She is best known for her DIY/Punk/Surrealist/German Expressionist films, lush music videos, and experimental horror-fairy tales and dark comedies, as well as the voice of Triana Orpheus on Adult Swim's cartoon "The Venture Bros." Her films have screened at the MoMA, The Getty Museum, myriad festivals and many one-woman shows at galleries and theaters worldwide such as Nighthawk Cinemas, The Egyptian in LA, Duolin Museum in China and Anthology Film Archives. She is currently in production on her horror film “Under the Midnight Sun” with Kevin Corrigan and Rubin Rabasa. Her DIY cable-access TV show “Turn of the Century” with Dame Darcy is streaming on Night Flight Plus, with guest stars Courtney Love, Thurston Moore and Tiny Tim. Her current cable-access TV show “The POX Show” has had guest stars: H Jon Benjamin, Steve Severin (“Siouxsie and the Banshees”), Eve Plumb, Clayne Crawford, James Duval, Jonathan Katz (“Dr. Katz”) and Lucien Greaves of The Satanic Temple. Hammer is executive producer and editor on a new feature film "Montauk", starring Molly Ringwald, Charlie Tahan (“Ozark”), and Sadie Calvano (“Mom”) to be released in 2026, and she is co-creator and co-star of the series "Great Kills" (Dir James Merendino/”SLC Punk”) now streaming on Amazon Prime, Roku and Tubi. Season two is about to drop with co-stars: Cathy Moriarty, Eric Roberts, and Bai Ling (“The Crow”). Hammer is executive producer and editor on Levi Wilson's short film “Luke and Emma” which was acquired by AMC+ with the feature now in pre-production. Hammer is also a soundtrack composer, having sung in Goth bands “Requiem in White”, “Mors Syphlitica”, “The Terror Twins”, “Dakini” (Solo) and currently “Radiana.” All of her bands early albums, starting with “Requiem in White”, are being re-released on vinyl, CD, and digital by The Circle Music (Greece). Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHThe movie kicks off with—yep, you guessed it—a yule log. A woman named Dianne shows up and begins vacuuming the floor. There's a knock at the door, and it's another woman claiming her car broke down. Suddenly, her son invites himself in, and we see Dianne get pushed down in front of the camera. Then a masked man appears and comes after her. Just then, the video is paused, and we realize the police are watching the footage. Apparently, Dianne doesn't make it—and she's not the only one.From what I gather, Dianne was cleaning the house for a group of renters who were about to arrive. And they do. All of them end up dead—except one: Zoe. But Zoe is not doing well. And Zoe knows the truth: it wasn't a person that did this. Rather, it was a killer log that floats around and murders people.Speaking of which, a police officer is watching more of the tape when he hears a noise from the evidence room. He goes to check it out—and it's the yule log. He tries to fight back, but the yule log saws off his leg with a chainsaw and blows up the building with dynamite, destroying the tape.Zoe tries to return to normal life, but she keeps seeing the log everywhere and ends up getting fired from her job. The police tell her the case is closed—they're convinced the masked man is the killer. Zoe insists, “No, it's the log!” But no one believes her.Her friend Jakester suggests they get away from it all and spend Christmas on an island. They get in the car—but Santa makes them crash into a tree. A tow truck driver shows up, and he's a total hunk.Zoe starts wandering around this small town, axe in hand, and notices things get oddly brighter when she enters Main Street. She keeps bumping into hunks, but she doesn't have time for that. The first hunk is an influencer named Bo Regards, and he announces, “WE'RE GOING TO GET DINNER!” After the fourth hunk knocks her over, she yells for help. A hunky Christmas ornament shop owner comes to her rescue and brings her inside. She meets his kid and his Nana and learns that the guy—Bert—is a widower. She accidentally knocks over all the ornaments and tries to fix them, but then she gets a text from Bo about dinner plans. Turns out Bo has opened his own competing ornament shop. Unfortunate.Meanwhile, the yule log is on its own adventure. It sneaks into the trunk of a family going camping and proceeds to brutally kill them all.Bo agrees to let Zoe use his helicopter, but it leaves without her. As she walks back to town, Bert and his family pick her up and offer to let her stay with them. She opens up to Bert about what happened, and he's like, “Don't worry—I know just what you need.” He's built a machine that helps people process trauma. And it works. Her life changes. She's full of holiday cheer and no longer afraid of the yule log.Zoe and Bert have a wonderful day together—blowing bubbles by the creek, sliding down a fire pole, etc. Everything seems great—until we see the yule log peeking around a corner.But don't worry—Santa shows up and captures it in a bag. He