Autumn has 81 acting credits and this is the first time we've seen her on Hallmark since the final installment of "The Wedding Veil" in early 2023! She will be making an appearance at the Hallmark Christmas Experience this holiday season. Aaron O'Connell plays Alex. Since then she has appeared in 4 additional Hallmark movies to round out her 41 acting credits. Related: Autumn Reeser's 20th Movie for Hallmark Here's What We Thought We loved Autumn Reeser as Juniper, a woman in the throes of middle age who must reconnect with her youthful dreams. We see Juniper navigate her life with both humor and emotional depth. She experiences a revelation that it's never too late to follow one's dreams—an inspiring message for viewers of all ages. New Wowie Zowie Alert! Aaron O'Connell, playing Alex, delivers a standout performance. Alex, who becomes a significant part of Juniper's journey, perfectly captures the essence of a supportive and understanding partner. Alex recognizes Juniper's true self and supports her in embracing her inner child. Little Junebug (Mila Jones) We were split on our opinion of Mila Jones, portraying the young Juniper, adds a layer of innocence and charm to the film. While her character can be seen as precocious at times, she does a commendable job of embodying the spirit and curiosity of a young child. A Message We Can Relate To! One of the most beautiful messages of "Junebug" is that it's never too late to pursue your dreams. The movie emphasizes that every moment is the right moment and encourages viewers to stand up for ...

----------------------------------- SEGUICI SU: - Web Page: https://www.nippop.it - Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/nippopbologna - Twitter: https://twitter.com/NipPopOfficial - Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/nippopofficial - YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/nippopbologna
At long last, the launch of the next big NASA flagship telescopes: JWST is ready for launch, sitting atop its rocket and awaiting good weather. This telescope marks the pinnacle of ambition for NASA as it is doing something that has never been done before. Launching a telescope of this size is a first for the human race and promises to bring us insights about our place in the universe like nothing that has come before. Humanity will look farther into the universe than ever and JWST, the most technically advanced and capable telescope ever built, will collect light from a time when the very first stars and galaxies were born. In this episode, Dustin and Tony talk about this amazing telescope, and we answer a listener question about getting Stellina or eVscope for an astronomy club. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/spacejunk/support

Cyril Dupuy is the founder and CEO of Vaonis, the French startup company which makes the smart telescope Stellina. What is a Smart Telescope? We'll get into that a bit later. Cyril grew up in southern France and has been a stargazer since while still a boy he first visited the observatory in the city of Nice. He joined his local astronomy club in Montpellier, of which he eventually became president, and became increasingly interested in how different kinds of telescopes work. He studied optics and aerospace engineering at the university, and while there began to imagine a telescope that would be as easy to use as a point-and-shoot camera. He founded Vaonis in 2014 to make such a telescope, and in doing so, inaugurated a new class of smart telescopes. He was featured as an entrepreneur in Forbes 30 under 30 in 2019. We spoke to Cyril at his office in Montpellier, via Zoom. This week we had the pleasure of having Cyril Dupuy on the podcast! He’s the CEO of Vaonis, an ex-Aerospace engineer, and extremely passionate about astronomy. We discuss Vaonis’ telescope Stellina and all the ways they are making it easy for ANYONE to view the night sky and guided by their platform’s application. A really great talk with a science based thinker who’s on a mission to innovate astronomy for beginners, children, and anyone who’s not doing it because it’s too complicated to get started. We discuss where Cyril’s passion for science started and how he’s finding a balance between being an engineer and the best CEO he can be for his team at Vaonis. Business and science combine! We also discuss the next product that just finished up its Kickstarter - Vespera! The slim-downed version of Stellina with all the great features - in a smaller package for anyone’s budget (available at the start of 2022) Check out what Vaonis offers at their website Vaonis.com On our segment, ‘People of Science’ we talk with those passionate about the scientific mindset and what got them into their field. The challenges or stories of how they got to where they are today, how they think, and the science they love.
Thanks to advances in sensors, software and the implementation of the smartphone, amateur astronomy as a hobby is under going a renaissance. Complete beginners can now enter the hobby and capture amazing views of the night sky faster and share them with the world easier. This new class of telescopes also helps the visual observer overcome the inexorable loss of our dark skies due to light pollution. In this episode, Dustin and Tony discuss their experiences using both telescopes and Dustin also provides some background on the Celestron Starsense accessory for the NexStar line of telescopes.

