WARNING: you're going to be intimidated by it, but it's probably exactly what you need.TRANSCRIPT

Growth doesn't come from getting it right every time. It comes from staying in the game when things go wrong. In this Best of 2025 He Said She Said episode, Chris and I are bringing together three conversations that shaped us the most this year. We're talking about the moments that tested us, the risks that stretched us, and the rooms that changed how we think, lead, and live. We share stories behind our most cringe-worthy business moments, why your comeback rate matters more than perfection, what Ferrari, Pagani, and Europe taught us about risk and legacy, and how building the right mastermind can collapse timelines faster than anything else we've ever done. In this episode, I'm sharing the five most important lessons I learned as a creator in 2025. From realizing follower count doesn't equal quality content, to embracing change, avoiding creative boxes, redefining success, and making space for rest, this episode is a thoughtful recap of a year that changed how I create and why I do it.
Send us a textI thought I was recording a tidy little year-end recap. A highlight reel. A greatest hits moment. Easy.Instead, I found myself staring at this year of conversations and realizing something way more uncomfortable and way more interesting. Certain themes kept showing up. Across guests who had nothing in common. Across topics that should not have overlapped. And somehow, those themes quietly rewired how I think about goals, ambition, self-compassion, and what I'm willing to accept in my own life.So this episode is not a highlight reel. It's a reflection on the three biggest lessons this podcast taught me this year and why they might matter for you too.One of them completely changed how I look at “stuck” goals and the stories we tell ourselves about why something isn't possible yet. Another challenged the way I think about self-compassion and why being kind to yourself does not mean settling or giving up. And the third forced me to take a hard look at what I'm letting into my brain every single day and how much low-quality noise we've all been normalizing.I share the moments that cracked these lessons open for me, the guests who sparked the shifts, and the questions that stopped me mid-spiral more than once this year. This episode is part reflection, part pattern recognition, and part invitation to stop carrying goals and beliefs that feel heavy, obligatory, or vaguely punishing. If you're heading into a new season thinking about what you want next or wondering why certain goals just don't light you up anymore, this one might land closer to home than you expect. What's Inside:The patterns I couldn't unsee after reviewing a full year of conversationsWhy some goals quietly drain you before you even startA reframing of self-compassion that removes shame without removing choiceWhat happens when you stop letting low-quality noise rent space in your brainThis episode isn't about doing more or fixing yourself. It's about noticing what keeps repeating and having the courage to question it. I'd love to know which theme made you pause or which one you're still chewing on. I'm BACK with a wildly honest reflection on 2025. I wanted to come on here and do a recap — not the sparkly one, not the “new year, new me” thing we all pretend starts in January. Because honestly? We're still in winter, our nervous systems are still in hibernation mode, and we're all wondering why we want to throw our goals off a cliff and live in sweatpants forever. This year taught me that expansion doesn't always roar — sometimes it happens quietly, internally, invisibly, like a spiritual underground renovation project you didn't budget for but absolutely needed. I also realized I had NO idea how to hold myself through emotion until I actually had to. Reiki, solo travel, detachment, patience, uncomfortable truth-telling — icky in the moment, transformative in hindsight. And the wildest part? I stopped looking outside of myself for answers. No TikTok guru, no tarot card, no external noise gets to write the notes for my life anymore. 2026 feels like a brewing season for me — love and abundance, the kind you receive with open hands and a braver heart. And if you're on this journey with me? You already know: the best growth is the kind you feel long before anyone else sees it. So grab a coffee, or a journal, or just your free hands — because this one is for the people who know something is shifting but can't explain it yet. Let's get into it.
