Welcome back to Making Bank. In today's episode, we have a compilation of previous episodes with John Madsen, Sergey Young, Glenn Dawson, Dr. Anthony Balduzzi, Nicholas Bayerle,  Gary Brecka and JJ Virgin and in this episode, you will hear tips and tricks from top entrepreneurs about the guide to success.   (3:12) John Madsen We can make our lives much easier if we let go of the need to prove our worth based on how hard we work. Instead, focus on working smart and recognizing your value without overexerting yourself.   (6:36) Sergey Young The US has one of the most inefficient and expensive healthcare systems in the world, spending 18% of its GDP on healthcare. In contrast, the UK, with better health outcomes, spends only 8% of its GDP on healthcare. Singapore and Japan, which are among the top countries in terms of lifespan and healthspan, spend just 5% of their GDP on healthcare. This highlights the need for more efficient healthcare spending to achieve better health outcomes.   (12:03) Glenn Dawson In the morning, instead of relying on sugar and insulin, your body runs on adrenaline and norepinephrine. This makes you completely focused and full of energy, allowing you to crush your work. It's an incredible feeling. When you lift weights with these hormones active, you become a beast in the gym. To harness this power, consider starting your day with a healthy routine that boosts your natural energy levels and sets you up for a productive day.   (16:12) Dr. Anthony Balduzzi People often suggest eating certain superfoods or following specific diets, but a different approach can be more effective. Start by asking yourself, "What is my schedule? What does a day in my life look like?" Then, design a meal plan that seamlessly fits into your routine with the least amount of friction. This personalized approach ensures that healthy eating becomes a sustainable part of your lifestyle.   (21:16) Nicholas Bayerle Top speakers who travel three weeks out of the month have found that hydration is the number one factor that transforms their energy levels. Staying well-hydrated enables them to speak on stage for 8 to 12 hours at a time with sustained energy and focus. Prioritizing hydration can significantly enhance performance and endurance.   (25:03) Gary Brecka Most major studies on adolescence indicate that the experiences during puberty significantly influence adulthood. In other words, if a child is morbidly obese during puberty, their chances of remaining obese for the rest of their life increase dramatically. Therefore, addressing obesity early can have long-term benefits for maintaining a healthy weight into adulthood.   (28:07) JJ Virgin It's important to focus on adding nutrients before considering what to remove from your diet. Ensure you're getting enough protein and healthy fats. Remember, every diet, whether it's vegan, paleo, or something else, has its own version of junk food. Many people have been misled by false information and, after trying so hard for so long to discern the truth, have ultimately given up. This is truly disheartening. It is crucial to remain vigilant, seek out reliable sources, and always verify information before accepting it as true.   (8:53) Frank Llosa “This is the world's first ethanol-free alcohol, which might seem like a confusing concept. Traditionally, all beers, vodkas, wines, and other alcoholic beverages consumed over the past thousand years have been ethanol-based.”   (15:32) Dave Asprey Adjust your fasting routine just as you would adjust your exercise regimen. Just as you wouldn't embark on an intense workout if you're on the verge of a cold, it's important to tailor your fasting accordingly. Listen to your body and adjust your fasting schedule based on your current physical and emotional state for the best results.   (20:29) Barton Scott For those who may not be focused on their health, here are some warning signs to be aware of: constipation, headaches, mood instability, and easily triggered anger. These symptoms could indicate issues such as iron overload or magnesium deficiency. It's important to recognize that many health issues can be traced back to specific nutrient imbalances.   (23:20) Sergey Young Even today, it is possible for most people to live a healthy and happy life for up to 100 years, unless they are particularly unlucky in the genetic lottery. Unfortunately, genetics can sometimes play a role, but generally, a long and healthy life is achievable.   (31:15) Ariel Garten Meditation is a practice that leads to healthy and positive mind states. It's not something strange or mystical; it's a regular practice that can significantly improve your mental well-being. Incorporate meditation into your daily routine to experience these benefits.   (35:42) James Altucher There is an interconnected flow between the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of our being. If there's a disruption, such as a disconnect between the mental and emotional aspects, it can negatively impact overall well-being. There's a good chance that we're all going to live a lot longer than we think. Or at least, that's what Harry's guest Sergey Young argues in his book The Science and Technology of Growing Young. Young is an investor who leads a $100 million venture capital fund called the Longevity Vision Fund, and through his investing, he says he meets innovators who are coming up with the technologies that will extend our healthy lifespans not just by years but by decades. Those technologies include better drugs, of course, but also gene editing to rejuvenate our DNA and methods for regenerating or replacing old organs, just the way you'd replace the worn-out parts in an old car. All these technologies are coming faster than we think, Young says, and the big question is how widely they'll be available and whether everyone who wants them will have access to them. That's the theme of Young's work at the Longevity Vision Fund, which focuses on companies creating affordable and accessible life extension technologies. For a full transcript of this episode, please visit our episode page at http://www.glorikian.com/podcast Please rate and review The Harry Glorikian Show on Apple Podcasts! My imaginative and optimistic mind would get excited by all the invitations, activities, support, and projects for friends and family - so much to the detriment of my time. I had a real case of fear of missing out (FOMO), missing out on something fun. It was only when I learned about the joy of missing out (JOMO), did I realize what an important tool this is and I'm excited to share this with you in this episode. ‘Women need security to feel safe because when a woman feels safe, she can open her heart. She doesn't feel safe when a man comes and goes. She feels like has to start all over. When a woman doesn't feel safe, she can't make as much estrogen and estrogen is the magic hormone that allows her to be orgasmic. So you get to much higher levels of multi-orgasmic pleasure if a woman feels loved and safe. And ironicall, if a woman feels loved and safe at a very high level, a man's hormones that get produced in his body are different than regular sex. There is research on this where is shown that married men who have a good sex life, their body makes a hormone after sex called prolactin. For a man, prolactin is the monogamy hormone. So when people ask what makes men monogamous? The answer is getting married and having a successful relationship.' - John Gray     In this episode we will dig into the roles hormones play in relationships, top tips and tools for finding the right partner, creating and maintaining the most profound lasting relationship, and the relationship between the human genome and expression of masculinity and femininity.      Want to learn how to live a SMARTER, HEALTHIER (and, let's be honest, more EXCITING) LIFE? with top tips just for you! Steal My 10 Hacks to Improve Your Life & Longevity Playbook with top tips just for you - www.longevity-and-lifestyle.com/10hacks     For Podcast Show Notes & Transcript visit: https://longevity-and-lifestyle.com/podcast-99-john-gray     ****   Follow John Gray on:   Attend John Gray's LIVE Relationship Weekend – March 4-5, 2023 – great place to start! Most of us would like to live longer lives, but only if those extra years are healthy and happy.  The science of longevity may seem relatively new, but in fact, we've been increasing our own lifespans for the last century or so. We've gone from an average age of about 35 to something closer to 70-75 years, and that trend shows no sign of slowing down. In today's episode of The Greatness Machine, Darius chats with Sergey Young, longevity investor, speaker, and author of The Science and Technology of Growing Young about our desire to live longer and happier lives, and his mission to extend the healthy lifespans of one billion people worldwide.  You'll discover the origins of longevity research and what brought a longtime investor such as Sergey into this field. You'll learn five habits we should adapt to promote longevity and health in our own lives. You'll also learn why Sergey believes that greater longevity is inevitable, as well as a concept he calls "the near horizon of longevity innovation." Join Darius and Sergey as they discuss finding the fountain of youth, being young, and feeling young!  