TNR Gold Corp Executive Chairman Kirill Klip talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company's transition into a cash-flow-generating royalty business and the major catalysts surrounding the Los Azules copper project in Argentina. Klip described 2024 as a crucial year for TNR Gold, marking its graduation from a project generator to a royalty-focused company. “We are building the green energy metals royalty and gold company,” he said, noting that this shift is expected to crystallize market valuation and support share price momentum. A key milestone is the upcoming definitive feasibility study for the Los Azules copper, gold and silver project, operated by McEwen Mining. TNR Gold holds a royalty on the entire asset. Klip highlighted the strong economics already demonstrated in the 2023 preliminary assessment and suggested there could be a “substantial increase in all resources” in the updated study. The project has attracted major strategic investors including Stellantis, which committed over $275 million, and Rio Tinto, which entered via a $100 million venture. Klip also referenced potential new discoveries near the deposit and the possibility of McEwen Copper pursuing an IPO later this year. Klip added that TNR Gold recently released a corporate update reviewing M&A opportunities in the royalty space, and suggested the company's royalty holding could be valued up to $30 million based on comparable deals. Now, with high-grade drill results, infrastructure in place, and rising gold prices, Canadian Gold Corp is advancing exploration and evaluating a restart.   In this interview, Michael outlines: The historic resource of 240,000oz at 6.32 g/t and how recent drilling has extended high-grade mineralization beyond 1,000m vertical depth. Details of the ongoing 9,000m drill program, including results from the South Zone and potential for additional ounces per vertical meter. A clear restart strategy, supported by legacy infrastructure, permitting advantages, and a tight-knit regional mining community. In our 500th Episode, we bring you another distinguished guest that most of you will know. Rob McEwen, Chairman and Chief Owner of McEwen Mining, an exploration, development, and production mining company that mines and produces gold and silver in jurisdictions such as the US, Canada, Mexico, and Argentina. Rob is a prominent figure in the mining industry, known for his innovative leadership and entrepreneurial approach. He was the former CEO of Goldcorp taking the company from a market capitalization of $50 million to over $8 billion. Rob has won numerous awards and achievements including the “Order of Canada” back in 2007 and was inducted into the Mining Hall of Fame in 2017. We share his mining journey, the ups and downs of our industry and what you can learn, the history of McEwen Mining and what they have been doing more recently, and the outlook of our industry and so much more. A wealth of knowledge and wisdom so don’t miss this episode. KEY TAKEAWAYS Rob McEwen shared his extensive experience in the mining industry, detailing his transition from the investment sector to mining, and his success in growing Goldcorp significantly before founding McEwen Mining. McEwen discussed the complexities of the mining industry, including the difficulties of labor relations, as exemplified by a lengthy strike, and the importance of adapting to changing circumstances and expectations. There is a pressing need for the mining industry to improve its public image by demonstrating environmentally responsible practices and engaging with communities to change negative perceptions about mining. Rob emphasises the potential for technological advancements, such as automation and AI, to address labor shortages and improve operational efficiency, while also highlighting the exciting prospects of their large copper project in Argentina, which aims to set new standards for sustainable mining practices. BEST MOMENTS "I noticed there was a very different way of dealing with problems in the mining industry... it felt like I just stepped into a vat of quick-drying cement." "The union chose to no longer represent the workers and decertified... we went from producing 50,000 ounces a year at a cost of $360 an ounce to producing 500,000 ounces a year at a cost of $60 an ounce." "I think the industry needs to spend a lot more time showing the public that the work that's being done today is much more environmentally sensitive." "I'm a big believer that management... should have a large investment in their company... it keeps you focused on what is important." TNR Gold executive chairman Kirill Klip talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about significant developments in the Los Azules copper project in Argentina, in which TNR holds a 0.4% net smelter returns royalty. Klip highlighted the recent $70 million financing round led by McEwen Copper, with Rob McEwen himself investing $5 million and McEwen Mining contributing another $14 million. This financing follows previous substantial investments by Rob McEwen, Rio Tinto, and Stellantis. Klip emphasised the importance of the project reaching a bankable feasibility study, expected in the first quarter of next year. The recent political changes in Argentina, with new pro-reform measures, are anticipated to benefit the project by reducing red tape and providing tax cuts. Additionally, Kirill mentioned an update from Fundamental Research Corporation that reiterated a buy rating for TNR Gold and increased its target