Also es gab einiges an Problemen. Nun, wieso, weshalb, warum? Der erzählt ja immer so gerne Geschichten für sehr schwer kranke Kinder von May If you make a wish. Ja, was kommt denn eigentlich noch so? Also Zusammenhalt, Nächstenliebe, Kreativität, Qualität und Emotionen. Neue Figuren, neue Konzepte, neue Erlebnisse. Denn das, was man sät, bekommt man zurück. Hm, Hm hm.

What happens when a perfectly respectable Magic Kingdom restaurant gets a little… Muppified? This week, Stephen pitches a small-scale but high-impact plussing project for one of Liberty Square's most overlooked classics: Columbia Harbour House. No new rides. No massive construction. Just thoughtful storytelling, operational realism, and a whole lot of Muppet chaos.Set during a post–Revolutionary War celebration, this reimagined Harbour House becomes the unofficial headquarters for the classic Muppets, complete with Statler and Waldorf heckling guests from above, the Swedish Chef wreaking havoc in the kitchen, subtle Haunted Mansion tie-ins upstairs, and even a few streetmosphere surprises outside.Along the way, the team breaks down what plussing really means, why smaller updates can sometimes matter more than big e-tickets, and how Disney can honor legacy spaces while still evolving them for modern guests, all while filling the MuppetVision-sized hole in the parks. It's a love letter to thoughtful Imagineering, classic Muppet mayhem, and the idea that even one restaurant can become a story-rich experience.Don't forget to check us out on Instagram!

In this week's episode, Alex, Tim, and guest Bill Mueller discuss one of the strangest Terminator mockbusters, 1990's Class of 1999!1 million Megabytes! Robo-spanking! Impressive run-down locations and production design! Amazing costumes, including a coat that would make Prince jealous! Violent teenage gang members in a lawless land still choosing to go to school for some reason! A school principal endangering his own daughter! Fun pyrotechnics and stunts! Weapons hidden in stubby arms! Green robot fuel! An early Nine Inch Nails needle drop! A kitchen cabinet full of WD-40! Great (but silly) robot FX from Short Circuit's Eric Allard! A mostly unknown cast with the exceptions of Malcolm McDowell, Pam Grier, and Stacy Keach rocking one of the craziest rat tails you've ever seen! Grade A schlock with a fantastic third act, from the director of Commando and accomplished cinematographer Mark Irwin, this tale of technology and education gone wrong plays like George Jetson's worst nightmare! In addition, everyone briefly chats about their mutual enjoyment of James Gunn's Superman, while Bill talks about Brad Pitt's F1, and Alex shares his spoiler-free thoughts on Weapons, Liam Neeson's The Naked Gun, Nobody 2, The Conjuring: Last Rites, Caught Stealing, and the French thriller, Night Call! You can find Death Don't Do Fiction on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. ✦ If you're looking for your next much-needed laugh, Atlanta comedian Joel Byars has plenty of them ready for you at his "Funny Fridays" comedy showcase. The next event in the series is scheduled for August 22 at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center and will feature performances by Lace Larrabee, Carlos Rodriguez, and Emily Holden. Byars recently joined WABE arts reporter Summer Evans to talk more about why he's committed to making our Fridays funny. ✦ Last May, when the pizzeria-arcade chain Chuck E. Cheese announced plans to retire its famous animatronic bands, the backlash was swift. After hearing this outcry, the company promised to keep a few of the bands across the nation. You may be surprised to hear that there was an outcry over Animatronics, but the art form, which brings mechanical and electronic figures to life, continues to hold the public's attention. In fact, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts offers a graduate concentration in Animatronics. It's true. If you're a fan of life-like, magical, moving figures with Dead Eyes (Jon's words, not mine), you don't have to travel far to get your fix. City Lights Collective member Wesley Boutilier brings us the story of a Six Flags Over Georgia ride that recently underwent a significant animatronic upgrade. ✦ Local artist Carl Janes knows that making art isn't a solo effort—it's as much about community as it is about creativity. This week, Jeff and his pals Julia and Tina talk about 70th birthday week at Disneyland - and what an eventful week it was! Jeff was on property Monday through Friday and has a plethora of reports and reviews, and Tina and Julia were at the resort much of the week as well, so we have a lot to talk about. Jeff's family utilized Lightning Lane Premier Pass for their first full day in the parks, and Jeff reviews the experience, the value, and the important questions to answer before you consider this pricey option. We all were able to watch "Walt Disney - A Magical Life," and we break down the controversy surrounding this brand new show which features an Audio-Animatronic Walt Disney, and offer our own reviews of the attraction. We all also tried the latest version of the World of Color dessert party, and we review the dessert experience as well as the latest World of Color show, "Happiness." All this - and more! I'd love to hear from you! To contact Jeff, email comments@mousetalgia.com.

Walt Disney—A Magical Life opened at Disneyland on July 17, 2025 (the 70th anniversary of Disneyland) in the Main Street Opera House (to be rotated with Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln). With Walt Disney One Man's Dream as the opening sequence, this new attraction features the first-ever Audio-Animatronic figure to depict Walt Disney. On July 15, I had the honor of attending a special media preview of this brand new show with the opportunity to view the show twice plus hear from the Imagineers (Tom Fitzgerald and Jeff Shaver-Moskowitz) and Walt Disney Family Museum representatives (Kristen Komoroske) who worked on this new experience.   In this episode, I'm joined by Jack Kendall from DSNY Newscast to discuss this new attraction, including plenty of honest and detailed analysis about the new Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic and some discussion about the lobby experience (led by Imagineer Kim Irvine) and film sequence.   Thank you to Disneyland for this very special opportunity and for inviting me to attend this media event.   Get bonus content, ad-free episodes, and more at patreon.com/imaginationskyway.   Create your own Disney travel memories with our sponsor KMV Travel.   Subscribe to WDW Magazine and receive 15% off with code SKYWAY when visiting https://www.wdw-magazine.com/shop/?ref=SKYWAY   Tag me and join the conversation below.
