Never in NBA history has an offense been spearheaded by TWO jumbo playmakers -- until now. Luka Doncic and LeBron James could unlock creative, brilliant offensive options for Head Coach JJ Redick, according to Laker Film Room's own Pete Zayas. KOC and Pete break down the potential upside for the Lakers, the downside (hint: DEFENSE) and why prioritizing another trade for a BIG MAN is utterly imperative if the Lakers want to compete for a title this year. Don't look now, but Kevin Durant could be on the move. KOC is also joined by Bleacher Report's Mo Dakhil discuss the potential destinations they see as a fit for KD, along with what they're both hearing from their sources ahead of the deadline. And the big winner (so far) of this year's Trade Deadline? NOT the Los Angeles Lakers -- but the San Antonio Spurs (!) according to Kevin O'Connor. Why the De'Aaron Fox trade will have Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs contending as soon as this year, because Kevin thinks San Antonio isn't done wheeling just yet. What is your story you've been telling yourself over the past week or two…. 90% of success is just showing up…start by acknowledging you showed up…recognize and appreciate.  We all have these types of days, but it's how you respond to these days that will truly define you as a person and determine the success and happiness you have in your life. Today I want to talk about what you can do to really get out of these “traps” that we get stuck in…the cycles, the “trapped inside my head”, the “I don't feel like doing what it takes” kinda days. Remember Prosperity Pillar #3…I act in spite of my mood…there is a reason that this pillar exists. The "Big Domino" and Lowering Pressure and Noise

The Marketing Secrets Show

A new way to look at the “big domino” and how it'll help you function as an entrepreneur. Hit me up on IG! @russellbrunson Text Me! 208-231-3797 Join my newsletter at marketingsecrets.com ClubHouseWithRussell.com ---Transcript--- What's up everybody, good morning. This is Russell Brunson. Welcome back to the Marketing Secrets Podcast. Today, I want to talk about something that I know all of us entrepreneurs deal with a lot, which is pressure and noise. If you listen to Alex Charfen, if you studied him, the entrepreneur personality type, he talks a lot about how entrepreneurs, when you are able to lower pressure and noise, you can do greatness. You can change the world, but when the pressure and noise gets higher, it gets really difficult. And oftentimes it turns into chaos and into bad things. And so I talk about that during this episode, because I'm in definitely a state of increased pressure noise and I want to talk about what I'm doing to deal with it and how it's helping. So with that said, I'm going to cue up the theme song. When we come back, we're going to dive deep. All right. So sure, like most of you and every... Okay, what step you are in your entrepreneurial journey? If you are beginning, if you are growing, if you are scaling, if you are selling, if you are buying, if you were like, whatever you're doing, there are times when you have increased pressure and noise. And Alex Charfen's one of my friends, I love his stuff. He was one of our head coaches for two comma club, X coaching program for a while. And he has a whole message, he talks about entrepreneurial personality types, EPT as he calls it, people like us. and he always says, "You're not broken, you're not weird, you're just different. You're and entrepreneur and that's okay." And in his teachings, he talks a lot about just how entrepreneurs, a lot of times we think we're crazy. And like a lot of times entrepreneurs are the ones who snap and go crazy and go off the deep end and other times they're the ones who are creating the most amazing things in the world. And he talks about there's this fine line between greatness and chaos, right? And for entrepreneurs, the biggest thing you do is you have to if you can decrease the pressure noise around you, then you can succeed. But when the pressure noise goes up, that's where you typically, they crash and burn. If you think about if you've had a chance to crash and burn a business or two, you probably know it was during a season or a time of increased pressure noise, and it's hard to handle it. And that's when things happened, right? That's why it's so important to build a team and to have people around you and things help support you to decrease the pressure noise so you can succeed. So there's a little mini chunk out of Charfen's training so you guys understand kind of the context I'm talking about. But in my life over the last 30 days, has been an insane, increase in pressure noise. I can't talk about all the things, but people I love who I work with daily, or who have had health issues that I was not expecting, there's that. And then we just finished our first acquisition and we were in the middle of our second acquisition, so new companies coming in. We also have Funnel Hacking Live in 30 days. We also have a new coaching program that we are changing. We also have, I can't tell you all the things, there's a lot of stuff and it's exciting. And it's partially, it's the most exciting time of the business, right? I just have so many fun things and so many things I'm excited for it. But then on the other side, man, between all these things, I was not planning over the last 30 days the pressure and noise and things have gone up dramatically. And I don't know about you guys, but it's made it for me it's hard to sleep at night. I lay there in bed I'm so tired but I can't sleep because there's just these things happening and all the stuff and the stress and all the balls you're juggling, you don't want to drop them, right? And I'm curious, have