Not every haunting involves ghosts — sometimes, it's the living who are being warned. In 2012, a young woman noticed two blackbirds perched on her porch light at 10 p.m. — unmoving, unblinking, and silent. No matter how close she got, they wouldn't fly away. The next night, one bird returned, facing her front door as if keeping watch. The unease she felt that night turned to terror days later, when her ex-boyfriend shot two men — a father and son — killing them both. Two birds. Two deaths. She couldn't shake the connection. The night after she sprinkled holy water, the birds vanished — only to return weeks later, this time trying to force their way into her apartment, shrieking and clawing at the door like they were furious. Was it a warning from something protective, a dark omen of what was to come, or something evil marking those tied to tragedy? One thing is certain: when blackbirds come at night and refuse to leave, they're not just birds anymore. #RealGhostStoriesOnline #OmenStory #DarkPremonition #TrueHaunting #ParanormalEncounter #DeathOmen #CursedBirds #SupernaturalSigns #CrowsAndDeath #UnexplainedPhenomena #TrueParanormalStory #RealHaunting Love real ghost stories? The belief that the movement of heavenly bodies shapes or predicts events has been around for thousands of years and can be found in many ancient cultures. Even today, some people look to their horoscopes when seeking insight on life decisions. Others read their horoscopes just for fun, without really believing in astrology, or using it to make serious choices. Still others would never dream of reading their horoscopes, viewing this as a form of divination or witchcraft which could open the door to demonic forces. The Catechism of the Catholic Church lists astrology among other divination practices (including conjuring the dead, palm reading, and recourse to mediums) that Catholics should avoid. Pope Francis reminded the faithful to cling to Jesus, not horoscopes or fortunetellers, for security in life. But do these warnings refer to all uses of astrology? What about people who read their horoscopes for fun, or look to the positions of the celestial bodies when planning agricultural practices like planting crops or pruning fruit trees? On this episode of Glad You Asked, the hosts talk to historian Luis Campos Ribeiro about the origins of astrology, how Christianity has regarded it over the centuries, and what the Catholic Church teaches today about looking to the stars for guidance. Ribeiro is a historian of art and of science, with a focus on astrology, astronomy and their connections to art in the Medieval and Early Modern eras. He has a doctorate degree in History and Philosophy of Sciences from the University of Lisbon, and has written multiple articles, and two books, including Jesuit Astrology: Prognostication and Science in Early Modern Culture (Brill). Learn more about this topic and read some of Campos Ribeiro's work in these links. “Should Catholics consult their horoscopes?” by Kathleen Manning “Cling to the Lord, not horoscopes, fortunetellers, pope says,” by Junno Arocho “Nautical astrology: a forgotten early modern tradition,” by Luis Campos Ribeiro Jesuit Astrology: Prognostication and Science in Early Modern Culture, by Luis Campos Ribeiro “What are the ancient origins of your zodiac sign?” by Catherine Caruso “The Meaning of Coincidence,” by Edward Tverdek Glad You Asked is sponsored by the Claretian Missionaries USA, a congregation of Catholic priests and brothers who live and work with the most vulnerable among us. In this episode, Paula explores the growing trend of algorithmic spirituality — when people treat TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms as if they're oracles delivering divine messages. Questions about how the similarities between Krishna and Jesus could be a coincidence and whether there's any proof to substantiate the idea that Jesus studied Buddhism during his “missing years.” How could the similarities between the Krishna story and the Jesus story (e.g., a star at his birth, his father traveling to pay taxes, a transfiguration, etc.) be a coincidence? Is there any proof to substantiate the idea that Jesus studied Buddhism during his “missing years”?

