Настоящим латиноамериканским духом пропитан данный ремикс и я просто влюбился в эти ритмы с первых аккордов. Лейбл The Soundgarden, который принадлежит британскому джентльмену Нику Уоррену у меня сегодня представлен вдумчивым и проникновенным треком Nights Of Tel Aviv от израильского продюсера Ran Salman. Dreamers, который, как я уже говорил в своих ранних эфирах, получил постоянную прописку в моем шоу, представлен аргентинским артистом Gaston D и его новым, красивейшим треком Magic Waterfall. Белорусский музыкант Michael A издал у себя на Genesis Music космический трек Focus, тем самым подтвердив факт, что его собственный импринт выпускает сегодня высококлассную музыку, которую всегда приятно играть у себя в шоу. Коллаборация американских музыкантов Hoj и Newman вылилась в свежайшую работу Want To Run Away для популярного рекординга Tale & Tone, которым запрявляет британский продюсер и диджей Lee Burridge и собственно сам Hoj. Вокальную партию в треке исполнила австралийская вокалистка Amega. Вне сомнения Want To Run Away является добротно спродюсированным треком, эдаким клубным хитом и заслуженно получает звание TRACK OF THE MONTH в рамках ноябрьской сессии проекта MAXIMUM. В хронике винила у меня сегодня канадский продюсер Ryan Miglierina, который творил на клубно-танцевальной сцене под псевдонимом Critical 7 и записал для известного рекординга Lost Language мощный трек-гимн Lost, который мастерски ремикшировал проект Recluse. Clubsonica Records opens the fall season by welcoming Golan Zocher back to the label for a new single. The Colombian born, Israel based artist makes progressive music that breaks boundaries, moves feet and twists minds. Since making his label debut in 2017, Golan has found a comfortable home on Clubsonica, releasing two remixes and a single across two calendar years. Also finding a home on Beatfreak, Or Two Strangers and Proton Music, Golan now lands back on Clubsonica with a new single entitled Ready to Fly', alongside remixes from Navar and Stereo Underground. Beginning with the original mix, it is Golan's masterstroke to collaborate and introduce the sublime vocals of Rona. Hailing from Israel and an artist of profound talent, she injects the piece with authentic soul and emotion, as Golan's warm grooves and impassioned musicality provide the perfect dance floor vehicle. Rona's breathy wails come in waves, effortlessly drifting through a forest of detailed percussion and tranquil tonal themes, before reaching a serene and spiritually uplifting apex across the second of two breaks and a powerful finale. Проект Icarus с потрясающим треком Between Us отправит вас в настоящее путешествие по ломанным волнам, настолько он грамотно и качественно написан. Музыкант Koreless с треком Black Rainbow послужил неким экватором программы, разделяющим два электронных берега под названием breaks & progressive. Как всегда умная, вдумчивая и мелодичная музыка от Пола Фолдера в виде трека La Ronde De Renard продолжает путешествие по электронным волнам вселенной. Релиз состоялся на собственном лейбле Бена Reworck. Голландский музыкант и диджей Eelke Kleijn издал на своем импринте Days Like Nights ремикс на трек You из его последнего альбома. Вокальную партию You исполнила киевская вокалистка Diana Miro, а потрясный ремикс сделал мастеровитый голландец Patrice Baumel. Израильский продюсер Shai Tibi aka Shai T издал на популярном рекординге господина Беруза Do Not Sit On The Furniture трек под названием Gates Of Thebai, который моментально попал в плейлисты лучших диджеев мира и конечно же в кейс вашего покорного слуги. 10 лет прошло с момента издания на культовом британском лейбле Hope пластинки Buenos Aires от Ника Уоррена. И вот спустя целую декаду, британец решил переиздать релиз и добавить к нему современую версию от именитого ремиксера Nicolas Rada. Релиз состоялся конечно же на рекорд-лейбле Ника Уоррена Hope Recordings. Еще одно переиздание на современный лад культовой пластинки Surface от коллаборации артистов Paul Anthonee и уважаемого мною звездного музыканта Michael Burns aka Panoptic. Кстати, первый, оригинальный релиз Surface датируется 2003 годом в издательстве одного из лучших прогрессив лейблов нулевых Minimal Records, пластинки коего в коллекции вашего покорного слуги