the guys can't stop laughing at our #DumbassOfTheDay: a Florida woman who risked it all for a measly $1.50 in an armed robbery gone wrong. Was it worth it? Spoiler: Nope! Tune in as Jeff and Jeremy break down this #EpicFail, roast her life choices, and wonder what's next—robbing a lemonade stand? #FloridaWoman strikes again with this #LowBudgetHeist.
We kicked off with an AI-crafted banger—think Billie Eilish meets Satan in three minutes —that started holy and ended with “good's dumb, evil rules.” It's so Crow-level epic, we gave it four gold stars while wondering if anyone's banged to it yet. Spoiler: Nope, just morning fuckers here. The Kid becomes a musical madman, churning out Dropkick Murphys vibes for St. Paddy's and plotting an all-AI radio station. No humans, just alt-rock, techno, and a grizzled robot DJ named Vince Skinwell spinning chaos. Then shit got wet—squirting medallions for first-timers hit the table, from proud gushers to whiskey dick disasters forcing the splash. Towels on standby, folks. Next up: Snootchie's Vibratoes, the Hooters-killer where waitresses rock numbered jerseys and you control their vibrating panties. Crank it to 200 or edge ‘em ‘til they're sobbing into your fries—genius! We also nerd-raged about “I did it first” dorks (guilty!), laughed at hell's epic concert lineup (suck it, Christian rock), and dropped a “Trump's America, Fuck Yeah!” remix—golden showers, Russian bots, and hypocrisy included. This episode's a glorious mess of evil anthems, wet triumphs, and vibrating insanity. Catch it now. Listen in. Go Deep.
Spoiler: Nope. Eine Folge über Grenzen, Emotionen und echte Ehrlichkeit.
Send us a textBuckle up because today's episode is packed with gold. I've got Rytis Lauris, CEO and co-founder of OmniSend, on the pod, and let me tell you—this guy has been in the e-commerce automation game for over a decade. With more than 120,000 customers worldwide, OmniSend is changing how brands do retention marketing, and today, we're breaking it all down. We're talking about what's working right now in e-commerce, what's straight-up not working, and the biggest shifts happening in automation and customer retention. Rytis shares some seriously insightful takes on how Apple's privacy changes are shaking things up, why email marketing isn't dead (despite what people say), and what brands need to focus on to stay ahead. What does being committed look like? And I don't mean the half-hearted “Sure, I'll try” kind of commitment.Nope, I'm talking about the kind of commitment where you show up no matter what—the world's burning, the sky's falling... Come hell or high water, you're still there doing what you said you'd do.Imagine being so committed that…You're dragging yourself to the gym in whatever you've got on—jeans, dress shoes, who cares—because skipping out? Not an option. You're setting your alarm before the sun even thinks about coming up, just to squeeze in that workout because you know your day will turn into a mess later. You're meal prepping like a pro before heading out the door because you know that just “winging it” doesn't work. What does it take to be that committed? Is it something you're born with? Some kind of secret magic? Spoiler: Nope. It's nothing like that.Feeling that committed is more like a recipe.Get the right mix of ingredients, and boom—you've got something explosive. Something real.Think about it—Wouldn't you like to be so locked in that nothing—and I mean nothing—can shake you?I'll tell you this: it feels amazing. And there are three things you need to get there. Three ingredients that build this kind of unstoppable, can't-be-shaken drive.So... which of these do you have already? And which are you missing?Tune in because you need to know.*Tried every diet out there and nothing sticks?Imagine having a coach checking in on you EVERY day—keeping you on track and adapting your plan to whatever life throws your way.A personalized, 1:1 coaching program designed just for you can really change the game.➤ https://www.mybodytutor.com/coaching/weight-lossWhy don't we talk and see if we're a good fit for each other? For so many years, I was under the (false) impression that getting a boyfriend would solved ALL my problems. I thought that once I got a boyfriend, I would sail away into the sunset and be the happiest girl in the world. Oh boy, was I wrong! My guest today, Rav Randhawa, completely agrees. She's been married, and divorced, and has learnt a lot of lessons along the way. She shares her experience of feeling alone and isolated in a relationship and discusses the lasting effects an unhealthy relationship can have on you. Friends and colleagues Sarah and Wendy talk about why so many of us reach overwhelm and burnout in the care sandwich that is midlife and share their favourite coaching strategies and tools to help busy women scale back on their to-do list and clear some space