Jean-Luc Brunel, the French modeling agent and longtime associate of Jeffrey Epstein, was found dead in his La Santé prison cell in Paris on February 19, 2022, in what authorities immediately labeled a suicide by hanging. Brunel had been under investigation for rape, sexual harassment, and the trafficking of minors, accused by several women—including Virginia Giuffre—of grooming and supplying underage models to Epstein and other powerful men. His death occurred before his case could reach trial, instantly reigniting suspicions about how another key figure in the Epstein network could die under eerily similar circumstances to Epstein himself. Victims expressed outrage, saying Brunel's death robbed them of justice and silenced a potential witness who might have revealed more about the structure and reach of Epstein's global operation. The official narrative—that Brunel's death was a suicide—sparked widespread skepticism and frustration across France and beyond. Reports emerged that Brunel had been on suicide watch previously, prompting questions about prison oversight, security lapses, and whether his death was preventable—or possibly convenient. Critics drew parallels to Epstein's own jailhouse death in 2019, arguing that both men's sudden “suicides” effectively closed critical avenues of investigation into elite sex-trafficking networks. French prosecutors confirmed no foul play was “immediately suspected,” but they acknowledged the timing and circumstances raised understandable public concern. To this day, Brunel's death remains shrouded in doubt, a haunting echo of a global scandal that continues to expose the failures of institutions to deliver full accountability.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

Some hauntings never end. They don't stay in basements or bedrooms—they follow you, waiting years if they must, to strike again. This is the true ghost story of Kevin from South Florida, a man whose life has been stalked by shadows since childhood. It began with tragedy—the death of his sister, the grief of his father's passing—and it deepened when Kevin turned to a Ouija board to seek answers. The board responded, not with comfort, but with something darker. A voice. A presence. A name: Zam. From that moment on, Kevin's life spiraled into real haunting phenomena: objects moving, radios screaming static, nights of crushing weight pinning him to his bed, and even blackouts where his own family swore his eyes didn't look like his own. At his lowest, Kevin turned to cutting, convinced he was losing himself to something he couldn't control. Then came the intervention—prayers, deliverance, a fragile peace that lasted nearly a decade. But demons are patient. Just days ago, after attending a Halloween fetish party in a former theater, Kevin discovered his phone had sent a text to a number no one should ever message: 666. The chilling words: “Be there in 15.” Coincidence? Glitch? Or a sign that the thing Kevin once encountered has been waiting all this time? This isn't just a scary story. It's a warning about grief, curiosity, and the doors we open without realizing what waits on the other side. #TrueGhostStory #RealHaunting #OuijaBoard #DemonEncounter #ParanormalActivity #PossessionStory #HauntedLife #Exorcism #ScaryStory #Supernatural #DarkPresence #666 Love real ghost stories? Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb joins Brian Keating to discuss a groundbreaking observation: the HiRISE camera on NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has imaged 3I/ATLAS, a rare interstellar visitor, from the vantage point of Mars. In this episode, we explore: • What HiRISE detected and why it matters for planetary science. • How interstellar objects like ʻOumuamua and 3I/ATLAS challenge our theories. • Why Mars may become an ideal outpost for detecting future interstellar visitors. • The implications for astrobiology, planetary defense, and our search for extraterrestrial technology. ✨ Just as the 1977 “Wow! Signal” jolted radio astronomers with a one-time unexplained burst, 3I/ATLAS may be its optical cousin—an anomalous, fleeting, but potentially transformative messenger. Loeb even calculated that 3I/ATLAS's trajectory passed within about one degree of the Wow! Signal's sky position, making the connection more than metaphorical. Ignoring such rare alignments risks repeating history: anomalies slip through our fingers while orthodoxy insists nothing unusual happened. The Wow! Signal warned us of the danger of complacency; 3I/ATLAS reminds us that cosmic surprises often lurk at the margins of expectation, carrying lessons we may miss if we force every mystery into old categories. -

In 1838, Edgar Allan Poe published a novel about shipwrecked sailors resorting to cannibalism, choosing a cabin boy named Richard Parker as their victim. Nearly fifty years later, a real shipwreck occurred—and the crew also cannibalized a cabin boy named Richard Parker. The eerie coincidence has baffled literary scholars and historians ever since. In this episode, we explore the strange overlap of fiction and reality in the Richard Parker coincidence.

