Spurs made an eye-catching start to the transfer window, Henry assesses the transfers completed so far and whether the club is finally building a squad capable of challenging at the very highest level next season. More importantly, he identifies what Tottenham still need to do before the window closes if they are to bridge the gap to the top of the Premier League. We also delve into some of the biggest transfer stories currently surrounding the club, discussing the prospects of moves for Victor Osimhen, Cody Gakpo, Savinho and Omar Marmoush, separating the genuine possibilities from the speculation. We also reflect on potential exits for Club captain Cristian Romero, Djed Spence and Lucas Bergvall and how the Club will deal with the nature of the negotiations for each individual player. The conversation also takes an entertaining turn as Henry gives his take on Roberto De Zerbi's now-famous use of the word 'BOMBA'—what it reveals about the new Spurs boss, his personality and the infectious energy he is already bringing to the football club. Forced to play almost the entire second half a man down after Kevin Danso was controversially sent off just moments after his introduction, we were indebted to Antonin Kinsky for a handful of incredible saves as we hung in there in front of more than 80,000 fans at the Accor Stadium on Australia's east coast. We still carried a threat, Rio Kyerematen cracking a superb effort against the crossbar, but just as we seemed destined for a second penalty shootout in the space of four days, substitute Jamie Donley hit the post and Richarlison was on hand to slide home the rebound, making it a memorable conclusion to our trip Down Under for fans, players and staff alike. The game also saw Sandro Tonali net his first-ever goal in Spurs colours under Roberto De Zerbi. We also wrapped up the latest transfer news as we discussed whether Cody Gakpo is the Bomba, which Roberto De Zerbi is referring too, we debate the future's of both Cristian Romero, who De Zerbi says there will be a plan in place for his return to London, and whether Richarlison will stay at the club amid fresh doubt cast over his future. Mikey Moore is also understood to be subject to potential interest from Middlesbrough meanwhile Pape Matar Sarr is being admired by Unai Emery, as Roberto De Zerbi's squad starts to take shape ahead of the new season. Columbia-based Boone Electric started in 1936 and was the first electric cooperative in Missouri. It was created during President Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal and was part of the REA project. Boone Electric president Todd Culley joined host Fred Parry in-studio Saturday morning on 939 the Eagle's "CEO Roundtable." While Boone Electric's biggest service area is in Boone County, it also serves five other mid-Missouri counties: Audrain, Callaway, Howard, Monroe and Randolph. Mr. Culley says Boone Electric has about 30,000 voting members and about 36,000 meters. He says Mother Nature and talent retention are two big challenges Boone Electric and other electric cooperatives are facing. “The things that it takes to actually build and maintain an electrical system. Significantly higher increases than what we would see in a standard inflation number or consumer pricing index number," Mr. Culley tells host Fred Parry. Mr. Culley also discussed their upcoming annual meeting in September:
The Washington Roundtable reflects on the stories they've been following this summer, touching on the “power mourners” at Lindsey Graham's funeral, Anthony Fauci's diaries and Senate hearing, and China's usurping of the U.S. in global power. Plus, the hosts share what books they're reading. This week's reading: “The Outlandish Case Against James Comey,” by Ruth Marcus “Which Way Should the Democratic Party Go Now?,” by Benjamin Wallace-Wells “Will Left-Wing Democrats Reinvent the Party or Hurt Its Chances in November?,” by Isaac Chotiner “How Donald Trump Silenced the Voice of America,” by Marc Fisher Tune in to The Political Scene wherever you get your podcasts. East Cleveland officials are refusing to disclose how many police officers the city employs after denying social media claims that the department has only four active patrol officers and a single detective. Ideastream Public Media reports outside estimates put the department at about six active-duty patrol officers, while the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office is providing supplemental patrols at the mayor's request. The staffing questions come as the city continues to recover from officer indictments and financial turmoil. With Temporary Protected Status for Haitians now expired, thousands of Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio face uncertainty as legal challenges continue over whether they can remain and work in the U.S. Gov. Mike DeWine said Wednesday he has not been informed of any plans for Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids in Ohio. Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton is calling for a conditional moratorium on new data centers unless developers meet requirements including using union labor, meeting environmental standards and covering their own utility costs. Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy supports expanding data centers while emphasizing self-supplied energy. The issue is likely to remain a focus of the governor's race as Ohio weighs the economic benefits of data centers against concerns about energy demand and local impacts. County fairs in Summit and Cuyahoga counties are increasing security this year following the 2025 shooting of a 17-year-old in the Summit County Fair parking lot. Officials say the changes include more law enforcement officers, enhanced screening, visible and plainclothes patrols, and closer coordination among local and state agencies. We will discuss these stories and more news of the week on the “Sound of Ideas Reporters Roundtable.” Guests: - Matthew Richmond, Reporter, Ideastream Public Media - Michelle Jarboe, Reporter, News 5 Cleveland, WEWS - Karen Kasler, Bureau Chief, Ideastream Statehouse News Bureau

