En entrevista para MVS Noticias con Manuel López San Martín, Memo Schutz, colaborador de MVS Noticias, habló sobre lo más relevante en los deportes.   “México enfrenta al Valencia, que es el antepenúltimo lugar de la tabla en la Liga de las Estrellas. Estás hablando de un equipo que viene con suplentes”, afirmó Schutz, quien destacó la situación crítica del club español: “Los tres porteros que tienen, ninguno viene. El titular está lastimado y los otros dos han sido convocados”. ¿Al Valencia realmente le importa el partido contra la Selección Mexicana? Schutz explicó que el Valencia está más enfocado en su lucha por evitar el descenso en la liga española que en el partido contra México: “Vienen con prácticamente una sub-23 y el partido ante México les importa un comino. ¿Por qué? Porque dentro de diez días enfrentan a Las Palmas, y con Las Palmas están jugando el descenso”. El comentarista se mostró escéptico sobre la decisión de enfrentar a un equipo en esta situación. “Le voy a dar beneficio a la duda porque están tratando de hacer cosas diferentes para no enfrentar a los mismos rivales. Pero no sé en qué momento decidieron que el Valencia era un rival adecuado”, cuestionó. ¿Qué pasa si Valencia le gana a la Selección Mexicana? Además, comparó el Valencia con otros equipos y lamentó que la selección mexicana no se enfrente a rivales más competitivos: “No, bueno, si le gana a la selección mexicana de fútbol sería un escándalo. Si pierdes ante el Valencia como viene, terminas empatando o cayendo en el Cuauhtémoc sin gente, porque no va a haber público, imagínate lo que se va a decir”. Schutz hizo énfasis en la importancia de elegir rivales significativos, especialmente en un contexto donde otros equipos tienen compromisos relevantes: “Como te explico que el de Valencia no cuenta, el de Estados Unidos sí. Es en Guadalajara y lo que significa enfrentar a Estados Unidos, que además tiene una paternidad contra ti”. Concluyó su análisis afirmando que el esfuerzo realizado por la Federación Mexicana de Fútbol fue deficiente: “Se hizo el esfuerzo, pero por todos lados lo hicieron muy mal. No enfrentes al Valencia; si me dijeras el Sevilla o alguien más… estamos hablando de que no es fecha FIFA, hay eliminatorias y la Nations League. ¿En qué momento se sentaron y decidieron que el mejor rival que podían enfrentar en esta ventana FIFA era el Valencia?”, sentenció Schutz.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Hear about sightseeing in the island nation of Malta as the Amateur Traveler talks to Michelle and Nikki from cheekypassports.com about their native country. https://amateurtraveler.com/sightseeing-in-malta/ They say, “The island is small and that has its restrictions but it's also a nice thing to have because you can visit and do a lot of activities in a short span. Nowhere is more than 15 minutes by car. The island is maybe 27 kilometers about 17 miles long and barely 14 kilometers wide. There is a lot of history and culture in Malta. There are small villages you can visit. There are large fortified towns. Visitors usually like the historic aspect of Malta. There are some of the oldest free-standing temples in the world. It is a pleasant island. There are the beaches. There's a lot to do in Malta despite its size.” Michelle and Nikki lay out a one-week itinerary for us. They start us in the small capital city of Valletta (only 5,000 people). Many of the buildings in Valletta were built by the Knights of the Order of St John (Knights Hospitaller).  Not surprisingly, therefore, the largest church in Valletta is Saint John's Cathedral. St John's has a rather plain exterior which hides an ornate interior.  Valletta shares the Great Harbor with the Three Cities of Birgu (Vittoriosa), Senglea (Isla), and Bormla (Cospicua) which are also fortified cities. The harbor itself dates back to the Phoenicians. Get a great view of the harbor from the Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta. They recommend a visit to the “quiet city” of Mdina and its sister city of Rabat which is riddled with the underground catacombs of St Paul. St Paul spent some time on the island and brought Christianity to Malta which almost has a church for every day of the year. They recommend checking the local tourism board calendar for when the various churches are having festivals and planning your trip to attend some, if only to see the pageantry and sometimes the fireworks. Stop by one of the small fishing villages like Marsaxlokk for fresh seafood right off the boat. In the cooler winter months, visit the western shore of the island and the Dingli Cliffs. The western shore of the island is less built-up and better for hiking. Make a side trip to the island of Gozo which is “more quaint” than the main island. While you are there you should make a visit to the Ġgantija megalithic temple. In the center of Gozo you will find the Cittadella which is a small fortified “city”. Some of the best diving spots are on Gozo such as the Azure Window. For a relaxing day, off-season, charter a boat or take a ferry to the Blue Lagoon on the mostly uninhabited island of Comino. There is much to do, see, and eat in Malta. Come see why so many nations have wanted to pocess Malta over so many years.