Topics include: The origins of longevity research and what brought Sergey to the field as an investor Five things we should be doing to improve our own longevity Creating and extending life and something Sergey calls "the near horizon of longevity innovation” And other topics… Connect with Sergey: Website: https://sergeyyoung.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/sergeyyoung/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/SergeyYoung200 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sergeyyoung200/  Connect with Darius: Website: https://therealdarius.com/ Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dariusmirshahzadeh/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/whoompdarius/ YouTube: https://therealdarius.com/youtube Book: The Core Value Equation https://www.amazon.com/Core-Value-Equation-Framework-Limitless/dp/1544506708 Learn more about your ad choices. ‘We recognize that people with asthma breathe faster, often harder, have upper chest breathing, irregular breathing, and mouth breathing. It's feeding into conditions, but it's also activating a stress response. People with asthma don't just have asthma. As asthma severity increases, so does tiredness. They're more likely to have disrupted sleep, to be waking up during the middle of the night, especially if they have uncontrolled asthma and oftentimes that's overlooked, and taking medication.  Of course, medication will help to control their asthma, but it's not getting to the underlying issue of a poor breathing pattern and it's not happening their sleep.' - Patrick McKeown, creator, CEO and Director of Education and Training at Oxygen Advantage®, Director of Education and Training at Buteyko Clinic International and President of Buteyko Professionals International.   Patrick McKeown is the creator, CEO and Director of Education and Training at Oxygen Advantage®, Director of Education and Training at Buteyko Clinic International and President of Buteyko Professionals International.   He is a leading international expert on breathing and sleep, and author of bestselling books including The Oxygen Advantage.   His focus is to empower more people every day to breathe better, feel better and achieve their potential.   Patrick designed MyoTape from 20 years' experience in breathing for better sleep.   Want to learn how to live a SMARTER, HEALTHIER (and, let's be honest, more EXCITING) LIFE? with top tips just for you! Steal My 10 Hacks to Improve Your Life & Longevity Playbook with top tips just for you - www.longevity-and-lifestyle.com/10hacks!     For Podcast Show Notes & Transcript visit: https://longevity-and-lifestyle.com/podcast-97-patrick-mckeown     ****   Follow Patrick on: Myotape - https://myotape.com/  Buteyko Clinic - https://buteykoclinic.com/  Oxygen Advantage (Website) - https://oxygenadvantage.com/  Oxygen Advantage (YouTube Channel) - https://www.youtube.com/@OxygenAdvantage      Follow Claudia on: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/longevityandlifestyle/?hl=en Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/longevityandlifestyle/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZF-s8jsUejc0TpVqnFE1lQ/featured LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/claudia-von-boeselager/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/LongevityLifest Website: https://longevity-and-lifestyle.com/     Past guests on The Longevity & Lifestyle Podcast include Dr. David Perlmutter, Dr. Amy Killen, Sergey Young, Dr. Dale Bredesen, Dr. Kristen Willeumier, Dr. Louise Newson, Dr. Kien Vuu, Dr. Carolina Reis, Marie Diamond, Nikolina Lauc, Morri Chowaiki, Leslie Kenny, Maziar Brumand, Fiona O'Donnell-McCarthy, Mohamed Massaquoi, Nick Potter, Dr. Pamela Kryskow, Dr. Julia Mirer, Dr. Julia Jones, Dr. Austin Perlmutter, Dr. Richard Johnson, Isabella Channing, Dina Burkitbayeva, Raewyn Guerrero, Mario Chamorro, Mariko Bangerter, Harris Khan, Juraj Kocar, Dr. Stephanie Manson Brown, Dr. Mohammed Enayat, Dr. Molly Maloof, Helen Reavey, Elena Letyagina, Dana Frost, Niall Breslin, Dr. Limor Goren, Larisa Petrini, Leighanne Champion, Mike Bennet, Dr. Louise Swartswalter, Dr. Joseph Antoun and many more!

‘Decision fatigue causes the best of intentions to go out the window. Because our brain can only process so many decisions in a day. For the majority of us, we do not live and work in environments that are optimized for good decision-making. Notifications, interruptions, our attention, and the need to make choices are constantly tested. And as the world becomes more and more hectic, all the more important for us to really, really think about this decision fatigue concept and optimize processes from there to ensure that we are making decisions and choices that really serve us and help us be at our best.' - Claudia von Boeselager, Peak Performance Coach   ****   This episode is brought to you by Airofit.