Things Discussed: Surprised how fast they're speed-running into a 24-team Playoff. They're on a gold rush now because they discovered they can draw out all the goodwill and passion obtained from 100 years of this being a good deal. Jordan Marshall: Excited to be a captain because it's about bringing people together. Said it's why we beat OSU 13-10, and that OSU had to become more connected to come back and beat them. THAT is what it's about. Seeing nugs of the good college football we're here for all over the place. M's front seven next year? Not natty-level because not enough superstars. LBs are so young—liked NOB and Chase last year more for freshmen. Staehling doesn't do it for me. Think their depth is shaky. Team is a work in progress. Who's the best player on the defense this year? We can't answer it. Reviewing Wink: Was too clever. I have a greater appreciation for the collaborative nature of football. Bring back Doug Mallory as an analyst. He's a nerd, like Kyle Church or Jay Harbaugh, just doesn't put himself forward enough. Nicknaming: Moustapha Thiam is Moose. Hockey guys all get a –y, except Seth who was Fat Fish. Boynton presser: seemed to have a handle on things. Confident, relaxed. VERY happy to have Kyle Church around; Brown was a Dusty guy. About this episode: In this, the 250th year of American independence, we look back over time's shoulder to revisit the nation only eleven years after its great civil war. From Philadelphia, Washington City and the relatively civilized East Coast to the wilds of the territories, Montana, Dakota and New Mexico, we bring to light issues that dominated then and still linger. Our focus: this country as it struggled to come into its own - struggled to establish its identity. For our 100th episode, we tell the story of our nation's Centennial. This is the story of the United States in 1876. ----more---- Some Characters Mentioned In This Episode: Dwight Moody William Jennings Bryan Horatio Alger, Jr. Pedro II Matilda Joslyn Gage George Armstrong Custer For Further Reading The Year of the Century, 1876 by Dee Brown Subscribe to the Threads from the National Tapestry YouTube Channel here Thank you to our sponsor, Celebrity Word Scramble. What do you do with the clothes still hanging in his closet? The shoes that seem to multiply the moment you try to pack them away?! In this raw, unfiltered Widow 180 roundtable, four guests — three widows and a widower — open up about one of the hardest, least-talked-about parts of loss: deciding what to do with a spouse's belongings.Lindsay Lawrence, Sarah Fox, Likisha Lefever, and psychologist Stephen Taylor share their timelines, triggers, and hard-won strategies — from turning t-shirts into memory bears, to donating shoes to strangers in need, to the surprising guilt that can surface over something as small as a comforter or an empty cologne bottle. They talk honestly about outside pressure and unsolicited opinions from family. As Lindsay puts it: "Until you are walking in my shoes, I really don't need to hear your opinion anymore." And Stephen offers a piece of wisdom that reframes the whole conversation: "If you don't do something with your grief, your grief is gonna do something to you."This episode also covers the power of pre-loss conversations, the "widow brain" phenomenon, navigating family traditions around belongings, and two simple questions to help guide any decision: Will I ever actually use this? and Where is the right place for it to go?Whether your loss was sudden or came after years of illness, this conversation offers permission to move at your own pace — because when it comes to grief, there's no right way. There's just your way.For more support and guidance in widowhood, check out the Widow 180 Workbook series at www.widow180.com/workbooksWhat stage of widowhood are you in right now? Not sure? If someone handed your competitor every prompt, workflow and AI system you use today, would you still have an advantage? That is the question that opens this live roundtable, recorded in a sealed room at the first Founder AI Studio Live in Toronto. Ten women who are not just using AI but building with it: intellectual property strategists, AI educators, investors, community builders, and operators who have built and exited companies. No keynote. No panel. Just founders comparing notes from the front line. IP lawyer Andrea Bolden takes on the part most founders get wrong: whether your prompts, workflows and custom GPTs count as intellectual property, why switching off the training toggle is not the protection you think it is, why people trademark a name while giving away the entire body of work underneath it, and which AI tools will actually indemnify you if you get sued. The room also gets into what happens to knowledge businesses when knowledge stops being scarce, why AI-native builds beat AI retrofits, the environmental cost nobody wants to raise, the risk of putting your child's face into these systems, and the six companies capturing most of the value from all of it. It ends with a lightning round on the one tool each founder actually uses. On the second hour of Nuanez Now, Colter Nuanez and Sammy Akem are joined by Montana head coach Bobby Kennedy for this week's ESPN Roundtable. As part of their continued coverage from last weekend's Big Sky Kickoff in Spokane, the three discuss the Grizzlies' outlook for the 2026 season, Kennedy's coaching tree and the mentors who have influenced him, the changes he's implementing to Montana's practice structure, and his vision for the program entering his first season as head coach.Next, Colter compares Montana State quarterback Justin Lamson and Montana quarterback Keali'i Ah Yat, discussing which signal-caller has the edge heading into the 2026 season. He also shares thoughts from several Big Sky coaches, who weigh in on the two quarterbacks and offer their perspectives on one of the conference's most intriguing debates.
