In this episode of Tin Foil Hat, Jay Dyer and Jamie Dyer Hanshaw join the show for a sharp discussion on how social media is reshaping behavior and deepening division, the controversial downsides of modern feminism, and the ongoing tension between men and women. They also question whether Donald Trump was truly in control or part of a larger system, and debate whether a paranoid public is more dangerous than a compliant one. Throughout it all, they frame comedy as a key battleground for free speech and cultural influence. The Denver February 2026 market update is here, and active listings nearly hit 9,000 — 5% above last year — with Chris Lopez calling for inventory to break 15,000 before summer. At the same time, rates briefly touched below 6% for the first time in recent memory, triggering a refi wave that helped some borrowers drop from 6.625% to 5.75% with closing costs covered. The purchase market, though, barely flinched. Chris Lopez hosts the Denver February 2026 market update roundup with Brandon Scholten of Keyrenter Property Management and Troy Howell of Nova Home Loans. Together they dig into the latest DMAR report numbers, two deals that closed this month, and some candid takes on where Denver’s apartment market, condo segment, and office sector are actually headed. On the deals side, Troy walks through a Pueblo duplex acquisition where the buyer used a DSCR cash-out refi on a free-and-clear rental to cover the full 30% down — plus walking away with cash left over. And an Aurora 14-bed triplex that went from a webinar deal to a signed contract to a 3pm closing, all at 5% down, a $27K seller credit, and a 5.625% rate on a 30-year fixed. In This Episode We Cover: Why Denver’s inventory jump in February was historically unusual Who actually locked when rates dipped below 6% — and what they saved Chris’s call that closed prices will fall further in 2026 The Fannie Mae condo rule that’s killing deals in otherwise solid complexes How one investor bought a Pueblo duplex with no cash out of pocket The Aurora triplex that went from webinar deal to closing day in one month Why stadium proximity rarely pays off the way investors expect Denver’s real apartment vacancy rate — and why 2028 looks very different The affordable housing fee lawsuit and what it means for small developers Where downtown office demand is actually going Whether you’re managing existing rentals, watching for the right entry point, or actively building your Colorado portfolio, this episode gives you the ground-level data and deal examples you need to make sharper decisions this spring. “Gold is the source of wealth of last resort. It's your insurance policy,” says Lobo Tiggre, principal analyst and editor of IndependentSpeculator.com. In the interview with Daniela Cambone, Tiggre argues that the recent correction in precious metals is a healthy pause, not the end of the bull run. "I have been looking for some period of correction and consolidation," he states, noting that "anytime something pulls a hockey stick... some correction and consolidation wouldn't be surprising."While gold serves as insurance, Tiggre sees even greater upside potential in silver. "If you want to say, 'OK, well, if you're gonna adjust silver for inflation, we still haven't hit an all-time high, so it has to go much higher,' like last I saw, the CPI-adjusted all-time high for silver was $200 an ounce. So we're nowhere near the top."Beyond the metals, Tiggre offers a stark macro view, suggesting the conflict in the Middle East introduces a new variable, but warns investors to "not exactly look through it, but correct for it." Watch the interview to learn more about what he predicts for uranium, copper, and the resource cycle's next move.