you guys ever felt that before? And for me, the last month it's been hard to sleep. And then I come into the office and there's so many things to do that half of them I don't know where to start and there's this and there's this and there's this and all of them are on fire. And it's overwhelming sometimes. And so it's interesting because by default I want to get things done so I go and I start working, I'm trying to get task after task. But it seems like an insurmountable thing. And so earlier this week, I had a thought, and you guys have heard me talk about the big domino before, right? In every sales presentation, it's one big domino. If you can knock down that one domino, it takes care of everything else and all the other dominoes fall down. And it's true in selling, but it's true in a lot of aspects of life, right? And I started looking at all my big, huge tasks and all the things. Each to do had like 500 little sub to do's. Instead of looking at all the sub to do's, I started looking at the bigger tasks with bigger project and saying, "Okay, what's the one big domino I can do that's going to knock down all these little tasks?" There's no way I can do all of them, it's virtually impossible. What is the big domino or who is the big domino? Who is the person that's going to come that could take this off of my plate? What's been interesting is to be able to look at this differently, I've had to completely slow down, which has been hard for me because I'm like, "I'm not going to make it to the finish line if I stop." But at the same time, I'm not going to make the finish line no matter what. So, it's forced me to stop and say, "I got to find the person or the thing or whatever that's going to knock this thing down." It's made me sit there in my thoughts for a lot longer, which has been good. And I've often thought of how do I get done with the task? The thought is like, "Who is the person I can find it or what's the process or thing I need to do that gets rid of all the other tasks so I can actually make it to the finish line?" And as I've been doing that, it's been interesting because sometimes you ask better questions, you get better answers. And so that's the question I started asking. And all of a sudden the answer started coming clear and it was like, "Okay, well if I had a person for here, this would make all these things disappear." I'm like, "Well, who's the person for that? I don't know somebody." And it's like, "Okay, let's think." And sitting in your thoughts and thinking and thinking and praying and thinking and trying to figure things out. And all of a sudden it's like, "Oh, what about this person? Or how about this? Or how about this?" Or literally one of the things was a text message from a friend who was like, "Hey, there's this person you should meet." And it's like, "Oh my gosh, that person I think is the big domino is can knock down this set of things for me." And it's been interesting because this week I had a whole task list of stuff I had to get done and I had not had a chance to do my tasks yet. But I've had longer meetings, which I hate meetings. Typically, I have slow two to three hour meetings with certain people to build a relationship, to be able to hand the reins to somebody to then go and knock down the domino for me. And I can tell you Friday was the first time this happened. I remember leaving Friday and it was the first night I was just not stressed. When I left, I was like, "Oh my gosh, this might be possible." And today I did it again and it's like, "Okay, this might actually be possible." And it wasn't for me speeding up or spending more hours or doing more things. It was me stopping, stepping back and trying to figure out the big domino. So for you guys, as you are entrepreneurs and you have increased pressure noise, and you're stressing about all the things, I want to encourage you to slow down, or maybe even stop for a moment and look at those tasks differently. Not from "How in the world am I going to get get this done, where am I going to find the extra time?" But, "Who is the big domino or what is the big domino that if I can figure that out, it makes all these other ones irrelevant." And that's been the thing for me that's keeping me sane. It's getting me excited and helping me to now finally starting to see the finish line again. Like, "Oh my gosh, it's there, I can see it, it's possible, you're saying there's a chance I could actually make it to the end." And so, as I'm getting through that and again, I spent two and a half hours meeting somebody today and I'm like, "Oh my gosh, I feel better. I'm going to probably sleep tonight a little bit. I'm pumped about that." It made me think I'm going to stop for a second and just do a quick podcast for my people, because I'm sure some of you guys are in that same season. If you're not now, you will be soon. And so just remembering the big domino concept in a way that you can solve these kind of problems for yourself. So I hope that helps, I hope that was useful. I'm grateful for all you guys for listening, for subscribing, for paying attention. I'm trying to serve you at my highest level and sometimes it's overwhelming, but I feel like we're doing good work. And I feel like the fruits of this stuff that we're creating for you guys right now is going to change a lot of lives, hopefully your life. So keep your eyes out. Everything from Funnel Hacking Live until January of 20, whatever next year is, 2022, it's going to be a crazy ride. You'll see a lot of stuff happened and it's going to be, fun. So I'm pumped. I'm pumped to show you what we've been working on. That's all I got. There's the tease. All right, appreciate you all each for listening and we'll talk to you all soon. Bye, everybody.