It was a blast to have on three great coaches for this month's Zoom roundtable! Rob Brost, John Carrier and Jake Nannen jumped on the pod to discuss how to be a great teacher of the game, what their focus is on for this fall to improve upon, things that they've learned this summer and one favorite drill of each coach! This was a blast to do, and I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed recording it!

Send us Fan MailFriday nights are almost here, and we wanted a real high school football season preview from people who live it. I'm joined by a roundtable of coaches and media to talk through what actually shapes a season in Ohio high school football and neighboring Pennsylvania high school football: building culture, keeping kids bought in, and handling the constant pull of other sports, school, work, and distractions. We dig into the hardest parts of coaching right now, from sports specialization and scheduling chaos to the unglamorous stuff like grades, behavior, and the word that hits hardest: apathy. You'll also hear how coaches think about non-conference scheduling, why relationships between staffs matter, and how big programs prepare each week by delegating responsibilities so the head coach doesn't burn out. On the media side, we highlight teams to watch across Northeast Ohio and what makes certain programs feel dangerous before the standings even start. Then we get into the fun details that make high school football what it is: the best stadiums for atmosphere, why rivalries still matter when everyone knows each other, and whether summer all-star games are worth the time for players and coaches. We close with quick outlooks and keys to success for the season ahead, with a focus on health, development, leadership, and standards.Subscribe to Ride Home Rants, share this with a football friend, and leave a review if you want more roundtables like this. Big Brother Recaps & Live Feed Updates from Rob Has a Podcast
BB28 Roundtable Week 3 Also available on YouTube. Each Monday night, Taran Armstrong (@ArmstrongTaran) and Melissa Deni (@itsmelissaaa) will be joined by a rotating guest to discuss the past week in Big Brother 28. After running down all of the latest advancements, they'll rate and rank the houseguests to update the weekly Stockwatch. Big Brother 28 is all about isolation and power this week as the house pulls away from Jason after a dramatic Tea Party confrontation. Taran Armstrong leads this pivotal Roundtable episode with Melissa Deni and Mary Kwiatkowski, diving into who holds power, who's on the chopping block, and how the house is shifting after a lively veto ceremony and a scandalous callout. This episode unpacks Kamu's Head of Household reign and his attempted backdoor move against Jason. After Kamu nominates Lyric, Mallory, and Lala (LaTrice), and Lyric wins Veto, Jason becomes the primary target. The Tea Party, an actual in-house event, becomes ground zero for a public callout as Kamu tries to justify nominating Jason, leading to tense, mostly silent drama in the house. Social alliances and voting blocks are weighed, with much talk about what happens if Jason wins the Blockbuster or a potential vote flip to keep Mallory. Melissa shares that both Kamu and Jason keep the Tea Party confrontation mostly game-related, but Jason handles himself especially well in defending his position to the house. Taran Armstrong details Devens' strategy, including how Devens has a hidden Diamond Power of Veto and is working to pull allies close while managing suspicions about Drew's loyalties. Mary examines how houseguests hesitate to stand with isolated players, seeing gameplay and house social experiment dynamics at work. The popularity rankings shift as Jason climbs the charts and Kamu sees a drop after the Tea Party fallout. The group debates the wisdom of encouraging showy house meetings, with consensus that chaos usually benefits the underdogs, not those in power. As the dominant alliance aims to solidify their grip, the episode questions whether Kamu's move isolates a real threat or makes