Oregon Ducks bolster their defensive line with Louisiana Monroe transfer Jerome Simmons—can his size and raw athleticism finally pay off in the Big Ten? At 6'4" and 333 pounds, Simmons brings rare physical tools, but questions remain about his consistency and fit among Oregon's top-tier defensive fronts. Brian Smith breaks down Simmons's JUCO dominance, his fluctuating production at UL Monroe, and what Oregon's coaching staff must unlock for Simmons to become a legitimate rotational piece. The conversation covers recent defensive line departures, spring battles with transfers like D'Antre Robinson, and the challenge of finding elite defensive tackles compared to Oregon's loaded wide receiver room. Will Dan Lanning's approach turn Simmons into a crucial asset, or is he merely playing for depth behind stars like A'Mauri Washington and Bear Alexander? Don't miss this deep dive into the Ducks' roster evolution and their path to Big Ten contention. Everydayer Club If you never miss an episode, it's time to make it official. Interview with Pascal Hamelin, President & CEO of Abcourt Mines Inc.Our previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/abcourt-mines-tsxvabi-cash-flow-in-sight-with-sleeping-giant-ramp-flordin-drills-8693Recording date: 4th March 2026Abcourt Mines (TSXV:ABI) is one of the few junior mining companies to have made the full transition from developer to profitable gold producer in the current cycle. Operating the 100%-owned Sleeping Giant mine and mill in Quebec's Abitibi region, the company recorded its first gold sales in September 2025 and delivered 837 ounces in Q4 2025 which enough to generate a profit from operations. That alone sets Abcourt apart from the majority of junior miners at a comparable stage. The investment case is centred on a single, clearly quantifiable opportunity: the Sleeping Giant mill is running at less than 20% of its nameplate capacity of 800 tonnes per day. The infrastructure is built, commissioned, and performing at over 96% gold recovery. The constraint is not technology or capital, it is underground mining capacity, which is a workforce and development challenge the company is actively and systematically addressing.CEO Pascal Hamelin has set a near-term target of 10,000 tonnes per month by autumn 2026, representing approximately 2,500 ounces monthly and the threshold for strong free cash flow generation. Phase 1 of the production plan targets 30,000 ounces per year by late 2026 or early 2027. The ultimate vision is 800 tonnes per day and 50,000 ounces per year — achievable without any major new capital expenditure, given the mill is already sized for that output. To unlock that capacity, Abcourt is building an on-site sleep camp to resolve a longstanding workforce retention problem caused by long commutes in northern Quebec winters. Phase 2 of the camp (36 rooms) arrives by end of March 2026 and Phase 3 (37 rooms) is due by June 2026. Alongside this, a formal training programme with Val-d'Or's mining school is bringing new miners into the operation on a weekly basis. These are not peripheral initiatives — they are the direct operational enablers of the throughput ramp. The financial structure is also worth noting. Glencore refinanced Abcourt's start-up debt from 16% to 7%, providing a $30 million facility with interest-only payments in year one and principal repayments beginning February 2027. Glencore also holds the offtake on gold and silver production and a right of first participation in future financings. For a junior producer, this level of institutional backing is unusual and meaningful.Management credibility is underscored by insider ownership of approximately 37% — built through years of equity participation alongside external shareholders, not through compensation schemes. Officers and directors have genuine skin in the game.Beyond Sleeping Giant, the company holds 14 additional projects including a zinc-silver polymetallic asset at Abcourt-Barvue, a 5 g/t gold resource at Discovery, and multiple tailings assets being assessed for critical mineral content. These are not currently priced into the market's valuation of the company. For investors evaluating junior gold producers, Abcourt offers a rare combination: proven profitability, a clear and executable growth pathway, institutional validation, and a portfolio of assets that provide upside optionality without requiring additional capital deployment in the near term.View Abcourt Mines' company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/abcourt-mines-incSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

Vikings QB Options and the Jonathan Allen Fallout: Cash vs Cap and Rebuilding the DT Room — Tyler Forness and Luke Braun return with an “Xs and Skulls” breakdown focused on the Vikings' quarterback outlook while sharply criticizing the team's handling of Jonathan Allen. They argue Allen was a good player who didn't match his $17M AAV expectations, and that cutting him is driven more by ownership cash savings than cap efficiency, creating a major defensive tackle need and potentially forcing expensive replacements or a first-round DT pick. This is a really important topic, especially if you've ever been a skeptic. We've all experienced skepticism, but skepticism around getting results can quietly hold you back. Often, skepticism comes from past experiences — you tried something, it didn't work, you felt burned, or you followed what a "guru" said and didn't get the outcome you expected. Your energy wasn't aligned, you're thinking wasn't fully supportive, and your expectations were already leaning toward disappointment. That mindset can create the belief that nothing will work. But the people who move beyond skepticism — the ones who recognize that opportunities show up for a reason — are often the ones who get results faster. They allow themselves to trust the timing and their intuition instead of staying stuck in doubt. I remember speaking at an event where, after my talk, a group of people gathered around to ask questions. One woman stood out. She held onto my sleeve and insisted she needed to talk with me. Later that day, we connected, and she told me my message resonated deeply and that she felt called to work with me. At the time, she didn't move forward. About a year later, I saw her again at a hotel before another speaking engagement. She approached me quietly and asked if I remembered her. I did. She admitted she had gone into what she called "skeptic head" — searching for cheaper alternatives and second-guessing her instinct. She even said she felt frustrated, not with me, but with herself for not listening to that inner knowing. I explained that I don't push people. If something is right for you, you'll choose it. Skepticism is a personal decision, and so is moving past it. We ended up having breakfast together, and she eventually became a client. She had been spending significant time and money elsewhere without results, but after we worked together, she built the business she truly wanted. She was a respected scientist who wanted to move into energetics. Together, we helped her create programs, package her expertise, stay consistent with marketing, and align her message with her authentic voice. She became a real example of what happens when you move beyond skepticism and trust your path. Skepticism isn't wrong — it exists to protect you. But there's another side beyond it, where growth, trust, and results live. Limited to the first 20 listeners: https://miningstockmonkey.com/products/vip?promo=JESSE25Jordan Rusche has a simple but powerful strategy when it comes to the mining sector: buy stocks that are cheap and sell them when they get expensive. Although this sounds easy, the world of junior mining is fraught with risk, and failure is the rule rather than the exception. To address this, Jordan brings not only a thorough breakdown of his approach to speculating on miners, but a list of the stocks he sees the most potential upside in ahead.Disclaimer: Disclaimer: Commodity Culture was compensated by Mining Stock Monkey for producing this interview. Nick and Jonathan debate whether they would rather see the Browns play it safe with an offensive tackle or go for the higher upside wide receiver.
