In this episode of the Pharmacy View Podcast's Rx to Riches stream, international host Michael Alexander, a Pharmacist, entrepreneur, digital health enthusiast, Co-Founder of Audirie, and the Regional Vice-President of Health Plans at Omada Health, speaks with Surge Singh, Co-Founder of Locumate and Locumate.ai. Surge shares how their platform is transforming the way Pharmacists connect with locum opportunities, addressing inefficiencies that have long plagued the industry. What started as a personal frustration—when Surge's wife received an unexpectedly high invoice for a locum Pharmacist—led to the creation of a holistic talent orchestration platform. By leveraging high-tech solutions and combining technology with human interaction, Locumate has grown from a simple marketplace into an end-to-end staffing solution, making it easier for Pharmacies to find the right professionals quickly and efficiently. Over the past 2 years, Locumate has evolved significantly, expanding from a transactional marketplace into a comprehensive workforce management system. Initially, Pharmacies sought locums through external agencies, but Surge and their team recognised a broader issue: many Pharmacies first search within their internal networks before turning to external sources. To address this, Locumate developed a seamless solution that integrates internal talent pools, personal networks, agencies, and marketplaces, allowing Pharmacies to access the best professionals at the click of a button. This shift positions Locumate as a true orchestration engine for healthcare staffing, ensuring that the right professionals are matched with the right opportunities. Finding a suitable locum has often been compared to a blind date—uncertain and sometimes mismatched. Locumate is solving this by incorporating shift feedback data to identify workforce gaps and partnering with training providers like Audirie and the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia. By integrating AI-driven talent matching, the platform now ensures that the best-suited locum is placed in each Pharmacy, rather than just filling shifts. Demand from industry professionals has also led to Locumate's expansion into other healthcare sectors, including physiotherapy and podiatry, further cementing its role as a scalable, multi-sector solution. Surge shares the journey of expanding into the U.S. market, a process that began with a chance conversation at an accelerator program and led to a pivotal meeting at the NCPA conference in Kansas City. Despite initial scepticism, a simple chat over a pumpkin spice latte with the CEO of the California Pharmacy Association resulted in a strategic partnership with the American Pharmacists Association, opening doors for Locumate in the U.S. However, breaking into the market required board approvals, legal navigation, and compliance with strict regulations, particularly in California. Looking ahead, Locumate is positioning itself as Australia's first AI-enabled job board for Pharmacy, with plans to expand into the U.S. and other allied health sectors. The platform is broadening its scope to include Pharmacy technicians, retail staff, and students, while also focusing on workforce skill development through collaborations with organisations like the American Pharmacy Association. In the next five years, AI-driven recommendations will help Pharmacy professionals identify ideal career paths based on their skills and personalities, removing guesswork from job matching. Surge highlights the need for a mindset shift in the Australian Pharmacy industry, urging professionals to embrace technology-driven workforce solutions rather than resisting change. Ultimately, Locumate aims to revolutionise Pharmacy workforce management, ensuring that both professionals and employers benefit from a more structured, data-driven approach.

In this episode of the Pharmacy View Podcast's Rx to Riches stream, international host Michael Alexander, a Pharmacist, entrepreneur, digital health enthusiast, Co-Founder of Audirie, and the Regional Vice-President of Health Plans at Omada Health, speaks with Angela Stathopoulos, Group Manager of Education and Development at Chemist Warehouse. With nearly 30 years of experience across community, regulatory, and hospital Pharmacy sectors, Angela discusses her dedication to fostering the next generation of Pharmacy professionals. She elaborates on Chemist Warehouse's dynamic approach to training, highlighting initiatives aimed at advancing Pharmacy practice, developing new services, and supporting early-career Pharmacists. Angela's journey reflects a passion for embracing opportunities, which she encourages in those looking to grow within the field. Angela dives into the extensive training programs offered by Chemist Warehouse, ranging from an internally developed internship program to advanced CPD courses. Key initiatives like "Leading for the Future" and "Step Up" were designed to meet the evolving demands of the Pharmacy industry, and Angela explains that these programs were developed in consultation with stakeholders, providing both leadership training and support for early-career Pharmacists. Her approach emphasises Chemist Warehouse's commitment to equipping Pharmacists with essential skills to navigate the ever-changing Pharmacy landscape while ensuring consistent, high-quality training across all locations. To achieve this consistency, Angela describes a hybrid model of