Today you'll hear from Vicki Campos-Dimmer about her career in Change Management. Her transition into change management came at a critical juncture in her career. Coming off a recent downsizing of her department, as part of an organizational restructuring, Vicki did a deep dive into her desire and career aspirations to remain in the communication profession. She was very interested in expanding her skillset and had recently explored project management as a potential profession. In researching other potential career paths for someone with her background, she happened to discover change management.While exploring different career options that align with her background, she stumbled upon change management. The mix of communication, instructional design, training, and project management caught her eye. She saw it as a chance to use her 15+years of experience and at the same time, learn new things and grow in a direction she had never tried before. This unique combo gave Vicki the ability to use her skills and improve herself personally and professionally. One of the most significant factors in her successful transition to change management was working with a career coach. A career coach is much more than a resume writer, they can provide invaluable guidance to help identify your strengths and weaknesses, develop a career plan, and navigate the job search process. They also provided emotional support and accountability during many challenging times through the job search process and career transition. They can help you define your career goals, develop a strategy for achieving them, and overcome the obstacles that may arise along the way. Por Eduardo Madeira A Câmara dos Deputados rejeitou na última quarta-feira, dia 20 a Proposta de Emenda à Constituição (PEC) que pretendia alterar a composição do Conselho Nacional do Ministério Público (CNMP). A aprovação necessitava de pelo menos três quintos dos deputados, ou seja, 308 votos em dois turnos. Na votação, houve 297 votos favoráveis e 182 contrários. Os órgãos ligados ao Ministério Público eram contrários à proposta por entenderem que haverá interferência política no CNMP, caso da Associação Catarinense do Ministério Público (ACMP). Em entrevista ao Cruz de Malta Notícias desta quinta-feira, dia 21, o presidente da ACMP, Marcelo Gomes Silva, classificou o resultado da votação como um “alívio momentâneo” e afirmou que a mobilização do Ministério Público em todo o país influenciou no voto dos deputados. Entretanto, Silva se disse preocupado com a possibilidade de o texto original ser votado, algo cogitado pela presidência da Câmara. Ouça abaixo a entrevista completa:

Maria Widström is a change management consultant from Stockholm, Sweden, who has been an active member of the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) for five years. Recently she has been working on an outreach and volunteer program. The ACMP Change Management Conference celebrated its fifth year in 2016. Donna Brighton, ACMP President, and Rhiannon Cooke, ACMP Vice President, graced Agile Amped with their presence to share their thoughts on the occasion as well as discuss how the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) and the annual Change Management conference have grown since both were conceived in 2011. A key component to the explosive growth of the association and the need for change management globally is the standardization of professional change management practices.
