and then to launch a longshot bid to become the District Attorney of San Francisco, his historic election and becoming one of the faces of progressive prosecution in the country, the politics behind his eventual recall from that position, and the current state of progressive prosecution in the U.S.

San Francisco's DA has filed corruption charges against two former City workers accused in a bribery scheme. It's the latest in a series of charges against a number of City workers that all started with the arrest of former PUC head Mohammed Nuru. This latest case isn't connected to Nuru at all, but the number of cases doesn't seem to be slowing down. For more on this, KCBS Radio's Bret Burkhart and Patti Reising spoke with KCSB insider Phil Matier
In Part Two of my conversation with Chesa Boudin, we explore how his experiences as a child have informed his approach to criminal justice, and his efforts to seek reforms to how we engage with both the accused and the victims of crime. We also discuss the importance of communicating – both providing data and sharing stories – to help people understand context and demand policies that keep us all safer. And we touch on the challenges of actually implementing change in the face of the status quo. Chesa Boudin is former San Francisco DA and now founding executive director of the newly created Criminal Law & Justice Center at UC Berkeley School of Law.
In this episode I discuss the new DA in San Francisco Brooke Jenkins ands my thoughts on her and the latest incident with the security guard shooting shoplifter Banko Brown. In 2019, George Gascón resigned from his position as San Francisco DA, moved to Los Angeles and ran against incumbent Jackie Lacey for DA as a reformer. Gascón had gone from a traditional “tough on crime” beat officer to Police Chief to reform DA. He had seen first hand how the traditional approach did not work. That mass incarceration was not only expensive, but it failed to protect the community. However, since winning the race in 2020, he has faced opposition from police and holdover DA's and other conservative interests. At the time of recording this podcast, it was unclear whether the recall would qualify for the November ballot – but regardless, the expectation is that the opposition would continue. Listen as George Gascón talks about his journey from police officer to reform DA and what he believes he has accomplished so far and what needs to happen in the system.
Susan cohosts with Michael and discuss the past weeks news much of it involving Donald Trump. They are then joined by former San Francisco DA, Chesa Boudin who was recently the succesful target of a right-wing recall effort costing a record 7 million dollars.
With every day that passes, we are learning more and more about the blatant corruption that has overtaken the San Francisco DA's office. And what's wild here, is that Democrats can't blame Republicans for this corruption, because it's conservative Democrats, from top to bottom, running the whole thing. We just learned that the new DA, Brooke Jenkins, was literally paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to be the face of the effort to recall Chesa Boudin, but presented herself to the public as an unpaid volunteer. Once she then took the office that she paid to undermine, she then immediately began firing every prosecutor and staffer that had anything to do with prosecuting police or overseeing wrongful convictions and replacing them with people that have a long history of actually protecting the police. Let me unpack and explain it all.
The new San Francisco DA, Brooke Jenkins, is wasting no time in taking on the fentanyl issues in the city as she announced yesterday that she would pull back over 30 plea offers that she says are too lenient for those accused of selling the drug. San Francisco residents voted overwhelmingly Tuesday to recall District Attorney Chesa Boudin, one of the nation's most progressive top prosecutors.Partial results from the San Francisco Department of Elections on Tuesday night showed the recall measure — also known as Proposition H — had the support of nearly 60% of voters, with 40% voting against it. Boudin sought to reform the criminal justice system, ending the use of cash bail, stopping the prosecution of minors as adults, and focused on lowering jail populations amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Another round of primaries across the country teases more of what to expect once we get to the midterms. In California, we saw a turnout problem for Democrats and a blow to progressive district attorneys with a successful recall of the San Francisco DA. Crime and homelessness figures to be a top issue in the LA mayor's race and we'll tell you how Trump's picks fared. David Siders, national political correspondent at Politico, joins us for top takeaways. Next, more than 90 women and girls have filed $1 billion in claims against the FBI for the mishandling of the Larry Nassar investigation. Nassar was the doctor to the national woman's gymnastics team when concerns were reported to the FBI and they didn't take the claims seriously, didn't document evidence received and made false statements to cover their mistakes in the investigation. Louise Radnofsky, sports reporter at the WSJ, joins us for more. Finally, a new study is showing that a drug approved to treat Type 2 diabetes is also extremely effective at reducing obesity. The drug called tirzepatide works on hormones that help control blood sugar and sends signals to the brain that the stomach is full. People in the study lost as much at 21% of their body weight, 50-60 pounds in some cases. Karen Weintraub, health and medicine reporter at USA Today, joins us for how this drug has the potential to change the way doctors treat weight related issues. On June 7, 2022, San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin will face a recall vote. The campaign to remove him from office is backed by wealthy donors and has strong support from different communities, but it's not deeply rooted in fact. The basic premise for the recall: critics claim that crime is on the rise, and the DA's embrace of decarceration — a policy that seeks to reduce the number of people we send to jail — is directly to blame. However, in 2021, just 4.2% of the incidents that were reported to SFPD resulted in an arrest, and many residents grumble that the police are on a wildcat strike. To learn more about what's really driving this recall, I interviewed Boudin and Mission Local Managing Editor Joe Eskenazi.