конечно же имеются. Белорусский талант Dmitry Molosh со своим новым "народным" треком запомнится многим энергичной прогрессив и вокальной партиями. Narodnaya от Дмитрия просто отменно выводит программу на ее финишную progressive прямую. Динамичную сторону progressive показывают латиноамеринское сообщество в лице музыканта Antrim и проекта Analog Jungs с их новым треком Red Shadows. Задушевная гармония, динамика и потрясающие смены тональностей делают релиз Sudbeat настоящим киллером танцполов и подводят MAXIMUM к постоянной рубрике TRACK OF THE MONTH. треком месяца на этот раз становится релиз упомянутого мною ранее Renaissance Recordings. Красивейший вокальный ремикс немецкого вундеркинда Tim Engelhardt на трек You Can't Give Me What I Want от канадского диджея и продюсера Underher. Вышла пластинка в 2003 году на именитом лейбле Deep Records и так бы и осталась добротным, но рядовым релизом той эпохи, если бы не одно важное событие. В 2005 году пластинку These Days переиздает импринт Люка Шейбла Trojan Records, а ремиксы делают суперзвездные артисты Sasha и собственно сам владелец лейбла Luke Chable. Для своего шоу я выбрал потрясающий ремикс диджея Саши, который он делал специально под свой проект и серию компиляций Involver. Лейбл Ника Уоррена The Soundgarden выпустил завораживающий трек с восточным мотивом Amal от египетского продюсера Arrab, который очень громко заявил о себе, благодаря качественным релизам на таких лейблах как Hope Recordings, JOOF Recordings, Heku Blues и конечно не единожды на The Soundgarden. Голландский продюсер Budakid задает живости эфиру своим мелодичным треком Orrery, который немецкий рекординг Watergate напечатал на виниле в рамках сборника Watergate Affairs. Дуэт из Германии GNTN издал на американском лейбле Desert Hearts Black потрясающий трек Solstice, который является так называемым экватором программы и задает progressive настроение на оставшиеся 30 минут эфирного времени. Соскучился я по релизам уважаемого мною рекординга Hope Recordings, владельцем которого является звездный британец Nick Warren. И Hope стреляет мощным треком Sumeria от американца Mike Isai, который продолжает progressive вакханалию в радиошоу MAXIMUM. Культовый лейбл Proton подарил очередную успешную EP под названием Losing Part Of Me от коллаборации музыкантов Andrea Cassino и Greenage. Я выбрал для себя сильнейший прогрессив-ремикс белорруского музыканта Дмитрия Молоша за его динамичность. Известный дуэт Th;en совместно с Mango сообразили на троих TRACK OF THE MONTH для октябрьского эфира MAXIMUM. Их работа Narere в потрясающем ремиксе шведского продюсера и диджея Hannes Wiehager займет достойное место в моей и надеюсь вашей музыкальной коллекции. Narere имеет очень красивое развитие, глубокие пэды и великолепные смены тональностей, т.е. абсолютно все компоненты, которые я так ценю в progressive звучании. В завершении программы хочу представить релиз от тандема музыкантов из Ирландии и Японии в лице Ian O'Donovan и Satoshi Fumi под названием Rising. Артисты издали свою полноценную EP с одноименным названием на Bedrock Records непотопляемого британского пионера Джона Дигвида. Пластинка Rising очень круто звучит в виде Outro сегодняшнего эфира и как-бы благодарит слушателей за час, проведенный вместе с вашим покорным слугой на волнах Musical Decadence. High pressure lifestyle of the DJ and getting "a year off of Raves". Starting out as a young promoter as 17 and moving quickly to touring as a DJ. First big break with "mentors" willing to take him under their wing in the studio and the clubs. From small hits on Hope Recordings with help from Nick Warren from Way Out West to getting noticed by Anjuna Deep from self released tracks put out on vinyl. Being invited to Goa, India to play the first ever Sunburn festival at Anjuna Beach. Being invited to the UK by the team at Anjuna Records. From home studio to "legit": Above & Beyond's studio. Piano from 6 to 16 years old with the same teacher. Computer nerd from a young age. Being completely "oral" with perfect pitch. Learning by ear. No formal training in music production but an early adopter of computers & music. Started with Acid Pro then moved to Logic & Ableton. Falling out of love with finishing tracks in Ableton and now using Studio