in-person and online training, made possible through platforms like Zoom and AI-driven tools for Pharmacy assistant training. The integration of AI, she explains, is pivotal for maintaining scalable and standardised training, especially across Australia's remote areas. However, Angela stresses that AI tools are only as effective as the team managing them, ensuring that quality standards are met. This combination of technology and human oversight allows Chemist Warehouse to meet the educational needs of Pharmacists in varied geographic regions while maintaining flexibility and adaptability. Internationally, Angela shares the challenges and successes of adapting Chemist Warehouse's Australian training models for different regions, such as New Zealand, Ireland, and the UAE. Each region brings unique regulatory and cultural needs, requiring collaboration with local experts to ensure training aligns with local standards. Angela emphasises the importance of collecting feedback from both trainees and regional authorities, which informs improvements and adjustments to training programs. This feedback loop is essential for refining programs in a way that balances the needs of learners and the organisation, ensuring a strong return on investment. The conversation then shifts to the evolving skill requirements for Pharmacists, which have expanded from purely clinical skills to include critical soft skills like empathy, communication, and problem-solving. Angela explains that while technical expertise remains foundational, handling complex patient interactions and regulatory issues requires a broader skill set. Closing on a light-hearted note, Michael humorously offers Angela "magic powers" to enhance Chemist Warehouse's training program, to which Angela replies that she would clone her dedicated team to better address training demands. They discuss upcoming programs, such as the "Step Up" initiative for student Pharmacists and a Managing Partner pathway aimed at guiding Pharmacists from entry-level roles to ownership opportunities within the company. Angela's insights reveal Chemist Warehouse's focus on career development and innovation, underscoring their commitment to expanding Pharmacists' clinical responsibilities and supporting a holistic approach to patient care.

So a as we get through this, we're gonna answer that. And you know, who we're gonna hear from today is we've got on one of our longtime fantastic partners, good old Mr. Andrew Bond from Trinity Network. Andrew, how you doing, man? Andrew Bond (00:38): Good, man. Thanks for having me on. Josh Lupresto (00:41): Appreciate you coming on. I know you got a lot of expertise. You've been doing this, so you've seen a lot of cool evolutions. And so before we get into the weeds and teams and all that good stuff, I want to hear about your background. You know, where, how did this space suck you in? Did you always know you wanted to do this? How did you get here? Andrew Bond (00:59): I had no idea I wanted to be here. I went to a college in Ellensburg, Washington called Central Washington University. Thought I wanted to be in banking and finance. And that just happened to be around the time that banks were starting to go out of business. One of them in particular are Washington Mutual, three rescinded offers later because the departments were being literally shut down before they announced the the mortgage crisis. I went to a fundraiser with a friend of mine and she sat me down on the table with a gentleman named Rick, and he said, man, you're pretty cool. You should be in, you should be in the telecommunication space. And I was like, what is that? He goes, I was like, he's like cell phones or something. He's like, oh, no, that's, that's, don't do that. That's terrible. He's like, no, you still like pots lines and t1 s I was like, I have no idea what that is, but tell you what, I'm working at a restaurant and a bank as a teller and another restaurant, and I'm lost. Andrew Bond (02:01): I was like, but I got a degree, and well, I'll take a, you know, I'll take an interview with somebody. So I went down to this office that he told me to go cold call, which was Integra Telecom sales office in Bellevue, before they had all these fancy towers in restaurants, in bars, and knocked on the door and asked for this guy named Michael Alexander. And he walked me into his sales manager's office, which was Craig Hawley, and I asked him to interview me for a job, and the next week he brought me in, and then I moved to Florida. And then that guy, that same gentleman, Craig, tracked me down and gave me an offer over a fax machine, which was kind of funny. Yes, I had to go to a Tom phone to get the interview or to get the, the offer letter. Andrew Bond (02:50): My dad called me. He's like, there's this guy named Craig called the house like five times. He's looking for you. He said, he wants to hire you. I was like, Hmm, all right. So I gave him this phone number. He is like, that's in Destin, Florida. What are you, what are you down there for? So anyways, got my offer letter, got in my car a couple weeks later, drove from Destin, Florida back to Seattle, started training, see that was in like November. Started training in December and had a quota in January, and God, the rest was history. And then, and then I got a wild hair started here in the,

