The game was announced back in 2019 and there have been no major updates since. BioShock 4 reportedly underwent a major story overhaul at developer Cloud Chamber, but that's it. In other news, Xbox's CEO Asha Sharma has revealed a new Xbox bootup sound and animation, and it should make longtime fans happy. It's the latest, albeit small, change Sharma has made since taking the reins at Xbox, including making significant changes to Game Pass. And in related news, Asha Sharma is also aware Xbox has an exclusivity problem. Xbox has plenty of first-party titles, but under previous CEO Phil Spener, nearly all of their exclusives were to make their way to PlayStation 5 and Switch/Switch 2. That could change if Sharma decides to shift strategy.

Sony is a many-tendrilled corporation, which can be both a blessing and a curse. In today's Daily Fix:For almost a year and a half, we've only had one Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer to to analyze, scrutinize, and hypothesize over, and according to publisher Take-Two Interactive, that's not changing anytime soon. CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed to Bloomberg that the company isn't ready to share more marketing materials until closer to the game's release date, which also hasn't been revealed. Speaking of release dates, Ghost of Yōtei doesn't have one just yet, but more details of the game's plot have been revealed. And finally, the mythical Nintendo DS port of Halo wasn't axed by Microsoft as many believed. According to a developer who worked on it, the game was actually canned by Nintendo.