How to shortcut 10 years of growth into one year. On this episode Russell discusses how he has been strategically planning the big domino move to propel Clickfunnels forward 10 years. Here are some of the awesome things you’ll hear in today’s episode: Find out who Russell learned the big domino technique from and how it differs from his own technique. Why Russell had to look at the question from a new perspective to be able to find the answer he was looking for. And see why you too should look at your business from a different lens in order to be able to find the answers you’re seeking. So listen here to find out how strategically planning for a big domino effect, Russell plans to propel his business forward in growth. ---Transcript--- Hey, what’s up everybody? This is Russell Brunson and this is the last podcast of this decade. It’s New Year’s night, New Year’s eve and in a few hours it’s going to be next year, and next decade. So with that said I want to give you one thought to think about as you’re building your company over the next 12 months. Hey everyone, so we are packing up right now, taking the kids downtown for New Year’s here in Boise, they have a potato drop. Literally they have this huge potato and they have a tractor come out and they hook the tractor up to this potato, and then the potato drops. Just like in New York City you get the ball drop, we get a potato drop. So we’ve never seen it, so we’re going to downtown Boise to experience the potato drop, we’re pretty pumped about that in a really weird way. That’s going to be really fun, and then we’ll see if the kids make it to Midnight or not. So that’s kind of what’s happening tonight. It’s interesting when I was thinking about what to share kind of for the last podcast, I thought it would be fun to do the top ten things I learned this decade, or this last year, or whatever. I may still do something like that. But as we’re packing up the house now and I’m getting ready to leave, one thing keeps going through my mind, it’s actually simpler, it’s not a whole bunch of things. It’s one thing for you guys to think about, so I wanted to share that, and hopefully it’ll help somebody right now, in whatever you’re looking at. So it kind of stems back to probably 7 or 8 years ago. I was in New York at Joe Polishes Genius Network event, and Tim Ferris was there, and I’d never seen Tim Ferris speak before, and I was kind of excited. And he was onstage talking and he did some Q&A and stuff, and I remember at the end someone asked him some question like, ‘What’s the question we should ask you Tim, that we haven’t asked you?” or something like that. And he kind of thought for a second and he said, ”You know, what’s interesting, I get reporters all the time who want to follow me around all day and get a day in the life of Tim Ferris.” And he’s like, “I always tell them no because if people actually saw my life, they’d be really bored. I wake up in the morning and I drink some coffee or some tea, and then I sit and read a book, and then I think.” You know all these things. And he’s like, “I’ll sit there sometimes for days or weeks, or sometimes even months just trying to identify what are all of the dominoes out there, and then what’s the big domino that if I knock down that domino, it’ll knock down all the other dominoes or make them obsolete.” And he’s like, “Because of that, I don’t do a lot of stuff, but when I do something I execute on it perfectly and it’s this huge thing.” Anyway, after he said that I thought a lot about that. And I think for the most part I’m not really that way. I’m more like, I’m moving forward all the time. You guys see it. I’m moving forward, idea after idea, after idea, and I’ve been executing on this funnel, and this funnel, and this idea, and this book, and this thing. And we’re moving fast, and I think that’s good, especially when you’re getting started I think it’s good to be trying and testing a lot of things until you kind of identify what your thing is and you really figure it out. But something that has been interesting over the last couple of months as I’ve been writing these books and doing these things, the one thought that keeps coming back is like, you know, I’ve been doing a lot of things that incrementally are helping to grow the company. But I was like, “Is there a thing, is there a big thing that if we were to do it or execute on it or knock this domino down that would short cut us 5 years or 10 years or more and get us there faster?” And it’s funny because when I thought, you know when I was thinking about that, there was not a funnel that I could launch, like “this is the funnel that will 10x Clickfunnels. This is the funnel that will speed up the time. This is the book I need to write.” You know, it wasn’t ever anything like that. So at first I was like, “I guess there’s not. There’s nothing I could do that will shave off 10 years of our success and get us 10 years further down the line faster.” So for a while we thought that was impossible because we were looking through the lens that we normally look through. And so because of that, we weren’t able to see the answer to that. But then we started looking at it through other lenses and different’ people’s perspectives, people that are smarter than me, people that have done things in different industries, and looking at that. And because we started looking, all the sudden it became apparent that there are a couple of paths that would literally take off a decade of growth for Clickfunnels. We could get where it would take us 10 years going the direction and path that we’re on now, we could get there within the year from now. And at first we were like, “That can’t be possible. That doesn’t make any sense.” But because we started asking that question, looking through different lenses outside of just our own perspective it started opening up all these opportunities and ideas and this whole new world of things that are possible. So I’m not able yet to tell you what the answer was for me, and that shouldn’t matter, because the answer for you is probably going to be different. But you will see it play out over the next 12 months of my life, and the life of Clickfunnels, and you’ll be like, “Oh my gosh, that was the move Russell chose. That’s interesting. That is how he’s shortcutting a decade and getting it done in a year.” So you’ll see the strategic moves that we’re making, and they’re exciting and they’re fun, and they’re awesome. And I’m sure I will talk about it as the pieces come out and I’m able to share more. But more so I wanted you guys to start thinking about that. My guess is when you start thinking, “What can I do right now that’s going to propel my business forward a decade in the next year? You’re probably not going to see it right away. And it’s going to be hard for you, because given the tools you already have, the answer is not there. Just like for me, given the tools of like, “What’s the next funnel? What’s the next book? What’s the next thing?” the answer wasn’t there. It was me keeping, continuing to ask that question and open my eyes and getting to know other people who have a different frame of reference and different lens that opened up these possibilities to me and to us as a team at Clickfunnels. So anyway, I want to encourage you guys to start asking that question, and then start looking for the answer, because it’s there somewhere. It’s not within your immediate ability to execute on it, but it’s there somewhere, you just gotta start looking for it. And if you search for it, my guess is you’re going to find it. So anyway, that’s the thing. What’s the big domino, what’s the big domino for you guys this year, that’s going to propel you forward a decade. Think about that. And then watch as we start executing on ours. I’m excited. I’m so grateful for all you guys and the fact that you listen to this podcast, the fact that you use our software, the fact that you read my books, the fact that you care means the world to me. And I’m just grateful for you guys during this New Year season. And I appreciate you and I cannot wait for the upcoming year for you guys to see what we’re doing and why we’re doing it. It’s going to be fun. So thanks for being along for the ride. Appreciate you all, have an amazing new year, and I will talk to you guys all next decade. Bye everybody.

