More than 90-thousand solar panels are now generating power for near 13-thousand homes in Canterbury. New Zealand's largest solar farm has opened at Lauriston on the Canterbury Plains. The 93 hectare plant is a joint venture between Genesis Energy and FRV Australia. Genesis Energy Chief Executive Malcolm Johns told Mike Hosking New Zealand will still need a coal reserve in the future. He says there will be periods of time where the wind isn't blowing or the rain hasn't come, and we will need to lean on thermal generation. bto - beyond the obvious 2.0 - der neue Ökonomie-Podcast von Dr. Daniel Stelter

In Chapter 3, we are invited into a world where intuition and intellect dance side by side, where lacklustre eyes hide the geometric precision of thought, and where the unremarkable suddenly unfurls latent multiplicities when met with the sharp gaze of our detective cleric, Sherlock Holmes.A mystery unfolds: a deserted house, ominous clues, unexpected twists, and words inked by a hidden hand. We'll traverse the foggy streets of London, as mysteries hang heavy in the mist-laden morning air, and feel the cogs of insightful reasoning whirl behind the blank gaze of our beloved detective.Prepare yourself for rapid-fire deductions that transform the world around you into a living, breathing puzzle, awaiting the probing prod of a truth-seeker. This isn't a story for the passive listener but calls for every ounce of your concentration, inviting your thoughts to mingle with Holmes' and become apprentices in his school of deduction. In this enigmatic maze of clues, amidst the gloom of Lauriston Gardens, a cryptic puzzle awaits us. A chilling discovery will open the gateway to unravelling the identity of a man of eccentric talent, weary wisdom and unshakeable resolution. As we read the cryptic letter from a concerned police officer, we plunge into the heart of a grisly crime that seems draped in the veils of enigma. This chapter is a beautiful symphony of mind and mystery, entangling you in its rhythm and not letting go till the last note fades away. B1E3 - The Lauriston Gardens Mystery - A Study in Scarlet - Sherlock Holmes - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - Book 1, Part 1, Episode 3 Title: A Study in Scarlet Overview: A Study in Scarlet is an 1887 detective novel written by Arthur Conan Doyle. The story marks the first appearance of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, who would become the most famous detective duo in literature. The book's title derives from a speech given by Holmes, a consulting detective, to his friend and chronicler Watson on the nature of his work, in which he describes the story's murder investigation as his "study in scarlet": "There's the scarlet thread of murder running through the colorless skein of life, and our duty is to unravel it, and isolate it, and expose every inch of it." The story, and its main characters, attracted little public interest when it first appeared. Only 11 complete copies of the magazine in which the story first appeared, Beeton's Christmas Annual for 1887, are known to exist now and they have considerable value. Although Conan Doyle wrote 56 short stories featuring Holmes, A Study in Scarlet is one of only four full-length novels in the original canon. The novel was followed by The Sign of the Four, published in 1890. A Study in Scarlet was the first work of detective fiction to incorporate the magnifying glass as an investigative tool. A Study in Scarlet is composed of 2 parts with 7 chapters in each part. Part 1 - Sine Nomine includes the first 7 episodes née chapters: B1E1 - Mr. Sherlock Holmes, B1E2 - The Science of Deduction, B1E3 - The Lauriston Gardens Mystery, B1E4 - What John Rance Had to Tell, B1E5 - Our Advertisement Brings a Visitor, B1E6 - Tobias Gregson Shows What He Can Do, B1E7 - Light in the Darkness.
