In a world seeming fractured by fear, division, and despair, Rev. Dr. Andriette Earl returns to the pulpit with a soul-stirring continuation of her series on hope. This Sunday's message, “Hope: A Sacred Call to Rise,” invites us to step into the divine assignment of being hope-bearers—those who dare to believe, speak, and live from a consciousness of infinite possibility.Woven into this metaphysical exploration is a powerful moment of cultural resonance—a musical artist who was once named a “Hope Dealer” by none other than Chadwick Boseman. Through this lens, Rev. Dr. Andriette reminds us: hope is not naïve—it is a bold spiritual practice.✨ Join the Heart & Soul community for this radiant broadcast of uplift, insight, and spiritual recalibration. Philippians 4:6 reminds us to, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” Now, this verse is not saying that you won’t worry, or even that worry is a sin. However, it’s a reminder to us that in our moments of worry, fear, and anxiety, we have the opportunity to substitute those things when we humbly and quickly present those very things before the Lord instead of dwelling on them. Because, when you turn your worry into worship, God will turn your battles into blessings. Joining us today to dive deeper into his own personal testimony and ways in which he has managed and overcome anxiety of his own is a dear friend and familiar face and voice on the podcast, Grant Troutt. Grant is a well known speaker, young adult pastor, and truly a dispensor of hope! And today he wants to remind you that in the midst of the challenge you may find yourself in today to continually pray for God to not deliver you until He has fully developed you! This week's parasha, Beshalach, is one of the most dramatic and inspiring portions in the Torah. It tells of Israel's miraculous deliverance at the Red Sea — a moment when all seemed lost, and yet, through divine intervention, salvation came.

Embracing Your Season: Raising Littles and Understanding Teens with Paige Clingenpeel
On today's episode of Embracing Your Season, Paige welcomes friend, motivational speaker, and author of Worth Seeing, Amy Williams. Amy is a certified Gang Intervention Specialist, a youth ministry veteran of over 29 years, and currently the Project Coordinator for the Ilinois Youth Center for New Life Centers Chicagoland. Paige and Amy discuss God's heart for the marginalized and why the church has a responsibility for serving these groups. Amy shares that a growing number of young people are experiencing hopelessness which means they have no plans or dreams for their futures - but that we as followers of Christ carry hope wherever we go! It should be our joy and great privilege to share the light, peace, worth, and belonging we have in Him. Paige's Takeaways:People are NOT ProjectsIf we see people as problems to fix, the relationship dynamic shifts. Most of the time, people just need us to sit with them and show empathy. We can't and shouldn't try to change people - only God can do that!We Never Know Their StoryOftentimes we allow our ignorance to place a judgment over their present circumstance - when in reality, we have no idea what led them to this place. Lean in with compassion and ask questions. Be willing to learn - and be wrong. We Already BelongEven if we don't know the full story, there's usually a catalyst that has led people to their current situation - and most of the time, it stems from a desire to belong. As followers of Jesus - we already belong! We are chosen, we are beloved, we have worth and value simply because Jesus loves us. We don't have to strive or perform our way into belonging! This point is particularly important while raising your kids. When they know to whom they belong, it's not as easy to be swayed or tempted by different crowds with the lure of “belonging”. Teach them whose they are and instill the worth and value that Jesus has placed on them - on each of us.Resources:Paige ClingenpeelQuestions About the Podcast? In a world filled with hopelessness, rage, and despair, how do we, as Christians, respond with compassion and love, without eventually experiencing burnout and compassion fatigue? Stephanie is offering you today an enlightening conversation with Hal Donaldson, the founder and president of Convoy of Hope, where he shared valuable insights about the Christian responsibility to acknowledge truth while approaching it with compassion and care. In a fast-paced world that celebrates achievements over rest, author and founder of Convoy of Hope, Hal Donaldson, emphasizes that taking care of yourself isn't optional if you want to live selflessly and fulfill God's calling on your life. When it comes to our personal well-being, success is often more dangerous than failure. Hal Donaldson discusses the profound impact of witnessing hopelessness on a global scale. From his experiences traveling globally with Convoy of Hope, he has seen both the deep needs and opportunities for people to find hope and faith. In a world where despair can be overwhelming, Donaldson emphasizes the importance of responding to rage and disapproval with acts of compassion, mirroring the example set by Jesus Christ. Reflecting on Mother Teresa's advice to "do the next kind thing that God puts in front of you," he inspires us to embody compassion in our actions, particularly in response to hopelessness. But