Some of my favorite episodes to record have been with fellow Aaron fans where we just chat about Aaron and I get to hear about their journey to discovering him and his work and hear about what has kept them coming back for me! It is just amazing to have the opportunity to connect with others and be able to talk about Aaron and his work with those who really get it. This week's episode shares Aaron stories from Lisa P and Francine. Enjoy!

Her success as a coach and trainer was based mainly on her ability to understand and read the horses at any given moment, and be able to communicate to the rider how to “meld” or synchronize themselves with the horse. Her technique for building champion riders was always based on helping the rider create a foundation of personal “centeredness and emotional congruence”, as well as identifying individual learning and motivational styles of the rider. Lisa now facilitates, not the winning of championship ribbons, but the victory of inner growth and healing for individuals in all areas of life. Lisa joined the equine therapeutic community in 2007 when she became the Equine Director and later the Program Director for a PATH Intl premiere therapeutic riding center in Phoenix AZ. Lisa rebuilt and managed the riding and equine care and management programs for instructors and volunteer training program for over 10 instructors and 50 volunteers, as well as equine care, selection, and training. Additionally, from 2012-2021 she co-founded and was the board chair and executive director of a new therapeutic non-profit center in Phoenix, Arizona, Envision Therapeutic Horsemanship Inc. She developed her own unique program of bonding with a horses and gaining inner healing that has been used successfully with sex trafficked youth, homeless youth, victims of domestic violence, individuals in substance abuse recovery, cancer recovery, foster care families and many others. She has presented her model and innovative programs at regional and international conferences for PATHintl.org and conducts workshops and trainings for mental health professionals and aspiring equine specialists. Lisa holds certifications from PATHIntl as a therapeutic riding Instruction (CTRI) and as an Equine Specialist in mental health and learning (ESMHL.) Lisa's passion for helping others in achieving inner victory and growth began with her own personal journey of 7 years of intensive trauma recovery leading to emotional freedom and healing. Her journey allowed her to gain extensive experience with multiple trauma-healing models, support group facilitation, as well as traditional 12-step recovery models. She is a trained abuse-recovery support group facilitator by Mending the Soul, a biblically based abuse recovery model. She has been trained in the Freedom program; a biblically based inner- healing journey based on prayer. She has also facilitated small groups in post- abortion healing and biblical financial principles. Lisa holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University. She has also completed masters level courses from Phoenix seminary and Ottawa university. She loves to be part of worship teams in her church, participate in missions trips, and enjoys her family and seven grandchildren How to contact Lisa Pewe: Lisa Pewe's email: How to contact Dr. Bob: Dr. Bob on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChztMVtPCLJkiXvv7H5tpDQ Dr. Bob on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/drroberthamilton/ Dr. Bob on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bob.hamilton.1656 Dr. Bob on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/drroberthamilton/ Dr. Bob on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bob.hamilton.1656 Dr. Bob on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/drroberthamilton/ Dr. Bob on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bob.hamilton.1656 Dr. Bob on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/drroberthamilton/ Dr. Bob on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bob.hamilton.1656

Ein Trend? Vielleicht. Ein Abenteuer? Bestimmt. Und eine Herausforderung? Ganz sicher.

Portretował ją wiele razy i w różny sposób. Małgorzata Czyńska biografka i pisarka prowadzi nas w historię i czasy XVII wiecznej Holandii do domu artysty w którym mieszka on i tworzy u boku swej pięknej i dobrej żony. Niestety, nie jest to historia z happy endem. Rozmawia Hanna Mirska-Grudzińska