Grief can make the world feel uncanny — and sometimes the uncanny feels like comfort. In this episode we hear from multiple listeners whose lives were changed by strange coincidences and possible messages from the other side. One woman flies across the country after her father dies and begins seeing small, specific signs: the Breakfast Club song playing at impossible moments, a yellow balloon that bursts on the exact anniversary, a mysterious phone ring that shouldn't have connected — and recurring dreams where Dad insists, “I'm not dead… I faked my death.” Are these comforting visitations, or our minds searching for connection? We also debate memorial choices: cremation keepsakes and urn jewelry that let families carry a piece of a loved one, and whether that matters to the departed. Then we shift to other eerie submissions — a college Christmas with a Polaroid that keeps ending up in the trash, an EVP capture that sounds like a chilling whisper, and a man who kept seeing the synchronicity number 11:11 during a terrifying medical scare. When a tiny cross gifted by a sister shows up at the exact moment of difficult biopsy news, coincidence becomes consolation. Are these supernatural signs, psychological comfort, or meaningful synchronicities? We don't have definitive answers — only the real, moving stories people send in when they want to know if they're still being watched over. Tune in for comfort, goosebumps, and the tender strangeness that shows up after loss. #SignsFromBeyond #GriefStories #Synchronicity #11_11 #EVP #TrueGhostStories #CremationJewelry #RealHauntings #ComfortFromBeyond #RealGhostStoriesOnline Love real ghost stories? In a special guest episode of the Haaretz Podcast, German ambassador Steffen Seibert sits down with Guy Rolnik and Anat Georgy, co-hosts of “The Markers” – the Hebrew-language podcast of Haaretz’s sister publication, The Marker. In the interview, Seibert addressed the increasingly complicated relationship between the two countries since the Gaza war and said he was “not optimistic” about Israel’s future if its government continues in its current direction. “My country is very clearly against the extension and escalation of the war," Seibert said. At the same time, he expressed both affection and sympathy for the “exhausted” citizens of the Jewish state and concerns about growing antisemitism across Europe. “It's a difficult time to be an Israeli. The idea that when you go abroad as a tourist, you have to worry about your personal safety, and you have to worry if it's okay to speak Hebrew in the street – this is horrible, and it is a challenge to all of us Europeans to make sure that that doesn't become the new reality forever.” Rolnik and Georgy also engaged in an in-depth exchange with Seibert on the nature of German democracy and what Israel might learn from it as it wrestles with the judicial reform crisis and when free speech crosses the line and becomes incitement. Ultimately, he said, despite Germany’s “serious disagreements” regarding both Gaza and the occupation of the West Bank, “the fact remains that we consider ourselves forever friends of Israel and supporters of the right of Israel to be here, to be safe and to have this Jewish and democratic state. This is not a fashion in German politics. This is one of the pillars of our political identity.” Read more: EU Proposes Sanctions on Israel: Suspending Trade Benefits, Targeting Far-right Ministers Germany Will Not Join Western Allies in Recognizing Palestine, Chancellor Merz Says 'Some Artists Blur Their Identity,' as the World Turns a Deaf Ear to Israeli MusiciansSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Some hauntings never stay behind. They don't belong to a single house, a single street, or even a single family. They follow. They spread. They claim what they want, and sometimes the only thing left behind is ash. The first house seemed ordinary enough, until a second attic was discovered—hidden, sealed, as if waiting to be opened. Soon after, the sightings began. A tall, gaunt man in outdated clothing walked the halls with deliberate