Ly shares with you her experience with this, and how she was embarrassed of this condition, felt as if her worth was attached to her hair and that hair on your head was the only way to be feminine. Now Ly has recreated what "beauty and femininity" is to her. Ly decided to shave her head, embrace who she was, and live a bold and fabulous life. Her supportive partner even shaved his head as well to support her and encouraged her to do it. I want to talk to you about the different types of domestic violent abuse...WHY?Because as a survivor of domestic violence, I was completely UNAWARE of the types of abuse I was enduring. It wasn't until I was out that I realised what happened to me...There are 11 types of domestic violent abuse... I personally experience 8/11 of different types of abuse... We need to be aware.We need to be informed.We need to take action because on average 76 women die each week from domestic violence... This powerful and strong woman nearly died three times -- once from septicemia, once from malnourishment due to my gut condition (where my skin condition developed) - I was 40kg, and once due to a motorcycle accident. Jess shares with you all her adversity struggles with this condition, a skin condition that broke out all over her body and her journey with discovering that her worth was NOT based on her LOOKS.
