The 100th episode is here! For this milestone episode I'll be joined by my good friend Zach Stephenson. Zach would be the man that I'd largely credit with sparking my love for music and live shows, being the first person to take me to local shows and introduce me to a whole different side to music that I didn't even know existed. You may know Zach from his previous band Munky, his work with Skinner (You can hear Zach on Skinner's latest single,'New Wave Vaudeville', which is fantastic if you haven't heard it) and he's currently on tour with Sprints, who just opened for Idles last night. For this episode though, we'll be chatting about Zach's new musical project, lil cis, and his debut album set to be released later this year. It's a fantastically beautiful album from start to finish and features a whole host of amazing musicians playing alongside him on the album. I was listening to it so much and humming it that Zach deleted the link to the mixes on me hahaha.I'll be chatting to Zach about his recording process, the themes of the album, Magaluf, the Euros, touring life and a bunch of other random topics that we always go down on this podcast. Here's to 100 more episodes!lil cis on Spotifylil cis on Instagram Hosted on Acast. The man at this point should need no introduction, but we shall anyway. Munky is one of the founding members and guitarist in the (can we say legendary?) band, Korn. His real name is James Shaffer and he like most of us had a tough time at the beginning of the pandemic. Like every good artist, he took those issues and turned them into art. Last year at the heart of the lockdowns himself and his bandmates self-funded a new album. With that it's time we once again catch up with Munky from Korn.
(03/09/22) - The guitarist discusses how the pandemic resulted in the band's new album 'Requiem,' plus describes a renewed excitement for the creative process and much more
The Everblack Podcast sat down with Munky from Korn to talk about their new album Requiem, it's raw and stripped back approach and how not being able to tour sparked their creativity, how their music has helped their fans through difficult times, upcoming US tour with Code Orange, Knotfest Japan, return to Australia and more!Korn - ‘Requiem' is out on February 4 via Loma Vista Recordings.Pre order here : https://lnk.kornofficial.com/Requiem***EVERBLACK PODCAST***SUBSCRIBE and STREAM HERE: https://linktr.ee/EverblackPodcastwww.everblack.com.auwww.facebook.com/Everblackmedia Thanks to : Deathwish Hotrods & KustomsRW Promotion Blacklight AD Screenprinting Electric WitchEverblack intro theme by Jaymes Jackson

Anthony of the [Transformers University podcast](http://tfu.info) joins us to clear the air about what Transformers fandom is actually like… and about how the fandom may be held together with duct tape. We cover topics spanning the gamut of anime, manga, comics, video games, comics, movies, books, television, and, in general, geek culture. ## What is Livestream for the Cure? Since 2017, Nick and Justin of the [Epic Film Guys](http://www.epicfilmguys.com/) have dedicated a block of time each year to livestream their podcast and other content in order to raise funds for the Cancer Research Institute. This organization researches immunotherapy with the goal of curing all forms of cancer. They are among some of the most reputable charities out there with a rating of 92% on [CharityNavigator.org](https://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.summary&orgid=3417). Last year's Livestream for the Cure 2.0 (**check it out [here](https://fundraise.cancerresearch.org/fundraiser/1583313)**) was a resounding success. In 30 hours live on the air, the Epic Film Guys raised over $5,000 for cancer research and an additional $780 for Perry Johnson, a fellow podcaster who guested on the event and was diagnosed with stage IV esophageal cancer shortly before it began. Because they smashed their goal and because of their amazing community of peers and fellow podcasters, they decided this year's event should be even bigger and better. The 3rd Annual Livestream for the Cure will be held from May 17th through the 19th, and the Epic Film Guys will be live for FORTY hours as they try to hit their biggest goal yet and raise $7,500. The event will be held live at[ https://twitch.tv/epicfilmguys](https://twitch.tv/epicfilmguys) and will include dozens of fellow content creators and podcasters who are joining them to reach this common goal. They will be live for 40 hours from the following times (all are EST): **May 17th: 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM** **May 18th: 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM** **May 19th: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM** Follow the event on[ Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/events/1303610656446934/) or follow[ @livestream4cure](https://www.twitter.com/livestream4cure) on Twitter for updates and guest information.