This week, Jim's talking to writer Mary Charlebois about her experience living in the tiny southern European nation of Malta. Malta may be small, but it's worthy of your attention. This sun-soaked country, just to the south of Sicily, sits in the deep blue waters of the Mediterranean and enjoys warm, dry summers and mild winters. The country is officially bilingual, with English as an official language, so there's no need to pore over textbooks or depend on Google Translate. The Maltese golden visa is considered one of the world's best offerings of its kind, and the country itself has a long history of settlement, with some of the world's finest neoclassical, baroque, and medieval architecture in daily use.What many people don't realize about Malta, is that it's not just one island. In fact, it's an archipelago of around 20 islands, of which three are inhabited—Malta, Gozo, and Comino. Regular ferries connect the islands with each other, and with Sicily and the Italian mainland. La ‘caza’ de brujas en Cataluña dejó centenares de feminicidios entre los siglos XVI y XVIII documentados tras investigaciones historiográficas que muestran una sociedad feudal y descentralizada donde las mujeres con conocimientos médicos, viudas o no normativas eran acusadas de brujería y asesinadas con la connivencia social. Malta jest członkiem Unii Europejskiej, tak że wiele restrykcji czy ograniczeń dla krajów trzecich w ogóle nas nie dotyczy. Ale Malta zaczęła właśnie zachęcać ludzi do tego, żeby przeprowadzili się tam. Żeby pracowali jako cyfrowi nomadzi, właśnie w modelu pracy zdalnej. Nie płacą,co prawda, już za pobyt - jak do niedawna zachęcano finansowo turystów do przyjeżdżania na Maltę. Ale ten program się rozpoczął i teraz przeczytałam wam kilka wymagań, które muszą być spełnione przez mieszkańców krajów trzecich, żeby mieszkać na Malcie, jako właśnie taki cyfrowy nomada: trzeba mieć przychód brutto 2700 € oczywiście dokumenty podróżne powinny być prawidłowe, czyli paszport trzeba mieć ubezpieczenie zdrowotne, które obowiązuje na Malcie trzeba mieć klienta lub mieć pracę taką, żeby to była firma spoza Malty należy mieć umowę najmu bądź umowę zakupu nieruchomości w tym kraju. być w pełni zaszczepionym (to jest dosyć istotne, ten punkt również poruszam później) koszt zaaplikowania to jest 300 € Ale powiedziałem o tym, że podam siedem powodów, dla których warto rozważyć Maltę: Przede wszystkim to dostajemy w jednym kraju trzy wyspy. Bo mamy oczywiście główną wyspę, na której się żyje. To również też wyspy takie jak Gozo i drugą wyspą jest wyspa Comino. Na jednej i na drugiej oczywiście można znaleźć przepiękne plaże, można znaleźć dużo zabytków. Tak, że mówimy tu o stronie tej takiej wizualnej Drugim powodem, dla którego warto tam przebywać, to jest to, że Malta posiada jeden z najwyższych - właściwie najwyższy w Europie wskaźnik zaszczepienia. Bo 90% populacji w wieku od 18 roku życia w górę jest zaszczepionych. W 90%! A w całym społeczeństwie to mamy 80% zaszczepienia. Także to jest dosyć istotne jeszcze w tych czasach związanych z pandemią. Trzeci powód to jest po prostu pogoda. Bo oczywiście zima nie będzie upalna, ale wiosna-jesień no i oczywiście ta zima będzie też ciepła. Trzeba pamiętać, że średnie temperatury w listopadzie są na poziomie 21 stopni Czwartym powodem jest to, że tam porozumieć. Bo Malta posiada dwa języki oficjalne - jest to język maltański oraz angielski. Tak, że po angielsku łatwo będzie można się porozumieć Piątym powodem to jest historia i kultura. Bo pierwsi osadnicy pojawili się na Malcie prawie 6000 lat przed Chrystusem. Tak, że jest bardzo dużo zabytków, bardzo dużo miejsc, które można odwiedzić.
