However, it is equally damaging and causes serious trauma and lasting negative effects to many athletes, which is why it needs to be talked about, banned from sports and the abusers need to be held accountable and face harsher consequences. Stephanie has been labeled an "anti-masker" and "anti-vaxxer" due to her opinions and choices to not wear a mask or get the Covid vaccine and she shares her experiences due to these choices. We wanted to chat with Stephanie for this reason, but also because she is a health professional and has done a TON of research about this pandemic and has a lot of information as well as a different perspective that goes against the common narrative we are constantly hearing on every news channel. Stephanie reminds us of the importance to always ask questions, do your research and to be a critical thinker. Probably not, and neither had we until we discovered the incredibly engaging and fascinating Dr. Natalia Petrzela, a NYC based Historian, Author, Teacher, Activist and podcast host.  Natalia co-produced and hosted the podcast "Welcome to Your Fantasy," which chronicles the history of the "Chippendales." *Trigger Warning* This episode may contain triggering subject matter - We are talking about a very frightening and upsetting, yet unfortunately a very real global issue, Human Trafficking. We are joined by Shae Invidiata the Founder of the not-for-profit organization Free-Them. Since 2010 Shae and her team of dedicated volunteers have been working towards awakening the world to the dark secrets of human trafficking by focusing on generating awareness, advocacy, education and strengthening government policies on human trafficking and the exploitation of persons. Shae talks about the importance of reframing perspectives and language around the victims of human trafficking which are primarily women and children, the most vulnerable. She also shares the staggering monetary statistics that are generated by the business/trade of humans and why that is the biggest reason it exists and continues to grow at a rapid pace as well as many other FACTS. Some of the biggest questions we had is, if "everyone" is so against the sale of children for sex and slavery, why is it still happening? Why do we not hear about it in the media? Why would governments and societies not be taking a much bigger and louder stance against it? We put these questions to you, our listeners, ask yourselves these questions. Sadly, many of the answers point in a direction we don't want to believe (think the elite). We can no longer operate under the "ignorance is bliss" mentality, it is time our societies come together and use all voices to demand the end of this abhorrent business. We need to protect our children and the exploited. Those participating and profiting off human trafficking must be exposed and brought to justice!
