Should the Waters Take Us a is a novel of great beauty…centered around the swamp letters in the south of Louisianna. Whereas so many novels focus on story and character-this one focusses on place and how this place has shaped the lives of the characters that live there. As climate change shifts the land beneath our feet and oil companies have raided the Acadian swamps for their natural resources, the Cajun background is ever changing, and often full of tragedy. We also talk to Final Draft, the bookstore in Kansas that JUST opened. We check in to see how their opening went and how they are feeling now. Join us! Geoffrey Hoppe, channeler of Adamus Saint-Germain, reveals that our biggest barrier isn't trauma—but refusing to loosen the gravity grip of our identity. Healing only keeps you stuck. True transformation comes from releasing gravity and expanding into new sentience. From channeling his past-life father Tobias to witnessing Tobias reincarnate as "Sam" just to experience love, Geoffrey shows why humanity is now overhauling into a new species. Stop healing—start changing. Your past lives are rewriting their stories. The future isn't distant—it's arriving in your present. We explore the 2033–2034 shift, Gaia's departure, AI as consciousness mirror, time as sentience, and why problems persist because you're still enjoying them. The next human species is waiting in your light. Will you keep fixing the old you—or finally release and emerge?___

Erica blends her extensive professional background with her personal life experiences to offer powerful and transformative programs, services, products, and the Entrepreneur's Café Podcast, rich with multi-faceted wisdom—in doing so, her work fosters a sense of well-being for clients, readers, and podcast listeners worldwide. Erica lives in Northern California with her husband, Steve, and a garden of lavender that soothes her soul.   In this episode, Jennie Bellinger and Erica Ross-Krieger discuss: Recognizing and celebrating small wins Shifting from fear-based to love-based decision making Identifying and challenging internal saboteurs Staying present and coming to your senses Potential collaboration between Jennie and Erica   Key Takeaways: Catching and celebrating small wins, even a simple fist pump, can be a powerful way to shift your mindset from fear to love. Becoming aware of your inner saboteurs, such as the "judge," is the first step to overcoming them, and rather than judging yourself for these negative thought patterns, approach them with curiosity and compassion, and actively work to replace them with more empowering beliefs. By consciously shifting your attention to your senses and the immediate experience, you can short-circuit the fear response and access your more resourceful, "sage" state of mind. Combine practical business strategies, such as 90-day goal-setting, with emotional intelligence work, as it can be a powerful formula for sustainable success.  The synergy between Jennie's direct sales expertise and Erica's Positive Intelligence coaching suggests an exciting potential combination.   "The Zen theory of change. Faith deconstruction has become one of the defining conversations in modern Christianity—but what does it actually mean to deconstruct your faith? In this episode of The Biblical Mind Podcast, Dru Johnson sits down with pastor, YouTuber, and book reviewer Joel Wentz to explore why so many Christians are questioning their beliefs and how those questions can lead to deeper spiritual maturity rather than cynicism.Drawing from his own experience growing up in evangelical Christianity, Joel shares how wrestling with doctrines like hell, eschatology, and biblical interpretation led him through a season of deconstruction before discovering a richer understanding of historic Christian faith. Together, Dru and Joel discuss the difference between sincere faith exploration and tearing down beliefs for their own sake, the role of church culture and church hurt, why asking difficult questions is deeply biblical, and how the Nicene Creed and church history provide stability amid uncertainty. The conversation also explores theological humility, the importance of Christian tradition, the dangers of intellectual arrogance, and how pastors, churches, and Christian communities can create safe spaces for honest questions without abandoning biblical orthodoxy.Whether you're personally deconstructing your faith, walking alongside someone who is, or simply want to understand one of today's most important conversations in Christianity, this episode offers thoughtful, compassionate, and biblically grounded wisdom.Visit Joel's youtube channel (Click Here), or his Patreon (Click Here)Contact us at The Biblical Mind: Click HereWe are listener supported. Money Skills For Therapists
179: Valuing Equitable Dynamics as the Breadwinner of Your Household with Maegan Megginson