After going off about paying attention yesterday, I wanted to revisit this idea from Russell Brunson's book of the "Big Domino." Basically, this a concept where you try to find the biggest problem you are facing, or the root of all of your problems, and chop that off. In turn, you will be eliminating a bunch of smaller problems by just solving one "big" one. It's like a big domino toppling over onto a bunch of smaller dominoes. It'd be wise for you to listen to Episode 197 before this one if you have not done so already. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy, and be sure to give me your feedback! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dotcom Secrets by Russell Brunson: https://bit.ly/2Waw5KQ Expert Secrets by Russell Brunson: https://bit.ly/2QdmP3b -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOUTUBE: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_moctBGU-tfwSANYXl9OCg

If you’re not marketing your business, then you don’t have a business.   ...Or, you won’t have one for in the long run.   Whether you have a real estate business, an Amazon business, or a lemonade stand - consistent marketing is the lifeblood of your company.   As real estate entrepreneurs, consistent marketing is what ensures we have a steady stream of prospective customers finding our services, and the properties we have for sell.   When you neglect marketing it’s inevitable that you’ll suffer from an inconsistent deal flow. And you’ll feel like you’re working from deal to deal - which makes you uncertain about your income and the stability of your business.   I did a previous show on how important it is to focus on one thing (or your big domino in your business), which if you topple it, everything else becomes easier. So in this post I interviewed Danny Johnson, the host of Flipping Junkie. Danny shared his insights and tips on how your real estate business can be more successful, and you can sell more homes, by making marketing your Big Domino.   Topics: 02:17 Danny's background and his business 04:10 How marketing has really made an impact on his business 08:36 What digital marketing really is 10:47 How much does he focus on digital marketing vs offline marketing 11:49 Tips on how to make time to ensure your marketing gets done 16:43 Systems and processes that he has in place that have had the biggest impact on his productivity and marketing efforts 18:08 His advice to a new real estate investor for the path of least resistance to get their marketing up and going to generate leads 21:00 Advantages of bandit signs 22:17 What are the trends in digital marketing for real estate right   Quote: If you’re not marketing your business, then you don’t have a business ... or, you won't have one in the long run.     Resources: Ryan S. Cool Stuff We Learned During Our "7 Day Launch"

Here is a recap of a 7 day internal launch that made over a million dollars and what we learned along the way. On today's episode Russell gives the details of the 7 day launch strategy and what worked and what didn't. Here are some insightful things you will here on this episode: A step by step guide to what Russell did for each of the 7 days in the launch. What mistakes were made and how Russell and his team were able to make tweaks on the fly to make it better. And what Russell learned from the experience and how it can help others with their own businesses. So listen below to get a cool step by step guide into the 7 day launch. ---Transcript--- What’s up everybody, this is Russell Brunson. Welcome to Marketing Secrets podcast. Today we’re going to be talking about the 7 day launch. Hey everyone, this is Russell and welcome back to Marketing Secrets podcast. So today I’m going to be talking to you guys about this launch right here and the reason why, is my inner circle members keep asking me, “Hey Russell, can you please show us what happened behind the scenes of the 7 day launch?” They want the stats, numbers and details. So I thought I’m going to kill two birds with one stone. Because I wanted to talk about this on the podcast anyway. So this is for the inner circle members and for those of you who listen to the podcast, I hope you love it. I’m not going to go deep into the numbers, I will just tell you that this launch in 7 days did over a million dollars in coaching sales, which is exciting, so it worked. I initially learned about this concept from one of my friends, Brendon Burchard. If you watch Funnel Hacker TV, the behind the scenes show, you will see some of the behind the scenes of us kind of going through this. He was in Las Vegas and I flew out there and there’s a whole episode on funnelhacker.tv where you’ll see me flying to Vegas, hanging out with Brendon and getting ideas on how he did this. So I’m not going to go too deep into all the strategies, just because I know he is launching a course later on this year. I’m going to buy it, you should all buy it, we should all buy it, it’s going to be amazing. Going deep into the deep in the details and giving the swipe files and stuff like that, but if you were watching you probably saw it, first off. Second off, you probably got the swipe files just by getting my emails and stuff. So you’ve got some feedback, if you’ve been funnel hacking and watching, you’ve had a chance to see it. Basically the way it worked is we did the book launch for the first 30 days, which built up a lot of pressure and excitement and we made a lot of book sales and upsells and everything else. At the end of it I wanted to do something cool. I wanted to figure out how, those who wanted to go deeper, how do I offer a coaching program that’s not me being, I didn’t want to feel like I was selling again because it’s just…..You know how it is, after a while people don’t want to keep being sold. I’d say it’s not like