For photos and links, please see the blog. Finished objects: Michelle finished skirting this brown and white Icelandic fleece. She cleaned and put away the drum carder. Michelle finished her online master rain gardener class. She just needs to build her rain garden. The digging has begun to get rid of the lake at the end of her driveway. The rain garden will extend along the driveway. We started the digging in the clay at the end of the driveway to drain the lake before continuing to dig. The next day most of this puddle was gone. Although Michelle dislikes sewing, she decided to make covers for her patio chair cushions after the old ones disintegrated at the seams in the wash. It would probably look better if they were fitted, but that may be beyond Michelle's abilities...or willingness to sit at the sewing machine. Michelle also made a travel case for her felting needles. She's not traveling these days, but has been wanting to make this case for a while. Now it's ready. The needle pad is glued to the lid on the bottom, so it can be easily used when open. Erica finished her first sock for herself! She is quite proud and as she is not really a matching sock type of person, she has been wearing it already. :) Spun Yarn These yarns have not yet been wet finished, in fact Erica's wet finishing bin is starting to spill over! Grafitti Interrupted Organic Polwarth split in half and spun to bobbins and plied. First Impressions this is a spin that Erica has been wanting to do for some time. The colourway is beautiful, as is the resulting yarn. It was a colorway from Bee Mice Elf, who as regular listeners will no doubt remember is no longer dyeing. Advent Calendar one more plied yarn. This was a great colourway, again no information on the fiber content, but a lovely colourway. Works in progress: Michelle has been working on some kumihimo for mask straps. Here's a sample of what she made resting across the face of the kumihimo disk. Michelle's husband modeling her mask with the kumihimo straps. Once the electronics come in, it will light up. Here's a link to the video the idea was taken from. https://youtu.be/aYAwOimNzb0 The other project that Michelle has been working on is some cross stitch. The pattern was designed by April of Crown Street Cottage. https://www.etsy.com/shop/CrownStreetCottage?ref=ss_profile She has lots of geeky patterns in her shop. This one really spoke to me. It will read "Welcome to my home. Roll initiative" Michelle dyed the fabric with RIT dye and knows exactly where it will hang in her house when finished. TJ and Erica carded some of the Icelandic fleece that Michelle so kindly sent us! This has been a really fun project for TJ and Erica to do together. TJ is honing his studio assistant skills! :) Erica is very close to having completely spun her Advent Calendar fiber. She spun up the last singles and hopes to decide what to ply them with by Episode 16. :) She talked about her process for always rewinding her singles onto storage bobbins after doing the Be Kind Rewind yarn from 51 Yarns. Erica has just recently passed the halfway mark in her 51 Yarns journey. If you are a spinner and have not yet gotten 51 Yarns, it is a great book and a fun path to travel. More about the rewinding of one of these yarns in Episode 16. As you can see her storage bobbins sometimes live on a shelf with fandom/geekdom memorabelia. :) This lovely spin has been languishing. This fiber is in the Deep Cove colourway from Sweet Georgia Yarns on the Polwarth Silk Fiber. It is 85% Polwarth and 15% Tussah Silk. The resulting singles are gorgeous!!! Erica started this spin in August 2019 and is excited to be finishing it up! Erica surprising chose to spin up some of the little remaining SW Targhee she has in her stash. This one was in the colorway Petal, it was such a gorgeous colorway she kept it even though SW Targhee is not a fiber she adores. On the bobbin you can only see the last two colors. The colorways starts with a beautiful yellow and grades into orange, then a deep red, the into these lovely purples. :) You can also see Erica's Fiber Stash page for this fiber on Weavolution. Erica finished relseying the damask cloth. She switched to the 20 epi reed that her husband got her for Christmas (thank you Halcyon Yarn for having them in stock!). She has relseyed at about 46 epi by sleying the reed 2-2-3. Erica is making good progress on TJ's sock #1. She will still have the second sock for both TJ and herself to knit once his first sock is done. This sock is knit on 2.5mm Signature Needle Arts DPNs. They will also be knit in a SW Merino, Nylon, Stellina yarn from Gynx Yarns, who alas is also no longer dying. I hope the listeners were excited to hear that Erica has restocked some stash from dyers who actually are still dyeing! :)

I met Emily Kuvin at the Jewelers of America Jewelry show in New York this past summer. She was featured as one of a select few designers in the New Designer Gallery, curated and selected by Liz Kantner. She’s been featured on Gem Gossip’s site with her Stella jewelry, and now I’m so excited to have her as today’s guest on the podcast. What I find so interesting about Emily is how she balances the business and design side of her jewelry with the skills and background from her education and prior careers. With a degree in history and English, she continued into the field of journalism, and was a news broadcast journalist. She returned to school for a law degree, and practiced law before deciding to pursue a long lasting interest of jewelry design. Her career experience and research skills as a journalist and in her law profession serve her well in her jewelry business. She seamlessly balances a mix of aesthetic understanding with business practicality. Currently, her two collections grow from classical influence, yet offer an elegant and whimsical style. The Stella (the latin root of the word, star) collection consists of various sizes of organically formed stars with nine arms. Using an organic star motif, one can interpret her Stella collection to express an appreciation for stars and a respect for the vast universe, or as a resemblance to the “kapow” super hero comic strip graphic as a way to recognize internal strength in a fun and whimsical way. The largest design, Stella and a medium size, Stellina are featured as necklaces and earrings. In the center of each Stella and Stellina piece is an oval gemstone surrounded by six small diamonds sprinkled around the center stone and in the middle of the stars’ arms. Gems like morganite, tourmaline, amethyst, and turquoise are just a few of the gems she uses in all her designs. The Classical Collection is the second line of jewelry featured in Emily Kuvin Jewelry Design. Inspired by the iconic pyriamids of ancient Egypt, for which she had an affinity for studying as a young girl, Emily grew her Classical collection based on triangular forms and gems. Emily combines the triangualr form that three small, bezel set gems with trillion shaped gems as the basis for her Classic Collection. Both her collections are unique and offer a distinguished celebration to stand out with elegance that transitions between casual to formal wear. I love how Emily Kuvin’s designs pack a sparkling punch to remind us who we are and to stand up for the super stars we are!