steps, never acknowledging the living, never fading when seen. Friends spotted him in windows. They saw him walking up porches blocks away. He wasn't tied to walls—he was tied to them. When the family moved to West 4th Street, the figure followed. The upstairs hallway was a gauntlet of dread. Boots stomped overhead where no floor existed. A photo frame drifted across a room. A baby pointed to an empty staircase and whispered “Mamaw”—naming the grandmother she had never met. And the violence didn't stop there. Voices whispered, doors locked themselves, bushes grabbed at clothes, and even a turtle-shaped candy dish snapped open as if alive. And then, one by one, the neighborhood burned. Houses, factories, entire blocks reduced to ash. Finally, the house itself caught fire and collapsed. But the haunting didn't end. Because sometimes fire doesn't cleanse—it only frees what was already there. This is the true haunting of East 2nd and West 4th Street. And the tall man? Some people grow up knowing they're not alone. For her, it started in childhood—voices in empty rooms, the sense of eyes at her back. At nineteen came the first direct encounter: a pitch-black, basketball-sized sphere perched at the corner of her bed. It didn't drift. It jumped—hard—slamming the bed into the headboard and scattering objects. “A nightmare,” her father said. But beds don't launch themselves. That's when the lifelong haunting began. Years passed. Activity ebbed, then surged. Nightmares left her soaked in sweat, heart racing, details erased—only terror remained. Last July, she moved to a quiet one-bedroom in Elk Grove, California, hoping for calm. Instead, a new ritual: each morning as she rolled to silence her alarm on the nightstand, a bloodcurdling scream blasted into her ear—as if someone shrieked inside her head. When she started keeping the phone in the bed, the screaming stopped. Coincidence… or response? This isn't a house story. It follows her. Not EMF meters and easy answers—just a pattern of intelligent responses, physical marks, and a protector that won't cross the threshold. One entity or many? Mimic, parasite, shadow that learned her routines? The evidence points to a relentless, personal haunting—one that screams through alarms, marks skin, shakes beds… and waits. #TrueGhostStory #RealHaunting #HauntedHouse #GhostCaughtOnCamera #ParanormalActivity #ShadowPeople #CreepyEncounters #UnexplainedMysteries #ElkGrove #Poltergeist #DogSeesGhosts #ScaryStory Love real ghost stories? Gogo Lomo-David joins us for a wild, soulful, and hilarious ride. You've seen Gogo in the Starbucks commercial (even though he doesn't drink coffee!), California Lottery, Apartments.com, and The Righteous Gemstones — now get to know the man behind the roles. Even as the face of Starbucks, Gogo admits he doesn't drink coffee — he's naturally wired thanks to his mom's pregnancy cravings for cola and strawberry yogurt. But for Pol and Patrik? He drinks Armenian coffee… and calls it “extra Black.” Gogo spills the tea on his career glow-up: a new commercial with Jennifer Coolidge, acting in Shameless, and two seasons on The Righteous Gemstones with Danny McBride, Walton Goggins, and John Goodman. He praises the cast's improv brilliance and the joy of being on such a dynamic set. Before the gigs, Gogo was an Uber driver. He met wild riders (including someone who discovered Lady Gaga) and endured bad ones (a drunk passenger dropping slurs). These stories reveal Gogo's grit — he drove Uber by day, auditioned by night, and built connections along the way. Gogo shares his African-American story: born in Pennsylvania, raised in North Carolina, and Nigerian by heritage. He teaches Pol and Patrik phrases in Pidgin English, mixing humor with heartfelt reflection. The heart of the episode comes when Pol performs a coffee reading. He sees deep love — a woman Gogo knows well, someone he's never dated but deeply connected to. Gogo opens up: they met in 2016, stayed close, but he backed away when feelings grew. The next day, her boyfriend broke up with her. Now? They're heading to a wedding in Italy — together.

