We live in a world obsessed with success.   Social media bombards us with highlight reels of people's lives. We're constantly comparing ourselves, wondering why we're not as successful as the next person.   They are good at… cooking – I'll try to be like that.home keeping –  Style & fitness – Automotive repair – A decent man would be able fix up his car! Under-water basketweaving – I'd like to give that a shot. 77% of millennials (25 to 39-year-olds) 83% of Gen Z (16 to 24-year-olds) feel pressure to reach traditional life milestones earlier than previous generations.   This is the thought at work… I have to be good at all the things…I have to accomplish all the things…If I don't, I am unhappy, unfulfilled, a failure… It's exhausting! But what if I told you… The key to success isn't about fixing what's wrong with you, but maximizing what's right with you?   Success is not become better at all the things…Success is becoming an expert at the unique strengths God has invested in you.   GOD: Let's look at a success story from the Bible – Joseph.   JosephFancy Coat and Big Dreams   Son of Israel/Jacob Gift from his Dad - coat of many colors. Gift from God – Spiritual Dreams & AdministrationHis gifts did not make him popular with his brothers. In fact, it landed him in a pit and then sold into slavery.   Pit   God's plan for us is sometimes scary.   Joseph is sold into slavery to a man named Potiphar.   Pit -> Potiphar   God's gifting is still at work.Potiphar notices… and puts Joseph in charge of his household. (Genesis 39:4)   Administrative gifting. Manages the house.   BUT Potiphar's wife accuses Joseph of sexual assault- wrongfully by the way. Pit -> Potiphar -> Prison   God's plan for us is sometimes scary.   But God's gifting is still at work.   The warden of the Prison notices… puts Joseph in charge of managing the prison. (Genesis 39:22)   In the prison Joseph gets better at his gifts…He went from managing a household to managing an entire prison organization.He went from having dreams to interpreting the dreams of others. (The cupbearer and baker – Genesis 40)   No matter the hardship… his gifting causes Joseph to rise.   Your gifts still work in hard times   This is a hard time… what should I do?USE YOUR GIFTS!The economy is rough… what should I do? Hello beautiful friends! I'm so excited to talk about today's topic - manifesting and law of attraction at the expert level. This is a topic near and dear to my heart as a long term listener to those coaches who are what Abraham Hicks would call "at the leading edge" of this work.  As a simple break down, here are the steps that make this work the most easily understandable to me and my hope that it helps you understand it more deeply as well. Listen to the entire episode for the breakdown of what each step truly entails, from my perspective.  Allow yourself to let joy, in its purest form, be your intent or goal post that you are reaching for each and every day. Joy for joy's sake  Allow yourself to experience each day as they naturally unfold; go to work, spend time with your kids, go to the park, just do what you would typically do. But while you are experiencing your day allow yourself to be aware of any contrast that arises. There is no need to wake up and visualize the thing you're trying to manifest, or affirm to yourself that it's done. Just naturally move through the day  Allow contrast to naturally occur throughout your day; meaning notice the thoughts, notice the circumstances, and notice the interactions that all cause you to separate from that natural joy that you committed to experiencing that day  Allow yourself to fixate on the contrast only as long as it takes to gain clarity on what your desire is in that moment. Then shift your perspective to the desire and fixate there until you feel a vibrational shift in the body; meaning you feel better than you did when the contrast presented itself to you  Once you have shifted the energy on the topic, move back into your day fixating on joy for joy's sake  Continue doing this all day every day. Typically, the companies Draft.Dev works with are businesses that design tools for software engineers. They create content around things like continuous integration platforms and other complex software tools. The main issue companies experience is that they actually need someone with a software development background to write this technical content. This is where Draft.Dev comes in - they have the software expertise and a background in creating strong content. They married these ideas and Draft.Dev was born.  Karl explains that Draft.Dev typically works with publicly traded companies that build platforms and  tools for software developers and engineers. He shares that, when marketing to this demographic, you have to not only explain the benefits of your tool or platform; you have to demonstrate the practical uses and applications of it. This requires a level of technical expertise, and traditional marketing teams struggle immensely with this.  Josh and Karl also discuss what the market traditionally does outside of the solutions Draft.Dev offers. Karl says that developers are notoriously hard to reach and market to. They'll block ads or email addresses – marketing to such a savvy group of prospects requires avoiding hard selling to them. You have to come off as authentic and authoritative in the space; in other words, your marketing team needs to know their stuff.  When you're writing complex and deep content, you need to come off as an expert. The standard freelance copywriter won't always know if what they're saying is totally accurate in such niches. You have to outsource the expertise itself to capture that essence in your content. Many companies now hire specialized developer marketing teams because these issues with content are so pervasive in the space. Draft.Dev manages to differentiate themselves in their niche, which has resulted in rapid growth for them. Draft.Dev doesn't have many competitors at this time. They stand out in their space and much of their business is word of mouth. Their team has over 150 writers (and they're still growing).