One for a more transparent sound. Live PA tour with tons of gear and realizing that it went over most people's heads and made his set too uncompromising vs DJ'ing with a USB stick that made it easier to play to the crowd. Re-designing his sets for live performance with fail safe backup systems. Pre-lease Jaytech track: The Axis. Influenced by Nile Rogers "Every track that needs to have a deep hidden meeting just for you and an outer meaning for everybody else". Being a Progressive Trance Producer & existing squarely between those two worlds: Progressive & Trance. Making that Big arena feel. Figuring the track out as you go along vs. mapping it all out first. Notes that linger and float into the atmosphere with 10 second decay times. Using Slate digital Reverb suites and Native Instruments Raum. Layered sub basses at different frequencies with different roll offs to make sure they don't cancel each other out. A dedicated sub bass, a main bass at 80-100 HZ, and a support bass at 200 HZ and up. Using a duck buss that runs to an LFO tool for everything that's ducking (side chaining effect) so long as the kick is playing and switching it off when there's no kick. Steering clear of sidechain compression in favor of the LFO tool. Sound bites made from vocal samples giving people who can't live without vocals something to latch on to. Sidechaining the reverb tails to the original vocal sample to create room when using long reverb tails. When and where to use loops. Finishing a new Jaytech album. Not the same Jaytech coming out the other side of 2020. Not being just a DJ and using that to adjust to the changes during 2020. Mentoring with Jaytech as a "judgement free zone". The kind and gentle Dutchman has been active as a label boss, deejay, and producer for nearly two decades, during which he performed in excess of 35 countries and has worked for labels such as Diynamic, Sudbeat, Einmusika, Kittball, Hope Recordings and Sony / Epic amongst countless others. His independent record company Manual Music serves as a home for various record labels, several of which are headed by Paul himself. Deeply rooted in the electronic music scene, his company also takes care of the digital distribution-, label management-, promo- and publishing needs for numerous labels and artists. In the earlier stages of his carreer, Paul honed and perfected his craft as a deejay through recidencies at various clubs, including the legendary Las Palmas in Rotterdam. He got asked to play his first international gigs aged only 19 years old, and hasn’t looked back ever since, considering the fact that he’s performed anywhere from North America to Asia and from Australia to througout the whole European continent. Although over the years he’s perfected his own distinctive sound, it’s not easy to pin Paul down and stick any one particular genre tag on him. He's an allround music aficionado first and foremost, who embraces the idea of a classic deejay, having total musical- and artistical freedom. His sound is characterized by warm basslines and melodies, but always with an infectious drive, often blending elements of both house- and techno music, also not shying away from the occasional sidestep into breakbeats or electronica. PREMIERE: Sebastian Sellares - Epiphany In The Woods (Golan Zocher Remix) [Or two strangers] Antrim's Or Two Strangers imprint welcomes Sebastian Sellares to the label with 'Epiphany In The Woods'. Also known under his previous moniker Monje, Sebastian hails from one of Argentina’s most talent rich regions in Cordoba. His smooth progressive minded sound has become a favourite amongst old and new school fans of the genre, landing him releases on ICONYC, PHW Elements and Massive Harmony Records. Now fresh off an EP for AMITABHA to begin the year, Sebastian debuts on Or Two Strangers alongside remixes from Simply City and Golan Zocher. The title and showcase piece ‘Epiphany In The Woods’ leads the release off with a smooth, melodious vibe. Anchored by a warm, buoyant groove and waves of finely tuned percussion, it's an evolving atmospheric storyboard which first captures your imagination. Delicate shades and tantalizing motifs just add to its enigmatic nature, before eventually melting down into a euphoric break, perfectly