we must be careful: When it comes to our personal well-being, success is often more dangerous than failure. As we try to fulfill others' expectations, we deplete our time, energy, and enthusiasm and end up feeling wrung out or burned out, sometimes even flaming out in spectacular ways. It may feel like the solution is just to quit--our jobs, our passions, our ministries--but there is a way to pour into others and take care of ourselves. The conversation focuses on the pivotal role of the church in demonstrating love and compassion to all people, irrespective of their beliefs. Hal and Stephanie exchange thoughts on the Christian responsibility to acknowledge the truth while approaching it with compassion and care. This brings to light the significance of the church's role in responding to the needs of the world with a God-centered perspective. By shining a light of hope and love into the darkness of despair, the church can serve as a beacon of God's mercy and grace to those who are hurting. Hal sheds light on embracing opportunities to address the needs of the world with a God-centered perspective. Hal Donaldson shares personal experiences and encourages listeners to see the potential for the church to make a positive impact. In a world where hopelessness seems ever-present, he emphasizes the importance of not just acknowledging the needs, but actively seeking opportunities to serve and bring hope. Through stories of his work with Convoy of Hope, Donaldson inspires a call to action for individuals and congregations to seek ways to serve in their own communities, demonstrating compassion and love to those in need. In a world where hopelessness and despair can be pervasive, Hal Donaldson provides a powerful reminder of the importance of responding with compassion and love. By acknowledging the truth with grace and demonstrating God-centered compassion, we can offer hope to those who are hurting. Through his work with Convoy of Hope, Hal Donaldson exemplifies the transformative impact of embracing opportunities to address the world's needs with a mindset centered on God's love and mercy. As we reflect on his wisdom and experiences, let us be inspired to live out our faith by bringing God-centered compassion to a world in need of hope and healing. MEET HAL DONALDSON Hal Donaldson is the president and CEO of Convoy of Hope, a global, faith-based, nonprofit organization that works with communities to address root causes of poverty and hunger. According to Forbes, Convoy of Hope is among the 50 largest charities in the United States. Through its disaster responses and community development programs, Convoy: Has distributed more than $2.5 billion worth of food and supplies. Helped more than 250 million people. Currently feeds more than 570,000 children every school day. Hal has received numerous public service awards. He has a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in biblical studies from Bethany University. He and his wife, Doree, have four daughters. https://haldonaldson.org/ ABOUT “WHAT REALLY MATTERS” When it comes to our personal well-being, success is often more dangerous than failure. Sharing the dramatic, true, and untold story behind the creation of Convoy of Hope, Hal Donaldson and his daughter Lindsay Donaldson-Kring pull back the curtain on Hal's journey to greater mental, physical, and spiritual health amid the all-engrossing task of starting and sustaining a ministry. They reveal the toll ministry and compassion work can take on both individuals and families, then point toward healing and wholeness. Addiction and heroin abuse didn't make Tim Ryan a better person, but recovery has redeemed his years. Substance abuse of heroin and alcohol stole more than half his life. But he has dedicated every waking minute since walking out of prison to dealing hope to addicts and their families. As a recovering addict, Tim is now known as The Hope Dealer. He's also a successful entrepreneur, a nationally ranked barefoot water skier-and a truth-talking, convicted felon. Tim has been a featured thought-leader in numerous national media, including USA Today, Newsweek, and on "The Steve Harvey Show." He was an invited guest to the 2016 State of the Union Address. • As a business leader in a high-tech industry, Tim made and lost millions. • As a father and husband, Tim paved the way for his own son to use deadly drugs. • As a heroin addict, Tim is a walking miracle. He has overdosed eight times, was pronounced clinically dead three times, and suffered two minor heart attacks. He has been arrested more than ten times and served prison time alongside known gang leaders-many of whom became his closest confidants in recovery. For over 20 years, Michael Molthan was The Luxury Homebuilder in Dallas, Texas - The Park Cities and beyond. He was the envy of all, with a thriving business and a reputation that seemed untouchable. But then it all came crashing down. The once mighty Michael Molthan found himself at rock bottom. He had succumbed to the allure of drugs and alcohol, and his life spiraled into a world of crime and chaos. In just four years, he had racked up an astonishing 27 mugshots, a shocking downfall for someone who seemed to have it all. As he faced the consequences of his actions, Michael's world crumbled around him. He was about to enter a place he swore he would never go: prison. And with each passing