him a bigger target himself. Are secret alliances and vote flips brewing enough to turn the power structure on its head? Send us Fan MailAaron, Trent, and Peaches are back in the team room talking defense budgets, military waste, the NDAA, future war with China, Space Force, Flock cameras, and why everyone suddenly has feelings about height-to-waist standards. The team breaks down why the Department of War is asking for more money, what the military says it needs to fund, and why that answer still does not solve the bigger problem: nobody can explain where all the money is already going. They talk munitions, drones, shipbuilding, Golden Dome, personnel, aging infrastructure, bloated conferences, pet projects, federal billets, and the fact that the military still cannot pass a clean audit. Then the episode shifts into surveillance and civil liberties with Flock cameras, license plate readers, the Patriot Act, and why “if you did nothing wrong, you have nothing to worry about” is a terrible argument. Finally, the guys get into Air Force height-to-waist standards, body composition, fat bodies in uniform, false positives for built-like-a-fridge humans, and why most people complaining about the standard probably just need to work out and eat less.Check out Tasty Gains: TastyGains.comGet AFSPECWAR prep gear through ATACLETE: OnesReady.comRegister for Operator Training Summit: OperatorTrainingSummit.comChapters:00:00 - Intro, Tasty Gains, ATACLETE, and OTS02:34 - San Diego and Pennsylvania OTS Updates04:20 - Why Does the Military Want More Money?04:58 - What the Defense Budget Is Paying For06:00 - Warfighter Performance, Drones, and China07:13 - Navy Upgrades and Global Shipping07:45 - Where Has the Money Been Going?08:14 - DOGE Cuts, Federal Workers, and Billets11:22 - Why Cutting Billets Does Not Always Cut Costs12:28 - A-10, B-21, F-47, and Military Construction14:04 - The $1.5 Trillion Defense Budget Request15:20 - China, Taiwan, and Future War Prep16:17 - Trent's Problem With the Budget Argument17:56 - The Department of War Has Never Passed a Clean Audit18:38 - Space Force Funding and Real Missions20:24 - NDAA, SAVE Act, and Israel Integration22:46 - Voter ID, Senate Drama, and Political Games24:10 - Why the NDAA May Get Stripped Down25:33 - Midterms, Messaging, and DC Theater26:49 - Talking Politics With Kids27:14 - Aliens, Spielberg, and Disclosure28:38 - Why Military Leaders Do Not Cut Waste29:02 - Civilian Leadership and Budget Authority29:55 - How End-of-Year Spending Works31:55 - The GARV Vehicle and Sunk Cost Fallacy34:37 - Unused Float Tanks and Base-Level Waste36:08 - VR Headsets and Gear With No Sustainment Plan37:10 - When Waste Becomes Gear Money38:25 - Donated Mattresses and Internet Outrage39:30 - Cutting Generals, E-9s, and Conferences40:27 - Senior Leader Conferences and Yucking It Up41:50 - Commanders' Roundtables and No Decisions43:34 - Senior Leaders Need to Take More Risk45:05 - Aaron's Defense Budget Take46:13 - A Possible New Ones Ready Series47:57 - Naming the New Series50:34 - What the New Series Could Cover53:09 - Flock Cameras and AI Surveillance54:31 - License Plate Readers and False Tickets56:50 - Aaron's Las Vegas Parking Ticket Story01:00:24 - The Process Is the Punishment01:01:42 - UK CCTV and 198401:03:15 - The Patriot Act and Giving Up Freedom01:04:46 - Height-to-Waist Standard Chaos01:05:59 - Fat People Resist Accountability01:06:26 - Show the Scores01:07:07 - The One Built-Like-a-Viking Exception01:08:13 - Almost Crashing a Helicopter With Big Humans01:09:56 - When Pencil Whipping Makes Sense01:11:01 - Trent's Fatty Rant01:11:40 - MTIs, Maintainers, and No Excuses01:12:31 - Final Thoughts and MembershipSupport the showJoin this channel to get access to perks: HEREBuzzsprout Subscription page: HERERegister for our Operator Training Summit: OperatorTrainingSummit.comFind an Air Force Recruiter: AirForce.comCollabs:Ones Ready - OnesReady.com 18A Fitness - Promo Code: ONESREADY ATACLete - Follow the URL (no promo code): ATACLeteDanger Close Apparel - Promo Code: ONESREADYDFND Apparel...
