My special guest tonight is Ali Saidatan who's here to discuss the alien-hybrids that are being created to replace the human race in secret.   Abductions in History: While "alien abduction" did not achieve widespread attention until the 1960s, many similar stories are known to have been circulating decades earlier. These early abduction-like accounts have been dubbed "paleo-abductions" by UFO researcher Jerome Clark.[3] This same two-part article ([4] and  [3]) makes note of many paleo-abductions, some of which were reported well before the 1957 Antonio Villas Boas case earned much attention, or even before the UFO report claimed in 1947 by pilot Kenneth Arnold that first generated widespread interest in UFOs:  At least one case of attempted abduction was reported in conjunction with the mystery airships of the late 19th century. Colonel H. G. Shaw's account was published in the Stockton, California Daily Mail in 1897: Shaw claimed that he and a friend were harassed by three tall, slender humanoids whose bodies were covered with a fine, downy hair. The beings tried to accost or kidnap Shaw and his friend, who were able to fight them off.[4] In his book New Lands (1923), American writer Charles Fort speculated that extraterrestrial beings might have kidnapped humans: "One supposes that if extra-mundane vessels have sometimes come close to this earth, then sailing away, terrestrial aëronauts may have occasionally left this earth, or may have been seized and carried away from this earth."[5] The 1951 case of  Fred Reagan was publicized by  Flying Saucer Review in the late 1960s based on news clippings from 1952. Reagan claimed to have been piloting his small airplane, which was struck by a UFO; the occupants (who resembled metallic stalks of asparagus) apologized, and tried to cure Reagan's cancer. Reagan reportedly died of a brain disorder not long after the alleged UFO encounter.[6][unreliable source?] In 1954, Paris Match printed a story said to have occurred in 1921, when the anonymous writer was a child. The writer claimed to have been snatched by two tall "men" who wore helmets and "diving suits", who took the boy to an "oddly shaped tank" before being released. Rogerson calls this story "the earliest known abduction survivor report".[2] A 1958 letter to NICAP asserted that two U.S. Army soldiers witnessed two bright red lights near their base. The soldiers had a strange sense of dissociation, and found themselves in a new location, with no memory of how they arrived there.[citation needed] Rogerson writes that the publication of Harold T. Wilkins's Flying Saucers Uncensored (1955) declared that two contactees (Karl Hunrath and Wilbur Wilkinson) had disappeared under mysterious circumstances; Wilkins reported speculation that the duo were the victims of "alleged abduction by flying saucers".[2] The so-called Shaver Mystery of the 1940s has some similarities to later abduction accounts, as well, with sinister beings said to be kidnapping and torturing people. Rogerson writes that John Robinson (a friend of ufology gadfly Jim Moseley) made a 1957 appearance on John Nebel's popular overnight radio program to tell "a dramatically spooky, if not very plausible, abduction tale" related to the Shaver Mystery: Robinson claimed that a friend of his had been held captive by the evil Deros beneath the Earth, and to have been the victim of a sort of mind control via small "earphones"; Rogerson writes that "in this unlikely tale that we first encounter the implants ... and other abductionist staples".[2]   Follow Our Other ShowsFollow UFO WitnessesFollow Crime Watch WeeklyFollow Paranormal FearsFollow Seven: Disturbing Chronicle StoriesJoin our Patreon for ad-free listening and more bonus content.Follow us on Instagram @mysteriousradioFollow us on TikTok mysteriousradioTikTok Follow us on Twitter @mysteriousradio Follow us on Pinterest pinterest.com/mysteriousradio Like us on Facebook Facebook.com/mysteriousradio

