A aké má vláda plány ohľadom ďalšieho jadrového zdroja? Je pravda, že ho budú stavať Juhokórejčania? Struggling with sleep apnea or snoring? Learn how a simple technique can improve your sleep quality and reduce disruptive noises.   I had a conversation with Alex Neist, the founder of Hostage Tape. He shared his personal journey with nasal breathing and mouth taping. He explained how it can improve sleep quality, reduce snoring, and boost energy levels. Intrigued by his experience, I decided to give it a try.   Like many others, I was a mouth breather. This can lead to various health issues, including sleep apnea and snoring. Mouth taping is a simple technique that can help us retrain our bodies to breathe through our nose.   Key Takeaways:   Consider consulting with a healthcare professional for personalized advice.   Mouth breathing can have negative health consequences   It's important to be mindful of our breathing habits throughout the day, especially during sleep.   Resources:   Alex Neist is an entrepreneur, health advocate, and former professional quarterback. Alex Neist, the man behind Hostage Tape. This ecommerce marvel is radically improving sleep quality, one mouth at a time. Alex has already skyrocketed Hostage Tape to 7 figures a month and will crush 8 figures in 2023. But don't mistake Alex for a one-trick pony. This isn't his first entrepreneurial endeavor. He previously devoted 16 years to a sports video analytics company, bootstrapping it from scratch before making a graceful exit. During his tenure, he pioneered the use of humans to tag games, making them easily searchable for coaches and athletes - kind of like a human Google, but for sports. Before his business feats, Alex sported the helmet and shoulder pads, gracing the field as a professional quarterback in the Arenafootball league. When he wasn't calling plays on the field, he was coaching them, with a coaching career spanning over 15 years. Whether it's strategizing in business, on the football field, or in the realm of sleep, Alex Neist loves traveling the world looking for his next adventure with his wife and 2 kids.   In this episode, Brad and Alex discuss his brand and the personal events in his life that motivated him to create this company.   Bombs: Shift your perspective. Alex Neist (@alexneist), an ex-Arena Football League quarterback and coach, transitioned from sports to entrepreneurship as the founder and CEO of Hostage Tape, a company focused on improving sleep quality. His journey in business was inspired by his parents' encouragement, the principles of Stoicism, and key insights from authors like Chris Voss and Robert Cialdini. Neist values emotional intelligence, effective communication, and the art of negotiation in both his personal and professional life. Under his leadership, Hostage Tape emphasizes the importance of detail in product development and marketing, learning from early challenges in manufacturing and advertising. Neist believes in giving his team autonomy and continuously seeks to improve through lessons learned from books like Voss's "Never Split the Difference."  His approach to building a strong network involves creating desirable products and reaching out to influential individuals. Neist trusts his instincts for business pivots and stays motivated by viewing challenges as opportunities for growth. What Alex and Travis discussed: Mouth breathing can significantly impact sleep quality and health. Alex went down a "rabbit hole" researching ways to address his snoring and poor sleep, eventually discovering mouth taping. This simple technique helped transform his sleep and energy levels. Building a successful business takes time and perseverance. Alex spent 16 years building his first company through constant failures and learning. This grit prepared him for the meteoric growth of his newest venture. Success is rarely overnight. Surrounding yourself with people on the path you want to be on is crucial. Alex  stresses finding mentors and examples that exemplify your vision and values rather than listening to naysayers without relevant experience. We become like those we surround ourselves with. Delegating tasks and responsibilities is key as a business scales. As Alex's company grew quickly, he focused on letting go of control by empowering his team to take on more. Learning to delegate instead of doing everything yourself is vital. Small problems can snowball into relationship breakdowns if not addressed. Something as simple as loud snoring compounded over the years for Alex, driving his wife out of their bedroom. This was a catalyst leading to their separation and divorce. We must proactively work on the small issues. This was a wide-ranging, vulnerable conversation with much to learn. However, as a business owner and founder, to ensure that your company continues to thrive, you must take care of yourself, visualize your success, and bring the right people to help you carry your vision forward.  Getting the right people in your team is crucial to your success and scalability. You have to be careful when hiring new team members because if you get the wrong person in your company, they are like a virus and can spread negativity and toxicity very quickly, which is hard to eliminate.  So, ensure you find individuals who align with your desired company culture to enhance your scalability and growth. It's not enough to hire for skills. You need people who are passionate about your vision. Join the conversation with Alex Neist as he shares more about building a business that you are passionate about, taking care of yourself as an entrepreneur, and hiring the right people to propel your vision forward.  