In this annual New Year's episode, I'm reflecting on a year that stretched me in every possible way—business growth, leadership, motherhood, health, and moving to Spain.I revisit my intentions from last year, share what actually happened behind the scenes, and break down the shifts, decisions, and hard truths that reshaped both my business and my identity. This episode covers:A candid recap of how 2025 radically challenged me personally and professionallyWhat actually went into scaling my business this yearThe realities behind “money without hustle”How moving abroad, motherhood, and business growth collided—and what I learned about energy, health, and sustainabilityThe vision and intentions I'm setting for 2026: more revenue, fewer hours, better health, and more freedomWhy you don't become “her” when you get there, but rather before you goIf you're entering a new season of growth and know something has to change to get there, this episode is for you.Subscribe and ReviewIf you loved this episode, please take a moment to subscribe and leave a review on Apple Podcasts! Every year teaches me something different, but 2025 felt especially powerful. It reminded me of the emotional side of migraines that often gets overlooked, and helped me reconnect with what women are truly carrying beneath the surface. These are the lessons that shaped me this year. I hope they help you feel seen, understood, and supported. In this episode, I break down the deeper patterns I saw again and again in the women I serve - the fears they hold, the burdens they carry, the gaps in their education, and the transformations that happen when they finally receive the guidance and support they deserve. In this episode, you'll hear: Why fear is one of the heaviest parts of the migraine experience: fear of failing again, of being disappointed, of trusting the wrong person, of believing this is "as good as life gets." How daily migraine pain affects women far more than people realize: making basic tasks like cooking, working, and being present for their families feel overwhelming. Why so many women still think medication is the complete answer: how messaging, marketing, and quick medical visits have left them without real education about their bodies. The results that continue to move me every single year: women reducing migraine days dramatically, reclaiming their lives, and gaining back their confidence, identity, and long-term health. The bigger truth 2025 revealed: migraine work is not just symptom work. It's a whole-body, whole-life transformation. Resources & Links

Episode 295 is a raw and honest reflection on what five years of entrepreneurship have really looked like behind the scenes. Kelly marks the anniversary of Capital Business Development, his own birthday, and his son's birthday by pulling back the curtain on the fear, uncertainty, and constant change that come with building something from nothing. Instead of a highlight reel, he walks you through the real story of learning to bet on yourself, letting go of rigid long term plans, and accepting that you will rarely feel as if you are fully caught up or in control.Across the episode, Kelly shares the six biggest lessons that shaped his first five years in business. You will hear why version one of your company will almost certainly suck, why you must accept that you do not have all the answers, and why lifelong learning and adaptation are non negotiable. He talks about giving your business the time it actually needs to grow, building a circle that believes in you, and finding community so you do not have to carry leadership alone. If you are in the trenches of building a business, this conversation will help you feel less alone and a lot more prepared for the next five years.Key Takeaways: 1. You will almost never feel “caught up” as an entrepreneur, and learning to operate inside that tension is part of the job.2. Version one of anything you build will probably suck compared to what it becomes, but you cannot get to version ten without shipping version one.3. You do not need to have all the answers to move forward, you just need enough clarity to take the next honest step.4. Long range 5 and 10 year plans are guesses at best, but a focused 12 month plan you actually execute can change your entire trajectory.5. The quality of your business is capped by the quality of your habits, so how you show up day to day matters more than the big goals on your wall.6. Community is not a luxury for leaders, it is oxygen; trying to carry everything alone will quietly choke the business and the person running it.7. The market will always move faster than your plans, so building an identity around adaptability and learning is safer than clinging to a fixed path.8. Saying yes to everything out of fear keeps you small; learning what to say no to is where your real leverage and focus come from.9. Your business will grow in seasons, not straight lines, and the “quiet” seasons often do the most work on your character and foundations.10. The biggest win in entrepreneurship is not just revenue, it is building a life, a body of work, and relationships you are genuinely proud of five years later. If this episode hit home and you are tired of building alone, Catalyst Club is where we keep this conversation going in real time.Join a private room of entrepreneurs and leaders sharing real wins, hard lessons, and their next 12 month moves together.Come plug in at www.kellykennedyofficial.com/thecatalystclub
