“I want your body,” he said, without even a hello. Flattering and grateful he shared that with me, he didn't like my answer for what he needed to do So then I did a poll on my Instagram asking if you wanted this episode, as I haven't shared anything about fitness or nutrition for a long long time, and it was overwhelming, yes. So I want to share with you the few fundamental steps that keep me in shape, without any fuss or worrying about calorie counting or weighing foods. Oh… and I'm a father of 4, a husband, I run a multi-million dollar business, and simply a dude working at being my best self in all areas of life… I'm NOT a 20-something fitness model, that has all the time in the world to eat and train like so many “influencers” that are regurgitating advice that simply works for them. If you're tired of following mainstream diets, you've done endless hours of cardio and workouts… and you're wondering why a smart, ambitious person like yourself is still struggling to get in shape, this is for you.

How many times have we discussed, debated, and loved the retirement rule of thumb known as the "4% Rule"? Today, we had the opportunity to speak with William Bengen, the creator of that exact rule. And as we learned, there are very good reasons why a seemingly simple concept like this continues to guide retirement planning today. My guest today is Ken Rideout. Ken is a husband and father of 4 kids, the co-host of the top ranked podcast, “The Fight with Teddy Atlas,” and an incredible athlete who in the last 6 months won the Myrtle Beach Marathon in 2:30 and turned 50 the following day, finished 2nd in the world (lost by 50 seconds) at the World Marathon Majors at the London Marathon in 2:29, and won the NYC Marathon Masters Division (40+) in 2:33, literally 1 second in front of Shalane Flanagan. Ken shares his inspiring story of running his first marathon in just under 3 hours (in his 40's). He soon decided to believe and commit to running a marathon in 2:30 -and did just that! Not only that, but he has now run a sub 2:30 marathon and he does this all while having the same responsibilities in life we all do, working, being a partner and raising his 4 children. What I love about Ken and what he shares, is that ANYONE can achieve results like this or the ‘dream goal' you want to achieve. He doesn't have anything special or naturally gifted, he just puts in the work & shows up every day to achieve his goals. PS: Don't let Ken's strong enthusiasm and passion scare you away!! I'd encourage you all to TAKE IT IN and find the lessons in his passion. Listen all the way through and you will find lessons from start to finish! What you'll hear: *Learn how to ‘suffer' to reach your goals, to push past your limits, and to reframe ‘suffering' when training or racing. *How to create your own environment to support you living your best life vs. letting the people and circumstances around you determine your future. *He started running in his 30's and first decided to do an Ironman and did these until 45 years old and then decided to start to shift to just running -At that time for a year, he ran 10 miles a day, one day running 15-20 miles and one day a bike ride of 60-100 miles with a few friends *How to believe in yourself no matter what ‘race' you are going through in life *He shares what you can use to create belief in yourself!! -He has the same fears, anxiety, and thoughts that we all do that wants to keep us inside when it is pouring rain & says, “I don't want to do this.” -He shares a powerful way to overcome that voice. (35 min) *Insight how even professional boxers and fighters have cried before a fight because they are scared, but they still go out there. -Ken would know having interviewed so many UFC fighters! *How to use a tough/scary experience in life (for him boxing) or doing something challenging, to USE that to help you to do other hard things in life. *How he makes the time to train while being a dad, raising kids, working, and living a full life. *Your health is the FOUNDATION of you and living your best life - working out an hour in your day will change your life. *How his diet isn't anything crazy detailed and specific and he still gets these massive running results. Yes, he even eats pie and desserts at the end of his day! -The supplements he uses to help his training & health *Everything he has done is on Strava!! Learn and follow him to get similar results and see his training! *His best advice for anyone looking to get started on their health journey -You NEED to listen all the way until the end to get the BEST advice and insight. Is Offset the greatest Migo? Father Of 4 album review.
While Offset's solo debut is the best of the Migo's, in it's attempt to be introspective trap the album feels atonal, flat, and forced. We were hoping for more Ric Flair. Heartfelt Apology that Just Felt Flat. | Where's My 40 Acres Podcast Phenom Blak Ratchet Host Facebook Twitter Instagram It's EarGasm Time!!! For a while we didn't know if Offset was ever going to get his solo release off the ground. Following behind the other 2 Migos, Off was set to potentially end the trio of releases on a high note. Instead, we ended up with a respectable attempt at an album forcefully one note reflecting on this young man trials and tribulations. Sometimes it feels enduring, and other times it feels like marketing to empaths, or apologetic branding. There's not real attempt a nuance and sadly, no real flair. Even though the album shows the most potential of the three for a better sophomore solo project, it may be more a testament to the hard truth that the Migos are only at their best as Migos.
