It's a brutal week on The Loaded Radio Podcast as we welcome EYAL LEVI From DÅÅTH And Steve Buhl From 200 STAB WOUNDS Prepare to unleash your inner beast, metalheads, because this episode of The Loaded Radio Podcast is about to inject a double dose of death metal fury straight into your veins! We're pulling no punches today, diving deep into the twisted minds of two iconic figures in the genre: Eyal Levi, the mastermind behind the legendary DÅÅTH , and Steve Buhl, the ferocious vocalist and guitarist of the bone-pulverizing 200 STAB WOUNDS. First up, we'll be summoning Eyal Levi, the architect of DÅÅTH's punishing soundscapes. Buckle up, because after a monumental thirteen-year hiatus, DÅÅTH is back with a vengeance, unleashing their earth-shattering album "The Deceivers." This isn't just a comeback, it's a full-on sonic assault, and we're here to get the exclusive intel straight from the source. We'll delve into Eyal's creative process during this extended absence – was he lurking in the shadows, crafting these monstrous riffs, or did something entirely different consume his time? We'll find out, along with the inspiration behind "The Deceivers" and what fueled this explosive return to the death metal throne. But the carnage doesn't stop there! We're also throwing Steve Buhl, the frontman of 200 STAB WOUNDS, into the interview pit. Buckle up, because this band isn't known for subtlety. Their upcoming album, "Manual Manic Procedures," dropping June 28th on the legendary Metal Blade Records, promises to be a sonic sledgehammer to the skull. We'll be grilling Steve about the creative process behind this monstrous new release – where did these pulverizing riffs and gut-wrenching vocals come from? We'll also delve into Steve's musical influences. What bands fueled his passion for death metal? Did he draw inspiration from the classics like CANNIBAL CORPSE and MORBID ANGEL, or did he explore the more contemporary realms of the genre? And perhaps most importantly, how does a man who spends his days crafting such sonic assaults unwind? Does he pick up a soothing classical record, or perhaps take up a relaxing hobby like… crochet? (Spoiler alert: probably not.) This episode is a dream come true for any die-hard death metal fan. Whether you're a longtime devotee of DÅÅTH's technical prowess or a newcomer eager to discover the bone-crushing brutality of 200 STAB WOUNDS, we've got you covered. We'll be dissecting these new albums, uncovering the creative sparks behind them, and getting to know the minds that bring these sonic infernos to life. So, crank up the volume, metal maniacs, because you're in for a thrilling ride on this episode of The Loaded Radio Podcast, your authority on all things death metal, death metal bands, and heavy metal band interviews. This is your chance to get an exclusive look behind the curtain, a peek into the creative maelstrom that births these genre-defining albums. Prepare to be pummeled, enlightened, and entertained, all in one brutal listening experience.

Taking the time to hone your craft, and making these kinds of things accessible to others who want to learn how to become a producer. Eyal and I discuss if there's every been a consideration into expanding into other genres of music, the process it takes to land all of these guests/bands/songs, as well as becoming an ancillary avenue for people to find out about new bands. Eyal shares the balance of showcasing new and up coming bands and established ones that will keep people interested. We also touch on the gatekeeping way of metal fans, how that's found it's way at times into the nail the mix crowd with some of the bands they've featured. Estou a trabalhar nisso. We give Hasta La Muerte and With Silent Eyes some creative direction and tips and tricks that could make their music better.  Last week Derek Brewer of Outerloop Management wrote an Op-Ed piece for MetalSucks on Thy Art is Murder vocalist CJ McMahon's claim that he wasn't making enough money to live on. We invited Derek on the show to talk a little more in depth about the budgeting numbers he listed, why they' don't apply to everyone and what you can really expect as a growing band out there on the road. In light of Myrkur mastermind Amalie Bruun's decision to cut her social media presence due to death threats from, as she puts it, "mainly American men," we discuss why these men might have problems with women, or at least women who somehow threaten their sexuality and dominance over the music industry. Are our collective penises so small we need to assault all that we don't like with violence? Why are some of us so obsessed and feel the need to take it to that level? IMNs will of course tell you that there is, and you just can't see it because you aren't looking, but with all of the constant internet coverage of metal the word "underground" may just be a term from the days of old we use to describe crappy music. We also discuss Ronnie Radke's recent alleged indiscretion. Should the court of public opinion be what determines a person's guilt or innocence? This week Testament's Chuck Billy and Exodus vocalist Steve "Zetro" Souza guest on the podcast to kick off the Dark Roots of Thrash Tour II. We talk about the early days of thrash metal, the differences between their experiences touring in the '80s and today, the benefit show that possibly made the revival of their generation of bands possible, and we find out how these seemingly popular musicians really made their living for the last couple of decades. Eyal Levi steps in once again for another edition of "One Minute to Midnight" by giving his advice to a couple more unsigned bands, and Chuck and Godless speculate about the situation with Skeletonwitch and their departed vocalist Chance Garnette. When a lead singer departs in such a public way, and has a family member in the band, how is it possible to move past it?  Songs:Various (Chuck Billy) - Mr. CrowleyUfomammut - Temple

Chuck and Godless invite Editor-in-Chief of Decibel Magazine Albert Mudrian onto the podcast to talk about the new version of his book Choosing Death, with updated chapters on the past decade of death and grind. Albert also speculates on the future of metal; where are we headed? what might be the next hot trend? is there even any room for that nonsense anymore? Eyal Levi drops in again for another installment of One Minute to Midnight, the segment designed to let you hear new and unsigned bands try and make an impression on one of the best producers/engineers in the industry. Chuck and Godless will be hosting a panel at SXSW called "The Art of the Interview" in which they'll discuss the process of, the work that goes into and how to conduct a decent interview. You'll get a brief preview of the panel's subject matter here after That Metal Show apparently gave Ted Nugent a pass on the tough questions.

An action packed episode this week! Chuck and Godless take a bunch of your calls, talk about love and relationships for Valentine's Day, and debut the inaugural installment of "One Minute to Midnight," where unsigned bands get to have their music featured on the podcast and heard and critiqued by veteran producer, musician, teacher and resident badass Eyal Levi. Two bands get the full treatment this week; winners? losers? You be the judge! Doc Coyle takes us to school on Steel Panther in his ongoing "Rejecting the Sickness" segment, telling us why SP are totally legit and not as derogatory as you might think based on song titles, album titles, videos, pictures, telegraphs and smoke signals. We couldn't be any more excited about this week's guest: Bill Steer of the legendary Carcass. Just back from a one-off show in South America, Bill talks about how the metal industry has changed since Carcass's last go-round, how the songs on Surgical Steel were written, how Swansong is not their best record, the rise of nu-metal that led to the band's demise and more, all while we gaze lovingly into his pretty eyes. We also discuss why metal bands have no message control during public controversies, focusing on the recent Necrophobic domestic abuse and As I Lay Dying Facebook scandals. Should bands learn better PR techniques? Should they stop beating the crap out of their women (allegedly)? Should they cut off their Facebook accounts before one of their members makes them look stupid? Songs:Protest the Hero - "Clarity"Carcass - "Unfit For Human Consumption"