Is there such a thing as coincidence? Recently I read an essay by Henrik Karllson, in his Substack page Escaping Flatland, titled “Almost Anything You Give Sustained Attention to Will Begin To Loop on Itself and Bloom”, and I was especially struck by his comment that "Art is guided meditation". This was, to me, a new way of thinking about paying attention and slowing down, of being in the moment. It rang true. This coincided with working on this episode, and listening to Andrew Duhon's song “Slow Down”, which features the lyrics “We've got to slow down/ All we'll ever have it right here right now/ Right here right now/ I think we need to slow down/ Our eyes on the horizon line/ All these years/ It's the things we keep our eyes on/ Seem to be the things that disappear when we get there”. Coincidence? I say that has to be a long shot. Slowing down can be helpful in a lot of situations, creative endeavors especially. Do you ever find yourself in a spot where you wish you could simply jump to the finish line, like in a project, or even with cooking dinner? I feel that way a lot when starting work on the scripts for Southern Songs and Stories episodes. The blank page is always the hardest part — just those first paragraphs can take up the better part of a day sometimes. You have heard the phrase “like pulling teeth”, I bet. The creative process can feel that way, at times: a painful slog, with no guarantees of any gain, that makes you question why you put yourself through it. Slowing down is key to making something worthwhile, whether that brings material gain or simply self satisfaction with a job well done. With patience, with letting things come to you, with sitting still and actively listening for the muse, good things can happen. There is no way to reap the rewards without paying the cost, and part of the bargain is giving something of yourself, something that might be as hard as pulling teeth. I hope you can slow down with us, and enjoy this episode on Andrew Duhon. Here, he expounds on his music and his band, while he also touches on religion, politics, and a lot more, including the hardest song that he has ever written, why he does not have a place to call home in New Orleans currently, and his own eye-catching chapeau, a vintage baseball cap that says “Cuban Boatlift 1980”. All that and more, including more of Andrew's music, especially from his recent appearance at The Albino Skunk Music Festival in Greer, SC, awaits you in this episode. Andrew Duhon gives the thumbs up to this podcast, and to you, too Songs heard in this episode:“Bayou La Batre” by Andrew Duhon, from The Parish Record“Girl From Plaquemine” by Andrew Duhon, performed live at Albino Skunk Music Festival 05/08/25, excerpt“Waco Kool-Aid” by Andrew Duhon, performed live at the Albino Skunk Music Festival 05/08-25, excerpt“Just Another Beautiful Girl” by Andrew Duhon, performed live at Albino Skunk Music Festival 05/08/25, excerpt“Just In Case” by Andrew Duhon, performed live at the Albino Skunk Music Festival 05/08/25 Thank you for visiting! She was killed three weeks ago. Suddenly her story is everywhere. Why now? Why this case? And why is the media pushing it while Ukraine demands more U.S. money and troops? In this episode of The Matt Kim Podcast, we ask: • Was this tragedy weaponized to sell war? • Why did it explode the same day Russia launched its largest attack on Ukraine? • Is this America's new “George Floyd moment”? • Who benefits from the outrage cycle — and what freedoms will we lose next? We're not saying the crime didn't happen. We're asking the questions nobody else will.