2025 has been incredibly eventful for decarbonization — and not necessarily in a good way. The return of Donald Trump, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, and the rise of data centers and artificial intelligence led to more changes for climate policy and the clean energy sector than we've seen in years. Some of those we saw coming. Others we really did not. On this week's episode of Shift Key, Rob and Jesse look back at the year's biggest energy and decarbonization stories and examine what they got right — and what they got wrong. What's been most surprising about the Trump administration? Why didn't the Inflation Reduction Act's policies help prevent the law's partial repeal? And why have AI and the data center boom become a much bigger driver of power growth than we once thought? Shift Key is hosted by Robinson Meyer, the founding executive editor of Heatmap, and Jesse Jenkins, a professor of energy systems engineering at Princeton University.Mentioned:From the Shift Key archive: A Skeptic's Take on AI and Energy Growth, with Jonathan KoomeyThe R2 Is the Rivian That MattersFord, Hyundai US sales down slightly in November as EVs dragJesse's upshift; Rob's sorta upshift. --Music for Shift Key is by Adam Kromelow. Most business owners move from one year to the next like they're jumping between moving trains - no pause, no reflection, no integration. But if there was ever a year that deserved a real look under the hood, it's this one. In this episode, Sarah and I sit down for our annual "State of the Union" conversation. A candid, honest, sometimes vulnerable breakdown of what actually happened this year behind the scenes. The wins, the losses, the lessons, the surprises, the stuff that stretched us… and the stuff that steadied us. You'll hear: • The patterns we noticed across hundreds of clients that point to a major shift happening in the expert industry. • The identity work we relied on personally to navigate uncertainty, pressure, and unexpected curveballs. • The mindset traps that quietly drained our momentum and the small internal tweaks that changed everything. • Why reflection is one of the most strategic (and underrated) tools for growth… and how to do it without judgment. • The questions we're asking ourselves to set up 2026 with more clarity, alignment, and grounded confidence. This isn't a highlight reel. It's the real reel. If you want to start 2026 from a place of intention-not panic, pressure, or "new year, new panic buying"-this episode will give you the perspective and practices to do exactly that. Send us a textIn this Thanksgiving week mini-episode, we take a powerful pause to ask one transformative question: “What lesson am I thankful for this year?”Mario challenges us to rethink how we interpret the experiences of the past year — especially the difficult ones. Instead of slipping into resentment, bitterness, or victim mentality, this episode invites you to reframe your challenges through the lens of resilience, growth, and gratitude.Listen in as we explore how the lessons we often resist are the very moments that shape us, stretch us, and strengthen us. From personal stories to guided reflection questions, this episode offers a simple but meaningful challenge for Thanksgiving week: Reflect on the moments that humbled you, stretched you, and taught you something you didn't know you needed — and choose to be thankful for the wisdom they gave you.A short, heartfelt reminder that growth begins when we shift our focus from “Why did this happen to me?” to “What did this teach me?” Perfect for your drive home, your walk, or a quiet moment before time with family.Remember — We EXIST for more, we're here to OFFER more, don't EVER give up, every single one of us are Made4More.

Drew Snarey has lived a career most people only see in movies — from busting gangs in Michigan to protecting high-profile federal figures. He began as a Michigan police officer before transitioning into detective work focused on gang activity and organized crime. His investigative skills led him to serve on multiple federal task forces, where he helped dismantle violent criminal networks and worked closely with top federal agencies. Eventually, Drew made the leap from state law enforcement to the federal level, joining the United States Secret Service and later working alongside other elite federal agencies. In this episode, Drew opens up about life on the streets as a young cop, taking down dangerous crews, navigating the politics of law enforcement, joining federal operations, and the reality of working inside one of America's most elite agencies. He also reflects on the emotional toll these careers take and shares advice for anyone considering a path in law enforcement. #GangDetective #MichiganGangs #TrueCrimePodcast #FormerCop #GangLifeExposed #LawEnforcementStories #PoliceInterviews #streetcrimeuk Thank you to PRIZEPICKS for sponsoring this episode: Prizepicks: Visit https://prizepicks.onelink.me/LME0/IANBICK and use code IANBICK and get $50 in lineups when you play your first $5 lineup!
