Fox Sports' lead College Football analyst Joel Klatt makes his predictions for which teams will make the College Football Playoff and who will lift the trophy as National Champions at the end of the season. He begins the show with his Conference Championship Game Picks before revealing his full predicted bracket – making his picks for each round in the Playoff. Will the Big Ten make it 4 straight National Championships? Will Ohio State and Texas both make the Playoff after playing each other early in the season then going through two of the toughest schedules in the nation? Is Notre Dame poised to break through or could Curt Cignetti and Indiana really go back-to-back? Who will be the surprise teams to make the Playoff after beginning the season outside the Top 10? Klatt also breaks down a difficult debate for the last at-large spot and considers whether this is the year that a 9-3 team finally gets into the field. Rob gave a shout out to one of Megan's former Warrior teammate, Kaia Thiele of UNLV! We talk about Megan's first season in training, media days, playing in front of massive crowds at national powerhouses and competition through the 2025 season. Naturally, we discuss her freshman experience going into her first NCAA Women's Volleyball Tournament and how Head Coach Jamie Morrison dialed in the Aggies for their title run! With the 2026 season coming into view, Megan gives some thoughts as to what we can see competition wise for the Aggies and the gauntlet of a schedule Texas A&M will have to kick off the year! Galen Clavio, Scott Caulfield, and Ryan Phillips jump on CrimsonCast for a quick-hit conversation about the end of Indiana's future football series with Notre Dame and the return of USC-Notre Dame. The episode looks at why the story became such a national talking point, why Indiana football has become a convenient target for broader frustrations about college football scheduling, and whether the criticism lines up with what the College Football Playoff actually rewards. Galen and Scott discuss why the Hoosiers' Big Ten schedule already gives them plenty of major games, while Ryan adds perspective on the USC side of the Notre Dame rivalry and why that series came back together. They also get into Curt Cignetti's scheduling philosophy, the weirdness of games being booked almost a decade in advance, Notre Dame's independence, Big Ten and SEC leverage, and why Indiana's status as defending national champion changes the conversation. The old version of IU needed marquee non-conference games for attention. This version can make other programs come to Bloomington.

On this episode of She Pivots, Amanda talks about the four-year fight to get a tiny piece of cotton past the FDA, why she treats the tampon as game-day equipment rather than something to whisper about, and how Sequel landed in locker rooms from middle schools to Audi Field, Yankees Stadium, and the Indiana Fever. Shannon Simmons just won the national championship in women's pole vault for the 50 to 54-year-old Masters division. She took 20 years off from the sport. Came back two and a half years ago. And won. But this conversation isn't really about pole vaulting. It's about what happens when you come back to something you thought was behind you. What it takes. What it makes possible. And why the thing you put down might still be waiting for you. Shannon is one of my clients and one of my Ohio people — and I was lucky enough to be on the track with her and her daughter the weekend before nationals. I photographed them together. Her daughter is now learning to pole vault. Shannon looked at the photos and cried because she could see her daughter looking at her in a way she doesn't get to see on the day-to-day. 3 Things You'll Take Away: Your past is a blueprint, not a dead end. The skills, discipline, and depth you built doing one thing — pole vaulting, parenting, building a business — are transferable to everything else. Shannon calls it the blueprint. This conversation shows you exactly what that looks like in practice.Being in a different place than everyone else doesn't mean you're behind. Sometimes you're just doing something different. Or ahead. This episode has a Tour de France metaphor that will reframe how you see your own path.Coming back to something you loved is its own kind of winning. Shannon didn't pick up a new sport. She came back to the one that lit her up — and it became the thread that pulled everything else together. Her kids, her marriage, her identity. One reclaimed passion. Everything else followed.

