Having covered his life's story in quite some depth, we set aside all the formalities and jump right into the most revealing sections of Edgar Cayce's revelations organized neatly by topic, read them together and talk shop regarding the spicy details therein. As I'd hoped, Cayce's source gave us quite a bit to talk about, beginning with a multi-faceted view of the now popular concept of the Akashic Record, the system log of the entire universe and most importantly how we, as psychics or magicians, may tap into it. In the extended side of the show we hone in our conversation on angels, what Cayce said about them and how it compares with Hermetic wisdom and traditional descriptions of them. With thousands of documented reports, witnesses and return clients, Edgar Cayce made a name for himself as a healer who, despite being a simple country boy could merely put himself into a deep sleep, almost as if in a coma and begin uttering the words of a mysterious voice which seemed to know the secrets of medicine, the human body and the universe, dispensing its wisdom to all who would call upon it. In many ways, Edgar Cayce did for psychism what Nikola Tesla did for electricity and his legacy still endures today with a number of his highly accurate predictions still coming to pass. In this episode we discuss his early life as a boy in rural Kentucky and how from an occult perspective he may have attained his gifts.
