Salut salut, c’est Mineroll & Yananas !On sort aujourd’hui le début d’un projet qu’on affectionne particulièrement : la série Inspecteur Desfac ! (oui encore un inspecteur, on s’inspire des meilleurs : nous)Pour vous raconter un peu son histoire, tout débute il y a un peu plus d’un an, quand on écrit un mono sur ce personnage très factuel et… extrêment con. On a tellement aimé l’Inspecteur et on avait tellement d’idées qu’on a décidé d’en faire une série. Donc voilà ce mono qui est en réalité l’épisode pilote de cette série. Ainsi, vous pouvez découvrir tranquillement l’Inspecteur Desfac et son acolyte Johnson, avant qu’une enquête plus importante ne débute. On a pris beaucoup de plaisir à créer cet épisode et on rigole toujours autant en l’écoutant alors on espère qu’il vous plaira autant qu’à nous ! On remercie grandement tous les acteur qui ont participé à cet épisode : Hazbin Bazar VF, Stellaire Dragon, Maman Kim, Émilie Madsen, Nocturios, SouTonPseudo et bien sûr, nous-même : Mineroll et Yananas (et oui on se remercie) Et un énorme merci à Hypoflyse pour l’illustration de cette superbe pochette, c’est grâce à elle que l’inspecteur Desfac et Johnson sont si beaux !! Tandis que Johnson, pragmatique, découvre un couteau qu'il pense être l'arme du crime, Desfac se concentre sur des miettes de brownie trouvée sur la victime, convaincu qu'elles détiennent la clé du mystère. This slice is a classic and so easy to make! The tamarillo jam is a lovely surprise.   Make 16-20 pieces    Ingredients   6-8 large tamarillo, halved and flesh scooped and diced   ¼ cup sugar   120g butter, softened  1/3 cup caster sugar  2 large eggs, separated  1 tsp vanilla extract  1 ½ cups flour, sifted  ½ cup walnut meal   1 tsp baking powder  ½ cup caster sugar  ½ cup desiccated coconut    Method  1. Make a quick tamarillo jam by simmering fruit with sugar for 15-20 minutes until thickened slightly. Cool.   2. Preheat oven to 180 C. Lightly grease and line sandwich tin.  3. Beat butter and sugar until light and creamy then add egg yolks and vanilla and beat until combined.  Fold in flour, walnut meal and baking powder and stir until it starts to come together. Tumble mixture (it will be clumpy crumbs) into prepared tin and press out evenly. Chill for 10 minutes.  4. Spread cooled tamarillo jam evenly over chilled base.   5. Beat the egg whites until foamy then gradually add sugar and beat until sugar is dissolved, mixture is glossy and soft peaks form. Fold in coconut. Spread meringue over the jam.   6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until meringue is light brown and crisped.   7. Cool on a wire rack before cutting into squares.    Nici's Note  To avoid blood sugar levels spiking and dropping, it's best to include some protein when consuming sugar as this has the effect of tempering the absorption of glucose into the blood stream. Hi Bakers, I am sorry it took so long to get you this episode. These cookies are worth the wait! If you love very sweet treats with a cloud-like exterior and a chewy chocolate chip center these are your cookies. Meringues made at home are nothing like the kind you buy because they taste a lot better and have a totally different texture. With some helpful tips and tricks, these are easy to bake with delicious results. I got a bit adventurous and made half the recipe with chocolate chips but the other half with purple sweet potato powder…stay tuned to the end to see how that turned out. I've included the full recipe and the two half versions I made on the episode below so you can try either or both of these cookies. Have fun with this unusual and memorable bake ~Carolyn Whole Recipe Meringue Chocolate Chip Cookie  6 large egg whites 3/8 teaspoon salt 3/8 teaspoon cream of tartar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips Preheat the oven to 300F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a brown paper bag cut to fit the baking sheet. In a large bowl use a hand mixer, to beat the egg whites, salt, vanilla, and cream of tartar until soft peaks form. Gradually add the sugar while beating until the batter is pure white and marshmallow cream consistency. Stir in chocolate chips.  Drop by spoonfuls onto a lined cookie sheet. Swirl a design on top if desired. Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until cookies are browned and have a firm crust on the outside. Let cool for five minutes and peel off paper. Eat within a day. Half Recipe Purple Sweet Potato Meringue Cookie 3 large egg whites heaping 1/8 teaspoon salt heaping 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 1 tablespoon purple sweet potato powder, freeze-dried 1/2 cup granulated sugar Preheat the oven to 300F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a brown paper bag cut to fit the baking sheet. In a large bowl use a hand mixer, to beat the egg whites, salt, vanilla, and cream of tartar until soft peaks form. Gradually add the sugar while beating until the batter is pure white and marshmallow cream consistency. Whisk the sweet potato powder into 1/2 cup of sugar. Gradually add sugar with potato powder. Drop by spoonfuls onto a lined cookie sheet. Swirl a design on top if desired. Bake for about 35-40 minutes or until cookies are browned and have a firm crust on the outside. Let cool for five minutes and peel off the paper. Eat within a day. Half Recipe Chocolate Chip Meringue Cookie 3 large egg whites heaping 1/8 teaspoon salt heaping 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar 1 cup + 2 tablespoon granulated sugar 1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips Preheat the oven to 300F.