FBI Behavior Chief Breaks Down Bryan Kohberger's Apartment We're not touring the crime scene. We're examining the newly circulated images from Bryan Kohberger's apartment and office—the spaces he chose and how they speak. What do you see when a life is mostly empty walls, loose papers, and one lone keepsake? A birthday card dated 11/21/22 sits like a lighthouse in a fog. The message? A strange duality: “proper” on one side, “riding the rage” on the other. Is it a mom's hopeful nudge—or quiet recognition of a split he couldn't reconcile? Then there's the office door: a crude smiley with those distinctive vertical eyes—eerily echoing the card's own face. Coincidence? A copy? Intentional mirroring? We connect that to a separate clue in the grading notes: “Only answer the question asked.” It's a professor's plea to stop pontificating—evidence of someone more invested in sounding smart than engaging with the assignment. It's not brilliance; it's volume. We also tackle the big misconception: “If he had OCD, why is everything a mess?” Because labels aren't behavior; behavior is behavior. You can be hyper-controlled in one narrow slice of life and chaotic everywhere else. The apartment looks less like ritualized order and more like a disorganized brain that fixates, then drops the thread. Even the vegetarian receipts and “fake meat” run don't point to empathy—they might just be another fixation in a life of copy/paste identities. This segment isn't a diagnosis. It's a read of visible patterns: mimicry, identity gap, and chaos where substance should be. If you want the viral moment, it's here—the card, the smiley, and what they quietly telegraph. learn how to say 'coincidence' in Korean
In the shadow of the Tower of London — one of the most haunted places on Earth — a group of American students arrived wide-eyed and eager to check off their travel bucket lists. But for one student, the trip turned into a horrifying true story of disrespect, dark history, and possible paranormal revenge. He mocked it all. Laughed at ancient relics. Rolled his eyes at stories of hauntings. And then, beneath the very tree where Anne Boleyn — the famously executed wife of Henry VIII — is believed to have lost her life, he spit on the ground. He danced and joked about "the headless queen," trampling over the memory of those brutally murdered centuries ago. The rest of the group watched in awkward silence, uneasy at his disrespect. But that night, the real haunting began. Hours after his behavior, he collapsed in a London pub. Screaming that his head didn't feel like it was attached to his body — an eerily specific phrase considering whose grave he'd just mocked — he passed out and tumbled down a full flight of stairs. His classmates were awakened at 3AM by a professor with news no one expected: he was unconscious in the hospital. The tour was over for him. He had to be medically evacuated back to the United States. Doctors never figured out why it happened. He recovered… but remembered nothing. Was it alcohol? Coincidence? Or did Anne Boleyn — or one of the many other restless spirits in the Tower — decide enough was enough? #HauntedLondon #TowerOfLondon #RealGhostStories #TrueParanormalStory #AnneBoleyn #HauntedPlaces #ParanormalRevenge #GhostCaughtOnCamera #StudyAbroadHorror #AmericanTouristFails #RespectTheDead #CreepyTrueStory Love real ghost stories? To celebrate the first 7 years of my business (a Saturn cycle), I am looking back at the habits, healing, and challenges I faced in the various chapters along my path. In this particular installment, I look at a period marked by a lot of Death, where learning to hold grief, and to trust myself as I faced uncertain futures, became essential to how I hold everything in life, including the art of my career. This will likely be the most personal and vulnerable chapter in this whole series. It was a year of rollicking change, grounding in ritual, and surrendering to trust. I call the frameworks that emerged at this time Vulture Magic and The Emergent No. These grew mostly from my personal life, especially 4th, 7th, and 8th house relationships and experiences. To catch the previous chapters of this story, tune into Episodes 179, 183, and 190. The 44 Checks That Could Convict Donna Adelson | Hidden Paper Trail Exposed How do you pay a woman who doesn't work for you? Easy—just write forty-four checks after a murder. In this explosive episode, Tony Brueski and legal expert Eric Faddis unravel the damning paper trail linking Donna Adelson directly to Katherine Magbanua, the alleged go-between in the murder-for-hire plot that ended Dan Markel's life. Every single check was personally signed by Donna. Every single payment came after Dan's murder. And they all mysteriously stopped after an FBI undercover sting operation. Coincidence? Not likely. Eric Faddis dissects the legal impact of this financial evidence, how prosecutors frame it as consciousness of guilt, and whether the defense can realistically claim Donna was just being generous or blindly signing off on shady bookkeeping. This is more than just check fraud—this is motive with a memo line. Follow the money, and you just might follow the conspiracy straight to the top. Two strange nights—two unexplained explosions of sound. A woman who rarely experiences the paranormal begins noticing something curious: the only times odd, unsettling events happen seem to be on nights she dares to listen to ghost stories after dark. First, a lightbulb suddenly bursts overhead in the middle of the night, leaving only an eerie silence and an unshakable feeling of dread. Weeks later, a lone fire alarm in her room screams to life without cause—falling silent the moment she reaches for the door. Coincidence?
