In March 2025, IMRO hosted an in-person panel discussion moderated by music journalist Zara Hedderman – featuring Bekah Molony (Celaviedmai, Negro Impacto), Conor Cusack (Morgana, Saint Sister), and Gavin Elsted (Silverbacks).In an ever-changing industry, artist managers continue to provide a vital role in developing emerging artists and helping them sustain their career. This talk shed light on the relationship between artists and management, uncovering how the two work together. What do managers look for in an emerging artist? How do they build a career strategy for the artists they represent? How do they protect the best interest of their artists? This talk presented vital information for artists considering working with a manager and how to develop their career in the music industry.Bekah Molony is the head of D07 Artists, a Dublin based artist management, bookings and live event agency that represents and works with some of Ireland's most exciting talent. She is also the founder of Mo Cultivation, a community that focuses on ‘creating, connecting and celebrating' urban culture and Irish artists through events, content and community initiatives. With an undergrad in Event Management, a Masters in Emerging Media and as a Keychange alumni, Bekah's successful music industry career also includes programming exciting projects for brands and sharing knowledge as an industry speaker as she continues to create opportunities for the current and future creatives of Ireland.With over 15 years of experience working in the music industry, Conor Cusack has held a variety of roles across the independent sectors in Dublin, Berlin, and London. He brings his experience in music retail, recorded music, live, event production, product management, charity, and arts consultancy to his long standing career as an artist manager. Conor has managed artists professionally for over 10 years, both independently and as part of London based management firm ie:music.In 2023, he set up his own business, No Bother, a boutique Artist Management & Music Consultancy business. No Bother was set up to oversee the careers of a small number of highly progressive, and forward-thinking artists (Morgana, Saint Sister) and work closely with a small number of consultancy clients to help them achieve their creative and commercial goals. In his spare time he makes techno and plays in an Indie band called DIVIL.Gavin Elsted is an artist manager, label owner and DJ from Newbridge. SIlverbacks (Daniel O'Kelly, Kilian O'Kelly, Peader Kearney, Emma Hanlon, Gary Wickham, Paul Leamy) released their third album Easy Being a Winner on October 18 via Central Tones Records. Scattered around Dublin, Drogheda, Kildare and Paris, Silverbacks have really found their groove on this album. It sounds like an effortless progression. I talked to Dan about making the album, life in Paris, cycling, Other Voices, being a dad, and some of his favourite music of the year. That their fizzing, rock-addled songs rarely pass the four-minute mark is further proof. But in their personal lives, they're not restless. In fact, they're settling down. Lead singer and guitarist Daniel O'Kelly now lives on the outskirts of Paris with his wife - it's where he sees his immediate future too. His brother, guitarist Kilian, has moved to Drogheda, an hour north of Dublin, with wife and fellow Silverback Emma Hanlon, where they've discovered a newfound interest in plants (red hot pokers are their favourite). They're content. Their relationships - their friendships - take the pressure off the music and ultimately allows for something that is more enjoyable to make, and perhaps, as a result, sounds more authentically like Silverbacks too. As they sing on the closing track of third album Easy Being a Winner: “You start to figure it out.”

Tyler Shattock is now the head coach of a premier BCHL organization, but he was once a professional hockey player - and it wasn't too long ago.Drafted 5th overall in the 2005 WHL draft to the Kamloops Blazers - Tyler Shattock was a prized prospect that earned himself a 4th round selection in the 2009 NHL Entry draft to the St. Louis Blues.Shattock was never able to find his way to the NHL as a player and spent is pro career between the AHL and ECHL. Rafi Farber: Physical Silver Premiums at 35% Exceeding March 2020 Crash Premiums on physical silver are now higher than they were during the lows of the March 2020 crash when silver hit $11.64. The most recent silver lows at $18.08 are 55% higher than that. Premiums have gone straight up since SilverSqueeze1, which shows that the Silverbacks are relentless and gaining ground. Meanwhile, registered silver supplies at the Comex break below 60 million ounces for the first time since 2018, which makes sense of there's a 35% arbitrage to close between the Comex and coin dealers.
