Kelly McGonigal has taken a message I learned in 1984 and looked at complex science of it, and simplified it again down to Joy of Movement… and she's done it by storytelling. his week a retired senior FBI agent Charles McGonigal was arrested on charges of money laundering and violating US sanctions. Also this week, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) issued an alert on Potential U.S. Commercial Real Estate Investments by Sanctioned Russian Elites, Oligarchs, and Their Proxies. John and Elliot discuss the arrest and its implications for national security and look at the details of the alert including the typologies and red flags included in it. One of the FBI special agents that spent years investigating alleged Trump-Russia collusion was himself just indicted for Russian collusion. The FBI agent's name is Charles McGonigal, and the charges against him include, among many other things, laundering money for and doing the bidding of a sanctioned Russian billionaire named Oleg Deripaska. Parents in the Tomahawk School District are demanding answers after a bus driver allegedly locked students in a bus and refused to bring them home, prompting a police response. Charles McGonigal, who was the special agent in charge of counterintelligence in the FBI's New York Field Office, is under arrest over his ties to Oleg Deripaska, a Russian billionaire who has been sanctioned by the United States and criminally charged last year with violating those sanctions.  McGonigal retired from the FBI in 2018.