San Francisco's socialist new D.A. has vowed not to prosecute quality of life crimes, such as public urination, defecation, blocking sidewalks, etc. I guess San Francisco didn't have enough of that, but not to worry, thanks to it's new intersectionalist, socialist District Attorney, Chesa Boudin, it'll have more than enough for all San Franciscans.https://www.foxnews.com/politics/san-franciscos-newly-elected-da-pledges-not-to-prosecute-public-urination-other-quality-of-life-crimeshttps://www.city-journal.org/san-francisco-crimeWebsite : www.radiobaloney.com Youtube : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzk18m2eP8NiT-rp_7Hu_PA/aboutBitchute : https://www.bitchute.com/channel/t3bYMIC3ygoL/Minds : https://www.minds.com/radio_baloney/?referrer=radio_baloneyDaily Motion : https://www.dailymotion.com/dm_e6b6b940dce04dec7af03b7ecb11a53aD.Tube : https://d.tube/#!/c/radiobaloney01Spreaker podcast : https://www.spreaker.com/show/the-richie-baloney-showSpotify : spotify:show:7dzAquhzWqc06eHEXEyUyEApple podcasts : https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-richie-baloney-show/id1479355356?uo=4Google Podcasts : https://www.google.com/podcasts?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuc3ByZWFrZXIuY29tL3Nob3cvNDAzNjc4MS9lcGlzb2Rlcy9mZWVkPodcast addict : http://podplayer.net/?podId=2452790Castbox : https://castbox.fm/channel/id2360272
I had the good fortune of interviewing San Francisco DA Candidate Chesa Boudin, right before the Nov 5th election. District Attorney for San Francisco is an incredibly powerful position (just ask Kamala Harris!) from which many lives will either be saved and given a second chance, or more bodies (black, white, brown) will continue to be fed into the carceral system. Moreover, if a truly progressive DA, like Chesa is elected it will allow him to enact policies (notably an end to cash bail) that will challenge the rest of America to emulate, exceed or at least consider what changes could be made to the US criminal justice system, that would focus less on CRIMINAL and more on justice. Chesa was kind enough to join the Arts of Travel Podcast to discuss his vision on how he wants to reform criminal justice; and willing to take tough questions. We discuss homelessness, mental health, the work of Ruth Wilson Gilmore (prison abolition), The work of Virginia Eubanks (predictive algorithms and tech), and activists like Standing Rock and J20 For more on Chesa, I highly recommend checking out his website (and if you're in San Fransisco, volunteering!) you can find that here: https://www.chesaboudin.com/ And for articles used to research this interview, I highly recommend: • https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/17/magazine/prison-abolition-ruth-wilson-gilmore.html • https://www.yalelawjournal.org/forum/the-punishment-bureaucracy • https://lausan.hk/2019/reading-guide-police-prison-abolition-hong-kong/ • https://theappeal.org/san-francisco-deputy-public-defender-chesa-boudin-announces-run-for-district-attorney/ PS: Its the position of Asia Art Tours that many DAs (such as Cy Vance, Eric Holder, Kamala Harris and others) , claim to be 'progressives' when they are anything but! We despise DA's like Vance, Holder and Harris, who will happily punish the weak but are terrified of prosecuting the powerful, and dare to call themselves "progressive". Though we support Boudin now, should he turn out to be a timid, milquetoast, DA, we will happily invite critics on to excoriate his record. For now he has our support... but we'll be watching to see if his words on the campaign trail, match his deeds if he makes it into office).