price. This is based on the ongoing positive developments in the Los Azules project and the favourable business environment in Argentina. Klip also discussed potential valuations for TNR Gold's NSR royalty from Los Azules, comparing it to similar deals in the industry and highlighting the project's potential to generate significant royalty revenue. TNR Gold Corp Executive Chairman Kirill Klip joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share significant updates on the Los Azules copper, gold, and silver project in San Juan, Argentina, provided by McEwen Mining. TNR holds a 0.4% net smelter returns royalty on the project, which is held by McEwen Copper, a subsidiary of McEwen Mining. Klip informed Proactive about the assay results from the recently completed drill season at Los Azules. The primary objectives of this season's infill drilling campaign were to confirm the size and grade of the deposit as compared to the 2023 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) estimate and to upgrade the resource categories for the upcoming feasibility study. Additionally, the campaign aimed to test for extensions of mineralization beyond the current pit shell and explore the large property package for other mineralized areas. The company completed 70,000 meters of drilling, with notable highlights including intervals such as 349.0 meters of 0.77% copper (Cu), including 232.0 meters of 0.86% Cu, and 382.5 meters of 0.54% Cu, including 74.0 meters of 0.86% Cu. Moreover, the results indicate the potential for expansion, as evidenced by the intersection of a long interval of low-grade mineralization in the Primary Zone, which transitioned into higher-grade mineralization towards the end of the hole. Importantly, this hole is located entirely outside of the 2023 PEA base case mineable pit shell. These updates from the Los Azules project signify promising developments and highlight the potential for further growth and expansion, positioning TNR Gold Corp for future success in its mining ventures. #proactiveinvestors #tnrgoldcorp #tsxv #tnr #mining #mcewenmining #CopperExploration, #ArgentinaMining, #RobMcEwan, #DrillingResults, #FeasibilityStudy, #GreenEnergyMetals, #PorphyrySystem, #RoyaltyInterest, #MiningIndustry, #CopperDeposit, #ExplorationSuccess, #MineralExploration, #EconomicAssessment, #ProjectExpansion, #InvestmentNews, #ResourceDevelopment, #MiningProjects, #FutureGrowth#invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Klip stated that TNR Gold is evolving into a green energy metals royalty and gold company through its portfolio, which includes a 0.4% net smelter returns (NSR) royalty on the giant Los Azules copper, gold, and silver project. Recent results from McEwen Copper Inc, a subsidiary of McEwen Mining, indicate a 3.2% increase in copper recovery at Los Azules, translating into an additional 172,000 tonnes of copper over the mine's 27-year lifespan. Klip also detailed the project's scale, with a preliminary economic assessment showing 27% increase in total copper, amounting to 11 billion pounds in the indicated category and 27 billion pounds in inferred category. This could equate to 68 million ounces of gold project equivalent. The Los Azules project, being among the world's ten largest copper projects, promises a substantial economic impact on Argentina. Klip suggested that Argentina offers a favorable political and economic environment for investments, potentially enhancing TNR Gold's valuation. We've brought together a stellar lineup of management teams, strategists and investors to highlight the compelling opportunities in the sector: copper, lithium, nickel, cobalt, vanadium and more. 2:16 Tracy Shuchart, CEO/Founder & Chief Market Strategist | Hill Tower Resource Advisors 15:27 Mark Selby, CEO & Director | Canada Nickel 30:05 John Ciampaglia, CEO & Senior Managing Partner | Sprott Asset Management 48:29 Christian Easterday, CEO & Managing Director | Hot Chili Ltd 1:05:45 Aurora Davidson, CEO | Amerigo 1:23:51 Mark Brennan, Executive Chairman & Founder | Ascendant Resources 1:35:51 Blake Hylands, CEO | Lithium Ionic 1:51:56 Dale Ginn, CEO & Director | Lithium One 1:58:16 Adam Webb, Product Director | Benchmark Mineral Intelligence 2:12:35 Robert McEwen, Executive Chairman & Chief Owner | McEwen Mining 2:34:57 Closing Notes LEAD PARTNERS: Hill Tower Resource Advisors: https://hilltowerresourceadvisors.com/ Canada Nickel: https://canadanickel.com/ Sprott: https://sprottetfs.com/ Grizzle Research & Quant: https://grizzleresearch.substack.com/ COMPANIES: Canada Nickel: https://canadanickel.com/ Hot Chili: https://www.hotchili.net.au/ Amerigo: https://www.amerigoresources.com/ Ascendant Resources: https://www.ascendantresources.com/ Lithium Ionic: https://lithiumionic.com/ Lithium One: https://www.lithiumonemetals.com/ McEwen Mining: https://mcewenmining.com/ Subscribe to receive Grizzle's free investment research on battery metals: https://grizzleresearch.substack.com/ Follow us on Twitter: @thomasg_grizzle @scottw_grizzle @grizzlemedia #lithum #nickel #copper

