In this episode we are talking about Laura Fredrickson's Best Selling book A JOURNEY BACK TO SELF. It is an opus to humanity and a work of heart, packed with SOULular nutrition for anyone seeking courage and support during times of Great Change. Laura has transformed her trials and tribulations into enriching compost — after losing both of her parents to a dual suicide, and having her own brush with suicide after losing everything in the dot com collapse. This enriching compost is sure to fertilize the minds and hearts of those that are ready to embark on their journey of renewal, recalibration and restoration, and cultivate a deep sense of hope, inspiration and empowerment. A JOURNEY BACK TO SELF illuminates the subject of suicide and resolves the stigmatism associated with it, getting to the heart of the matter of the mental health crisis. Laura offers empowering practices and inspirational insights gleaned from her powerful journey, as well as the journey of others that she has interviewed: each imbued with SOULutions that will forever change the way you view yourself, your life and death. A JOURNEY BACK TO SELF is a road map for navigating life and not getting lost in it's many twists and turns or succumbing to the cul de sac of illusion. This is an owners manual to restore within humanity a remembrance of our immense, innate power and the supreme privilege of being human. “Laura is living proof and an exemplar, of someone who has been very far into the darkness, and has come back. She is therefore a very credible person with whom to explore this new way of relating to money, prosperity, safety, security and control. She is credible in ways that most simply are not.” - Barnet Bain, Author Producer, What Dreams May Come Director, Milton's Secret with Eckhart Tolle To hear Laura Fredrickson's full life story behind the book listen to her earlier podcast here: https://youtu.be/ZDGj4nymA-I Dr. Kimberley Linert Speaker, Author, Broadcaster, Mentor, Trainer, Behavioral Optometrist Event Planners- I am available to speak at your event. “The inner impulse of creativity is truly the source of creation, creating through you, as you, and with you.” —Barbara Marx Hubbard, acclaimed spiritual teacher and visionary In today’s podcast, The Inner Impulse of Creativity—a special rebroadcast with the late Barbara Marx Hubbard—Barbara, Steve Farrell, Barnet Bain, John Borysenko, and Barbara Fields discuss the 12 societal spheres which comprise the fullest of basic functions of any community and how each one of us can participate in one or more of those spheres with our own unique gifts and abilities. Many believe that we are at the threshold of a devolutionary breakdown, but simultaneously we’re rising in consciousness ever and ever faster. People are feeling this as an impulse to be creative and to give more and more of themselves in service to the awakening. “I believe crisis precedes transformation,” Barbara said. “I think our crisis is a birth of a new humanity, and we are the fortunate generation to be living exactly on the mark when this new generation is emerging everywhere…” I invite you to listen to our podcast, ‘The Inner Impulse of Creativity’ to hear Barbara and friends talk more about… The 12-Around-1 Model Global as Local Your Soul’s Compass Creativity Quotient The New Species Global New Thought And more! When speaking about the many people all over the world waking up to conscious awareness, Barbara said, “We’re not the head of a country, the head of a corporation, usually we’re not the head of a university, so we’re changing all the systems in the world to reflect this consciousness, creativity, love, oneness, and the epiphany of the gorgeous possibility of humanity with its innovations connected.” (Please note: this is a special rebroadcast and any websites, links, programs, or events mentioned may no longer be active. Lovetuner CEO & Co-Founder, Sigmar Berg, invites Lovetuner advocates to share their story and journey. On today's podcast we invite Barnet Bain, filmmaker, author & coach, to speak about his conscious journey through life, experiences of doubt and his use of spiritual wisdom to overcome and succeed. The Lovetuner is a revolutionary mindfulness tool that aligns you with the 528hz frequency, the vibration of love. In music it means adjusting the pitch of a tone. In humans it means adjusting your emotional and physical state to align with your environment - literally tuning in and harmonizing with yourself and what is around you. The Lovetuner has a profound effect on the body, mind and spirit. Designed for all ages, it allows individuals to reduce stress and anxiety within a couple of breaths. Just like darkness cannot exist in a room of light, stress and anxiety cannot exist in this frequency. Tuning is a very simple and easy way to practice mindfulness through deep breathing exercises. It connects your breath with a low volume audible sound and the frequency of 528 Hz - also referred to as the Love Frequency. When played together it allows people to experience the feeling of equality and unity. "We want to inspire a global community to come together in harmony for a more loving togetherness." Sigmar Berg.

In his answer, Barnet points out that creativity isn’t simply the domain of a privileged few who are born special. [05:27] - When someone believes that they aren’t creative, the amount of creative energy required to create that construct is enormous, Barnet explains. [09:44] - Stephan brings up a specific example of a project that he’s working on and wants to amp up desire for. Barnet then responds with a discussion of the tendency of creativity to build and expand upon itself. [12:06] - We hear a clarification about why Stephan isn’t as excited about the membership site and courses he’s discussing as the coaching and consulting that he generally does. [14:22] - Barnet and Stephan discuss the specifics of Stephan’s audience, and how he would tailor his delivery to his audience. [17:49] - If you’re teaching to dead air, you’re teaching to the past, Barnet points out. In other words, you’re talking to a version of yourself that you’re conjuring up from the past. [20:45] - Stephan is reminded of a conversation with Dan Sullivan. [21:57] - Barnet digs into what makes an entrepreneur creative, which involves having a certain level of accomplishment. [26:40] - Barnet points out the different relationship with the past and the present between what he has just been describing and where we started talking. [29:17] - Stephan takes a moment to recap what Barnet has been saying and making sure all the nuances are clear. Barnet then discusses how various parts of the brain work. [35:40] - Allowing yourself to have compassion for yourself allows you to have it for others too, Barnet explains. [36:37] - Barnet shares his thoughts on affirmations, and how to make them more than just placating words. [40:52] - What Barnet has been saying reminds Stephan of his conversation with Kristen Ulmer and her book The Art of Fear. [43:14] - Focusing on what we don’t want is like ordering the worst thing on the menu, Barnet explains. [48:42] - Stephan shares a powerful distinction that he learned recently about praying for your wishes and desires. [53:18] - Which comes first: desire or fulfillment? Barnet and Stephan discuss the fact that you can’t experience desire without having fulfillment first. [55:50] - Stephan recommends that listeners go to Barnet Bain’s website and take his Creativity Quotient quiz.