to bring in more of the things that serve them (listen to Part 2 of this episode, coming soon, for those strategies!). Topics include being v. doing, how to say no more often, how to care less, how to figure out what's no longer serving you (energy drains v. gains), people pleasing and why it's a dishonest way to show up, and how it's not serving you or the people you are pleasing. They also discuss the answer to the most common question they hear from the women they support: Is this IT? (Spoiler: Nope. There's SO MUCH MORE great stuff to come.) 00:38 Last weekend's Rachel Alexandra (G2) at Fair Grounds in New Orleans. Race 12's odds had us asking: What do people know about Hidden Connection? We liked La Crete and North County, but… 2:35 La Crete was injured and has since had what seems to be successful surgery. Props to jockey Joel Rosario. 4:09 Goddess of Fire surprised us—When will we learn?! Trainer Todd Pletcher always has a reason for placing a horse somewhere. 4:43 Trixie did WIN modestly by betting on #7 Turnerloose and #9 Awake at Midnyte to come into the money, mostly because she is coming to adore Nyquist's kids (Nyquist is out of Uncle Mo, another great sire). 5:39 North County's odds at 8-1 made Weej curious, but the move up in class was rough. 7:12 Race 13 was the Risen Star G2, a star-studded race with champs-in-waiting Pappacap, Smile Happy, Zandon, and Epicenter, among others. We were HIGH on Nyquist kid Slow Down Andy and his nice G2 win against Messier at Los Alamitos, but he stunk here! 8:36 Had to put a buck on Russian Tank, just in case that huge long shot came in. (Spoiler: Nope) 9:09 Trafalgar may be dead to Trixie. Smile Happy didn't walk away with a win, but Placed and is still legit. 11:03 Holy Noodle Casserole! Epicenter killed it! His last humiliation by closer Call Me Midnight seems to have fired him up to dominate. Watching the young horses mature is so satisfying. Post Risen Star, we scan the rearranged Derby leaderboard. 13:55 Covering the Hyacinth Stakes, a Japanese Derby prep, and also the G1 February Stakes in Japan. We got the year's first Breeders Cup Classic win-and-you're-in entrant, 5 year-old colt Cafe Pharaoh, the defending and still-champion of this $2.2M race. 15:44 Moving onto FAT POINTS/FAT PURSES prep races at Oaklawn in Arkansas this weekend, February 26th. We have the Rebel Stakes (G2) at 1 and 1/16 miles on dirt for a purse of $1 million. For the fillies, the Honeybee (G3), a $300K prep for the Kentucky Oaks. 16:49 Weej reviews the Rebel field, including Baffert colt Newgrange—about whom we have Derby-related questions—and Un Ojo, Texas Red Hot, Stellar Tap, Ben Diesel, Chasing Time , Barber Road, Ethereal Road, and Dash Attack. 23:59 Onto reviewing the 6 entrants for the Honeybee, including Optionality, Yuugiri, Secret Oath, Ice Orchid, Free Like a Girl, and Red Queen. 24:53 We love marquis Saturday racing, but… it's never where we earn the mo$t as bettors. Spectacle is fabulous and exciting, but we love a long shot coming in during a weekday claimer! If you haven't checked it out, we just added a new episode—right before this one—to the #historyandscandals playlist (S2 Ep 8). Of course, it includes coverage of the Baffert/Medina Spirit disqualification from the 2021 Kentucky Derby and the consequences. But in that episode, we also examine the loooong history of doping and the Jockey Club's eerily modern concerns about it, as well as cases of a few more dirtbags (in our non legally-binding opinions): a crooked vet, perpetrating pharmacist, and roving doper, um, trainer. We love making jokes, but love
The NFL can slow down now it's already Week Seven. First the guys go around the NFL to discuss Deshaun Watson and Tua Tagovailoa trade rumors. Do we believe the talks of a three way trade with the Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins and Washington Football Team? Aidan LOVES the thought of this trade as an Eagles fan who own the Dolphins first round draft pick. Aidan has a HUGE conspiracy involving the Washington Football Team, Jackson Mahomes and the Sean Taylor ceremony. The football gods are cruel. The Baker Mayfield injury means the return of Case Keemun this time with the Browns. Von Miller had an all time quote about the Browns injured offensive line. This is the Eagles good vibes game of the year. Aidan previews Eagles vs Raiders. Eagles fans may take over Las Vegas. Is this the week Miles Sanders puts up some highlights? Should the Eagles start Gardner Minshew? Spoiler: Nope. The Cowboys have a bye but Kmess is riding high during his recap of win against the Patriots. Mike McCarthy is still so bad at clock management though. Is he worried about the Dak Prescott injury? Then they give their Week 7 NFL Betting Picks presented by OddsCrowd. OK, so you're a film executive in 1991 trying to make a blockbuster hit. You have your bankable action star (Bruce