In healthcare B2B sales, the deal is often shaped before ROI is fully debated. It begins when a buyer asks a simpler question: what could go wrong?Healthcare sales is methodical, slow, and process heavy. Health systems are not optimized for novelty or speed alone. They are optimized to avoid harm while maintaining continuity of care. Safety may not sound exciting, but for anyone selling into a hospital or large health system, it is often where deals gain or lose momentum.Buyers are not primarily asking how much upside a solution creates. They are asking how much risk it introduces. That does not mean upside is irrelevant. It means upside is filtered through a risk lens.
Shedeur Sanders started the last seven games for the Browns in the 2025 season. While the overall numbers did not look promising, Daryl says Shedeur did show flashes and potential to be a franchise QB. He and Lima entertain the idea of rolling with the 2nd-year QB again in 2026.
We live in an age where uncertainty lurks around every corner, but what if uncertainty didn't have to be an anxiety-inducing, uncomfortable part of life? The Upside of Uncertainty: A Guide to Finding Possibility in the Unknown, by INSEAD professor Nathan Furr and entrepreneur Susannah Harmon Furr, presents strategies and tools to embrace uncertainty and turn it into opportunity. Nathan, Susannah, and Greg discuss why humans are naturally wired to avoid the unknown, and how our capacity to face it can be strengthened through learnable tools. The conversation covers some of the strategies described in the book like creating “islands of certainty” through rituals and support systems, maintaining a portfolio of personal options instead of going all-in too early, and focusing on what's within one's control while pursuing other meaningful goals, internally. *unSILOed Podcast is produced by University FM.* Episode Quotes: The golden space of uncertainty 26:59: [Nathan Furr] The American can-do attitude is it was this kind of illusion that we control the world. And most people who have been through something hard recognize it is not totally in our control. We sure we influence it, we nudge it, but a lot of things are outside our control. And so the people who are able to approach uncertainty with greater calm also kind of said, you know, what is in my control? I will focus on that, and what is outside of my control, or partially outside of my control, I am not going to obsess about that. And so there is this kind of golden space where you are focused on what are my internal goals, being the best, doing my best, making a contribution in the world. And I recognize that, there is some element of, in this complex, ambiguous world that I do not control, and so I am just going to focus on the things I can control and let the other pieces go. That leads to a much calmer view of the world. The video and audio are not synched On being comfortable with uncertainty 11:42: [Susannah Furr]: All of us could have cooler and more brilliant lives if we just tried a little bit more, if we got a little bit more comfortable with uncertainty. It is good to know, like, Ooh, I do not like risks. And we have a tool for that. Like, know what risks you have affinities and aversions for, but definitely do not just decide, Nope, I do not do uncertainty, because you are, you are missing out. The real danger isn't risk 18:29: [Nathan Furr] The real danger is not that you are going to go all in on the uncertain thing, it is that you are probably going all in on the certain thing, and you are not bringing that thing you care about, that thing you dream about, into the portfolio of options in your life. Interview with William Sheriff, Executive Chairman of encore Energy Corp. Our previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/encore-energy-tsxveu-isr-leader-secures-115m-funding-and-tripling-production-rates-7869Recording date: 1st March 2026enCore Energy (TSXV: EU) is one of a small number of operating in-situ recovery uranium producers in the United States. That alone puts it in a select category at a time when domestic uranium supply has become a policy priority for the US federal government. But the company's investment case currently rests on three distinct elements — and investors would benefit from understanding each one separately before assessing them together. The first is the existing production business. enCore operates ISR uranium mines in Texas and Wyoming. These are producing assets generating revenue, which distinguishes enCore from the large majority of uranium-focused companies listed on North American exchanges. ISR is a low-footprint, relatively low-cost extraction method with an established regulatory track record in the US. For investors seeking uranium exposure with operational substance behind it, enCore's production base provides that