Sixty-two pupils at the Ariel School aged between six and twelve said that they saw one or more silver craft descend from the sky and land on a field near their school. Some of the children claimed that one or more creatures dressed all in black then approached and telepathically communicated to them a message with an environmental theme, frightening them and causing them to cry. The Fortean writer Jerome Clark has called the incident the “most remarkable close encounter of the third kind of the 1990s”. Some skeptics have described the incident as one of mass hysteria. Not all the children at the school that day stated that they saw something. Several of those that did maintain that their account of the incident is true.   Background Ruwa is a small agricultural center located 22 kilometers (14 mi) south-east of the capital Harare. At the time of the incident, it was not a town but only a local place-name, "little more than a crossroads in an agricultural region". Ariel School was an expensive private school. Most of the pupils were from wealthy white families in Harare. Two days prior to the incident at Ariel there had been a number of UFO sightings throughout southern Africa. There had been numerous reports of a bright fireball passing through the sky at night. Many people answered ZBC Radio's request to call in and describe what they had seen. Although some witnesses interpreted the fireball as a comet or meteor, it resulted in a wave of UFO mania in Zimbabwe at the time. According to skeptic Brian Dunning, the fireball "had been the re-entry of the Zenit-2 rocket from the Cosmos 2290 satellite launch. The booster broke up into burning streaks as it moved silently across the sky, giving an impressive light show to millions of Africans. “Local UFO researcher Cynthia Hind recorded other alien sightings at this time, including a daylight sighting by a young boy and his mother and a report of alien beings on a road by a trucker.   Incident The sightings at Ariel occurred at 10am on 16 September 1994, when pupils were outside on mid-morning break. The adult faculty at the school were inside having a meeting at the time. The entire incident lasted about fifteen minutes. When the children returned to class, they told the teachers what they had seen but were dismissed. When they returned home, they told their parents. Many of those parents came to the school the next day to discuss what had happened with the faculty.[8] The sighting was reported on ZBC Radio, from where Cynthia Hind learned about it. The BBC's correspondent in Zimbabwe, Tim Leach, visited the school on 19 September to film interviews with pupils and staff. After investigating this incident, Leach stated "I could handle war zones, but I could not handle this". Hind visited the school on 20 September 1994. She interviewed some of the children and asked them to draw pictures of what they had seen. She reported that the children all told her the same story. That November, Harvard University professor of psychiatry and Pulitzer Prize winning author John Mack visited the Ariel school to interview witnesses. Throughout the 1990s Mack had investigated UFO sightings and the alien abduction phenomenon. According to the interviews of Hind, Leach and Mack, 62 children between the ages of six and twelve said that they had seen at least one UFO. One or more silver objects, usually described as discs, appeared in the sky. They then floated down to a field of brush and small trees just outside school property. Between one and four creatures with big eyes and dressed all in black, exited a craft and approached the children. At this point many of the children ran but some, mostly older pupils, stayed and watched the approach. According to Mack's interviews the creature or creatures then telepathically communicated to the children an environmental message, before returning to the craft and flying away. According to Dunning, this telepathic message aspect of the story was not included in Hind or Leach's reports, only Mack's, although Hind reported it later. In Mack's interviews one fifth-grader tells how he was warned "about something that's going to happen," and that "pollution mustn't be". An eleven-year-old girl told Mack "I think they want people to know that we're actually making harm on this world and we mustn't get too technologic." One child said that he was told that the world would end because they are not taking care of the planet. The children were adamant that they had not seen a plane. Hind noted that the different cultural background of the children gave rise to different interpretations of what they had seen and they did not all believe that they had seen extraterrestrials. She noted that some of the children thought the short little beings were tikoloshes, creatures of Shona and Ndebele folklore.