In 2026, Oak Knoll School's Reagan Moore cemented herself as one of the premier 800-meter runners in the United States. The rising senior from Summit, New Jersey claimed her second national title this June, running wire-to-wire to win the New Balance Nationals Outdoor 800 meters in 2:05.00 at Franklin Field. It was a different kind of victory than the one that first put her on the national stage.Just a year earlier, Moore produced one of the most memorable finishes of the indoor season. Sitting 10th at the halfway mark of the Nike Indoor Nationals final, she trusted her race, closed her final 200 meters in 29.68 seconds, and stormed to the national title in 2:05.05.Her sophomore season also produced a New Jersey Meet of Champions record of 2:04.80, the third-fastest indoor 800-meter performance in state history behind only Athing Mu and Ajee Wilson. Since then, she has added three NJSIAA Meet of Champions titles to her résumé while establishing herself as one of the country's most consistent championship racers. The journey wasn't without difficult decisions. Following an outdoor season she knew could be better, Moore stepped away from soccer, a sport she had played since Pre-K, to run cross country for the first time and build the aerobic foundation she believed was missing. Just weeks before winning her second national championship, she also finished third at the New Jersey Meet of Champions, proving that one race never defines an athlete. In this conversation, Reagan reflects on the contrast between leading from the front and chasing from behind, the mindset required to trust a long-term process, and the courage it takes to leave comfort in pursuit of something greater. It's an episode about patience, conviction, and becoming a student of the sport.Tap into the Reagan Moore Special. If you enjoy the podcast, please consider following The Sunday Shakeout on Spotify and Apple Podcasts and leaving a five-star review. Most people think winning builds confidence. But this former Princeton National Champion says it's the other way around. For Lauren, the championship isn't the first thing she remembers when she reflects on how sports shaped her. It's the moments that taught her to believe in herself. Now, as a high school lacrosse coach and parent of three athletes, she's helping young people discover a different kind of victory—one that has nothing to do with the scoreboard and everything to do with who they're becoming. In this episode, Lauren and BJ explore why the mental side of sports deserves as much attention as physical talent, how great coaches learn to see every player differently, why confidence can't be given but can be cultivated, and how redefining victory changes the way we lead, coach, parent, and live. The line that stuck: it's about climbing the mountain and finding our own victories.TOPICS DISCUSSED:The Pivotal Moment That Shaped Her Athletic Career Why the Mental Game Deserves Equal AttentionWhy Failure MattersWhy Hard Things Help KidsThe Invisible Connection Between Coaches, Parents, and Players

This week, Jason is joined by Love Island USA Season 7 star, real estate entrepreneur, and former National Champion baseball player, TJ Palma, for a conversation about building a $35,000-a-month Airbnb business, monetizing nearly 500,000 social media followers, leveraging reality TV into long-term wealth, and why personal branding has become one of the most valuable business assets in 2026. TJ reflects on his journey from college baseball player to entrepreneur, sharing how he discovered content creation at a young age, built a YouTube channel before becoming an influencer, and eventually turned his passion for real estate into a thriving short-term rental business. He explains why he believed social media could become a powerful business tool long before it became mainstream, and how those early experiences helped prepare him for life in the spotlight. Jason and TJ dive into the reality of building a business from scratch, including how TJ got started with Airbnb arbitrage, furnished his first properties using 0% interest credit cards, negotiated with landlords, and scaled from one rental to a business generating more than $35,000 per month. TJ also breaks down the economics behind short-term rentals, why larger homes outperform smaller properties, and how he's expanded beyond Airbnb into property management, boutique hotels, interior design, and real estate investing. The conversation also explores TJ's experience on Love Island USA, from the extensive casting process and flying to Fiji without knowing if he'd make the show to navigating relationships while cameras rolled 24/7. TJ opens up about dealing with anxiety, public criticism, and the pressure of having millions of viewers judge every decision, while explaining how the experience ultimately helped him become more confident both personally and professionally. Jason and TJ also discuss what happens after reality TV, including how TJ grew from just a few thousand Instagram followers to nearly half a million, how he evaluates brand partnerships, and why he's focused on building businesses that outlast social media trends. He shares how he's turned his online audience into long-term revenue through strategic partnerships, educational content, and businesses that align with his personal brand. Beyond business, TJ reflects on financial discipline, entrepreneurship, and building wealth in your twenties. He explains why he continues reinvesting into real estate, how he approaches risk, the importance of surrounding yourself with ambitious people, and why creating multiple income streams has always been his long-term goal. TJ also shares what's next, including expanding his real estate portfolio, growing his hospitality and design businesses, teaching others how to build successful Airbnb companies, and why he'd love another opportunity in reality television with shows like The Traitors or Dancing With the Stars. From building a $35,000-a-month Airbnb business to leveraging reality TV into long-term wealth, TJ reveals what it really takes to build a business, grow a personal brand, and create opportunities that last long after the cameras stop rolling. The Weight You're Carrying — When the Exhaustion Isn't