I am a hater of air and a lover of compact design. What I mean by that is that I don't like games where most of the box is empty, with components just floating around. I prefer it when the product design is clever and either has a good insert or otherwise makes everything compact. If a game goes the extra step and makes the box itself an integral component, then I'm super impressed. So in this article, I want to look at some examples that I think do it really well. In this episode, I share my recent experience with burnout to touch on the importance of managing our energy levels, even with things were are passionate about, so that we can keep doing the things we love. I also touch on the things that can make it so hard to give ourselves rest - like negative self talk (I'm lazy, etc) and struggling to ask others for help. I also dive into what you can expect from the podcast moving forward - some fresh concepts and ideas shared at a less frequent pace so that the content can remain high quality and continue to be produced for the long haul. I LOVE making this podcast and I am excited to make some adjustments that will allow me to keep creating content that excites me and serves you all in your life.Download the free meal creation guide here: https://emily-anne-morrow-coaching.ck.page/aab6af3ca4Loved this podcast and want to show some support?Buy me a coffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/emilyannemorrowOther contact info:Work with Emily for 1:1 coaching: https://heal.me/practitioner/emily-morrow-certified-health-coachSliding Scale Offerings with Healing Arts Collective: https://healingarts.org/emily-morrow/Email: emilyannemorrow.unstarved@gmail.comInstagram: @emily.unstarved*Disclaimer: All information in this podcast is intended for general information purposes only, and is not to be interpreted as psychiatric or medical advice, or a replacement to psychiatric or medical care. In this episode, Emily breaks down the simple and straight forward formula for crafting meals that sustain our energy levels and moods, satisfy and stabilize our hunger, and help us to binge eat less often. A common root cause of binge eating is restriction and not eating balanced meals during the course of the day. The best part about this simple formula is that it's all about what we add to our meals, instead of take away.In fact, this gentle nutrition guideline allows us to incorporate all of our favorite foods into our days without sacrificing our health, so we can maintain a balanced lifestyle and get off the yo-yo diet cycle.Download the free meal creation guide here: https://emily-anne-morrow-coaching.ck.page/aab6af3ca4Loved this podcast and want to show some support?Buy me a coffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/emilyannemorrowOther contact info:Work with Emily for 1:1 coaching: https://heal.me/practitioner/emily-morrow-certified-health-coachEmail: emilyannemorrow.unstarved@gmail.comInstagram: @emily.unstarved*Disclaimer: All information in this podcast is intended for general information purposes only, and is not to be interpreted as psychiatric or medical advice, or a replacement to psychiatric or medical care. In this week's episode Emily dives into this common-place dietary guideline that so many of us have heard. While this is partially true, there are other factors that go into what weight our bodies land on, including our unique gut microbiome and something called "metabolic adaptation".Emily also touches on an alternative focal point to support your well being on multiple different levels that go far beyond the over-simplistic "calories in vs. calories out" guideline. If you are on a health journey and want to continue going down a path that focuses on health promoting behaviors regardless of what you may currently weigh, this episode is for you.Referenced Harvard Medical School article: https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/stop-counting-caloriesDownload for free: Satisfy Your Hunger, Fuel Your Body: A Guide to Healthy Meal Making! https://emily-anne-morrow-coaching.ck.page/aab6af3ca4Loved this podcast and want to show some support?Buy me a coffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/emilyannemorrowOther contact info:Work with Emily for 1:1 coaching: https://heal.me/practitioner/emily-morrow-certified-health-coachEmail: emilyannemorrow.unstarved@gmail.comInstagram: @emily.unstarved*Disclaimer: All information in this podcast is intended for general information purposes only, and is not to be interpreted as psychiatric or medical advice, or a replacement to psychiatric or medical care. In this episode, Emily shares some insights on how we can work through our challenging emotions so that we can approach the problems in our life from a grounded, logical place. When we do this, we don't fall into the trap of using toxic positivity to avoid unpleasant emotions, but we also don't allow our emotions to run the entire show. It's about finding that "sweet spot" - where we honor our emotional reality with self compassion and awareness so that we can start to see our lives with more clarity and therefore achieve higher emotional states.Download for free: Satisfy Your Hunger, Fuel Your Body: A Guide to Healthy Meal Making! https://emily-anne-morrow-coaching.ck.page/aab6af3ca4 Loved this podcast and want to show some support?Buy me a coffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/emilyannemorrowOther contact info:Work with Emily for 1:1 coaching: https://heal.me/practitioner/emily-morrow-certified-health-coachEmail: emilyannemorrow.unstarved@gmail.comInstagram: @emily.unstarved*Disclaimer: All information in this podcast is intended for general information purposes only, and is not to be interpreted as psychiatric or medical advice, or a replacement to psychiatric or medical care. In this week's episode of the Pretty Little Tribe Podcast, we are joined by Samantha Dimond. Samantha is the Co-Founder and CEO at Bird&Be, a company revolutionizing the at-home fertility service market.    While struggling with pregnancy loss and buying loads of drugstore pregnancy tests, ovulation predictor kits and prenatal vitamins every month, Samantha—a marketer by trade—found that her bathroom vanity mirrored a “pregnancy culture'' that didn't accurately reflect her own experience or struggle.    She also discovered a gap in infertility care, where there was no initial direction on prenatal vitamins or fertility supplements to optimize her health. From there, Samantha took a deep dive into what should be possible to support a generation of parents-to-be.   If you enjoyed this episode of the Pretty Little Tribe Podcast, make sure you rate us five stars wherever you're listening, and we'll see you next week!    Find Samantha: IG: @birdbeco TikTok:@birdandbe Website: https://birdandbe.com/    Follow us on Instagram! @prettylittletribe Music:  Miss Summer by Roa Music | https://soundcloud.com/roa_music1031 Music promoted by https://www.free-stock-music.com Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/deed.en_US