This week Shawn is going to help us figure out just why it took so long for Silverback Gorillas to go from fiction to fact! We also want to bring attention to The Diane Fosse Gorilla Fund this week to celebrate the life and work of Dr. Diane Fosse and to help raise awareness for the ongoing efforts to keep these great apes from extinction. SHOW NOTES: S4-E02   THE ARIEL SCHOOL ALIEN INCIDENT!!! In this new episode, we look into a truly chilling UFO and aliens case in Africa! On 16 September 1994, there was a UFO sighting outside Ruwa, Zimbabwe. 62 pupils at the Ariel school, aged between six and twelve, said they saw one or more silver craft descend from the sky. These craft landed in a field near their school. Some of the children claimed one or more creatures dressed all in black then approached them! The beings telepathically communicated to them a message with an environmental theme, frightening them and causing them to become hysterical. Fortean writer Jerome Clark has called the incident the “most remarkable close encounter of the third kind of the 1990s”. But do skeptics agree? Was it a case of actual alien contact or just mass hysteria? And what was the message imparted to the children? We'll find out! Scott Wren, senior global market strategist for the Wells Fargo Investment Institute, says the stock market is in for some dicey moments heading into 2023 and through the first few months of the year, but he is calling for the Standard & Poor's 500 to hit 4,400 -- roughly 15 percent higher than it is today -- by the end of next year, a recovery that is set up by solid economic underpinnings that he says will come to the fore once inflation is under better control. Also on the show, Anu Ganti of S&P Global discusses how the Dow Jones Industrial Average during October posted its best month in nearly 47 years, Jerome Clark of T. Rowe Price -- a pioneer of target-date investing -- discusses how and why target-date investors have performed by staying the course in market times tempting them into making portfolio changes, and Lin Ho of Zelros covers the site's recent survey on how consumers feel they are being gouged for insurance coverage and how to make sure you're getting the most for your insurance dolar.