Peace and Blessings, I want to thank you for your time. My name is Coach Jamar T. Brown and I am the Founder and Director of Programming of The S.T.O.R.M. Academy which is a civic, youth, and community organization based out of Bridgeport, Connecticut. We have two programs under The S.T.O.R.M. Academy foundation which is The S.T.O.R.M. Academy with Mobile Coach Brown and the Family and E.Y.E. Camp and Clinic Series. Our mission is to inspire and assist students, student-athletes, and parents along their life journey through the use of intelligent, innovative, and intense intervention. Our young men and women are diverse and come from all levels of the economic ladder. Some come from two-parent households, single-parent households, foster homes, and some are being raised by their grandparents. My work as a youth and community advocate has been challenging and rewarding for the last eighteen years. Furthermore, educational assignments, sports, and physical activities are important tools to combat: disunity, childhood obesity, gang violence, poverty, lack of resources, and a poor educational system. Our Director of Family Affairs and coaching staff came up with a great fundraising campaign to help develop and improve our organization. We are in discussion with a local facility. They will allow us to rent nine hours a week at ninety dollars per hour. The weekly budget will be $810.00. The money must be raised because lives and futures are on the line. It is our obligation as staff to raise funds to secure a fun, discipline, and educational safe haven for our youth. Physical activity is one of the most important parts of a child's health, well-being, and learning. Helping them incorporate it into their life is a huge priority in modern parenting — yet many parents are dismayed to find their son or daughter is not interested in sports. We provide mentoring and programs for students that are not interested in playing sports. In the midst of a pandemic, we stayed dedicated to action and change for the last thirteen months. The fundraising campaign's title is “The Impact of $240.00.” The fundraising campaign involves the commitment of an individual. The financial commitment we will respectfully like to ask you to contribute is twenty dollars for the next twelve months. It can be expensive to run and operate programs for over fifty families. Also, we are currently applying for our nonprofit status. The funds will be used for youth and community purposes only. The continuous support from someone like you will ensure our growth and development as an organization. There are young men and women dying in our city of Bridgeport and the state of Connecticut and some parents are feeling helpless. Some young men and women are dealing with depression, anxiety, and feeling isolated. Our support staff resembles the village it takes to help young men or women mature if the difficult conditions of today's society. Payment Options: Please memo The S.T.O.R.M. Trademark law and the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution seem from the outset to have a complex and conflicted relationship. Indeed, while protection of the right to freedom of expression can encourage the creation and dissemination of ideas and information, government protection of trademarks can suppress and punish expression that incorporates another's registered trademark. Even further, trademark law sometimes prevents registration of signs that would otherwise be considered speech protected by the First Amendment, with numerous and strict conditions on what may or may not be registered. Lisa P. Ramsey, Professor of Law at the University of San Diego School of Law, who teaches in the areas of trademark law and intellectual property in general, will explain the interactions between free expression and trademark law. Lisa’s most recent articles in the Houston Law Review, The Trademark Reporter, and other publications put the focus on the potential conflict between trademark and free expression rights in national and international laws; and a paper published by Oxford University Press explored nontraditional trademarks and inherently valuable expression. She notably talks about two recent groundbreaking U.S. Supreme Court cases right on point, namely Matal v. Tam (2017) and Iancu v. Brunetti (2019) about the right for the government to deny trademark registration to certain categories of trademarks “potentially disparaging” marks and “immoral or scandalous” marks, respectively.Every two weeks, on Tuesday, Brand & New gives the floor to inspiring individuals, with a 360-degree vision, to help brand owners, intellectual property lawyers, and marketing and finance professionals (and beyond!) stay curious and agile in an ever-evolving business environment. In this episode, Lisa P. Ramsey, Professor of Law at University of San Diego School of Law, discusses her article "Free Speech Challenges to Trademark Law After Matal v. Tam," and her work on "nontraditional marks." Ramsey begins by describing what trademarks are, what trademark law can protect, and how the trademark registration process works. She explains how the Trademark Office used to refuse to register disparaging, immoral, and scandalous marks on statutory grounds, until the Supreme Court found those exclusions unconstitutional viewpoint discrimination in Matal v. Tam (2017) and Iancu v. Brunetti (2019). Ramsey reflects on the meaning of the Supreme Court's application of First Amendment protections to trademark registration, and how it could cascade through the trademark doctrine, affecting other areas of trademark law, including dilution and "inherently valuable expression." Ramsey is on Twitter at @LPRamsey.This episode was hosted by Brian L. Frye, Spears-Gilbert Associate Professor of Law at the University of Kentucky College of Law. Frye is on Twitter at @brianlfrye. This episode features artist Lisa P. Young on Profound Perspective. Bright colors and classic rock didn’t always fill Lisa P. Young’s days. She was once a corporate pharmaceutical representative with a big paycheck and a big expense account. Then came 2003. Lisa lost six loved ones over the course of three years, including her husband at the time. She was also hit with three hurricanes; in her own words, “life didn’t have a lot of meaning, you know. Getting up and going to work just didn’t seem important anymore.” Lisa made a big change. Listen to this episode to learn about her story. Greg If you’re looking to add more brightness to your day, check out lisapyoung.com Read more about Lisa below: Bright colors and classic rock didn’t always fill Lisa P. Young’s days. She was once a corporate pharmaceutical representative with a big paycheck and a big expense account. Pantsuits and company board rooms, she had meetings to attend and clients to manage. Then came 2003. Lisa lost six loved ones over the course of three years, including her husband at the time. She was also hit with three hurricanes; in her own words, “life didn’t have a lot of meaning, you know. Getting up and going to work just didn’t seem important anymore.” The final blow came when she lost her best friend. Lisa resigned from Pfizer and took a road trip to California with her niece. Others thought she was “nuts”. She headed West to keep herself moving. Hiking in the mountains of California, she found herself crying and letting all of her emotions pour out. Lisa had a strong visual of her ‘maker’ at the end of her foreseeable life. There wasn’t anything about selling more Viagra or Lipitor, what she did hear was “you had the art, what did you do with that? Why didn’t you do something with that?” Energized, she returned to Florida, set up a charitable foundation in her friends honor, and began to paint. Her initial abstract paintings had solemn tones…she was finding her way back to her art, and into herself. Paintings started to sell, and with some advice from a fellow artist, she began to painting on large canvases. One of her abstract pieces caught her eye, she took a step back and giggled a bit, “you know what, those things kinda look like flamingos”. She added some details to the dripping paint marks on the canvas, and voilà, flamingos! Lisa began to notice what she really loved. “I started looking around at all the stuff I was fascinated with, and it’s all driven by texture. That was so key. That’s what drives your art, it’s texture!” She found the ‘key’ to her expression. Experiencing Lisa’s art and knowing her story fills the mind with wonder, “what colors, what texture, what expression do I have within myself?” With raised thick lines, scraps of paint, and vivid colors, Lisa’s life journey is felt profoundly. “If you’d told me that when I quit my corporate job to be an artist and to live a life of meaning, and it was gonna be painting flamingos, I would have said you’re nuts.” Lisa is living her profound perspective, and you can too.

