"In The Ghetto" Der sozialkritische Titel "In The Ghetto" geht unter die Haut. __________ Shownotes Offizieller Youtube-Kanal von Elvis Presley: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW6G95TBLCh5SdC-DHDSf5w __________ Über diese Songs vom Album "From Elvis In Memphis" wird im Podcast gesprochen (06:31) – "Wearin' That Loved On Look"(09:23) – "Only The Strong Survive"(13:30) – "I'm Movin' On"(16:13) – "Gentle On My Mind"(20:21) – "After Loving You"(21:32) – "In The Ghetto"__________ Über diese Songs wird außerdem im Podcast gesprochen (10:34) – "Only The Strong Survive" von Jerry Butler(24:24) – "Suspicious Minds" von Elvis Presley__________ Ihr wollt mehr Podcasts wie diesen? In this episode of Friends in the Word, Jen Pam and Cyndi Weeks discuss what it means to dress like a woman who professes godliness... (please forgive Cyndi's sound issues as she's recording in the remote hills of Tennessee in a 5th wheel trailer like a hillbilly)We also explain where we've been for the last 9 months as well as the Big Fat Word of the Week, vainglory... it packs a big punch! We also spend some time in 1st Tim. 2 addressing the passage on women's dress and how we are to present ourselves. If you're anything like Cyndi, you need this episode, there are lots of wows and woahs... as we get into a clearly needed topic that so many women in the church struggle with. We hope this episode will be a starting point for looking into the ways we express our attitudes through our dress and pray for all of us that we would bring glory to God in even this area of our lives! Thanks for joining us... Read Yo Bible!

Ep 212 - Staying independent but dominating the new beverage market with the CEO of NORT Beer Jaz Wearin NORT non-alcoholic beer continues to quench Aussie beer lovers' thirst as industry-wide sales of non-alcoholic beer grow exponentially. Locally brewed, female-founded, Proudly Australian-owned and brewed, NORT is the only female-founded non-alcoholic beer in Australia. It is 100% plant-based, and the lowest calorie Australian-made non-alcoholic beer in the country. NORT leads the non-alcoholic beer category, and the growth continues to be driven by a renewed preference for the sober curious lifestyle, So I feel very fortunate to chat to the CEO of NORT Jaz Wearin on the podcast today, hi Jaz how are you? In this podcast we discuss: -Where did the idea for NORT come from and the evolution of the sober curious movement. -If it was hard to trust that a non-alcoholic beer would push through. -With the product and it is the range in Woolworths, Dan Murphys and many other locations, what steps they took to get NORT on their shelves. -How was it a different process than producing their alcohol beer range. -With MO Brewing being a fiercely independent beer brand, Jaz's feelings about the number of large-scale buyouts that are happening in the beverage industry. -With Low-alc or no-alc drinks now very much a normal part of the market rather than just a trend, how big does Jaz believe the industry will get. -What NORT are looking forward to for the future and sharing any new developments. This week we catch up with Jaz and Grant Wearin from Modus Operandi. We caught up with Grant around 12 months ago after Modus was named Champion Large Brewery at the Indies and we had a wide ranging chat about that award, beer quality and date coding. This conversation was recorded last week as the pair were gearing up for their fifth birthday celebrations and I was interested in hearing from the couple about the realities of running a family brewery. When I last spoke with Grant, the pair were expecting their first child and I was interested to hear how, with baby Arch about to celebrate his first birthday, they are managing the demands of an expanding brewery and finding balance in an industry - often with unsocial hours - with their expanding family. As happens in a dynamic business, the interview was cut short and when we reconvened a few days later Jaz had been struck down with the flu, but the second half of the conversation features Grant discussing the special celebration beers the brewery is releasing to mark its fifth anniversary, as well as a beer launched for IPA Day next week. We discuss the challenges the breweries face is building a core range while acknowledging the importance of regular releases and seasonals and how they manage these one-offs while maintaining quality.