day, his once unbreakable spirit was shattered into a million pieces. But this is not just a story of downfall and defeat. This is a story of redemption and resilience. Michael Molthan's journey through darkness and back is a testament to the human spirit and the power of second chances. It's a story that will evoke strong emotions and leave you breathless. Addiction consumed Michael's every waking moment, numbing the pain of a dark childhood trauma that he kept hidden deep within. It was his temporary escape, his coping mechanism, his only solace. But little did he know that his addiction would lead him to a place he never imagined - a prison cell. Locked away, with nothing but time on his hands, Michael turned to reading and writing for solace and found himself connecting with fellow inmates who couldn't read or write. He poured his heart and soul into helping them, giving them a voice, and finding purpose in his own life. Then, on that fateful day - October 13, 2017 - a miracle happened. Michael was released from prison two years early, before completing his sentence. As he traveled the long 300-mile journey back to Dallas, Texas, he knew he had to face Judge Jennifer Bennett. He had to turn himself in and face the consequences of his actions. But something incredible happened when Michael stood before Judge Bennett. For the first time, she saw the miraculous change that had taken place in his life. She saw a man who had been broken, now standing tall and strong. And in that moment, she made the decision to pardon him, telling him to go and "pay it forward." And that's exactly what Michael Molthan has been doing for the past seven years. He has been paying it forward, using his own experiences to help others who are struggling with addiction and trauma. Through his powerful storytelling and his unwavering dedication, Michael has become a beacon of hope for those who have lost their way. His journey may have been filled with darkness, but Michael has emerged into the light, ready to guide others towards their own paths of healing and redemption. And that, my friends, is the true power of the human spirit.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-m2-the-rock-show-michael-molthan--3443849/support.

We are back after 2 weeks of Father's Day and VBS to ask the question: are you a hope dealer or a faith builder? Does your walk with Christ match how you're presenting; do you really have it all together? It takes faith and patience to follow the process that leads to progress in order to see prayers answered.
Often we look at communities which look broken and dysfunctional and we take them on as a problem to be solved. But long term change requires presence, love, and hope. In this conversation, Amy Williams, a hope dealer in Chicago talks about her experience living in a neighborhood with gang violence, visiting kids in jail, and doing youth ministry work for years. There is hope in the community and many of the solutions come from within that same community. We talk about the importance of listening to understand others, developing compassion, and finding identity and hope in God. So join us as we learn to see others like Jesus does – with dignity, worth, and compassion. Youth ministry veteran Amy Williams ministers to teens involved in gangs and those lost in the criminal justice system with a key strategy of life-on-life mentoring. As a certified gang intervention specialist, she heard God's call to move into a Latino gang neighborhood in Chicago's Humboldt Park community to be a "Hope Dealer" doing street outreach and walking life with young people on her block. Amy is project coordinator at New Life Centers, bringing in restorative justice programming to youth at juvenile prisons.Amy has been a youth pastor, a reentry coordinator, and a youth mentor and advocate. She is a graduate of both University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and National Louis University. She resides in Chicago and loves salsa dancing and is a true beach baby.Amy's Book:Worth SeeingAmy's Recommendations:It's OK That You're Not OKTattoos on the HeartJoin Our Patreon for Early Access and More: PatreonConnect with Joshua: jjohnson@allnations.usGo to www.shiftingculturepodcast.com to interact and donate. We all have a choice in life: to see through the lies or to believe them. And one of the greatest lies so many tend to believe is that their past disqualifies or defines them. So many find themselves stuck in the bondage and grip of shame, guilt, and condemnation attached to past decisions or mistakes. However, 1 Corinthians 6:11 reminds us, “and that is what some of you were. - But you've been washed, you've been sanctified, you've been justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” In other words my friends, we all have a common past - we come from a heritage of darkness - but because of the goodness and grace of God we can be brought from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. Joining us today is Joshua Broome, a former adult film star who embarked on a life-changing journey to fill the void in his heart. Despite fame and success, Joshua found emptiness. Battling depression and thoughts of self harm, he discovered the transformative power of Jesus. Now, he shares his story of redemption on podcasts, TV shows, and stages, spreading God's message of restoration all over the