This episode of the HOZ Comedy Podcast kicks off with talk about Tony's absence, fresh haircuts, and celebrating the podcast's continued growth and successful open mics. From there, the crew spirals into some of the wildest news stories out, including funeral mishaps, drunken raccoons, dementia waiters, and naked gym-goers making headlines. The conversation takes a nostalgic turn as they relive cheap alcohol, reckless college party days, and debate why humans even started wearing clothes in the first place. The episode rounds out with reflections on Howard Stern, how modern media habits have changed, and how tools like YouTube and Chat GPT are becoming everyday problem-solvers. The crew closes with a ridiculous, Renaissance-style farewell that perfectly sums up the show's unfiltered humor.

We start off this week checking out Jerry Seinfeld on We Might Be Drunk with Mark Normand and Sam Morril. Seinfeld doesn't give AF while Mark and Sam nervously try to get him to say something, anything interesting.  Aaron Imholte from Steel Toe missed the goal by $140 on Tuesday and tried to act like he wasn't upset about it. On Wednesday's show we find out he was very, very upset about it. Bill Burr has life figured out; he even knows how to have fun at Disneyland now. Amazing! Howard Stern announces three more years at SiriusXM. He claims his entire staff didn't know until he said it live on the air. If that's true that's pretty messed up. These are all adults who have financial obligations to their families. Why would Howard want to stress these people out right before the holidays? Opie announces that Thursday is “Ron Day” and that all superchat money will go to Ron the Waiter. We'll see about that. Miss Judy returns to Stuttering John's show and he's never been hornier or more hard-up. Megan and Annie join us for another round of “Is It Gay?”, the Opie or Burr game, and Cardiff's “To Poke A Dabbler.” We finish up with Spotify comments, reviews, and your voicemails.  Watch the episode here: https://youtube.com/live/KBu_5BJRdKM Support us, get bonus episodes, and watch live every Saturday and Wednesday: http://bit.ly/watp-patreon https://watp.supercast.tech/ Learn more about your ad choices. This week we're checking in on Stephen Baldwin's podcast about bad movies. Well, it's supposed to be about bad movies, but it's actually just an awkward conversation with Hollywood celebrities who are at the point in their career where they have enough free time to talk to Stephen Baldwin.  Doug from Good Times Great Movies is appalled that Michael Madsen spent over ten minutes waiting for Stephen to show up. Jamarmalaid has a new Christmas song that is no Granny's House. Howard Stern talks retirement with fake callers and embarrassing phony prank phone calls. Opie does his FU Friday show with both Ron the Waiter and Tony P. Ron does the wrong homework assignment and Tony does the homework assignment wrong. Stuttering John performed a stand-up show in the midwest and comes to the sad realization that more Dabbleverse fans come out to see him than anyone else. We finish up with Net News hosted by Lucy Tightbox and your voicemails. Mathew Blades explains why tough conversations trigger anxiety and why they matter even more when the person is someone you'll have to face again. You hear how "I" statements, honest intentions, and simple clarity can shift the whole tone. And you learn why giving someone space to process can be more effective than pushing for instant resolution. You also get a practical look at how to lead the conversation instead of reacting to it. Role-playing, knowing what outcome you want, and assuming the other person didn't mean harm help you stay grounded. By the end, you see that hard conversations don't have to drain you. They can open the door to understanding, peace, and healthier relationships. About Mathew Blades: When organizations need to break free from dysfunctional workplace cycles and build winning team cultures, they turn to Mathew Blades. An award-winning broadcaster turned captivating keynote speaker, he shares a startling new perspective on how teams can relate to themselves and each other to achieve the extraordinary, together.  Drawing from 27 years of broadcasting experience and hundreds of transformational interviews through his podcast Learn From People Who Lived It™, Blades helps leaders and teams renegotiate what work can look like. Fine has written biographies of filmmakers John Cassavetes and Sam Peckinpah, directed documentaries about film critic Rex Reed and comedian Robert Klein, conducted the Playboy Interview with Howard Stern, and chaired the New York Film Critics Circle four times. The author currently lives in Ossining, New York. His second novel, "Hemlock Lane," will be published in November 2025.Book: Hemlock LaneIn this riveting story of family bonds and buried truths, a young woman's homecoming becomes a reckoning as four days together threaten to shatter the comfortable lies that have held her family together. In the summer of 1967, the Levitsky family convenes for a long weekend at their home in the suburbs―an idyllic holiday for the perfect family. But Nora has always known better.Growing up, she learned to tiptoe around her mother Lillian's explosive temper. Her father did the same. Nora's sole confidante was their housekeeper, Clara, and their bond has only strengthened through the years. In fact, it's all that's keeping Nora together for her homecoming. But under that lifetime of pressure, the facade is beginning to splinter.Over the next four days, everyone's secrets are at risk. None more so than what Nora really wants for her life, how Clara has helped her get it…and how they've orchestrated it all behind Lillian's back.As the family grapples with the complex ties that bind them, Nora discovers that facing the truth―however painful―might be the key to finally breaking free. This weekend, Nora's bravest act may be in knowing which bonds to cherish and which ones need to be gently set aside, making room for a future of her own choosing.https://www.marshallfine.com/https://amzn.to/4n9ZIEDSupport the show___https://livingthenextchapter.com/podcast produced by: https://truemediasolutions.ca/Coffee Refills are always appreciated, refill Dave's cup here, and thanks!https://buymeacoffee.com/truemediaca

This week we're starting off with a very quick interview of the founder of wikipedia, Jimmy Wales. Chris D'Elia was hosting his solo podcast and trying to react to videos he found (or someone found) on the internet. He's absolutely terrible at podcasting and CANNOT come up with anything funny or interesting to say while watching robots and teens giggle in a car.  There's a pro-communism podcast called Metal Gear Red that featured Jackson Hinkle explaining that things are going great in North Korea. Bill Burr is completely phoning it in with lackluster “jokes,” terrible ad reads, and only a tease of having potentially interesting stories. Opie reminds us that he has no money coming in and he's very upset that other people are making money off of the old O&A show. Howard Stern and Fred Norris both reinforce that Stuttering John never wrote a thing on the Channel 9 Show. Stuttering John is striking everyone while airing defamatory content that will likely get him and his cohost sued.  MYQ Kaplan's new stand up special - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0uf9i_z-Aw  Support us, get bonus episodes, and watch live every Saturday and Wednesday:  http://bit.ly/watp-patreon https://watp.supercast.tech/ Watch this episode here: https://youtube.com/live/WBcJsoY5XxE  Learn more about your ad choices.