foundation. The second element is Verdera Energy and the spinoff. Verdera holds approximately 80 million pounds of uranium resources across four deposits in New Mexico's Grants Mineral Belt — a region that accounts for more than half of the seventh-largest uranium district in the world. All mineral rights are private, which simplifies the permitting process relative to federal land. The assets are underworked: resource estimates are historic rather than NI 43-101 compliant, and the geological models were built using grade cutoffs of 0.06% — substantially higher than the 0.25–0.30% cutoffs applied under current industry practice. Remodelling under modern parameters is likely to expand the stated resource base. Verdera completed a $20 million capital raise to fund this work. The mechanism for investor participation requires no action. Once Verdera files its US registration statement, enCore shareholders will receive Verdera shares on record date. Investors who hold enCore today are effectively acquiring an option on the New Mexico resource package at no additional cost. The third element is the consolidation thesis. William Sheriff, who built enCore from exploration stage to producer, has been direct about what the US ISR sector needs: scale. Individual producers generating one million pounds per year cannot access the institutional capital required to trade at premium valuations. His argument is structural — larger producers carry better credit ratings, negotiate more favourable off-take terms with utilities, and qualify for investment by major funds that have minimum market capitalisation thresholds. Sheriff has indicated that unsolicited tender offers, rather than negotiated mergers, may be the mechanism through which consolidation is pursued. His M&A advisory role at enCore means this work continues under the same corporate umbrella.Taken together, the investment case for enCore is built on assets that are operating today, a resource package being unlocked at no cost to current shareholders, and a strategic agenda that could materially increase the company's scale and institutional profile over the next several years. The near-term catalysts to monitor are the Verdera registration statement filing, quarterly production updates from the Texas and Wyoming operations, and any M&A announcements involving the broader US ISR sector.View enCore Energy's company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/encore-energySign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

#980 | Ed and Jamie review Manchester United's fiscal 2026 second-quarter results, arguing the numbers look bullish despite no European competition: revenues held up, EBITDA is strong, and the club posted an operating profit of just over £30m. They credit Ineos' restructuring - about £50m a year removed from the cost base, including redundancies and efforts to rationalise player wages - with improving the club's financial foundations, while noting debt remains high, cash is low (~£44m), and historic transfer payables are absorbing cashflow. They discuss how Champions League qualification could add ~£80–100m revenue and how Premier League squad-cost rules may help. They flag major debt maturities in 2027 and 2029 and expect refinancing to increase interest costs, plus brief updates on stadium plans, shareholding movement, and optimism driven by improved results and recruitment. 00:00 Introduction 04:12 Cost Restructuring & Wage Bill 13:48 Revenue Breakdown 17:53 Champions League Impact & Future Outlook 20:17 Debt Refinancing Discussion 26:36 Stadium Development & Wrap-up If you are interested in supporting the show and accessing a weekly exclusive bonus episode, check out our Patreon page or subscribe on Apple Podcasts. Brad and Dan speak at the Combine The Detroit Lions hit the NFL Scouting Combine on Tuesday with clarity at a critical spot. Minutes after Dan Campbell wrapped his podium, Taylor Decker posted that he is coming back. The timing sharpened the conversation that both Campbell and Brad Holmes started in Indianapolis. Plan as if Decker might not be there. Welcome him if he is. Now he is. That stabilizes left tackle. The Lions still want a real plan B at tackle. Even with Decker back for 2026, they need depth and a future answer. The return eases the pressure to chase a plug-and-play starter immediately. It also widens the draft choices. Detroit can shop for value instead of forcing the board. Ready-Now vs. Upside at Tackle, and the Ripple at Edge With Decker in place, the Lions can consider a developmental tackle at 17 or 50. That shifts the calculus between floor and ceiling. Spencer Fano and Francis Mauigoa are widely viewed as the most NFL-ready. They might not reach Detroit. The alternative is betting on growth. Caleb Lomu fits the long-range model. Monroe Freeling does too. There is