I wanted to sell a coaching program, to help people want to go to the next level with it, which is exciting. But then second off, I wanted to give and serve. So when Brendon gave me this idea I loved it. So basically how 7 day launch works is, and those who saw it, basically what happened is Monday I started promoting it, Tuesday I did this long training. So if you’re watching the video you can see day 1 I basically did an episode from 11 until noon-ish, I can’t remember exactly how it all went. And module one was you becoming an expert. What’s interesting is the book promo is all about Expert Secrets, but there was stuff like as soon as you read the book there’s this weird finality where it’s written and done and you can’t edit it or touch it again. And there were things as we’re selling it that I was like, “Oh…” during my interviews all these things kept coming up. There was stuff I wished I could share and there was pieces I wanted to just do. So what’s cool, is giving the ability, because I don’t have to re-teach the book, because people have the book, but here’s a master class of what’s next. If you read the book and you’re like, “What’s the next piece? What is it?” So this one here I went really deep with you becoming an expert and finding your voice and it was just training and it was awesome. So what we did is we emailed, so on Expertsecretsmasterclass.com, by the time there was a video, they embedded the live video from YouTube, people could watch and promote that through email. But then we also setup Facebook Live, I think there’s just those two platforms. So when we started this and clicked record, I came on and said, “Hey guys, we’re recording a course, it’s going to be awesome. I’m going to jump up here and start recording, be back in a minute.” Then we clicked go and it was like life. So I taught this entire thing, training. It was awesome. Then during the breaks we had testimonial videos streaming of our coaching program of the FHAT event, The Funnel Hack A Thon event so people could keep seeing success stories. I took a break so I could go to the bathroom and reset. We came back and taught number two, which is creating an irresistible offer. And that was it for day. I think I was up there for 3 hours, it was awesome. When all was said and done, I think we  had 20 or 30 thousand people watch it between YouTube and Facebook. Gave tons of good will and it was really, really cool. A lot of people who, they’ve been stuck on these two pieces, I had a chance to go deeper on that and give them everything. So that was day number one. And then this is where it replayed for 24 hours and then it disappeared. People had the chance to watch it for 24 hours, and some did, and then it disappeared. Then day two started. Day two I wanted to do the big domino, it went really deep to help people understand that. Then we had a break again, and then what I did at the latest session, actually did a webinar. Now, it’s a little different from Brendon, when he did his, basically at the end of day two is when he pushed people to a video sales letter, which sold a product. Me, I just did a webinar. One of the big things that was kind of interesting. When we created this offer, part of this training is really cool and desirable. A lot of people aren’t going to be able to watch it live, and you pull it down and you stage, because people actually want the content and the training. At the end of this I’m not selling this as a course because it’d be hard to sell because people are like, “I missed part of it, I should have watched it!” and all these kind of things. So instead it’s like, if you join the coaching program you get all this course for free, and notice I didn’t say the recordings of this product. Because recordings seem really cheap. Getting this course, the Expert Secrets Master Class, the perceived value is way higher, it’s the course not the recordings. If you watch the videos back I tried to say that, I think a couple of times I messed up and said recordings. I was trying to get it perfect. So that was here, and then what’s cool is that happened and sales started coming in for the coaching program. Because there was a webinar and they got to watch me do the webinar but then I was actually selling the coaching program on the webinar. Now what’s happening, as soon as it was done, it’s funny because it’s the first time I’d ever done this webinar. We created it the night before, it was perfect webinar, hacked style. So it was one headline, three secrets, a board with things. I pitched two offers, which is usually a wrong thing to do and it was in this case too. We had 2,000 or 15,000, it was just complicated when you get to the stack. So sales did okay, but I was kind of honestly, when the camera shut off, I was sitting there kind of depressed. Dang, that did not feel right. They didn’t convert right. Some people bought but it wasn’t right. I was just like, dangit. I was frustrated and that night I was kind of stressing out about it and realizing that. So then we made some tweaks and changes. And the cool thing is day three, I came back and broke down the campaign and showed them and went through the webinar again. And what’s cool about the second webinar, or the second training is because I was going through what I did and what worked and what didn’t work. I knew what hadn’t worked the first time. So I had this really cool opportunity to weave in different close, different stack, different things, to close the deal from the day before. I’m going to talk about why this is so key here. Because I think I figured out something amazing. But after that section, sales started coming in like crazy. The second webinar where I broke down what I did here, but then use that, and hopefully you guys watched that, if not you missed it. But I