Send in the clowns! Yes, Virginia, Criminal Minds did a fucking clown episode, and it's spectacular. Or stupid. One of those. A clown is killing men and leaving the kids alone, reversing the Pennywise paradigm popularized in Stephen King's child pornography book. What results is a cautionary tale about the death of the American Dream as it pertains to clowning. "The Capilanos" is a load of Italian nonsense, 40 minutes of two brothers who have to resort to crime because they've been blacklisted from the world of carnivals, circuses, rodeos and birthday parties. Matthew Gray Gubler directs, because why wouldn't he. Ronnie and Jazz try to make sense of it all as the countdown to Season 17 trudges on.

A Fresh Story, season 5, episode 7 We had the honor of talking to actress, artist, podcaster, and all around cool girl Rebecca Lee! We talked to Rebecca about her divorce, finding her way back to her career post-divorce, how we can tap into our confidence, and how she ditched the narratives in her life and found her own journey. Rebecca is brilliant, creative, funny, and one of our favorite cool girls - she is generous and kind and always looks like she's about to walk onto the stage. Rebecca Lee is a Los Angeles-based actor and filmmaker. She studied acting at Atlantic Acting School in New York City as well as the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Los Angeles. Notable film and television credits include Crazy Ex-Girlfriend on the CW, Miranda July's Kajillionaire, and Comedy Central's Out of Office, written/directed by Paul Lieberstein and starring alongside Milana Vayntrub, Ken Jeong, Jay Pharoah, and Leslie Jones. She recently produced and starred as "A" in the Los Angeles premiere of An Intervention by Mike Bartlett at The Hudson Theatre in Los Angeles April-June 2022, completing the run at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. In addition to acting, Rebecca also has a passion for improv, performing every Monday night at 8pm in Holy Shit Improv at The Silverlake Lounge along with various other theaters throughout Los Angeles. She has a podcast called, How the Fuck...?, where she interviews her friends and peers on different mental health topics. Season one was titled How the Fuck Did You Get So Confident? and season two is How the Fuck Did You Bounce Back?. Notable guests include Rachel Bloom, Shelley Hennig, Milana Vayntrub & Ashley Johnson. Rebecca is also a writer and producer having the latest short film she produced, Beginner's Luck, starring Matthew Gray Gubler, Lauren Lapkus, Mary Holland, Ego Nwodim, herself, and others, win various awards on the festival circuit including the Grand Prize at the 2020 Hollywood Comedy Shorts Film Festival and the Audience Award at the Chicago Comedy Film Festival 2020. Whether she's acting, writing, directing, or producing, Rebecca is an artist first, looking to create projects that will act as a mirror held up to society, helping people to reflect on themselves and the world around them rather than hide from it. Enjoy this episode with Rebecca, check out her website, and follow Rebecca on Instagram. Listen to How the Fuck Did You…podcast here!

What's the difference between casual fandom and a full blown obsession? To Brooke Averick, they're one and the same. Each week, Brooke explores one of her deeply held obsessions. And she certainly has plenty of them. Sometimes, her friends will even stop by to share their own intense fandoms, too! From Harry Styles, to Broadway, to her dream of playing a corpse on “Criminal Minds” next to Matthew Gray Gubler, one thing is for sure: Brooke is obsessed. And honestly? So are we. This 2009 movie is a classic in the rom-com genre, but it is not a love story
In our latest episode we kick off with the biggest film of the week, PREY, the new Predator movie in which the alien hunter sets his sights on a Comanche tribe. (Prey is currently available on Hulu or Disney+), Meanwhile, over on Netflix there's CARTER, a hyperkinetic action movie about a Korean agent with no past memories. Take a listen to here our thoughts on it! I have to fly solo on the next review, as i was the only person to have managed to watch the new western, THE LAST SON - take a listen to hear my opinions! KING KNIGHT is the lasted pairing of actor Matthew Gray Gubler and Richard Bates Jr, and there are some very divided opinions on the panel! THE VOICES (aka The Free Fall) is a new horror film co-starring Shawn Ashmore and directed by Adam Stilwell, who made one of my personal fave fakumentaries The Triangle. Our Short Shot is SCOOTY - click the link for the whole 15 mins, you won't regret it! Finally our DTV Throwback is REIGO, THE DEEP-SEA MONSTER vs. THE BATTLESHIP YAMATO, a low budget attempt at making a Kaiju movie without a monster suit! Before 'Criminal Minds,' most police procedurals focused on the "who" bit of "whodunit." But, when the Mandy Patinkin CBS series debuted in 2005, it was one of the first to ask not only "who," but "why." What resulted was a series that lasted over 300 episodes and 15 years — even if all of its cast didn't. Patinkin included, who called his two seasons on the show his "biggest mistake."You, like the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit, might wonder... why? Our latest episode gets into it all, delving into the history and impact of 'Criminal Minds.' During the episode, we learn about Matthew Gray Gubler's surprising pre-'Criminal Minds' career, which gigantic series it actually beat in the ratings, and how Kirsten Vangsness lasted more than just the one episode she was cast for. Plus: 'Criminal Minds's 'Friends' tie-in, and Thomas Gibson's splash in a hot tub. So grab your private jets (wheels up in five, btw) and enjoy the story of 'Criminal Minds'!
Immortalized as Leland Palmer in David Lynch's Twin Peaks (in 1990-91, 2017 and in the 1992 prequel feature), Ray Wise has appeared in hundreds of movies and TV shows...and he still loves what he does. He tells Leonard and Jessie that he set his sights on being a professional actor in the fourth grade. That goal was met years ago, with roles on such TV series as Love of Life, The Young and the Restless, 24, The Reaper (as The Devil) and Fresh Off the Boat, along with movies like Swamp Thing, X-Men: First Class and Good Night and Good Luck. He even voiced Commissioner Gordon in the latest Batman animated feature, Batman: The Killing Joke. Ray is a delight to talk to and the living definition of the term “working actor.” His latest feature, now available on VOD, is King Knight with Matthew Gray Gubler.
Emily Bennett & Justin Brooks are the writers and directors of the horror film Alone With You (in which Emily also stars). They talk about their love of horror, working as a duo, directing Emily, and working with scream legend Barbara Crampton. Richard Bates is the writer/director of the horror Satire King Knight starring Criminal Minds' Matthew Gray Gubler. Richard talks about why he wanted to take on the witches genre, cults, satire, religion, having Aubrey Plaza voice a pine cone, and working with scream legend Barbara Crampton (I sense a theme here) Subscribe - Apple, Spotify, Amazon, Pandora, Deezer Social @ EndeavoursRadio --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/dan-mcpeake/message