The 1970s produced a distinct flavor of Sasquatch, one that could be found in nationwide headlines in states like Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and Pennsylvania. Often these sightings would be accompanied by other anomalous events, like UFOs, strange voices, and odd smells. 1972 was a year riddled with both. In a commentary for the North American Newspaper Alliance, Keel wrote “Hairy Monsters Eclipse Comeback By UFOs.” “After a three year ‘lull' with comparatively few flying saucers being reported, the little green men attempted a comeback this year. “But a seven-foot hairy monster with a serious perspiration problem walked away with most of the publicity.” On this episode we look deep into "The Missouri Monster" or Momo encounters that took place in Louisiana, Missouri. The Summer of 72 was an active time for Bigfoots, as a series of other infamous encounters took place in Indiana and Pennsylvania that year, making it the true Summer of the Squatch! When it comes to the big hairy guy in the woods, most people are of the mind that Bigfoot is a salt of the earth creature, feet firmly planted on the ground. Well, on this episode, we talk about the Bigfoot that may have hitched a ride on a UFO. For decades, hairy creatures have been associated with the UFO phenomenon. In 1954, Venezuela was besieged by short, stocky creatures, with glowing yellow eyes. This particular hairy humanoid was particularly aggressive, scratching many witnesses. The link between the two phenomena would become stronger in the early 70s after a series of sightings in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and Pennsylvania. On this episode Jordan Heath from Campfire: Tales of the Strange and Unsettling stops by to talk about Bigfoots that are able to disable cars with its hair, a strange case from 1912, and the strange case of George Kowalczyk, who may have been possessed by a Bigfoot? The Lonnie Zamora Incident closely examines NASA satellite instruments to the National Radio Astronomical Observatory Station, where the VLA satellites are located. As authentic locals of New Mexico, Alex-Jason invites us to their home state, and in 1964, police officer Lonnie Zamora pursued a reckless speeding driver when he passed by a dynamite storage shack exploding. He abandoned the chase and turned up toward a perlite mine. Unbeknownst, this hot chase turned into another remarkable extraterrestrial phenomenon. He saw an egg-shaped spacecraft.    The Air Force investigated the case, who believed that a military aircraft is what Lonnie saw. UFO expert and researcher Jerome Clark does not accept the Air Force's explanation and believes that Lonnie saw a UFO. The Air Force officials brought Dr. J. Allen Hynek, a prolific NASA astronomer and agency consultant for USAF's Project Bluebook. Hynek found that the physical evidence was convincing, along with the witness, Lonnie Zamora, himself. Lonnie believes what he had seen was not from this Earth, and the UFO sighting has never been explained. A similar encounter with Dr. Fry's in New Mexico's barren desert landscape brings us fresh insights for a deeper understanding of Alien civilizations. Moving forward from White Sand's 20 episode saga, Alex- Jason instills to investigate new clusters of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena further as they connect the puzzles to understand the bigger picture concerning USAF's Project Bluebook. The pilot episode left us poise for the opening stages of this Extraterrestrial Incident. We traverse the crossroads of evolution in each micro perspective of every individual involved in this incident.    This fourth episode continues the discussion regarding the Department of Defense's strategic interest in Alien Technology. The frontliners were deployed from White Sands Missile Range, hinting some connection with Dr. Daniel Fry's contact. Army Cap. Richard Holder and his colleagues are on a hellbent undercover intelligence operation to provide military information and data to develop technological superiority while informing governmental policy machinery for outer-space relations. The Lonnie Zamora Extraterrestrial landing has just got bigger. This second episode picks up the pace of establishing momentum and preliminary background checks around various vital personalities, settings, and investigative catalogs of this Alien incident. Unlike Daniel Fry's Sci-Fi voyage, this incident hosted many investigative fact-checking and truth-finding in HDL's county and State. New Mexico holds many keys to unlocking the mysteries of frequent Extraterrestrial activity, partly due to its natural radio activities and the proliferation of early radar technology. A vast area covering a deserted expanse and open winds are always a treat for an Extraterrestrial landing.    The Air Force investigated the case, who believed that a military aircraft is what Lonnie saw. UFO expert and researcher Jerome Clark does not accept the Air Force's explanation and believes that what Lonnie saw was a UFO. The Air Force officials brought Dr. J. In 1917, two young cousins carried a camera into an English dell and returned with a photo of fairies. When Arthur Conan Doyle took up the story it became a worldwide sensation. Bill Stone, chief investment officer for Glenview Trust, says that current inflation may be on the rise, but the increase may be caused in part by bottlenecks in certain commodities that have caused prices to increase, and that pressure should ease over time. He expects value stocks to continue their recent outperformance over growth during the rest of the year, with a strong economic recovery and the slight inflation blip pushing that action along. Also on the show, Tom Lydon of ETFTrends.com discusses a cash-cow investment strategy with his pick for the ETF of the Week, Jerome Clark discusses how the pandemic played out in family money talks, as measured by the T. After 15 years, The Paracast is still here, as Gene and Randall present a special episode featuring veteran UFO researchers and authors Tim “Mr. UFO” Beckley and Jerome Clark. The discussion takes us way back to the early days of the UFO field, and how they became lifelong friends in the pages of Ray Palmer’s Flying Saucers magazine. Topics include the reasons why people interested in sci-fi often reject UFO believers, and the concept of “event anomalies,” and “experience anomalies” to describe the sort of encounters people report. Beckley boasts that he has had “so many careers that even his own girlfriend doesn’t know what he does for a living.” He has published hundreds of books covering paranormal topics. Clark is best known as author of the sprawling “UFO Encyclopedia.” He has also written numerous articles covering “Fortean” topics, and also worked with the late Dr. J. Allen Hynek at the Center for UFO Studies, and as an editor for Fate magazine.