world. With a BS in Christian Ministries, Joshua and his wife, Hope, have been married for seven years, raising their four sons in Dallas, Texas. Our prayer is that through today's conversation you would remember this truth - no matter what you have done or what has happened to you, the love of Jesus Christ stands ready to change your future. Christ embraces all, even those who have committed the gravest of sins – as long as they are genuinely interested in converting and changing. Richard Kaufman is a great example of this, and he is here to share his inspiring journey of transformation from being a dope dealer to hope dealer. Joining Chad Burmeister, he looks back on how alcoholism and drugs messed up his life, put him behind bars, and made him suicidal. He opens up on how God worked wonders on him, even hearing His voice through a country song, allowing him to get back up on his feet. Richard explains how he now helps others get through the same tribulations as a coach and host of the Vertical Momentum Podcast. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

As we've discussed all throughout this month, love and relationships can be challenging and take a lot of time, attention, sacrifice, and intentionality. Therefore, as we wrap up the month of February and really this entire ‘What Is Love' series, we thought there were no better guests than bringing on a power couple who love Jesus as well as live, love, and lead others so well. Joining us again today is my dear friend - renowned speaker, hope dealer, & Harris Creek Baptist Church Young Adult's Pastor, Grant Troutt accompanied by his bride - best-selling author, renowned speaker, and social media influencer, Madi Prewett Troutt. What I love about these two is that although God has entrusted them with an incredible platform that has a lot of influence, it's evident that they are full of grace, humility, and find no greater joy than deflecting the honor and glory onto the Lord Himself. And what I love about today's conversation is that it truly is for everyone as we're going to be talking about how we can find true joy and satisfaction no matter the season and no matter your relationship status, as well as diving deep into the gift of marriage and reflecting on some strategies that can help couples love well or even turn their love around. We pray this would be a conversation that would be transformative in your life and those closest to you.Find out more about Harris Creek Young Adults: https://www.harriscreek.org/youngadults Madi's Website: https://madiprew.com/ Find out more and Purchase, ‘The Love Everybody Wants' HERE: https://www.theloveeverybodywants.com/
From the beginning, Bryan found himself in the deep waters of life: from gangs, drugs and dead-end jobs, all stemming from tragedy in his youth. In this episode, Jason interviews former DUCK DYNASTY cast member Bryan Rucker, as he shares his journey from a drug runner and convicted murderer to a public speaker and follower of Jesus, where he now serves to see the lives of others transformed. One of Rucker's earliest, life-shaping events, what he referred to as “trauma points,” was witnessing a man get shot outside his apartment at nine years old. Bryan got caught up in that culture, began dealing drugs and got involved in gangs, leading to his arrest for armed robbery. After serving two-and-a-half years in juvenile detention, he sold drugs again, making $60,000 a month.Rucker was eventually convicted of a gang-related shooting and faced a lifetime sentence for second-degree murder. “That was one of those moments in my life I didn't realize was going to be a turning point.” Once he had his son, Bryan was prompted to end his association with gangs and drug dealing, but it wasn't until he moved to West Monroe, Louisiana, to take care of his grandmother that the former atheist started to see God move in his life, as God opened a door for a position at the Duck Commander warehouse, known for DUCK DYNASTY fame.Watch Story Filmed by I Am Second: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QyBDzpxTzi8Follow Bryan:https://www.instagram.com/bryanrucker52/ Foundations of Masculinity Small Groups: https://www.smallgroups.braveco.org/Foundations of Masculinity For Your Church: https://www.church.braveco.org/Jason's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jayvallotton/CONNECT WITH BRAVECOWebsite: https://www.braveco.org/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/braveco.menInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/braveco.men/Shop: https://shop.braveco.org/ABOUT BRAVECOWe live in a time where men are hunting for the truth and looking for the codebook to manhood. "Give, but don't let it empty you." For over six years, Fausto has been the Hope Dealer, spreading the message of sobriety anywhere and everywhere he possibly can. But at what cost? We talk a lot on this podcast about taking care of yourself, no matter how busy you are with work, family, or other outside circumstances. Helping others, being of service, speaking at meetings, it's all important, but the inside work to recover and heal yourself must be ever-present. Fausto gives a great deal of himself to the recovery community, but has hit a crossroads on his own journey and is shifting gears. He's setting the Hope Dealer aside, and just Fausto is leaving for Bali, hopefully on a trip of self-discovery.