This week we watch a very unhinged film that stars two Certified Film Gods Cuties, Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino. This episode starts with more updates from Emily on how men continue to disappoint us, but what else is new? Elaina drops a truth bomb early on, and then we reminisce about cringey voicemails and feet-stuff. After all that fun stuff, we get into how to reprogram your brain when talking to people you deem to be more attractive. First things first, we think you're incredibly hot and if you ever need a boost hit us up! Second, you have nothing to lose! (And if you're Charlotte you have nothing, period.) Society's version of attractive is not always everyone's taste, and you're just as hot and desirable as anyone else. All of our ancestors got laid, and so can you! We discuss the differences in cocky vs. confident people and how to fake it till you make it. One can get you laid and the other can get you blacklisted. Plus, if you're genuinely enjoying yourself and treating yourself as the main character, you'll have a better time anyway! Remember: it's not about being hotter than other people, it's about being the hottest version of yourself. So wear what YOU want, embrace your imperfections, and maybe you'll meet Matthew Gray Gubler! All this and more on Babes and Bad Decisions! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

This week served up some real lukewarm content with 2014’s, “Life After Beth.” It was one of those movies that didn’t know what it wanted to be and just tried to dang hard. Join us as we discuss mortician practices, zombie law, and the fact that this is a prime cast of actors but it didn’t deliver. Be sure to rate and subscribe otherwise you’ll be thrown into a lukewarm liquid of your choosing. Stats/info: 2014, Directed by Jeff Baena, starring Aubrey Plaza, Dane DeHaan, John C. Reilly, Molly Shannon, and Matthew Gray Gubler

Matthew Gray Gubler (Criminal Minds! New children's book Rumple Buttercup: A Story of Bananas, Belonging, and Being Yourself!) makes it weird!
Matthew Gray Gubler (Criminal Minds, new book Rumple Buttercup: A Story of Bananas, Belonging, and Being Yourself) talks with Chris about how they handle busy schedules, the time he did @midnight and his love of magic. He also talks about directing, working on Criminal Minds for 15 years and his new children's book Rumple Buttercup: A Story of Bananas, Belongings, and Being Yourself!
"Rumple Buttercup" is a unique and inspiring tale about embracing individuality, written and illustrated by "Criminal Minds" actor/director, Matthew Gray Gubler. Rumple Buttercup has five crooked teeth, three strands of hair, green skin, and his left foot is slightly bigger than his right. He is weird. In the book, he and Candy Corn Carl (his imaginary friend made of trash) learn the joy of individuality as well as the magic of belonging.
Who are you people who actually enjoy pranks??? It's Monday and Matthew Gray Gubler is here!
S4 E18: In this episode meet Emily Arnold McCully, author of DREAMING IN CODE; Matthew Gray Gubler, author of RUMPLE BUTTERCUP; and A.S. King, author of DIG. Ronnie barely stays awake and he and Jazz discuss the boring hallucinatory episode "Mr. Scratch"! Could director Matthew Gray Gubler rip off The Grudge any more? How is the unsub so skilled? Why the fuck is Jennifer Love Hewitt on the show, and why aren't her breasts prominent supporting characters? All this and what stupid thing Ron Johnson has said recently on the newest Deliver The Profile! Also: the announcement of the first ever Deliver The Profile Challenge.
The thrilling conclusion you've all been waiting for! Ben talks iPod games, Mel Gibson, burgers, Matthew Gray Gubler, Chipmunk movie trivia, our mutual love of Let's Play videos, and he goes through his Most Underrated of 2015 lists, as well as the (incredibly embarrassing) albums on his phone. Listen up and you might just hear Judge Judy stop by!
Hey, two weeks in a row! Who'd a thunk? This week, Casey and Colleen are joined by their daughter Delaney for a look at 2014's "Suburban Gothic" starring Matthew Gray Gubler, Kat Dennings, Ray Wise and some other familiar faces!
Matthew Gray Gubler is best know for his long-standing role as the know-it-all Dr. Spencer Reid on CBS’s Criminal Minds, but Gubler is a true horror nerd at heart. At this year’s Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal, he was in town for the premiere of two upcoming horror flicks he recently completed, Suburban Gothic (co-starring Ray Wise) and Life After Beth (co-starring Aubrey Plaza). We caught up with Matthew to discuss his deep-rooted love of horror movies, his decade on Criminal Minds, and what it’s like to intern for Wes Anderson. Matthew couldn’t have been friendlier, and both Suburban Gothic & Life After Beth are definitely worth tracking down (and would actually make for a great double feature).