In the December 1967 issue of Flying Saucer Review, there appeared an article written by Jerome Clark titled “Why UFOs Are Hostile.” In it, he presents a few cases and a load of speculation as to why UFOs are hostile. One of the stories presented is that of James Flynn, a Florida resident who had been sleeping in a swamp when he was awoken by his dogs barking. He witnessed a craft, and claimed that it rendered him unconscious for 24 hours. The article is largely supported by heavy speculation, and had little to actually back it. By and large, in the United States, UFOs were relatively tame. They seemed more curious than harmful. Thomas Mantell’s death couldn’t be exclusively proven to have been at the hands of a UFO, and the disappearance of Felix Moncla was mysterious, but still remained unknown. In Brazil, however, they started to earn the reputation of a country that suffered from its UFO sightings. In the late 70s, a flap of UFO activity occurred that resulted in serious injury, and even the deaths of Brazilian residents around the city of Colares in northern Brazil. Metaphysical Theater Anchor Fm podcast H.P. Blavatsky (1831-1891) Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (1831-1891), Russian-born Occultist and co-founder of The Theosophical Society, demonstrated psychic powers of a startling nature and claimed personal contact with highly developed Masters living in Tibet and India. A well-versed student of metaphysical and esoteric lore, she promoted a greater Western knowledge of Eastern religions, philosophies and mythologies. Madame Blavatsky's major works (Isis Unveiled, The Secret Doctrine, The Key to Theosophy, and The Voice of the Silence) are considered classics in occult and Theosophical literature. "We came into contact with certain men, endowed with such mysterious powers and such profound knowledge that we may truly designate them as the sages of the Orient. To their instructions we lent a ready ear.   The work now submitted to public judgment is the fruit of a somewhat intimate acquaintance with [these] Eastern adepts and study of their [esoteric & occult] science." H.P. Blavatsky, Isis Unveiled, 1877. "Helena Petrovna Blavatsky is surely among the most original and perceptive minds of her time.  She is among the modern world’s trailblazing psychologists of the visionary mind."  Theodore Roszak, Unfinished Animal: Aquarian Frontier & the Evolution of Consciousness. "Blavatsky's esoteric synthesis has served as a basic source for later esotericists, literati, scientists, and entire movements, including the New Age.  Unlike most of her contemporaries, she is as visible today as an modern trendsetting guru, and she will most likely remain the most memorable and innovative esotericist of the 19th century."  James A. Santucci, Dictionary of Gnosis & Western Esotericism. "Madame Blavatsky...stands out as the fountainhead  of modern occult thought, and was either the  originator and/or popularizer of many of the ideas  and terms which have a century later been   assembled within the New Age Movement.  The Theosophical Society, which she cofounded, has been the major advocate of occult philosophy in the West and the single most important avenue of Eastern teaching to the West."  J. Gordon Melton, Jerome Clark &  Aidan A. Kelly, eds., New Age Almanac. "Theosophy occupies a central place in the history of new spiritual movements, for the writings of Blavatsky and some of her followers have had a great influence outside of her organization.... The importance of Theosophy in modern history should not be underestimated. Not only have the writings of Blavatsky and others inspired several generations of occultists, but the movement had a remarkable role in the restoration to the colonial peoples of nineteenth century Asia their own spiritual heritage." The Paracast -- The Gold Standard of Paranormal Radio

Gene and Randall present long-time UFO researcher and author Jerome Clark, who will discuss the third edition of his multivolume magnum opus, "The UFO Encyclopedia." You'll learn about the new material, the conclusions that were altered as the result of new research, particularly the Roswell UFO crash and how the case stands after all these years. Indeed, is any reported UFO crash credible? Randall and Jerry also debate the "experience anomaly," and its impact on certain cases, such as abductions. Are all UFOs physical craft, or are other forces at work here? Jerry is also a songwriter whose music has been recorded or performed by musicians such as Emmylou Harris, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and Tom T. Hall.

The Paracast -- The Gold Standard of Paranormal Radio

Gene and very special guest cohost Don Ecker observe the May 6, 2018 passing of prolific author Brad Steiger, at the age of 82. They are joined by two author/researchers who knew Steiger well: Jerome Clark and Kevin D. Randle. The discussion begins by remembering their first meetings and ongoing association with Steiger, and segues into the seldom-revealed limitations of writing books covering the UFO genre and similar subjects. You'll also hear forthright discussions about the value of Steiger's research, pop culture, the world of sci-fi and other topics.