was weaving in all these closes throughout it, it was kind of a cool thing. But I was just breaking down what we were actually doing. Then we had a break and at the end I did a virtual book tour, which is kind of a bonus training of how we got traffic and then that was it. When that one ended, sales were coming in better than the day before. I was able to fix some of the things I had done wrong back here, which was good. But there was something wrong with the, there was something….it still wasn’t quite big so I was sitting there and I was kind of… I don’t know about you guys, but when you nail it I have all this energy afterwards. When I don’t I just feel this lack of energy. When we got done afterwards I was like, it was good but I still felt this lack of energy. I felt this weirdness around this pricing strategy and if you look at pricing it was $2000 to do the online version, or $15000 to do the online plus come to Boise, plus get Fill Your Funnel and a bunch of other really cool things. And it was kind of, there was complexity in it. So we were talking about it, “Maybe we’ll open up a payment plan.” I hate payment plans and all those other sorts of stuff. Then I had this idea and I was like, “Wait a minute, what if instead of a payment plan, what if…” So this is the pricing strategy that turned this campaign from….at the end of day two we probably had $150,000 in sales to two days later we did over a million dollars in sales. What was the difference? This was the piece that was key, it was pricing. So we shifted this, if you guys watched it, I came out and said, “Hey a lot of people are asking for a payment plan, unfortunately we don’t have a payment plan. But I did decide to turn this coaching program into a $300 a month one. So you come here, it’s $297 a month, or you can get lifetime access for $2000 or you can upgrade to the $15000 and com to Boise and get all this other stuff as well. So what’s interesting, I know some of the guys on my team were nervous, “Oh no. If it goes $300 a month, everyone’s going to take that and it’s going to draw whatever…” What’s interesting is that we had people take that, but what it did was become almost like a decoy offer where it made everybody buy the $2000 offer, it’s crazy. Tons of people bought, suddenly $2000 seemed cheap versus $300 a month and it was cool for 2 reasons. One, it got people to buy that. Number two it was cool because it got a whole bunch of people on a $300 a month coaching program as well, which is one of my goals this year. How do I create a $300 a month? To be honest Frank Kern has a $300 a month thing. Ryan STewman has a $300 a month thing. I was like, “I want a $300 a month training program.” So it kind of forced us to do that, but the cool side effect, it created this really cool thing where now $300 a month or lifetime access for $2000. So it was a huge discount there, which pushed everyone to the $2 grand. When we had Neurocell, our supplement, it was kind of similar the way pricing was. We had one bottle, three bottles or four bottles. We had a pricing strategy where basically you had to be a moron to buy one bottle. Where if you had any brains at all you’d buy the four bottles. It was $80 a bottle, or it was $40 a bottle if you get three. It was crazy and it pushed everybody to where we actually wanted them. And by doing this it did that as well. It helped me do two goals. One was to help me build up a $300 a month coaching program, number two it pushed people to what I actually wanted them to do, which was the $2000, which was really cool. Now it’s been fun because people are going through there and the training for those who are going through it, it’s super in depth and intense and crazy and amazing. It’s getting me excited to watch what people are doing. So that was some of the break down. Basically the last 3 days were urgency and scarcity and that’s what pushed it over the million dollar mark. That’s, by the way, a million dollars collected. A lot of people use, can I say this publicly? The company basically went bankrupt, so I can. There’s a thing we in the industry call stomper math. In stomper math, there’s a company called stomper net and they used to do launched and they’d be like, “We did 18 million dollars.” But it was not collected, it was if all the payment plans go through for the next 5 years then they would have made 18 million or something like that. I hate that. Stomper math, this was like a 10 million dollar launch. But in real math, not common core, but real math, we collected a million dollars. So after we rebuild stuff we’ll be higher. Anyway, I thought it was cool. Urgency and scarcity from this point forward, and again, the offer was basically the thing that I wanted to sell wrapped in with the recordings of this, excuse me not the recordings. I said a curse word. You get the Expert Secrets Master Class course for free as well. So that’s kind of it. So those who  were in the Two Comma Club coaching program, all the recordings of this are in the members area. So you can go back and watch them. I highly recommend at least watching these first three. These first three were probably some of the best presentations I’ve ever given, ever. I’m really proud of them and it will help you implement. The first three for those of you who are listening are The You in Expert, Create Your Digital Offer, and The Big Domino. There was something about the training, the way it worked. This training is just, I’m really proud of them, they turned out amazing. Anyway, we probably will be trying to evergreen this funnel in the near future, I’m not sure exactly how to do it yet. But in the future if you go to expertsecretsmasterclass.com, it may be there, the evergreen version where basically you opt in and we have a 24 hour countdown and it disappears