Tune in to witness something that some might say is impossible… the changing of one man’s heart. This week JD interviews Jeremy Moran, a filmmaker, artist, and improv actor, whose consistent failure in the gaming arena USED to mean he disliked playing them all together. In Episode 09: Improv Games and the Art of Failure with Jeremy Moran, we'll learn more about failure, the tyranny of rules, improv games, and ways to find the art in everything. Even a door! Jeremy historically has been pretty bad at games, and the consistent number of losses he experienced while gaming was a real turn off. But something's changed recently. While it’s been said that video games are “the singular art form that sets us up for failure and allows us to experience it and experiment with it”, another fail-friendly art form also exists: the art of improv theater. His experience with improv over the last four years, including improv games, has increased not only his tolerance for playfulness and failure, but his enjoyment as well! This is the fourth (and final!) episode in a series of interviews about video games with people who don't like playing video games, inspired by Brie Code and a panel from SXSW (titled "Video Games for People Who Don't Like Video Games"). See Episode 06: Crying in a Closet, an interview with non-gamer Bailey Morrison about games and anxiety, for part one in the series, Episode 07: The Pleasures of Back-seat Gaming with game spectator and eSports lover Nora Green for part two, and part three, Episode 08: Learning the Language of Rules Vs. Join JD and Lisa P. for Episode 08 as we unpack the question of rules. When are rules in games fun? When are they a real snore-fest? What's the value of rules vs. creativity in play and language-learning? Lisa P. is a full-time public school teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing finishing up her Master's in special education at the University of Northern Colorado. Lisa doesn't play video games, but loves to play regular old games (aka board games and tabletop games), and the differences between the two makes all the difference for her. Growing up, Lisa did play a few computer games, but at the time didn't really think of them as video games. The games she played were mostly creative and open, not bound by what she thought of as the defining characteristics of video games: narrative and objectives. Not all games with rules throw her off though. A lover of people-to-people connections, Lisa does enjoy the deeply social nature of board games, rules and all. She uses that drive for conversation in her classroom, where she teaches young students about the world of words through gameplay. Rules play a part in the way she helps children learn about language. As it turns out, learning to communicate with other people isn't so different from learning the rules for how to play a game! This is the third episode in a series of interviews about video games with people who don't like playing video games, inspired by Brie Code and a panel from SXSW (titled "Video Games for People Who Don't Like Video Games").