Today we discuss the importance of "In re Marriage of Prentis-Margulis & Margulis" Which discusses the fiduciary responsibility of spouses not to hide assets and the ramifications if they do. We get into Family Code 721, 1100, 1101 and some corporation code (yes spouses do fall under these codes as well). In a marital dissolution proceeding to divide the community property, where the nonmanaging spouse has prima facie evidence that community assets of a certain value have disappeared while in the control *330 of the managing spouse post-separation, should the managing spouse have the burden of proof to account for the missing assets? The answer is yes. Family code 1100 and 721 to disclose Join Mark Esquibel, Michael Alexander and myself as we discuss this. A reminder that we are not attorneys. And this is not legal advice. However, we will help you more than any attorney ever will. And now here's your hosts, Michael Alexander and Mark Fidelman. Hello, everyone, welcome to divorce matters. Oh my god, you know who's back? Michael Alexander. I can't believe it. He's finally decided to come out of this retirement and do another show. And his name is on the freakin headline. So I'm glad to have you back. Michael. We have a very special show today. A lot of you are going to want to hear this. It is about recusing a judge we have found another tactic. Again, I want to say only recuse bad judges, you can't be using this to recuse somebody that's ruling fairly that you don't like because you're the problem has to be a bad judge that does bad things. So with that said, Michael, welcome back to the show. Thank you. Pleasure to not see you again. And we also have a special guest. We're gonna call her Angel law today because we don't want her to be inundated with requests for her to help you. She's not an attorney, she is in an attorney's firm, same one that I'm associated with, but neither one of us are attorney. So this isn't legal advice. We're just going to talk about her case. And, well, Angel, why don't you introduce yourself real quick. Thank you so much for the very warm introduction. I am a litigant, a survivor of victim and now warrior of the family court system. So I am no different than every person listening to my voice right now. I am in your shoes, I was in your shoes, you might be somewhere different on the journey. I am a proud mother of three wonderful children. And we have endured nine years of a an amoral court system. I've seen the worst of the worst in my case and in many others. And I feel joyful and privileged to be here today to give some good news. I guess I could describe myself as the court Houdini, but I am still inside of there nine years later without ever having had a trial. All that being said, I have successfully removed a 730 custody evaluator for my case, I have successfully removed a therapist, I have successfully removed a parenting plan coordinator and all the other cottage industry charlatans. Perhaps my golden star came when a corrupt bag of puke minors counsel was appointed to my case over my objection. And the miners Council refused to take the case because of my name being involved. And all of this culminated to the final removal of a very, very, very bad judge. So without further ado, that's kind of my resume. My experience of the Family Court. All right, so let me summarize. Summarize it real quick. You haven't had a trial, it's been nine years, you've had a lot of bad actors, which we all know, are part of the system to extract as much money out of you as possible. It's not going to be in everyone's case. But I think the majority of cases I've seen, this is what's going on, you figure out how to remove all of them. You had one thorn in your side, which was a bad judge, how long was that bad judge part of your case? Well, Mark, it's really good and important question. My matter had been in front of one very corrupt judge for eight years, I did not know how to get rid of him. And the one 170.1 motion that I'm about to describe that I used with the new judge would not have worked once I had a judge on for many years, but we'll touch upon alternate Sponsored by Kids Matter www.kidsmatter.charity donate to give kids a voice in divorce Michael's YouTube Videos https://www.youtube.com/user/MrPropriaPersona1 Contact Michael at www.judicialrevolution.u

Through the exciting and meaningful adventures of its hosts — vegan chef Michael Alexander and his yogi wife, Bianca — Conscious Living inspires audiences around the world to embrace a more conscientious, healthy life. The media we consume is an important part of the wellness revolution, which led Bianca and Michael to conceive Conscious Living on a beach in Bali during their honeymoon in 2004. During a year-long spiritual sabbatical in the healing vortex of Sedona, Arizona, they produced the first episodes of Conscious Living as a resource to conscious travelers in 2006. Since launching Conscious Living, they've produced hundreds of inspiring stories at beautiful destinations in 18+ countries like a Zen hot springs meditation retreat near Big Sur, California and an Ayurvedic yoga detox in the Himalayas, and given viewers front-row seats to ethical events like an upcycled eco-fashion show in Hong Kong, while helping them hunt for the tastiest vegan street food from Bali to Berlin. Throughout the series, they have collaborated with Safeway/Von's O Organics Brand, Hain Celestial, Aveda, Whole Foods, Soda Stream, and more. Take the journey with Conscious Living as they travel the wild path to a brighter tomorrow.