No matter how you slice it target date funds continue to play a larger role each year in the conversation around workplace retirement plan outcomes.  However, some of the decisions that plan sponsors and fiduciaries make on their target date funds are not evolving as quickly as maybe they should.  When I discuss with employers how they selected their target date strategy often times I hear answers like, they had the best performance, they were inexpensive or they were the one our provider offered.  While these details and others are important in selecting a target date strategy that will match your employee demographics and needs, there is much more that can and should be explored.  To help inform that conversation and illustrate how two very successful target date strategies can take very different approaches I happy to welcome back Rich Weiss, the CIO for Multi-Asset Strategies at American Century and Jerome Clark, a Portfolio Manager in the Asset Allocation Group at T. Rowe Price.  As portfolio managers of their respective firms target date strategies, there are certain things that both Rich and Jerome agree on but much more that they take very different approaches to or have very different opinions on.  Not only was this a ton of fun to have both guys on the podcast, but it illustrates just how important it is to get beyond the numbers when evaluating target date investments and to ensure you understand their process, beliefs and strategies.  Guest Bios Jerome Clark is a portfolio manager in the T. Rowe Price Asset Allocation Group and co-manages the firm's Asset Allocation Target Date Strategies and oversees the College Savings Plan portfolios. He is a member of the firm's Asset Allocation Committee and a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. Mr. Clark has 25 years of investment experience, all of which have been at T. Rowe Price. He joined the firm in 1992 as a quantitative analyst in the Fixed Income Division. He was the portfolio manager of the U.S. Treasury Long-Term Bond Strategy from 1998 through 2003 and began managing asset allocation portfolios in 2001. Prior to joining T. Rowe Price, Mr. Clark was a captain in the United States Marine Corps and spent three years as a mathematics instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy. Mr. Clark earned a B.S. in mathematics from the U.S. Naval Academy, an M.S. in operations research from the Naval Postgraduate School, and an M.B.A. in finance from Johns Hopkins University. He has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Richard Weiss is a Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, Multi-Asset Strategies for American Century Investments.  He is the co-portfolio manager for the firm’s asset allocation strategies, including Strategic Allocation, Global Allocation and One Choice Portfolios®. He also serves as a member of the firm’s Investment Oversight and Asset Allocation Committees, which is responsible for establishing investment policy and reviewing investment decisions for all of our asset allocation products. Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Rich was executive vice president and chief investment officer of City National Bank, where he was responsible for their $12 billion investment management group and directed investment policy and strategy. Previously, he was executive vice president and chief investment officer at Sanwa Bank California, where he managed all aspects of their investment department. Earlier in his career, Rich held senior investment positions at Vantage Global Advisors, TSA Capital Management, PaineWebber and Mellon Bank. He has worked in the investment industry since 1984. Rich holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He has authored several academic papers and is well known for his advanced work in the field of global investing. 401(k) Fridays Podcast Overview Struggling with a fiduciary issue, looking for strategies to improve employee retirement outcomes or curious about the impact of current events on your workplace retirement plan? The Paracast -- The Gold Standard of Paranormal Radio

Gene and Chris are joined by veteran UFO researcher Jerome Clark to interview David Booher, author of "No Return: The Gerry Irwin Story, UFO Abduction or Covert Operation?" The book includes a foreword from Jacques Vallee. In 1959, two years before the Betty and Barney Hill UFO abduction, a young soldier had a mysterious experience on a lonesome road in Utah, where the arrival of a blazing object was followed by a 24-hour blackout. Just what did happen to Irwin? As Booher details this incredible experience and its possible implications, Clark provides the historical perspective and asks compelling questions to help flesh out this amazing tale and how it impacted Irwin's life.

The Paracast -- The Gold Standard of Paranormal Radio

With the help of a section called "Saucer Club News" in Ray Palmer's Flying Saucers magazine in the 1950s and 1960s, enterprising young people got together to form their own UFO clubs, or just looked to meet up with others with the same interests. That's where such people as your humble host of The Paracast and such notables as Tim Beckley, Jerome Clark, Allen Greenfield and Rick Hilberg got their starts. In a single virtual room, Gene's old friends will reminisce about their early work in the UFO field. The political and cultural climate, how both may have impacted early research efforts, are also debated. Guest co-host is J. Randall Murphy.