Willis in the title role), your beautiful global locations (Rome! New York! Budapest!), your dastardly villain duo (Richard E. Grant and Sandra Bernhard), wild sets and massive explosions. But then you keep adding...music that makes no sense, actors who just dont...act (or do the opposite and OVERact), slapstick "jokes", weird sound effects, a conspiracy theory plot with so many twists and turns and double crosses it stops making sense, the FBI, the CIA, the Vatican (please, why are you still adding things), a love affair with a nun, AN ART HEIST, LEONARDO DAVINCI, AND A PLAN TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD BY INSTILLING FINANCIAL CHAOS? Seriously, how much do you think that would cost? Spoiler: a lot. Do you think it would be a successful film? Spoiler: Nope. Join your favorite podcasters as we dive into the Bruce Willis (ego)driven film Hudson Hawk, the third installment of our IT'S A DISASTER! Theme. We also cast ourselves as pivotal MTV-IA subversive, candybar-themed secret agents and talk a lot about Girl Scout cookies. It's either this, or hey, you could be swingin' on a star... Work feels like one big game of Survivor these days, doesn't it? So we thought, "Hey, what if we could talk to a real Survivor winner (like CBS' epic show, 'Survivor'!) to see what we can learn from someone that had to face challenges way harder then your average office politics, all while hangry and homeless! This week, Erin Hatzikostas sits down with Survivor Season 24 winner Kim Spradlin-Wolfe (winning Survivior is a HUGE deal ya'll), to discuss what it was like to be on Survivor - through both a win and a loss - and more importantly, what lessons she took away for her own, real-life that she can share with others. Erin kicks things off by asking Kim about her time on Survivor, and how she felt about being thrown into a female/male divide (it was literally men vs women.) Kim discusses how she prepared (or didn't) for the show, and how her upbringing gave her a false sense of what "leadership" actually meant. With trust being such a volatile part of the game, Erin asks Kim how she handled others, both within and outside the game. Kim explains that she tried to build authentic connections with other contestants, so they had some level of trust in each other, even if trust is never truly possible in the game. Erin's daughter, Ella, wrote many of the questions Erin asked of Kim. For example, did playing the game destroy any bad habits? Spoiler: it certainly did. Did they get to bring toothbrushes? Spoiler: Nope! How do you put your emotions behind you? Do you get to wear sunscreen on survivor? They move on to discuss Kim's latest venture - her own design company - and how she decided to reinvent herself post show. Kim explains that during her first time of Survivor, she ran two bridal shops, but realized that it was actually the designing of th shop that she loved the most (selling dresses wasn't for her.) So with the prize money from winning the show, she decided to buy and renovate an old home, a process she enjoyed so much it led to her becoming an interior designer. Kim now focuses full time on interior design and renovation, and she's working on a potential pilot for a home renovation TV show! Kim won Survivor, but more importantly, she found her ikigai. The Exodus story continues! "Let my people go," God says to Pharaoh through Moses and Aaron. But Pharaoh refuses, again and again, to free the Hebrews. And so begin the ten plagues, as the God of Israel takes on the gods of Egypt, culminating in the night of Passover. But as the Hebrews finally pack up and leave in a hurry, will Pharaoh just sit and watch them go? (Spoiler: Nope!)We'll be back in two weeks for part three of the story, as the Hebrews journey into the wilderness, making their way toward the same mountain where God had spoken to Moses in the burning bush.Free text version is available at patreon.com/bsfhc. Scotty B from the SLC joins me today to discuss The Strokes, the one idea I gave him as an example subject days before the recording. Luckily, Scott proves he's not a one-trick pony by taking a slight right turn in the middle of the episode to talk about another band mutually loved by us. The question is, who is it? The other question is, is this episode any good? Spoiler: Nope! Follow Scott on Twitter Actual screenshot of Scott during our recording

One of the trends in vegan nutrition is the “alkaline diet”, or the idea that we should be eating a balance of “acidifying” and “alkalizing” foods, with an emphasis on those that are “alkalizing”. In this episode, I go through why the alkaline diet theory is not supported in the research, and also a common myth in the vegan world: the idea that meat is unhealthy because it "acidifies" our bodies. I include material written by vegan strength athlete and PhD in molecular biology, Christine Crumbley.