In the first segment of this week's long-form episode, we welcome in Eric Basmajian of EPB Research. Eric is a student of the business cycle so it was fitting to speak with him the day the market took peak notice into ADP Payrolls numbers. After crushing expectations, the bond market and the stock market sold off. I talk with Eric about the bond market clearly being ill-supportive of the current valuations of the stock market in the US and what it all means to our current business cycle. We then turn to McEwen Mining with Executive Chairman Rob McEwen and VP of McEwen Copper Michael Meding. Much of the conversation is focused on the Los Azules copper project in San Juan Province of Argentina. The company recently published a PEA for the project which highlights a very large project, both in scale and economics. In fact, it might be the biggest project Rob McEwen has ever taken on. I talk with both individuals about the company's gold projects setting with Los Azules also on the books, their two important shareholders in McEwen Copper, and how the business landscape in the copper space is much different now than the gold space may have ever been. We'd like to thank our sponsors: Western Copper and Gold is focused on developing the world-class Casino project in Canada's Yukon Territory. The Casino project consists of an impressive 11 billion pounds of copper and 21 million ounces of gold in an overall resource. Western Copper and Gold trades on the TSX and the NYSE American with WRN. Be sure to follow the company via their website, www.westerncopperandgold.com. ASCU is an early-stage copper developer and explorer of the Cactus Mine and its satellite project, Parks/Salyer, both situated on a 4km mine trend on private land in Arizona's porphyry copper district. Opportunity for significant growth and scale exist along the trend, while future capex requirements outlined in the Cactus PEA benefit from significant onsite and nearby access to infrastructure. The Company is led by an executive management team and Board which have a long-standing track record of successful project delivery in North America. For more information, please visit www.arizonasonoran.com. Fireweed Metals is advancing 3 different projects within the Yukon and Northwest Territories, including the flagship Macmillan Pass Project, a large zinc-lead-silver deposit and the Mactung Project, one of the largest and highest-grade tungsten deposits in the world. Fireweed plans to advance these projects through exploration, resource definition, metallurgy, engineering, economic studies and collaboration with indigenous people on the path to production. TNR Gold Executive Chairman Kirill Klip joins Natalie Stoberman to discuss the latest share buy back program as well as recent developments at its four major drilling projects. Klip says the company launched its share buyback under the belief that current market prices do not reflect the true value of TNR Gold's shares. Klip adds the company may purchase up to a maximum of 9,548,639 common shares, representing approximately five percent of the TNR Gold's outstanding shares. TNR holds a 1.5 percent NSR Royalty on the Mariana Lithium Project in Argentina, of which 0.15% NSR royalty is held on behalf of a shareholder. Ganfeng Lithium's subsidiary, Litio Minera Argentina, has the right to repurchase 1.0 percent of the NSR royalty on the Mariana Project, of which 0.9% is the Company's NSR Royalty interest. The Mariana Lithium Project is 100 percent owned by Ganfeng Lithium. The Mariana Lithium Project has been approved by the Argentina provincial government of Salta for an environmental impact report, and the construction of a 20,000 tons-per-annum lithium chloride plant has commenced. TNR also holds a seven percent net profits royalty holding on the Batidero I and II properties of the Josemaria Project that is being developed by Lundin Mining. Lundin Mining is part of the Lundin Group, a portfolio of companies producing a variety of commodities in several countries worldwide. Welcome back to another episode of Wall Street Unplugged!   I just returned home from the 2017 Sprott Natural Resource Symposium in Vancouver… my go-to conference each year.   It’s where the most successful junior mining investors and executives gather from around the globe… where I've learned about companies like McEwen Mining, Sandstorm Gold, and Northern Dynasty... and where I get to sit in exclusive closed-door sessions with company insiders.   On this week's show, I'm honored to re-introduce the Executive Chairman of, by far, the most promising company of this year’s Symposium.   His name is Ivan Bebek.   His company is about to embark on one of the largest drilling programs in the junior resource space today. And if they hit… investors could see a 50%-plus pop in shares almost immediately.   It’s the type of risk/reward setup that’s too favorable to ignore.   That’s the good news…   Some of what I witnessed in Vancouver was cringeworthy… the same pump and dump scams I’ve seen too many times.   It reminded me why the natural resource industry can be so dangerous for investors. So on this week's Educational Segment, I’ll remind you of the key things to watch out for.   Good Investing, Frank Curzio

Wall Street Unplugged - What's Really Moving These Markets

Mining legend and CEO of McEwen Mining, Rob McEwen talks about the recent surge in gold stocks and why we are still in the early innings of a long-term bull market.   McEwen then talks about his early years in the mining industry.  This includes death threats, class action lawsuits, and a four year strike which led to the creation of Goldcorp - one of the biggest gold producers in the world.   McEwen is pioneer in the mining industry.  And McEwen Mining is one of the few shareholder-friendly companies in the industry that does not use leverage, pays a solid dividend and has huge insider ownership.  That's why he's made his early investors a fortune in the mining industry over the past 40 years.