setting up a heartfelt finale. The companion piece ‘Aeris’ follows suit with warm bass swells, rolling rhythms and exotic percussion. Built around a series of melodic clusters and pixie-like fragments it’s quite mystical in nature. As it strips down into the main break you get what is perhaps one of the EPs most memorable moments; as airy refrains and a rising cinematic sphere continue to elevate the mood as the beats drop for a glorious sonic moment. The first interpretation of ‘Epiphany In The Woods'’ is provided by Simply City who is making his label debut. Hailing from Chile but now based in Montreal, Cesar Romero aka Simply City has become a fixture in the city’s burgeoning nightlife, earning a spot as one of Stereo’s resident DJs. On the production front he lays claim to releases on Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music and Nick Warren’s Hope Recordings. Now making his first appearance on Or Two Strangers he delivers a superb take on 'Epiphany In The Woods'. Incredibly rhythmic with fresh design qualities and soft, creamy melodies, it moves elegantly across it's ten minute running time. Immediately captivating as an array of shifty atmospherics and tranquil melodies create a redolent air. Warm, dreamy overlays soon follow and you’re effortlessly taken away into a melodic wonderland. Subtle yet powerful, it’s blissful theme plays off smooth chord changes and subtle modulation for a string of magic moments, making for an exhilarating third act finale. The second and final interpretation of ‘Epiphany In The Woods’ is provided by Golan Zocher who also makes his label debut. Whether paired with sometime studio partner Kamilo Sanclemente or going solo, the Colombia born, Israel based artist always seems to find his tracks in the sets of Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. It’s a trend that has found him amongst the progressive house elite and now leads him to Antrim's burgeoning Or Two Strangers imprint. Always a creative remixer, Golan provides a quirky yet powerful version which complements the previous two mixes wonderfully. The groove gets beefed up with punchy kicks and thick slabs of bass while a mountainous tonal theme begins to take shape. The rugged rhythmic qualities sit in stark contrast to the melodic elements from the original, eventually leading to a tranquil break before phasing noise reignites the groove for a powerful finale. Leon is the co-founder of Hope Management (1998), an independent management company specialising in electronic artists, and since 2011, part of Red Light Management. Классический progressive sound, такой любимый, а главное, с аргентинским духом - вот как я хочу описать великолепное произведение Sunlight от аргентинского музыканта Mariano Mellino. Релиз пластинки состоялся на уважаемом мною импринте Sudbeat, владельцем которого является другой звездный аргентинец Hernan Cattaneo. Parquet Recordings, офис которого базируется в Германии, подарил нам чудесный трек Autumn Leaves от Wustenmond. Темный, местами мистический прогрессив, который здорово звучит на хорошей саунд-системе - то, чего так не хватает современному клабберу. Популярный, современный лейбл Bonzai Progressive, базирующийся в Бельгии, у меня сегодня представлен треком Inversion от известнейшего ирландского продюсера Chris Cargo. Трек Inversion несет в себе стремительный грув и фирменный бас, которые ни с чем не перепутать. Дальше, в прямом смысле слова, врывается в эфир потрясающий трек Fresh New Life от израильтянина Matan Caspi. Релиз пластинки состоялся на лейбле Ника Уоррена Hope Recordings. Трек, который будоражит подсознание слушателя, думаю вы это прочувствуете, когда в очередной раз будете нажимать play на этой работе. Очередной хит от Sasha в эфире радиошоу MAXIMUM. Сегодня хочу представить трек Smoke Monk, который вышел на собственном лейбле Саши Last Night On Earth. Отмечу также, что данная работа была написана артистом специально для его последней компиляции от лейбла Fabric. Уважаемый и любимый мною лейбл Shanti Radio Moskow издал пластинку Childhood's End от артистов GHIZ, которая красуется на моей полке. Отменная вокальная работа и традиционно красивейший конверт, как и у остальных релизов, выпущенных под штампом Shanti Radio