Money Skills For Therapists

It's becoming increasingly common for me to work with therapy practice owners who are the primary breadwinner and/or a female in a hetero relationship. While this shift in dynamics is not only familiar to be, and a positive step towards gender equality, it can also bring its own set of challenges and complexities. Relationships are challenging anyway, but when you add the layer of one person earning the Lionshare of the household income, honest and open communication about responsibilities, expectations, and goals between both partners becomes even more important. Another breadwinning therapist, Maegan Megginson, joins me today to help discuss being the female breadwinner and provide an additional behind-the-scenes perspective on how a couple might navigate a relationship where partners contribute differently. Navigating Roles & Responsibilities in a Relationship Where One Person Earns More (00:03:15) Navigating Unequal Financial Responsibilities in Relationships (00:17:08) Imbalanced Financial Contributions in Romantic Partnerships (00:19:49) Recognizing the Richness of Non-Monetary Contributions (00:30:26) Imbalance in Relationship Responsibilities: Causes and Solutions (00:41:01) Equitable Dynamics in Breadwinning Relationships (00:41:01) Navigating Relationship Dynamics as Breadwinner (00:41:39) Financial Equity and Communication in Relationships (00:41:39) Navigating Financial Management as the Primary Earner Recognizing Non-Monetary Contributions in Relationships Acknowledging both financial and non-financial contributions helps to create a sense of equity and balance in the relationship. It reinforces the idea that each partner's role is valued and important, regardless of who earns more money. Even if one partner is the main breadwinner, it's crucial to share responsibilities in other aspects of the relationship, such as household chores, childcare, and decision-making. This helps to create a sense of equality and balance in the partnership. (00:31:02) "I think when two people have explicitly negotiated, here's who's going to make the money, and here's what the other person's going to be doing. That's healthy, right? That's strong. That's solid." - Maegan Megginson Guiding Your Relationship to Feel More Equitable: Begin having conversations with your partner about financial AND non-financial, much appreciated contributions to the relationship aiming for both partners to feel valued, heard, and respected for their contributions. If you find yourself shouldering the emotional and/or financial burden, acknowledge this imbalance and address it with your partner. Avoid staying in a situation that is draining you. If you've unexpectedly become the breadwinner, view it as an opportunity to learn new financial skills. Take the initiative to educate yourself on managing money effectively for your household. Remember that financial contributions are just one aspect of the relationship. Acknowledge and appreciate all forms of contributions, including non-monetary ones that support the healthy function of your household. Interested in working with Linzy? Ever wonder why you can recognise your friend's face instantly but struggle to remember where you put your keys? Your brain is running the most sophisticated learning system ever created, and most of us have no clue how it actually works. Nicholas Shea is an Oxford and King's College Researcher working in philosophy of mind, cognitive neuroscience and artificial intelligence. He breaks down the fascinating psychology behind how we build concepts in our minds. Think of concepts as mental shortcuts - when you see a dog, you don't analyse four legs, fur, and a tail. Your brain instantly accesses everything you know about dogs. We dissect these fundamental building blocks of learning into how the brain actually works and learns, and build mastery. Three key takeaways: What builds basic concepts into subject mastery? How do emotions inform decision-making? Exploring the “Richness” of the Mother-in-Law Relationship  In this episode, we discuss how to embrace change as our children grow and how to practice mindful presence and trust as a parent.  We talk about the importance of showing up—sometimes just being there without fixing or controlling—and allowing our children to navigate their own paths.   Pearls of Wisdom: No exam—or any milestone—is worth your health. Prioritize well-being over perfection. Your kids don't need fixing; they need you to hold space, listen, and trust them. Getting help helps—building a supportive village makes the journey lighter and richer. Let go of the need to control outcomes; instead, trust your children's process of growing up. Today's podcast features Bren Veziroglu. Bren is a movement educator, blending scientific principles with personal exploration in his teaching. He has studied globally with top instructors across disciplines, emphasizing scalability, engagement, and physicality in his approach. Bren is an outspoken proponent of the constraint-led approach to sport, particularly in the martial arts. In many sports and strength training programs, skill development is often reduced to rigid drills and dry repetition. While foundational qualities like strength and endurance can be trained straightforwardly, complex skills require a richer, more dynamic approach—one that embraces the full range of movement our bodies are capable of. Research consistently supports a learner-centered, constraint-led method as being more effective for long-term learning and performance. In this episode, Bren dives into the integration of traditional strength and mobility work with dynamic movement and motor learning concepts. He shares practical insights on skill acquisition, mobility, jump training, and the role of partner-based work in foundational strength exercises—offering a fresh perspective on how we can build more effective and engaging training environments.