even patience baked in for an injured stash like Isaiah Wood on Day 3. Freed from a must-start tackle search, Detroit can let the best player win the room. The vibe in Indianapolis points to edge and offensive line as the early pillars. Safety lingers as a swing factor. The first two rounds still look like edge and offensive line, with safety in the mix if the board breaks right. Safety Health Clouds the Secondary, Card-Ready at 17? Both leaders addressed the safeties' health. The update on Kerby was cautious. More will be known in about a month. The staff is probing his recovery and realistic timeline. It did not sound overly promising. Branch tore his Achilles late in the season. A return before the start seems unlikely, and peak form could take time in 2026. The defense felt that loss. When the NFL's interception leader went down with a knee injury, the secondary buckled and the unit needed weeks to adjust. That context keeps safety very live on Day 1 or 2. If Cam Dow is there at 17, the card goes in. Otherwise, Detroit can let a deep edge class meet a flexible tackle board and take what the NFL gives. One more steadying note from the Combine floor: the defensive coaching staff stays intact. Campbell is energized by that continuity. The Detroit Lions Podcast will have more as medicals and workouts reshape this board in real time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OzHbLEbLDg #detroitlions #lions #detroitlionspodcast #taylordecker #bradholmes #dancampbell #nflscoutingcombine #lucasoilfield #offensivetackle #edgerusher #spencerfano #francismanu #caleblomu #monroefraley #isaiahwood #kirby #branchachilles #pick17 Learn more about your ad choices. 3 Must-Add Week 17 Volume Plays with ROS Upside! (Points Leagues) In this episode of On Fire Fantasy, Jacob Dunne breaks down Week 17 fantasy basketball streamers — players rostered in under 30% of Yahoo leagues who have three games remaining and real opportunity in points leagues. Week 17 has been stretched across the All-Star break, and this extended scoring period is where fantasy basketball matchups flip. Volume matters more than upside. Production beats potential. Jamie Thiel and Jeni Burke join Ash and Amanda to share how they transitioned from residential real estate and limited partner investing into larger commercial opportunities, leveraging their complementary strengths to build a growing portfolio together. In this week's Stansberry Investor Hour, Dan and John Engel welcome Dave Lashmet to the show. Dave is the editor of Stansberry Venture Technology, an advisory that takes a "venture capitalist" look at the market. Dave scours the market looking for little-known small-cap companies that are potentially producing the next wonder drug or technology. Dave kicks things off by discussing the first of three biopharmaceutical companies he's sharing that have monopolies in weight-loss drugs. He starts by showing how drugs gain their monopolies via patents, giving them "economic exclusivity." While companies might be targeting the same patients, the patents influence how they're being treated. The first company gains an edge by not only targeting folks suffering from obesity, but also by treating those with Type 2 diabetes. Dave also explains the contrast in mentality between the U.S. and other countries regarding obesity being preventable. And he provides info showing how obesity is a "slippery slope" and shares that a study found that participants who got off the drug gained back the weight they lost before. (0:00) Next, Dave sums up how the first company has cleared all of the risks and expenses from clinical trials, while a close competitor still has to get past its trials due to unknown side effects. When asked about why folks would stay on a weight-loss pill for life, Dave points to how our culture has drastically changed over the years, from actively working on farms to passively working in cubicles. These drugs help balance out the resulting shift. Dave then transitions into the next company that has a drug that focuses on fatty liver disease. He explains how this distinction helps the company gain its monopoly due to how irreplaceable livers are. And similar to the first company, this drug will have lifelong consumers. And the good news for investors is that its only competitor causes weight gain. (21:49) Finally, Dave presents the final company that tackles weight loss by focusing on genetics. Unlike the first two companies, this one treats patients with an injectable drug rather than a pill. However, it zeroes in on our natural "hunger switch," suppressing the users' appetites. Right now, the company is only waiting to get past trials, which puts it at a disadvantage compared with the other two. But Dave still believes that because of how it works, it's still set to stand beside the two pills. (39:44)