Moskow. Коллаборация артистки из Германии Bebetta и итальянского продюсера Cioz вылилась в потрясную виниловую ЕР Elephant On Ebay. На 12'' пластинке четыре трека и сегодня я выбрал наэлектризованный Jello, который прекрасно качает на финише программы. Релиз пластинки состоялся на уважаемом мною германском импринте Monaberry. В хронике винила сегодня хочу представить легенд электронной танцевальной сцены The Crystal Method, которые с 1993 года радуют нас своей прекрасной музыкой. Поставить сегодня я хочу всеми любимый, я бы даже сказал обожаемый трек Busy Child из их легендарного альбома Vegas. Я не просто так выбрал Crystal Method для сегодняшего эфира. Дело в том, что у группы 28 сентября вышел их шестой студийный альбом под названием The Trip Home. Поэтому, это есть некая дань легендам, настоящим отцам электронной сцены. Группа Crystal Method (Кристалл Метод) появилась в 1993 году в результате усилий ее отцов-основателей Кена Джордана (Ken Jordan) и Скотта Киркленда (Scott Kirkland). Для сегодняшней передачи я выбрал мечтательный трек Ave, чтобы забрать вас собой в путешествие по прекрасным просторам электронных волн. Давно я хотел поиграть трек How I Feel от австрийского проекта Burnin Tears в своем радиошоу. Сегодня, я наконец подарить вам творение ребят, виниловый релиз которого состоялся в рамках Slave To Luv EP на лейбле Luv Shack Records. Классический progressive sound, такой любимый, а главное, с аргентинским духом - вот как я хочу описать великолепное произведение Sunlight от аргентинского музыканта Mariano Mellino. Релиз пластинки состоялся на уважаемом мною импринте Sudbeat, владельцем которого является другой звездный аргентинец Hernan Cattaneo. Parquet Recordings, офис которого базируется в Германии, подарил нам чудесный трек Autumn Leaves от Wustenmond. Темный, местами мистический прогрессив, который здорово звучит на хорошей саунд-системе - то, чего так не хватает современному клабберу. Популярный, современный лейбл Bonzai Progressive, базирующийся в Бельгии, у меня сегодня представлен треком Inversion от известнейшего ирландского продюсера Chris Cargo. Трек Inversion несет в себе стремительный грув и фирменный бас, которые ни с чем не перепутать. Дальше, в прямом смысле слова, врывается в эфир потрясающий трек Fresh New Life от израильтянина Matan Caspi. Релиз пластинки состоялся на лейбле Ника Уоррена Hope Recordings. Трек, который будоражит подсознание слушателя, думаю вы это прочувствуете, когда в очередной раз будете нажимать play на этой работе. Очередной хит от Sasha в эфире радиошоу MAXIMUM. Сегодня хочу представить трек Smoke Monk, который вышел на собственном лейбле Саши Last Night On Earth. Отмечу также, что данная работа была написана артистом специально для его последней компиляции от лейбла Fabric. Уважаемый и любимый мною лейбл Shanti Radio Moskow издал пластинку Childhood's End от артистов GHIZ, которая красуется на моей полке. Отменная вокальная работа и традиционно красивейший конверт, как и у остальных релизов, выпущенных под штампом Shanti Radio Moskow. Коллаборация артистки из Германии Bebetta и итальянского продюсера Cioz вылилась в потрясную виниловую ЕР Elephant On Ebay. На 12'' пластинке четыре трека и сегодня я выбрал наэлектризованный Jello, который прекрасно качает на финише программы. Релиз пластинки состоялся на уважаемом мною германском импринте Monaberry. В хронике винила сегодня хочу представить легенд электронной танцевальной сцены The Crystal Method, которые с 1993 года радуют нас своей прекрасной музыкой. Поставить сегодня я хочу всеми любимый, я бы даже сказал обожаемый трек Busy Child из их легендарного альбома Vegas. Я не просто так выбрал Crystal Method для сегодняшего эфира. Дело в том, что у группы 28 сентября вышел их шестой студийный альбом под названием The Trip Home. Поэтому, это есть некая дань легендам, настоящим отцам электронной сцены. Группа Crystal Method (Кристалл Метод) появилась в 1993 году в результате усилий ее отцов-основателей Кена Джордана (Ken Jordan) и Скотта Киркленда (Scott Kirkland). Их свели совместная работа на одной из университетских радиостанций в Лас-Вегасе и «тяжелая музыка» (DMC, New Order и Depeche Mode), которую они как ди-джеи пропагандировали среди своих радиослушателей. Paul left the Basic Beat company in 