after 24 hours. I don’t know, I haven’t figured that part out yet. We may or may not try that in the future. But yeah, that was kind of a breakdown of how the campaign worked and it was a lot of fun. Tons of reciprocity, tons of goodwill, a lot of people weren’t able to buy, they still got tons of stuff from that. And what’s been interesting in my business, as I’ve been watching this, the more I give away, it’s people have success with the free stuff, in fact Dan Henry is one person who said this specifically. A bunch of other people said, I feel like I owe you because I’ve made so much money from all the free stuff. Dan, I remember when he joined the inner circle, he’s like, “I feel like I owe you $25 grand for all you already gave me. So I’m just going to give it to you so I can be in your inner circle, but I feel like I owe it to you anyway.” And that’s what I want to do. I want to give people such good stuff, they can run with it and have success. So much so that in the future they’re like, “Man, I need to buy all Russell’s stuff, because I feel like I owe it to him.” So it’s kind of a good spot to be in. That’s what I’m trying to focus a lot more on. That’s kind of how the whole thing worked, it was really fun and enjoyable. The big key takeaways are number one, just giving and building this huge reciprocity streaming this huge, live streaming to YouTube and to Facebook. I think when all was said and done it was like a quarter of a million people that had seen parts of this training. It might have been more than that. It was amazing. Having an offer, a really good offer with a really good pricing strategy behind it, when Brendon comes out with his course later this year, hopefully he’ll….he’ll probably use this process to launch it. But watch how he structures his offers. I think that’s the key of it. What he does, he’ll do this whole training and be like, “Hey expert academy, my $1000 course, I’ll give you a 50% discount, so you get $500, plus you get this for free.” It’s all about creating an irresistible, amazing offer.  It took us a couple of tries and while this thing was happening, tweaking our offer before it got right. That’s another thing you’ve got to understand is that we’re tweaking offers in the, as they’re happening. In the middle we’ll be like, “Ah, it’s not working. It’s not converting. Change it, tweak it.” If your thing’s not converting, change the offer, don’t like, “Ah it didn’t work.” If you would have seen the behind the scenes, and I think we probably filmed some behind the scenes of that from the behind the scenes Funnel Hacker TV show. But we’re shifting and changing and modifying things on the fly because it’s happening in real time and it’s kind of crazy. Anyway, this was a really cool thing to kind of end the launch with. You know it added an extra million dollars to the bottom line, which was cool. It helped us figure out the pricing strategy for long term when we do evergreen-ness. How to actually sell the coaching, what the right messaging…Forcing myself to do a webinar live, helped me figure out what was wrong with my webinar hook. Then having me do a webinar where I recap the whole thing gave me another deep ability to fix the things and know what to do when I make this thing an auto webinar and sell it as a coaching program in the future. And this is the other thing I learned that was awesome. When you do a webinar, and maybe this only works in my market, I’m not sure. Or like a business market. But doing a webinar and then the next day showing them what you did. The second webinar made us more money than the first. So one cool thing I’m going to start doing is, I think with some of my webinars is if somebody registers be like, “Hey, if you watch to the end, what I’m going to do is send an email with a break down where I’m going to show you behind the scenes. I’m going to show you the webinar funnel, what we did. I’m going to let you funnel hack what I just did. I’ll give you the share funnels, the emails. But you have to watch the webinar to be able to get access to that.” And it should force people to consume the webinar, which will create sales and things like that. That was a cool thing, doing a double webinar. We did that back in the day. 8 or 9 years ago we used to double things like that. We’d do one and one right after. I forgot about them and it was, I think there’s a correlation here, doing a double webinar and the second webinar is showing something, but just keeps closing sales. But it’s a different presentation. I’ll test with that and let you guys know what we figure out. Figuring out your pricing strategy was big. There’s so many cool lessons from it. Hopefully you guys watched it and experienced it. You had a chance to see behind the scenes of the numbers and metrics, the big takeaways and aha’s we learned along the way. Anyway, it was pretty awesome. Hopefully I’ll see you guys. Thank you again for listening to Marketing Secrets podcast. Lessons Russell learned from Tim Ferriss at Joe Polish's 25K group. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is Russell Brunson and this is the Marketing in your car Podcast. Hey, everyone. Welcome to the Marketing in Your Car Podcast. I am so excited to be with you today. Today I want to share with you guys a story of what happened to me a little while ago in New York. There was this group I wanted to check out and join. It's Joe Polish's $25,000 group. There was an initiation meeting in New York where you pay $10,000 to go there for two days. If you like it, you pay the extra $15,000 to join the $25,000 group. I wanted to go out there, but there were a couple issues. One, it was the same time as my anniversary. Two, it was in New York across the country. And three, I had to convince my wife that we should be in New York instead. I pulled off an elaborate scheme to convince her that we needed to be in New York for our anniversary, me and her, then I could go to the meeting. Luckily for me, it all worked out and we were able to do that. We went like four or five days early to New York. My wife and I got to hang out and have fun the first couple days. On Monday morning we went to the today show and we jumped around behind Natalie Mirales and the others. It was cool, we were on TV. Our kids thought we were rock stars. That night, we went and saw Wicked the play, and that was really cool. I had never even heard that story before, so that was really fun. The next morning we went to the Kelly and Michael Show. Kelly was gone, but Michael was there, and the co-host was Rebecca Romaine, which was awesome. The guest was Carrie Underwood, so we got to be two feet away from Carrie Underwood, which was cool. And once again, we were on TV and our kids saw us. That night we went to a taping of America's Got Talent, so that was really cool. That was the fun part of the trip for my wife and I. Then the next two days we had the mastermind meeting. We were there and the mastermind was really good. At the end they had a guy who a lot of you guys have probably heard of. Tim Ferriss got up and spoke. I really enjoy reading Tim's stuff, but I don't think he's a very good presenter. When he speaks, he's a little dry and boring for me. I remember he was talking about venture capitalists and stuff that doesn't really interest me at all. I was zoning out a little bit. At the end, he opened it up for Q&A, and one person got up and I've had people ask me this question before so I kind of almost rolled my eyes when they said it. They said, “Tim, what question should we be asking you?” Tim sat there and thought for a minute and said, “Ask me how come I will never let the media follow me around for a day, because they ask me all the time. They want to see a day in the life of Tim Ferriss.” The guy was like, “All right, how come you never let the media follow you around for a day?” He said, “Because if you look at my day, I wake up in the morning, I do some meditation, then I eat cereal, then I go on a walk. Then I read some books, then I surf on the internet. If you were to look at what I do every day, you'd think I didn't do anything.” He's like, “I don't work like most people. Most people have a to-do list of all their tasks for the day. They try to go knock out each to-do one at a time, and at the end of the day if they've knocked them all out, they feel accomplished.” He said, “I work way differently. I like to sit back and look for the one big,

Most people have a to-do list of all their tasks for the day. They try to go knock out each to-do one at a time, and at the end of the day if they've knocked them all out, they feel accomplished.” He said, “I work way differently. I like to sit back and look for the one big, huge domino that if I push that domino down, it will knock down and make every other domino obsolete. That's how I can accomplish so much. I'm not racing and running into the next thing and the next thing. I sit back and I look for the big domino.” That was his advice. It was interesting because I am very much the opposite. I am someone who sits there and just tries to get tasks done. It has served me well in life, just doing thing after thing after thing. But it also has gotten me in trouble multiple times. One day I woke up and I had 100 employees working for me, and it was because of that: me running and running and running and not really sitting back and looking at the strategy behind things and waiting to find that one big domino. I remember when I got back from New York I went on a trip to the Dominican Republic. After I got back from that, I came back and I told my team that. I spent the next three or four days sitting in front of a whiteboard. We have a wall in our office that is just a big whiteboard, and there's a couch in front of it. I sat in that couch for days, trying to figure out what is our big domino. What is the one thing we can do that makes everything else obsolete? It was hard, because I wanted to go and check my email and check the next task. I'm always a hustler, trying to go on and speed to the next thing, and in this case I didn't do that. I tried to sit back and look at it strategically. It was interesting. It's kind of cool if you think about it. I've been doing Jujitsu for the last little while, and Jujitsu is kind of a similar concept. In wrestling it's very aggressive and you're always going, going, going. But in Jujitsu it's a lot different. Jujitsu is a lot slower, a lot more methodical. You're just looking for the next strategic thing. I enjoy it a lot, but its way different than wrestling in that way. This kind of feels like the Jujitsu style, where you're slowly looking for that move that will get them to tap out, as opposed to trying to score point after point after point. It's interesting, the different mindsets. I'm in the wrestler mindset, the to-do mindset, let's knock things out as quick as we can and accomplish stuff fast. I've been trying over the last month or so now to focus on what is that one big domino that I'm going to knock down. It's been interesting. It's been fun to look at my business from that standpoint. I just encourage you guys to slow down a little bit, sit back and think about what's the one big domino you can knock down that makes all the other dominoes obsolete? If you can find that, you can make a lot more money in a lot less time. That's what I've got for you guys today. I hope you enjoyed it. If you do like these podcasts, please go to MarketingInYourCar.com or go to iTunes and give some feedback. I'd love to see it. It's exciting for me. I appreciate you guys and I'll talk to you all again soon.