About the WorkThere's a kind of tired that sleep doesn't touch. You take the day off, sleep well, run a clean service — and still drive home feeling heavy. This episode is for the chef who keeps waiting for that weight to lift with one more vacation, one more good hire, one more season that doesn't crush them — and is starting to suspect it never will.Register for the free monthly Culinary Leadership Lab: a live working space for chefs ready to lead without losing themselves "This didn't start as obligation. It started as love."The Tired Sleep Doesn't TouchYou know the feeling. Solid service, food went out, team was locked in, guests were happy. You did everything right and you still feel heavy. Not frantic. Not chaotic. Just weighed down, and you can't quite name it.Here's the reframe that runs through the whole episode: what if that exhaustion isn't a sign you're weak or burned out or not cut out for this? What if it's information? Because the weight you're carrying usually isn't coming from the work. It's coming from something older than that.Emotional Labor Without AuthorshipThe chefs who show up most depleted almost never identify the right source of the weight. It's the hours. It's the team that won't step up. It's a business that never stops taking. All true. But underneath it, almost every time, there's something else — emotional labor without authorship.Managing the energy in a room, holding the container, absorbing the tension, keeping people steady — that's real work, and it costs something. In a kitchen it falls on the leader invisibly, without acknowledgement and without end. What makes it unbearable isn't the labor. It's doing it without ever consciously choosing it. It just accumulates. And what started as care becomes exhaustion. What started as love becomes weight you didn't even remember picking up. The Chef in the Black ForestYears ago, on a balcony in the Black Forest in Germany, Adam watched a chef step out a side door between lunch and dinner prep. No rush. He grabbed a basket and walked into the trees for 40 minutes — foraging, unhurried, present, like the work and the rest were part of the same thing instead of opposites. That image came home to a high-volume kitchen of ticket stacking and noise, and a belief that slowing down had to be earned. Adam kept telling himself the next job would feel right. Better kitchen, better team, better ownership. The next job came, and the one after that, and the feeling didn't — because the problem was never the kitchen. It was what he carried into every kitchen. He'd confused the weight with the love.------------------Stop chasing stars and start building a career that actually works. Join the National Champions at A-B Tech in Asheville for hands-on training that respects the hustle without losing the soul. Real tools for real chefs .------------------- How We Got ConditionedWe came into this with open hearts. We fell in love with the craft, with the choreography of a kitchen firing on all cylinders. But the industry we walked into had a very specific set of ideas about what dedication looked like, and we absorbed them before we had language to question them. Dedication looked like staying the longest. Commitment looked like absorbing the most. Caring looked like never setting anything down.So we learned to conflate sacrifice with love — to treat the weight as proof of our investment. Nobody handed us a contract to hold other people's motivation as our personal responsibility. It happened through the culture, through the chefs who modeled it, through an industry that rewarded endurance over presence and called it excellence. That's not a character flaw. That's conditioning. What's Actually in the BagThe first step out is naming what's actually in there. You carry other people's moods — you read the room before you read the board. You carry other people's motivation, feeling responsible when someone won't perform. You carry unspoken expectations you never agreed to. And you carry the gap between the chef you imagined you'd be and the chef the business requires you to be. Most of us carry it all silently, as if it's just part of the deal. It doesn't have to be.The Authorship ResetWhen did you stop choosing this? Not when did it get hard — when did you move from *I choose this* to *I don't have a choice?* Because choosing nothing is still a choice, and choices can be revisited. The refrain to take from this episode: this didn't start as obligation. It started as love. Love without authorship turns into obligation. Obligation without boundaries turns into resentment. And resentment is just love that's lost its way.The reset is three steps — on paper, not in your head. One: name what you're carrying that isn't yours. Two: name what you're choosing today. Three: release one expectation you never agreed to. Pick one. Just one. The reset isn't a reinvention. It's a reclamation.-----------------------You wouldn't run a kitchen with broken equipment, so why are you redlining your own body? The illusion of world-class strength is built on rigid programming—but the truth is that strict protocols are often what cause elite lifters to plateau or break. Long before he was known as The Swolefessor, Marcellus Williams discovered that textbook biomechanics and conventional gym culture rarely produced championship-level results. By combining a formal education in kinesiology with advanced athlete psychology, he uncovered a hidden variable in human performance that transformed talented lifters into world champions. In this episode of Dave Tate's Table Talk, Marcellus explains why adaptability—not rigidity—is the true key to long-term strength success. In This Episode The Adaptability Paradox – Why changing a program mid-cycle can be the key to breaking plateaus instead of breaking the athlete. Psychological Profiling – How understanding a lifter's mindset before they touch the barbell impacts performance, execution, and retention. Individualized Mechanics – Why copying a world champion's technique is often a mistake and how to build a technical model that fits the individual. Managing Large Coaching Rosters – The systems and processes behind successfully coaching more than 80 lifters without sacrificing elite-level results.