Alex is the founder of Hostage Tape and a former American football professional. He used to play in the Indiana football league and has been a football coach since he graduated from college. After football, Alex founded two companies, one of which he exited. Hostage Tape is Alex's new adventure. Their specialty, Mouth Tape, will help you sleep and breathe better. As a leader, you deserve your people and have to ensure they have what they need to do their job; it is not about you telling your work what to do.  Put yourself first in everything you do; put more work into yourself and take care of yourself to increase your output.  Connect With Alex Neist: Website: https://hostagetape.com/products/buy LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/alexneist Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/hostagetape/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/HostageTape/ ----- Help me inspire more (wannabe) entrepreneurs. In this episode, Alex Neist, founder of Hostage Tape, discusses the importance of shutting your mouth for better sleep. Alex shares his personal experience with sleep apnea and how it led him to discover the benefits of nasal breathing during sleep. Alex talks about how it affects our overall health and well-being and gives tips on how to train ourselves to breathe through our noses. Join us for an informative and eye-opening conversation on the simple yet transformative act of shutting your mouth for better sleep.   Alex Neist is a passionate leader with expertise in technology and sports. He has founded two companies and has played and coached football at all levels, from high school to the professional ranks. His extensive experience in the sports world has enabled him to work with a diverse range of clients worldwide.   Key Highlights: [00:01 - 10:24] Opening Segment ●     Alex shares his personal story of how he came up with the idea for Hostage Tape after going through a divorce and realizing that his snoring was a serious problem. ●     Alex tried various solutions to his snoring problem, including a mouth guard and a chin strap, but found them uncomfortable and ineffective. ●     Alex stumbled across an article written by James Nester, which led him to the idea of nasal breathing and Hostage Tape. ●     Alex recommends that they read three books: "Jaws," "The Oxygen Advantage," and "Breath," all of which appear to relate to the importance of breathing and its impact on our health.   [10:25 - 15:03] Hostage Tape: A Branding Play For Better Sleep ●     The name "Hostage Tape" was chosen as a branding play that taps into the core emotions of feeling held hostage by poor sleep or a bad sleep partner. ●     The name also alludes to the appearance of someone with tape on their mouth, looking like a hostage. ●     The company aimed to differentiate itself from other mouth tape brands by creating a product that works for men with facial hair and strong jaws, who often struggle to find comfortable and strong enough tape. ●     Hostage Tape claims to be the strongest and most comfortable mouth tape on the market, designed to hold the jaw shut and prevent snoring.   [15:04 - 27:45] Mouth Breathing Can Cause Dental And Health Problems ●     Alex mentions that snoring is not just a problem faced by overweight people, as even physically fit people can snore heavily. ●     He highlights the importance of breathing through the nose during sleep to trigger nitric oxide release and promote deeper sleep cycles. ●     He also mentions that sleeping with the mouth open causes dry mouth, scratchy throat, bad breath, and tooth decay. ●     He refers to James Nester's book Jaws, which talks about the impact of mouth breathing on health and dental issues.   [27:46 - 35:54] Food & Lifestyle Factors Affect Breathing Habits ●     The conversation revolves around the reasons why people nowadays tend to mouth breathe more than they did in the past. ●     The food we eat and the rise of processed and soft foods, fast food chains, and liquid sugar are believed to be the main reasons for this change. ●     The amount of fast food and soda accessible to people is suggested to have affected the physical appearance of individuals, leading to a higher obesity rate than in the past. ●     The conversation touches on the benefits of nasal breathing during exercise and walking.     [35:55 - 42:14] Closing Segment ●     Taping the mouth shut and forcing nasal breathing can help open the nasal passages, even when sick. ●     Nasal breathing is natural and healthy; taping the mouth shut can help train the body to breathe this way. ●     Breath right strips are helpful in opening up nasal passages, and they have a positive effect on running performance.     Key Quotes:   “Don't let bad sleep hold you hostage.” - Alex Neist   “I believe that everything in life happens for a reason. That everything that happens, it happens, you know, for you, right? To be able to learn from it to get better.” - Alex Neist   “The problem is too many people are trying to find a quick way to get rich, and then they get bored of it, and they don't actually put everything into it.” - Alex Neist   “A great branding play is not a safe play for everyone.” - Alex Neist   “Even when you're sick, if you keep your mouth shut and you force yourself to breathe, it will open up.” - Alex Neist     CONNECT WITH ALEX:   https://www.linkedin.com/in/alexneist https://hostagetape.com/pages/why     Get the Million Dollar Body Method eBook- This book is a must-have for anyone looking to drop belly fat and eliminate love handles permanently with expert tips on the 7 daily investments for health and wealth, the one type of cardio you need to include, and a handy checklist to hold yourself accountable to your goals. Francúzske ulice zachvátili v uplynulých týždňoch masívne protesty odborárov a pracujúcich. Prepad hospodárskeho rastu a dvojciferný rast cien. Aký rok nás to vlastne čaká?

Akciové trhy už od začiatku roka prakticky len v prepade, inflácia naopak rastie – a prekonáva dvadsaťročné maximá; a rovnako úrokové sadzby. So Zuzanou Ralbovskou.   Podcast pripravili Jaroslav Barborák a Braňo Dobšinský.

A rovno hrozbami koaličného veta.