runs it through a wood chipper, then buries the pieces in a shallow grave and pours cement over it. Looks like the nightmare is finally over.Except… one tiny wood strip escapes. It flies through the air and gives Nana a splinter.They all go inside for dinner, and—don't ask me why—Zoe opens the freezer and sees a mini version of Nana, who invites her inside. Zoe climbs in and shrinks down too. Her ex, Alex, is also in the freezer, working on his boxing skills. (I have no idea, man.)The next day, Nana complains about her stomach—but I'm sure it's nothing.At Christmas dinner, chaos erupts. Nana starts vomiting all over the food and then starts choking. One of the Cards tries to give her the Heimlich when suddenly they're stabbed by a giant tree branch. More branches burst from Nana until her head pops off—and the yule log crawls out from the head hole.Nana Yule Log heads to the town square, where the Yule Log Festival is happening. She lights all the other yule logs on fire, and they begin attacking the townspeople.She tracks Zoe and Bert back to his house, where they discover that the ashes of their loved ones are the only thing that can extinguish the fire.They win! Zoe decides it's best to leave town.But in the end, she returns for the store's grand re-opening—and kisses Bert.

It's the final episode before WWF No Way Out and Cactus Jack and Triple H find themselves on opposite sides of an awesome six man tag that also features The Big Show, The Rock, Kane and X-Pac. Celebration typically takes place every one or two years. The next event will be in Los Angeles in April 2027. As far as the news from this year's event, let's break it down into bite-sized chunks.- Shawn Levy's Star Wars film starring Ryan Gosling will be called Star Wars: Starfighter and will come out in May 2027. The film takes place a couple of years after The Rise of Skywalker, but is a standalone project.- A Darth Maul animated series starring Sam Witwer called Maul: Shadow Lord will debut on Disney+ in 2026.- First footage from The Mandalorian and Grogu was shown to attendees, but no trailer has been released yet for the 2026 film from Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni.- Animated anthology series Star Wars: Visions will return for a third season this October with three of the most popular storylines from season one continuing.- Dave Filoni talked about Ahsoka season 2, confirming Hayden Christensen will return and showed first looks at Rory McCann as the replacement for Ray Stevenson in the role of Baylan Skoll.Netflix released the first trailer for the second and final season of The Sandman. The trailer showed us more of the family of cosmic beings who are coming together after Morpheus, the King of Dreams, has been rebuilding his kingdom. The show will release six episodes on July 3 and the final five on July 24.Alicia Silverstone is attached to reprise the role of Cher Horowitz in a Clueless sequel series at Peacock that is currently in early development.Warner Brother's Ryan Coogler film Sinners took the number one spot at the domestic box office from A Mincraft Movie this weekend, pulling in $45.6 million dollars. The film is the first R Rated horror movie to earn an A Cinema Score in 35 years.A reboot film of Highlander directed by Chad Stahelski and starring Henry Cavill has been in development for nearly a decade at Lionsgate. Now, the project is moving forward, but it will be headed to Amazon MGM Studios' United Artists, which is in final negotiations to acquire the package from Lionsgate.The first trailer for Jordan Peele's latest horror film Him has been released. The film stars Marlon Wayans and Tyriq Withers and will be released in theaters on September 19.Oscar voters will no longer be able to cast final ballots in categories in which they haven't seen all of the nominees, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced on Monday.Lost showrunners Carlton Cuse and Nick Cuse are developing a Star Wars series for Disney+ that is in the very early stages of development.Michael Bay and Sydney Sweeney are teaming up for a film adaptation of the Sega racing video game OutRun for Universal. Bay will direct and Sweeney will produce. The project is in the very early stages of development.Sarah Michelle Gellar and Elijah Wood have been cast to star in Searchlights Ready or Not: Here I Come. The film from Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett is a follow up to 2019's horror hit Ready or Not. Gellar and Wood will star alongside Samara Weaving, who reprises her role as Grace, and Kathryn Newton.The first trailer has been released for season 8 of Rick and Morty. The new season will begin streaming on May 25 on Adult Swim.Another Enola Holmes film is officially in the works at Netflix, the third in the series. Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill will both return to star. Production is now underway in the UK.
