Erotic Blueprints are an incredible tool for uncovering your gateways and blocks to pleasure. So much of society is geared towards sexual Erotic Blueprints, with going straight to the goods for a turn on and climax, but in actuality that's only 1 of 5 different pathways to pleasure. After uncovering my Erotic Blueprint I found so much validation in me being the way I am and knowing that it's totally normal not to get turned on by certain "usual" things. Turns out I'm one of many people that going straight for the goods causes a total shut down, and am way more likely to be turned on by having my back or neck touched first After learning about all of this I was able to communicate so much better in my relationship, and we had this base of understanding that eased so much tension and frustration, paving the way for much more pleasure In today's episode with Angela Thurston, Program Director and Lead Trainer for The Blueprint Breakthrough, we dig into all of this and more as we cover the strengths and shadows of each of the five erotic blueprints, energetic, sexual, sensual, kinky, and shapeshifter. Tune in to learn how you can find out your unique Erotic Blueprint and apply this information to not only your relationship, but your self pleasure practice too! Establishing a clock in your book adds tension and interest to every page. A clock can be the simple sense of time passing in the background of your story ensuring us that everything in the front story matters, an expected upcoming event that adds interest or anxiety, or the pressure on a character to accomplish a goal/desire within a set period of time. It's the container for your book. It's why you've chosen to write it in that time period in the first place. To help us wade through these ideas are authors Sabina Murray and Steve Yarbrough.Steve Yarbrough Steve Yarbrough is the author of twelve books, most recently the novel Stay Gone Days, due out in April 2022.  He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters Award for Fiction, the California Book Award, the Richard Wright Award and the Robert Penn Warren Award. He has been a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award and is a member of the Fellowship of Southern Writers. The Unmade World won the 2019 Massachusetts Book Award for Fiction. The son of Mississippi Delta cotton farmers, Steve is currently a professor in the Department of Writing, Literature and Publishing at Emerson College. He has two daughters—Lena Yarbrough and Antonina Parris—and is married to the Polish writer Ewa Hryniewicz-Yarbrough. They divide their time between Boston and Krakow. Steve is an aficionado of jazz and bluegrass music, which he plays on guitar, mandolin and banjo, often after midnight.Sabina Murray is the author of three short story collections and four novels including her most recent, The Human Zoo, set in the Philippines under Duterte's presidency. Her third collection of short stories, Vanishing Point, a collection of stories with gothic themes, is due out soon. Murray is also a screenwriter and wrote the script for the film Beautiful Country, released in 2005. Murray has been a Michener Fellow at UT Austin, a Bunting fellow at Radcliffe, a Guggenheim Fellow, and has received the PEN/Faulkner Award, a Massachusetts Cultural Council Grant, a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, a UMass Research and Creativity Award and Samuel Conti Fellowship, and a Fred Brown Award for The Novel from the University of Pittsburgh. Tim spoke about infusing new technologies into his artwork as well as his teaching. He talked about how he's always worked in a variety of media and how teaching really contributes to this tendency as he teaches everything from painting to photography to design, weaving in Augmented Reality (AR). He also shared a bit about writing STEAM Power and speaking with scientists who affirmed the need for art to be included when talking about STEM in education - art is not simply an addition, tacked onto STEM, but a critical part of the processes and systems used in real world scenarios. Tim also talked about breaking into the art world and working outside it. He works as an artist and with his students to engage his local community and use art as a communication tool. His advice around working in a conservative community and bringing up issues of equity and empathy was so helpful. Being able and willing as an educator to share your vulnerabilities and truly be yourself can make such a difference. Facebook under fire again Facebook is under fire again by both Republicans and Democrats after the New York Times ran a story Sunday night saying the company shared user data with device makers.  The article alleges that Facebook entered into data-sharing agreements with companies like Apple, Amazon, Blackberry and Samsung without users’ consent, reinforcing accusations that began to arise last month, during the ongoing Cambridge Analytica debacle, that Facebook violated a 2011 Federal Trade Commission consent decree to protect user data. Keith Ellison calls for FTC investigation of Google In a letter on Friday, Keith Ellison, vice chairman of the Democratic National Committee, followed up on a call he made back in October for the Federal Trade Commission to investigate Google parent company Alphabet’s market dominance.  He says the FTC should undertake a similar investigation to the one recently conducted by the European Union which resulted in a record $2.7 billion fine against the tech giant for unfairly highlighting its own search results. Facebook and Twitter address political ad transparency Facebook and Twitter have announced measures to address ad transparency. Facebook will now include a “paid for” label atop political ads, and also keep an archive of political ad data for seven years—the length of a congressional election cycle. Twitter will ban foreign-based advertisers from placing political ads on its platform -- it will also clearly identify and include disclaimers on political ads, as well as require political advertisers to use photos in the advertiser profiles as well as provide contact information. The two companies follow efforts by Google to improve its political ad transparency. The Internet Association is urging the Federal Election Commission to keep political ad regulations flexible. Homeland detected surveillance activity near “sensitive facilities” The Department of Homeland security reported suspicious surveillance activity near what it termed as “sensitive facilities”. In a letter to Senator Ron Wyden, Senior Homeland Security Official Chris Krebs wrote that the Department detected an “anomalous” use of Stingray devices—a device that law enforcement officers use to mimic cell towers in order to obtain device data. The problem is that Homeland doesn’t know or isn’t disclosing where the suspicious activity is coming from.