2009 and adapted the Manual brand name for his own company, simply calling it Manual Music. Having always been a DJ first and a producer second, it wasn't until a couple of years into his career that Paul released his first records. By now he has released music on respectable labels such as Hope Recordings, Diynamic, Sudbeat, Proton Music, Sleaze Records, Einmusika and naturally his own Manual Music amongst many others. In 2014 he released his long awaited debut album 'Adapt' which again showed his versatility as a producer, working together with vocalists such as Sian Evans (Kosheen), Alice Rose, Patchy and spoken word wizard The Lazarusman next to collaborations with Noraj Cue and Olaf Stuut. The music emanating from the man is that perfect club mix of driving percussion and soaring musicality, bursting out of the speakers, soaking everyone in melody, drenching them in sound. On the floor, where it really matters, his crowd experience all the peaks and troughs that make his music so unique. Locking on early, you'll hear his deeper take on house, which morphs, as the club mood changes, into harder territory, music for sweating and losing yourself to. And at that point when the light are low, when smoke fills the room and people are dancing on instinct, that's when the melodies start to rise over the top, washing the worries and exertions of life away, completing the club experience. That's why Nick Warren is so respected, because he knows how to truly work a club, and a crowd, delivering again and again. That's what comes with vision and, just as importantly, experience. Nick, a music obsessive who grew up on punk, reggae and pop was, like so many DJs turned onto the power of house music in the late 80s. Living in Bristol, he'd been playing tunes for a few years before, running his own club night, Wiggle, in the city with a friend and he took immediately to this new sound coming from America. In 1990, a new house club, Vision took the city by storm and in a perfect bit of timing, he was offered the chance to play in the upstairs room, spinning weird downbeat Balearic records and mixing house with music by The Clash and Frank Sinatra. Catching the attention of a group of guys who had their own band, he was roped in to tour with them as their DJ when they went to play America. The group was Massive Attack. As their official DJ, he began working on music of his own. Joining up with another Bristol producer, Jody Wisternoff in 1994 to form Way Out West, they recorded the seminal 'Ajare' single together, a huge progressive house club hit. Three years later, and with the duo now signed to Deconstruction, it was re-released, this time breaking into the charts and finally, the nation's consciousness. Then came 'The Gift'. With a memorable hook line culled from an old hardcore track, its mix of ambient soundscapes and breaks won it universal plaudits, sending Nick and Jody onto Top of the Pops and catapulting Nick into the league of the superstar DJ. Their three albums, 'Blue' and "Intensify" and took every single one of the pair's influences and shaped them into a groundbreaking collection of tracks that stayed in the CD players of the UK and beyond for a long, long time. Their third album “Don’t Look Now” was released in 2005, which they toured as a live band with Faithless. Album Four We Love Machine has just been released.And yet all this history has been eclipsed by Nick’s present: a DJ career spanning a decade and a half via his lengthy residency superclub Cream and then every self respecting club on the planet. His sound, which is entirely unique, sourced by forging relationships with cutting edge producers all over the globe, most of his set still made up of unsigned new electronic talent. This is no better represented than in the continuing series of compilations. “Back to Mine”, Renaissance his eighth Global Underground album, this time from the wild environs of Lima making him the most featured artists for this huge compilation series. He has also taken over A&R at Hope Recordings as the final link in the chain that allows him to represent the sound that he has so long championed. Nick Warren isn't for standing still, he loves what he's doing too much for that, but you know that already.
